What this part covers
machinesummary, machine-writtenNo: a jinn, created from fire, would belong to a domain of life as alien to us as extremophile bacteria, which do not fall in love or envy marriages. Blaming jinn or magic for a failed relationship comes from the stigma Muslims attach to mental illness.
In more detail
Mufti Abu Layth says Muslims take such offence at the suggestion of a mental health problem, 'my mum is not mental', that they prefer to say it is the jinn or magic, and that broken relationships are blamed on jinn sent to interfere. Even if one considers what the jinn are, he says, they would belong to a different domain of life: biologists divide life into Archaea, Bacteria and Eukarya, the last including all animals and plants, and Archaea, perhaps the most ancient life, are microscopic single cells without nuclei that survive extreme heat, freezing and space and need no oxygen or photosynthesis. He is not saying jinn are Archaea, but if the Quran says the jinn were created from fire, the parallel would be with such extremophiles, utterly unlike the plant and animal life humans belong to. So the idea that a jinn fell in love with one's wife and ruined the marriage is like saying a bacterium is jealous of one's relationship; jinn are not even the same domain, let alone species, and do not work like humans.
Position stated
Mufti Abu Layth says Muslims' stigma against mental illness pushes them to blame jinn or magic, and that jinn, if considered at all, belong to a different domain of life from humans, like extremophile Archaea, so they do not fall in love or wreck marriages.

kind of disorders it starts reacting weirdly like think about if you physically do something to your body react why would the brain not react we think everybody so and we have such a stigma towards mental health Muslims get so offended if you say this could be a mental health issue so what do you mean like my mom my mom ain't mental haha not a betting man but if I was you know the thing is look what do you mean like what does this sound normal what you're saying that you know there's all this
going on in every fairy fairy tales and all this kind of stuff no but she's not no it's the jinn god damn it it's the genius the gene that makes sense or it's magic oh my relationship has broken down my relationship was broken up because because of the jinn somebody sent jinn to interfere with us now I've said hmm okay even if even if right we were to consider what the jinn are and this is what I was saying earlier on there would be a different domain so they speak about life breaking off into these domains you have archaea bacteria and Eukarya and from Eukarya comes all animal plants all this kind of
stuff yeah archaea actually is one of they probably feel the most ancient form of life on earth which is tiny microscopic single-cell doesn't have nuclei and nuclei to it and it is actually what they call an extremal file I'm just giving an example it survives in extreme like wait it could survive in up to 150 degrees in thrives like forget boiling water wouldn't kill it freezing temperatures generally wouldn't kill it it's survived in space it doesn't require oxygen it doesn't require photosynthesis the way other things do it doesn't
this is archaea it thrives in hot lava and stuff like somebody could say well Allah says all John Halak now main Cobb Luminara salmon you know we created them from fire and but if you were to draw parallels of life with any thing I'm not saying they are AK Archaea but you would draw them with things like this these time these things which are extremophiles completely different to you carry on where we get our life kind from plants and animals and humans and so on yet so would you say Oh a bacteria is jealous of my relationship oh that you know my relationship messed up
because this gene fell in love with me or fell in love with my wife or fell in love with and it just ruined everything that's like oh this this virus was just flying around and I fell in love with me ruin my whole love life that isn't making so white why do you think Djinn work like that like oh they work like humans they're not the same species or genus they're not even the same domain as us like so it's important to understand these things we can't just be little we have to take responsibility for relationship messes up it's because of your own doing because the relationship messed up human beings look
