What this part covers
machinesummary, machine-writtenMufti Abu Layth debunks a viral image claiming to show Aisha's sewing machine and urges Muslims to use common sense.
In more detail
Mufti Abu Layth shows a picture circulating on social media captioned as the beloved sewing machine of Aisha, with calls to say subhan Allah and share it. Mufti points to the visible screw, notes the image came from a stock-photo website with its logo, and asks when the first sewing machine was even made, comparing it with a phone charger passed off as a companion's. Mufti says Muslims need to use common sense, do a little research and mature beyond this.

especially I'm talking about in that part of the world uh a very kind of um a uh [laughter] a bisexual past one may they but yeah so that's but that's the thing isn't it that's you know in psychology you see that quite a bit I mean Edgar Hoover and these people who are known homophobes yet hidden closet kind of um yeah so people let's move on to this um all right let me share this with you folks I came across this on social media this as you can see here was a picture
being circulated that mashallah This was the sewing machine of a machine. Subhan Allah. Uh what is it? Subhan Allah. So say subhan Allah and share this ahead. This was the beloved uh sewing machine of uh of Aisha.
Now you know this is the exact kind of uh you know nonsense that we find going on because so many Muslims will now see this and think well you know they will see this and think oh subhan Allah subhanan Allah I mean just use your common sense for a moment [laughter] [gasps] aa you know just look at that screw that you can see in it, you know, the actual just that screw in the center.
I mean, looking at that screw, who do you think made that screw? Your dad. [laughter] I mean, 1400 years ago, was your dad sitting there making screws and screwdrivers? [laughter] But I mean, seriously, this is the kind of stuff that you will get. I mean you will get this. So whereas really you know this is look it's taken from this website stock photos and it even had the logo of that website in the
background. You know if people just did a tiny bit of research and you know when was the first sewing machine even made? [laughter] But the the problem is that people get so oh mashallah. Subhan Allah. Subhan Allah. Say that Aisha's sewing machine right here. Subhan Allah. Let's hang it on the wall.
A picture of it. It's like acha. You know, it's like somebody sending a photo around of a charger. They go, "Mashallah, this was such and such Sahab's charger that we found. Subhan Allah. [laughter] Aacha." and your dad forgot to make the the socket in the wall. [laughter] You know, it's like this is the the dumb level of things being transmitted.
So, this is why we're struggling. Why is it haram if I'm not harming anyone? I'll come to your point. So this first of all we need to grow out of all of this because this is that same logic which is mashallah if God doesn't exist then who took this picture [laughter]
