Scholars discard Zuhri's Fatima and suicide reports as his insertions but refuse to question the Jesus reports, half of which come through him with disconnected chains; Mufti Abu Layth calls this a double standard.

In more detail

Mufti Abu Layth says that Bukhari contains, through al-Zuhri, a hadith by the critics' own standards that Fatima was angry with Abu Bakr over the inheritance, which many scholars including a Shaykh Hasan [?] dismiss as Zuhri's own insertion, idraj. He says Bukhari also has, through Zuhri, that the Prophet tried to end his life on several occasions; Zuhri was known to add to chains, Ibn Hajar placed him in the third category of mudallisin whose reports are not accepted unless he says he heard them, and here he merely says he was informed, so scholars including al-Albani and those now attacking Mufti say Zuhri made it up. He points out that almost half the hadith of Jesus's return come through Zuhri with disconnected chains of the same kind, yet when he suggests the Messiah complex came from Zuhri the same scholars refuse to question him, while Zuhri's most reliable student, Malik, did not transmit it. He concludes that critical thinking will not come from a Muslim world caught up in sectarianism, and that the same critical review one would present to a non-Muslim should be applied to one's own tradition.

1:37:52

Bakr and Umar this is Asahi hadith by their standards because of you know because of a worker refusing to give her the the inheritance so she was angry so using this is in Bukhari and guess who transmits this hadeeth zouri low retransmit and do you know what these same scholars say including people like Sheikh Hassan has got a video online and other people many scholars say all jewelry made this up this is what they say Zoe made this up they say this is it ROG this is Ali's words he just put it in there it wasn't a hadith it wasn't

1:38:31

really from Fatima of the Elana oh oh that's interesting oh let me tell you another one there's another hadith of Zuri's in Buhari that the Prophet tried to commit suicide on several occasions this is in Bukhari by the way and you know Zoe was known as somebody that would brag sometimes like he would say he would like kind of just make up a chain or add things to a chain like he would say and you so you wouldn't say I heard somebody saying this he would just say so-and-so said this right so even a Hodja says he's somebody puts him in the third category of moodily seen somebody who you can't cross just like this unless he says I

1:39:11

heard him say this what does Zoe say in this hadith about the Prophet committing suicide to commit suicide in in Buhari he says and he informed me he doesn't even do his normal kind of he doesn't even do his normal on on on you know from I heard some oh somebody had said that he says he informed me that so and so and so that the Prophet tried to commit suicide do you know what they say including mock this evening are all these great scholars albani today all these same Allah mother are attacking me do you know what they say they say also he made

1:39:47

this up even Hodgins says it this is it Raja to Zuri's already made that up ah do you know 50% almost of all these hadith about Jesus coming are throughs early and they're actually not even connected in chain he's just saying I'm he's just saying it said from so-and-so he doesn't even say I heard them say and do you know this oh so when you don't like oh the Shia saying this oh then jewelry makes it up ah okay when you don't like that the Prophet oh this suicide thing then Zoe makes it up when I say oh sorry

1:40:25

you know this must be from Zoe about this whole Messiah Complex oh no no no no no now it's good for how can you questions Orry yeah the most sounds reliable narrator from Zoe was whom him a manic and did he transmitted it no so look I'm not making this stuff up people I'm telling you look let's just be open-minded I know look a lot of people say that look what they say look all these Muslims around the world but I want to be honest with you guys look when it comes to critical kind of thinking you're not going to get

1:41:04

it coming so much from today the way the Muslim world is they're not going to evaluate things and be critical why because they're too caught up in sectarianism they too caught up in sectarianism they're not going to kind of like be evaluative like this but in the West people have that thinking they have the atmosphere of being critical and the truth is the same critical review that you would present to non-muslim you ought to present it to Islam's or be true to yourself me true to the Dean this is not a core part of the Dean look guys
