no the reason I'm saying that is because I messaged him a little while back to look into something as I was it I was rushing so you know when the blue ticks come up and they completely ignore you anyway so right so alright people Liz aunt Liz I welcome welcome bienvenidos [Music] Massa dolly says you are my friends teacher okay yeah no silent Ibrahim Amir from Leicester you doing it you doing it
now I'm a fun alright Muslim mine people Muslim man this Muslim man is in the house all right Robin bienvenidos bienvenidos some Abbas is saying r.i.p Nipsey Hussle well I'm not I don't really follow too much rap but I was hearing some of the the conspiracy surrounding well he was looking into making a documentary about a particular doctor and he's he's kind of cures to certain diseases and things like this
and then all of a sudden he's dead so what is going on I don't know I mean I think these things can be looked into right please answer my question concerning revelation types by Melissa Ibrahim is saying from Coventry well it's all the same isn't it's all the same let's take commentary well in grief it's not Birmingham so well the rest is I watched your series refuting the
Wahhabi defense the best series yet had to be done people had to be done what can we say what can we say so what's been going on what has been going on today we'll be taking a look at some of the there is a topic I mean I say a a claim which I will be looking into and refuting shortly oh whoa whoa whoa look at that feedback coming back right back at me so let me just bring that right you know when you're trying to just go onto your actual Facebook thing and it's
right there is so so there is an ex-muslim claim that the quran allegedly according to this person permits pedophilia and so he's made a Facebook post about it so I will be responding to that and explaining how that's not true and going through that in some detail but that's a little later on alright so do you live in Island no I don't live in Island live in Birmingham can you do a library tour again in Sharla of course Claro Claro
Claro que si Claro que si right so what is the history of doing treatment for any illness bite us B and Iran right so doing as in treatment see people look there is a hadith although it's critiqued this hadith but if you listen to its meaning its overall meaning resonates within Islam that ma Angela Lauder and Allah WA and allah llahu she fallen now that there are no illnesses
except there are some cues for it that every action has a reaction mixing the medicine with the with the Newtonian physics right so and the hadith goes on to say I leave my home and I'll him Raja HeLa home enjoy that those who know it know it or those who will know it will know it and those who won't want now that is an amazing hadith to really set
as an inspiration to observing the world around you the Quran came as a book of Revelation he did not come as a book of medicine okay it did not come to say well you know all right people you know in nan alikum oh you know it until now aleikum you know this is kita burn fee you know fee and we this and that is all Medi there's all kind of medication and and medicines and things like that in this Allah never said anything like that he does say universe and people sometimes
use this verse that oneness alumina or anima washi feh right now the thing is when we reveal from this Quran what is a Schaeffer but it explains itself she found only Malthus to do that it is a cure for that which affects the hearts as in plagues the hearts this particular verse is speaking about kind of spiritual ailments it's not speaking about an actual disease it doesn't mean like this is a cure for the heart as in if somebody's got cholesterol somebody's having a heart attack and you think like
oh I know the Quran will now cure his cholesterol levels that's how it will not work it's talking about a cure as in a spiritual cure heart here is not the cardiovascular kind of organ it's the spiritual the seat of spirituality that's what it is in that essence so the Quran hasn't come as a book of medicine now people say okay can we take certain kind of barakah blessings from it that's a different discussion I'm not saying you can't use it for rituals and things like that you can and it has you know
from a Muslim perspective it has its blessings and things like this but it is not vitamins it is not some kind of antibiotic it is not an antiviral medicine and it's not to be mistaken as that either so if somebody's got an a medical issue go to a doctor or seek some kind of whatever the actual cure is okay don't just sit around saying well I know let's just read surah bakra or surah yaseen or surah and then the
person just drops dead like oh did I read surah yaseen isn't that the one you read upon the deathbed Oh looks like I accident at least summon the angel of death instead I was supposed to be curing him but I summoned the angel of death so how well yeah yeah ah potato potato of tomato tomato next one
we'll get it right so I'm right so what else is between on people what else is going on right kept pass our people kept pasa what's let me bring up some questions that have already been submitted right so oh by the way this week you know I shared this picture on Facebook I'll show it to you guys it's a picture
of me I wanted have you seen that person around anyway but in the picture I'm holding a particular text manual a 50 textbook as you can see now this was a book I stumbled upon it actually I was doing some I'm in the process of some house cleaning and preparing and whatever some renovation and I stumbled up I was clearing out this these boxes and in there I found this old book and I
had studied this book in maybe 1998 it was when I first set off to study and I went to Damascus it's called a lullaby it's a very popular Hanafy fit book but at that time I was still Hanafy in method and so I studied that book and I still did it twice actually but he just brought back a lot of memories it's from a almost a lifetime ago Wow you know what I think back
