20 Sep 2017Debunking Myths On: Jinns, Magic, the Evil Eye, and Superstitions Are there authentic hadith of the Prophet casting a jinn out of someone? None of the hadith cited for possession is free of criticism; the only sound version, Uthman ibn Abi al-As in Sahih Muslim, mentions no jinn, as al-Nawawi notes, and the 'come out, enemy of Allah' reports are weak. The Prophet, a mercy to mankind, would not have left such a thing untaught.
