The answer in brief

machinesummary, machine-written

Mufti Abu Layth says consciousness points to the transcendent divine, and that among world religions only Islam passes the test of reason for him.

In more detail

A super chat asks what his personal reasoning is for the existence of God and the Quran being God's word. Mufti Abu Layth points to his video and sums up: he feels consciousness cannot come from nothing and is reflective of the transcendent divine. Of the major world religions, he says, only Islam stands the test of reason for him.

Much love for the super chat. Just out of love, Zub 200 stars." Gio Gio Zub Gut has said, "Watched your role on reason and religion. Wondering what was your personal reasoning for the existence of God and the Quran being his divine word." I do have a a video on that. I do explain that. Look, my understanding is I do. But to sum it up, do watch my video.

2:51:26

But to sum it up briefly, I honestly feel that just by having consciousness, it is impossible that we I feel just were from like consciousness cannot just come from just nothing. To me, it is reflective of the transcendent divine to me.

2:51:53

And then from all world religions worldwide, let's say the top six or however you want to put them in the top league, it is only Islam that stands the test of reason for me. Um, moment. Do schizophrenics have profound religious insight? Many have religious delusions and many prophets are accused of being mad. That's an interesting point. Although I don't think it's a necessary follow.

2:52:18

I don't think if you have schizophrenia it means you necessarily must have divine insights but I feel it's plausible I feel it's plausible that people you know they say um you know in the temporal lobe certain neural activity has been high with certain uh what are accused of being disorders um or sorry what are what are disorders certain disorders and so could it be it's also linked neural activity, high neural activity in the temporal lobe is also linked with high religiosity.
