The other narrations used for killing apostates, from Abu Hurayra and Hamza al-Aslami, also have problems in their chains: rejected or unknown narrators and a known mudallis.

In more detail

Mufti Abu Layth turns to the second narration, from Abu Hurayra, which he says is transmitted in Bukhari [?], al-Darimi and Ahmad's Musnad in five versions, all through Bukayr; one chain is Qutayba from al-Layth from Bukayr from Sulayman ibn Yasar from Abu Hurayra. He says some transmitters place another person in that chain, that al-Hakim problematised narrations of Qutayba from al-Layth because Qutayba sometimes took from Khalid al-Mada'ini [?], who was rejected and called a liar, and that in al-Darimi Bukayr narrates from Abu Ishaq al-Dawsi [?] rather than Sulayman ibn Yasar, a narrator al-Dhahabi and others call unknown. On the narration of Hamza al-Aslami [?] in Abu Dawud and Ahmad, he says one chain runs through Ibn Jurayj, criticised as a mudallis whose narration is not accepted unless he states that he heard it, and the other through Hamza's son Muhammad, whom critics describe as unknown or weak. He then sets the chain analysis aside to return to a simpler point.

these people so why did I bring that to show that well people this narration is life life right this is to do with apostasy so you say well okay that's interesting hmm and that's the main narration that people use the other thing is that it clearly clashes with all three it clashes with reason I slammed giving you freedom of belief a clashes with the established sources the Quran and the clear life of the Prophet and with

39:14

principles in Islam the second hadith of Abu Hurairah which is transmitted in Bihari intimately in der me and most of Ahmed as five narrations of it it's transmitted all of these narrations people all of these narrations come through they come of Abu Huraira come through bouquet Allah Akbar right and the narrations are put a BA from lathe and it goes on and they go on from bouquet from Solomon

39:48

igneous are from from Abu ho it'll be a long one some transmitters have actually said that there was another person in the chain there okay right amongst them even eyes how can other people transmit that and Hakeem has problematized some of the narrations from Kota BA from a lathe saying that sometimes Kotova took from her little Medini who is at utterly rejected in fact a liar in some of his narrations and one of them as an example is the husband suits a book and endure me right this narration bokade

40:26

actually brings from abu is how toodo see from a Barrera not from Solomonic Nisa which sounds like the more true a chain where this was coming from and who is this voice after dosey Darby says unknown module Abner ii says module unknown right so this actually unacceptable people that narration of homs al s la me right this comes in abu dawood and it comes in the muslim varmint abu dawud is transmitted from muhammad apna bakr al burns a me from

transmitted from imam malik when he transmits people speaking of of of a penetration that is hard to believe there is somebody who gathers all kinds of transmissions okay the second chain that you've got from abu dawood once again comes from his son from homs al islamic son who's known as Mohammed even Hamza everyone Phaethon says we don't know who he is even hasn't said he's died Eve the ieave people died right okay look that's a hadith II analysis I want to put that aside for a moment okay but I want you

42:23

to cover it to show you I want to come back to something very simple and that is look I want to ask you if you said an apostate deserves death the first question is why if you say it's because of disbelief well that doesn't make sense because then all Kafar deserve death if you say it's because he accepted the message and then rejected it but then what if he never actually accepted that message and like most Muslims today was just born a Muslim or what if he accepted it by doing that

43:01

lead by just following somebody into it and then rejected it so he never truly accepted hence a lot of those transmissions like from that amantha how he brings or imam show can he brings that these people and you've got amantha how he in his esta la caja brings from home where it now Abdul Aziz that he would take the jizya from these people so why from Mehrtens because maybe they never really accepted Islam in the first place so you gotta ask the question why a question as some
