The answer in brief
machinesummary, machine-writtenNo verse says so; Mufti Abu Layth reads the hadith on chained devils as meaning that good deeds become easier in Ramadan's shared spirit.
In more detail
Asked whether any verses of the Quran lead people to infer that hellfire freezes over during Ramadan, Mufti Abu Layth says there are no such verses about hellfire and Ramadan. He says the hadith that the devils are locked up means that it becomes easier to do good deeds: whether through collective consciousness or otherwise, there is a social spirit in which people are more charitable and do more good. Asked about a flat earth, he declines to dignify it.
Question as read aloud · questioner not identifiedAre there any verses from the Quran from which people infer that hellfire will freeze over during Ramadan?
Position stated
Mufti Abu Layth says no verse speaks of hell during Ramadan, and that the hadith on the devils being chained means that doing good becomes easier in the shared spirit of the month.
“no there's no verses like that about hellfire and ramadan etc but this hadith saying that the shayateen will be locked up and stuff and basically that just means it'll be easier to do good deeds”

all right what is going on right i don't know what's going on there something in the chat uh maryam right or any verses from the quran where people will infer this hellfire will freeze over during ramadan no there's no verses like that about hellfire and ramadan etc but this hadith saying that the shayateen will be locked up and stuff and basically that just means it'll be easier to do good deeds and there'll be more
and and people what what that means is like you'll find yourself in this spirit being able to to do more good and and whether that's through the collective consciousness or how that manifests apparently it does definitely manifest because there's a social spirit people are more charitable and they do more good things which is great what are your thoughts on a flat earth i'm not going to even dignify that nonsense uh zebra says i think increasing in knowledge is above
the sax i agree i agree you see because what i was saying is you have to look at the mind from two you have to compartmentalize it you have the unconscious and the conscious so the conscious being our has an instinctual need which is wonder and curiosity and then there's the unconscious being which is more linked with survival and it's not a but it seems to have a kind of like a mind but not it's not the conscious mind
