What this part covers
machinesummary, machine-writtenMufti Abu Layth says none of Qadhi's claims hold: not one of the hundred narrations is sound, Ibn Hazm recorded Muslim disagreement on the return nine centuries ago, major creed works omit it, and the Maliki authorities Qadhi cites held the reports not to be mutawatir. He announces a reply series, Disclosure with a big D.
In more detail
Mufti Abu Layth sums up Qadhi's key claims with a short answer to each: that the response would be academic, which it clearly was not; that the Quran strongly suggests the second coming, which it does not; that four verses show it, which he denies; that the hadith leave no doubt, which he calls utter nonsense; that there are a hundred narrations, not a single one of which he considers sound; and that the reports in Bukhari and Muslim are indisputable, which he will examine shortly. He announces that over the coming weeks he will answer these points in a series he calls Disclosure with a big D, since Qadhi gave half truths. On the Maliki dons he says Qadhi can be a Salafi and disagree with Salafi scholars yet denies a Maliki the same right, which he calls hypocrisy. On the claim of ijma he says Qadhi did not cite Ibn Hazm, who documented some nine hundred years ago, eight hundred years before Abduh, that the main body of Muslims disagreed about whether Jesus will return, nor Ibn Taymiyya's notes that pass over the point. He says Qadhi highlights creed books that mention the return but not major creed works that do not, including Ibn Taymiyya's al-Wasitiyya [?], and that the scholars Qadhi calls dons describe the return not as mutawatir but as something still carrying doubt which they nonetheless accept. He adds that the metaphorical reading of the return as goodness at the end of time was mentioned six or seven hundred years ago in a work on maqasid [?], long before Abduh, and mocks the day and a half of research Qadhi says he did.

Position stated
Mufti Abu Layth holds that Qadhi's claims fail: the Quran does not suggest a second coming, none of the hundred narrations is sound, Ibn Hazm recorded Muslim disagreement on the return nine centuries ago, major creed works omit it, and the Maliki authorities Qadhi cites held the reports to carry doubt rather than to be mutawatir.
“the quran strongly suggests the second coming uh it doesn't there are four verses show this to be true i'm afraid not these leave no doubt uh that's utter nonsense hundred narrations not a single one sound”

this people is a quick overview now to show what is it that yes said to sum it up for you guys all right so you've got these were some of the key things that below it has made that the response would be academic clearly wasn't the quran strongly suggests the second coming uh it doesn't there are four verses show this to be true i'm afraid not these leave no doubt uh that's utter nonsense hundred narrations not a single one
sound hadees from buhari and muslim are indisputable we will take a look at that in a moment so these are some of the claims that it is now what i'll do some of these i will be looking at in weeks to come i will take certain points and answer them as part of the series disclosure with a big d because yasar khadi has done disclosure with a small d i'm gonna do it with a big d because he's been giving a lot of half truths you know so right
so many scholars stating it must be true such numbers cannot be wrong these are all his claims maliki dons have clearly stated one cannot be maliki and deny the second coming note how himself he can he can be salafi and yet disagree with salafi olama but when you maliki no you can't disagree at cha cha cha cha cha cha this kind of hypocrisy
hypocrisy there is ma on the second coming second coming there is ichima all the scholars have agreed and even though he didn't by the way he didn't cite things like ibn hasan documenting 900 years ago in his book that they that the muslims and he says the main body of muslims about jesus
will he return he states that they disagreed yet he doesn't highlight that he highlights muhammad abdul 800 years before muhammad abdul uh ibn hazmat highlighted it in his book he doesn't highlight the uh the fact that ibn tamiya has his notes on on on the marathon and doesn't even criticize that point he ignores that as well now he says that it's mentioned in major books of
uh creed he he doesn't highlight the major books of creed that don't mention it he doesn't highlight others one of his you know the major uh people of akida who who who has his uh shah mahdi he highlights he doesn't show that oh he doesn't mention he doesn't mention that ibn himself in the washita doesn't mention it all the ulama it's not in the um it's not in and these scholars who he highlights as dons
actually mention it not to be mutawatyr they mention it to be something that has still doubt in it but they accept it so he completely misses these points but cello let's uh um and and at these points in the weeks to come i'll elaborate further on them him saying muhammad abdul was the first person to come out with the spirit of jesus has he studied uh has he studied his makasi the sid it is mentioned in the and this is what six seven hundred years ago you're going at
least almost 600 years ago you're going he mentions that some people he may when he mentions the second coming of jesus he says some people say this is a metaphor to say that there will be goodness towards the end of the end of time as though it's almost christ-like this kind of peace he mentions that hundreds of years ago the book yes saying oh the first person to come up with this was muhammad abdu in egypt
i know you said you did one day research one and a half day research you should have finished the half a day and made it into two holidays [Laughter] maybe you would have discovered this so these were his claims even though i've highlighted that this ibn has a mentions this almost 900 years ago that muslims have disagreed on this point
he says that muhammad abdul was the first to come up with this his thing on the main point of difference is to differentiate between hadith and sunnah comes from muhammad abdul this is the usual of the hanafi madhyab and the maliki method that we do tafriq al hadith sunnah unlike the shepherd's but you know there you go that just if only he'd done two and a half days research