but it is some people had had asked me about about that just to say a few words on that as well and I'd like to say that I think sometimes one of the the great things about youth fullness is that with it it brings a kind of an ability to dream okay so you have this kind of this craze that you this ambitious nature and I think that is amazing and that is more
often it's not restricted or exclusive to young people it's not exclusive to them but it's more commonly found amongst young people because I think as you age as a person gets older they start to become set in their ways in life whereas when whilst they're young they're still exploring things they haven't really got a some that kind of stability stability in life that that kind of really cements them so they're still kind of free-spirited in that
sense it's in the words of the poet where he says he says each key part of knocker airily for bobbin voila at the bar opening that don't speak to me about love Holly that kind of trust of the days of youth I can't find that anymore
you know that those days are gone but the point is that with being it's more commonly found amongst young people and I think that is something if capitalized on it can be amazing so and I'm just speaking about like when I set off to study in the 1997 kind of thing and then 98 and going off and traveling and I was very young just turned 18 and I think the whole thing that sometimes I think like if if I try to do it at this stage of life what have
I been able to do it or not I mean I don't I don't know I mean it seems because the kind of sacrifice is the difficulties along the way the challenges it's very daunting as well it can be exciting but it's daunting and I think Wow but my message with that picture was that if people do have some objectives I think they and we should all have some objectives I think they should pursue them they must pursue them people there's a book actually I was speaking to my friends about it this week I just started going up going through it it's
just a it's a nonfiction text I just picked it up it's called the salt path and it's very young I'm only about halfway through it but it's really Wow I've gotta say it script me I if I had it here this is this is you know the gym going wrong when you're like I'll pull the muscle here pull if I had it here I would have shown it to you but it's probably downstairs but it's a very tragic non-fiction story about a couple who really hit rock bottom in life and
that's the backdrop to it that they completely lose everything home become homeless lose their family lose everything well I suppose family home business money and then on top of that the guy he to make matters worse it's like yeah it's like them saying well we've hit rock bottom now nothing can really get it can't get any worse than this and then he's diagnosed with a terminal illness too I mean I'm not laughing but I'm laughing at the kind of that abruptness of saying
it like that so you can imagine it's very whoa that life is absolutely and just shattered to pieces for this couple and what they decide to do is they decide to go on this trail to walk the the south west coast I think beginning from around Devon or somewhere but they go off from south I presume ibly didn't date not presume they were from Wales and they set off and along the way there's all these challenges and the homeless and they've got very little money and the struggles
and it's a very gripping I gotta say I've been actually quite glued to the book I've been kind of like what can visualize it as it's happening I'm going through the trauma as well but my point of saying that was you see in life people need purpose okay forget people creatures need purpose you know you
could people need purpose in life I shared with you guys I think was it a few maybe maybe it was a month or two months back an experiment that there are American I think he was like a social psychologist or somebody like that but : that he had conducted previously on mice and he tried to set up a heaven for them and he called it like a utopia and mice
utopia universe 25 and he sets up this perfect place but eventually to breed as MIT as many mice as he can but there's a capacity anything between six to eight thousand and he starts off with I don't know I think four peers and things like this but they multiply quite rapidly and they become so many they're thriving into there maybe 200 300 and then they stop and they've got everything provided for them you know they've got all the kind of food fresh water fresh food bedding for the mice
they've got plenty of space to play to they can make they can do whatever they like and yet it turns into a living hell the mice after a while they they turn on each other and they they completely lose the plot they the mothers attack their own young they refused to mate amongst themselves and reproduce they kill off each other unnecessarily not over food or anything and it's as really strange as an
observation that what happens to those mice in what was supposed to be a heaven and the interesting thing about this was that that it's as though they know lot it's as though they lost the will to live because they had no purpose and I think that's the interesting the interesting kind of thing so that even it's as though the mice oh you know I'll
be being mice still needed purpose but yes so right all right what else is going on what else is going on people Mufti was Fatima radi allahu on age nine when she married Eileen no she wasn't I think that she I have two narrations generally there are two variations there's the variation that she was around 18 at the time of marriage and there is one trying to push her much younger but she was
around that age presumably around 18 but around that kind of age you have to remember that they weren't the Arabs weren't perfect in keeping calendars but she wasn't a little-little kind of girl or anything like that yeah she definitely wasn't nine that's what I'm saying so there's a difference here Musti what happens if you pluck both wings of a fly this is my disturbed
childhood I mean I don't know what was I like maybe about seven eight I don't know sir but the tiny I was a young boy and you see I was never really afraid of things like I wasn't too afraid of like bumblebees I still ain't those kind of things don't really I mean I don't want to be stung by them but I'm not afraid of them like how people are I on the contrary I hate
