What this part covers
machinesummary, machine-writtenQadhi's clip claims the hadith of the return are too numerous to discount, narrated from about ten companions, held to be mutawatir and found in dozens of theological works, including those of the Maliki school's leading figures. Mufti Abu Layth responds with sarcasm and says the reply is still to come.
In more detail
The clip moves to the hadith, which Qadhi says make the matter crystal clear and leave no ambiguity: the reports are too numerous to discount, the most authentic being in Sahih Muslim, they are narrated from around ten companions including Abu Hurayra, Jabir and Ibn Mas'ud, and multiple scholars have claimed that the hadith of the return are mutawatir. Mufti Abu Layth interjects that doubt has been killed, that there may be doubt in God but none in this, and explains with heavy sarcasm that mutawatir means it is inconceivable that the report could be false. Qadhi cites the tafsir of al-Samarqandi [?] and al-Jassas [?] among many works, says the return is found in dozens of works of Sunni theology, and tells any Malikis in the audience that these are the dons of the Maliki school, asking how anyone can claim allegiance to the Maliki madhhab and deny the return. Mufti responds with mock outrage directed at himself and his Maliki audience, then replays the point.

interpretation of the quran and we can say that the quran strongly suggests the quran seems to have a very strong indication that isa is coming move on to the hadith and as for the hadith this is where of course the issue becomes crystal clear so so that's the strong inkling strong suggestion jesus is coming in the quran even though it's we're going to see in a moment it's not actually anywhere in the quran but strong then the hadith there's no doubt
now that doubt has been killed there is no doubt there may be doubt in god but there's no doubt in this now let's there's no doubt whatsoever this quran and we can say that the quran strongly suggests the quran seems to have a very strong indication that isa is coming move on to the hadith and as for the hadith this is where of course the issue becomes uh crystal clear crystal clear this is where there leaves no ambiguity whatsoever
the number of hadith reported are simply too numerous to discount and the most authentic in terms of mainstream sunni islam is the hadith that is muslim now the number of narrations or the number of books of hadith that mention the coming of isa are beyond counting for this simple and the number of sahaba from whom this hadith is narrated is around around 10 or so we have abu hurairah we have jabba abdullah ibn masrood um
and in fact one or two more i have them in the full file that i wrote up so we have a round yeah um uh who wrote uh this famous book called multiple scholars have claimed that the hadith about the return of jesus this is a huge thing that we don't want to simply dismiss and ignore that means if you it's important possible
the are too numerous and they are too diverse impossible people so just so you all know that motawater is when something is so it's impossible inconceivable that this could be false inconceivable it's i mean it's not inconceivable that god doesn't exist but it's inconceivable that jesus that this hadith could be false that jesus is coming back
i'm learning a lot today i'm learning as a fact not a controversy uh the tafsir of samar khande the tafseera will just sauce and by the way i'm not just quoting random names i have looked at all of these this season i have the quotes in my notes but i'm just so many ate the books mentioned that i can't even list all of them the notion of isa coming back of many books of theology it's not something that is just found in random it is found in many dozens of works of sunni theology for any maliki's in the audience
these are the dawns of the maliki school so how can anybody claim the big deal and yet claim that is not going to come back teasing us in the audience of course we're going to be in the audience watching your clue you you you how could dawns with the big d people big d dawns of the malki mother hello let's see let's see back despite all of the great giants of the
uh giants great giants of the malikima how can you be a male how abe how can you guys be maliki for god's sake just end your miserable lives today you you you stain on humanity [Laughter] there is there is literally do you know what yeah do this to yourselves and just end your gene pool today this is it people this is it [Laughter]
just this is what you all deserve this is what [Laughter] right so let's go back uh maliki's school claiming that isa is so how can anybody claim allegiance to the maliki medha and yet claim that is not going to come back despite all of the great giants of the maliki medha uh maliki school claiming that isa is going to come back and by the way the notion that imam malik does not have this particular hadith it's neither here nor there imam i read in that imam ali didn't believe that
