The answer in brief
machinesummary, machine-writtenMufti Abu Layth says deliberately reciting the Quran in the shower is bad etiquette, though a verse slipping out by habit is fine.
In more detail
A viewer asks whether one can recite the Quran in the shower. Mufti Abu Layth says one physically can, but intentionally setting out to recite it while washing is very bad etiquette, because the Quran has a sanctity and adab. He distinguishes reciting a verse by habit or as the mind drifts, which is fine, from deliberately reciting it in the shower.

Let me find somebody says can you recite the Quran in the shower? you I mean you physically can but it's very bad etiquette to do something like look the Quran is has a sanctity to it. I don't mean if you just subconsciously kind of you know just by habit recite something that's different but I mean you intentionally okay I'm going to now recite the Quran whilst I have a scrub.
Don't do things like that. That's not right. The Quran has a respect and etiquette and you know it has these adab towards it and a person should recite the Quran especially if it's intentional not just like by force of habit or somebody just reads a particular verse not you know whilst they drift away that's fine but I mean intentionally setting about to do a task person should recite the Quran with or you know with respect so yeah no I don't agree with that at Uh, Sik says, "You're doing it.
Much love for the super chat. Just out of love, Zub 200 stars." Gio Gio Zub Gut has said, "Watched your role on reason and religion. Wondering what was your personal reasoning for the existence of God and the Quran being his divine word." I do have a a video on that. I do explain that. Look, my understanding is I do. But to sum it up, do watch my video.
