What this part covers
machinesummary, machine-writtenMufti Abu Layth plays Qadhi's earlier talk calling Gog and Magog the most problematic sign of the Hour and a cause of people leaving Islam. He accuses Qadhi of half truths, such as omitting that the Maliki authorities held the Jesus reports unestablished, and says a Jesus who descends from the sky to chase pigs is a reasonable thing to question.
In more detail
Before beginning his reply Mufti Abu Layth says he will bring someone on board as a tag team, none other than Yasir Qadhi himself, and plays Qadhi's earlier talk on Gog and Magog, in which Qadhi says that for modern times this is perhaps the most problematic sign of the Day of Judgement, that it has caused youth to doubt and that he has met people who left Islam because of such tales, and that he will be honest and frank and tell the whole truth. Mufti notes that Gog and Magog and Jesus are alike signs of the Hour, and says that what he will show are Qadhi's half truths: not lies, but partial disclosure, as when he cites the Maliki dons without mentioning that they held the Jesus hadith not to be conclusively established. Qadhi says people are leaving the faith because such issues are dismissed rather than answered; Mufti agrees that a man descending from the sky before everyone's eyes and then chasing pigs around the globe is a reasonable thing to question, and asks whether such a picture is not disrespectful to the Prophet Jesus and to God. The clip then turns to the Midrash.

in all these books the giants the dawns dawns of the obviously copying me dons of the maliki method have said this how can you even be a maliki how can you claim to be a maliki how can you claim to be a sunni this is not sunni islam this speech of our beloved was nothing short of a jummah [Laughter] him saying that look i'm going to all these people have said all these people
have said said this and we do this is it was so preachy you know claiming i mean beginning by saying that this is going to be so academic so before i even begin my reply right what i have to do is as always people who can i who can i bring on board to assist me with a reply to tag man tag man tag team man tag team oh man oh man rumble people roy rumble none other than the below it
is himself let's bring ya call the on board you want to play this side for a little while so yes you see himself himself man himself man some people are a bit controversial i feel for some people so let me just see this
[Music] all right i'm just trying to where i put this man where i put this clip man the issue of yeah himself take a look at some of his own very recent responses and some you can contrast them when he wishes to disagree with something so the very famous reply let's take a look at that briefly okay so the issue of actually for our modern times i would say one of the most if not the most problematic of the signs of judgment day and it has
caused many of our youth to question to doubt i myself have met people that have actually left islam now note that ya george and matt george and the jesus thing are all to do with the signs of the hour but here yas and khadi sab discussing this topic because of these types of tales and we have to be honest and frank and not pretend as if this doesn't exist perhaps some of you are not accustomed to hearing people speak like this but my philosophy is different
perhaps some of you are not accustomed but speaks the truth truth the whole truth okay the whole truth and this is going to what i'm going to show later on as well are the half truths see what shaykh does is i'm not saying he's not when he's quoting thing he's he's he's he's lying but he does a lot of half truth he doesn't do full disclosure of what he's about to say he'll say the part that shows that but won't give the elaborate like so as an example when he's saying
maliki dones the maliki dawns he doesn't highlight that the maliki dawns like ibn like these people said that all the hadith to do with jesus they're not conclusively established he doesn't quote that part he just quotes the part they them saying okay we believe in it so note the half truth you know the heart rules so we are dealing with the crisis of people leaving our faith our own children our own young men and women and of the reasons why is that we are not answering some of
these issues that they bring and we dismiss them the the midrash so here yaser kadhi has shown that one of the biggest issues why people are leaving islam is because we're not tackling the problems they're having like a problem like for example saying well a man coming down from the sky what kind of and everybody's witnessing that what kind of i mean is this is this something that would happen i mean that that's a very reasonable question i mean just you know and this man coming down being like so wow and then what he does is runs around chases pigs and just wants to kill all the pigs on
the globe i mean has it you know hasn't jesus got a better thing to do i mean you know he's here you know wow god's gonna break the laws of nature send down a man two thousand years later and the man just chases around pigs trying to kill them i mean that that is that not in many ways disrespectful to the prophet jesus and to god to state that but still let's let's pay attention it says that there will be a the midrash says you see note here he's going to go into jewish
scripture that as a part of his thirteen points of al-qaeda so jewish scholars had as part of the iraq either a belief like maimonides and others that they will be a messiah but also a forerunner 11 to the 12 point we're going to believe in the messiah a day will come when the messiah will come it is a part of jewish literature buddhism believe in two types of messiah the minor messiah and the major messiah
