Um but it's who he was marrying and the great harm that that would cause. You see, obviously, one could understand that a second wife would cause some harm anyway, like some, you know, it wouldn't be a pleasant feeling. I understand that. But you, they were in a society where it was quite the norm. It's not like an odd thing or one person was doing it.

Almost every single person did it. So, they grew up like that. Remember, they grew up as children. Every single person they saw, the majority of them w were practicing polygamy. wasn't something that was rare for them. But yet, I wouldn't deny the naturalness of that kind of jealousy or that kind of uh dislike and discomfort to that. I totally ex think that was real.

But the issue was Ali wanted to marry the daughter of Abu Jahal, not of not any other woman. who was who epitomized I mean she didn't but her father epitomized the absolute opposite end of the spectrum for the prophet you know you've got the prophet and you've got the enemy forces and at the epitome of was Abu Jahal so to marry his daughter so in one household see in fact read what the if don't stop there Read the full hadith.