things like mice but I'm not afraid of other things like certain other things like these like spiders or stuff like that on but bumblebees as a kid I would just catch him all right bye twink dodging my so he doesn't kind of sting me and then out like drop it in a in this kind of like like a jaw and then I was collecting these bumble bees but then I thought that oh they're gonna fly away this is all for now I pluck the
wings off the bumble bee I'll put in the jar and then I collected a few and I wanted them to kind of like fight each other or something after I was trying to feed them leaves [Laughter] good and then I felt sorry for them so I decided to release them into into my neighbor's garden needless to say the poor things probably just like and they like yeah thanks genius what are we
supposed to do just fly off I mean I was a little boy but that explains that explains why I'm kind of mentally messed up that was the evil me as a kid so God that experiment huh well don't forget - what's that what's that don't forget to answer my whatsapp question all right yep there's a whatsapp question and I remember that I'll check it out I'll
check it out now right so people yep I oppose disturbed childhoods people disturbed that's what happens when you brought up in like a Pakistani household especially it's a kid back then tortured and you're just repeating the cycle of torture you're like well I'm tortured I'll just torture these little those bumble bees will testify against me well they'll
have to kind of they'll have to try and rise above that so what else is going on what else is going on people are saying give me what number please you know I'm not very Swift at dealing with people on what what's up I mean I'm not very Swift in being responsive so I end up and the problem is you know if you like that you're worried that not worried is a strong word well you're kind of you're concerned that people think you're kind of blanking them so because
if you've because these blue ticks that come up and if you're kind of distracted so that's the thing what makes a profit or profit mmm what an interesting question ELISA has the questions I gotta say between a real profit and an impostor claiming to be a prophet Robin is asking are you on Twitter I am but I you know for some reason I stopped being active on Twitter maybe a while back and now actually I should I should
kind of I'm still on Twitter but I hmm I should be more active on it but the problem is you know what happens is that once you're off a particular scene for so long when you go back to it this there's a whole there's a whole fish station this there's a an ocean of haters waiting so what happens is the moment you do something people are like [Music] and Facebook I suppose because I've
always been systematic on Facebook we've kind of drowned out a lot of the haters on Facebook or shall I say blocked them you know my list of blocked people on Facebook I think Facebook must have a separate server just dedicated to me but this is mafia ballades blockly server so on twitter because i don't you know use it so much less so if when I do randomly I've kind of tweeted something and then you get so many thing I can't don't have the energy sometimes to really just go
through them and check but yeah I should really I should I should be more active on Twitter mmm-hmm sorry I just got distracted the multi why do people hate you I don't know isn't that the question how could anybody hate me yes allow your okay our tempo you know in the words of John yeah
he says op op na hobart a hum toh yachty yogurty hum toh he says that this is an amazing poem of his by the way of Joan Elia he says that we that we had a self-sabotaging kind of thing to us like up up nawab our temple like Huaraz dust but we were our own dust like we are like we self-sabotage as well he says yada yada God temple that we
were a remembrance like but we were like not only were we a memory but we were a kind of landmark if you like to be remembered by like something that you something that is not just a memory but like a souvenir almost like that and he says in this poem he says orig are they hand who like Iman in that we float away as though we are like dust like this on
the old purse of art Allah and there's two ways of seeing this this line of his one is that we used to ride storms but one if you put a positive tilt on it then it's like him saying that we will be with floating around like like dust if you like we're being taken away like dust oth out there and we fly away dual key money as though way dust but one way of looking at it is on the upper
savatya that from one perspective we're riding on torrential winds you understand like we are writing these riding the storm like actually writing it like surfing so that's if you put that twist on it it's a slick and then he says hunk o Yaran a yard B not a car that even friends our friends forgot to
remember us that John yard okay our temple hi he says that John we were you know like we like you're like a real like a solid solid guy like if somebody dies like you say a man's mind like he's saying yaar okay you had them you know we were like solid people but this is an amazing one of the amazing poems of John Elia one of my favorite poets but what else is going on
Mufti have you finished your research on no I've just been distracted from that one or either thing right what else let's take a look at some questions right let me before I forget that Shafiq's question from Atlanta let me check it Shafiq from Atlanta u.s.
u.s. people us is saying you call I have a question you call for following the living tradition of Medina what was preserved in a motivated way meaning in a kind of it's it's basically common knowledge way over I had hadith over isolated hadith that makes sense to me but how does a layman who doesn't have access to the rich Arabic texts of Imam Malik discover and learn the living tradition the true
Sunnah of the Prophet right now this is an interesting question you see it is enough that a huge portion of the Sunnah means like the way we live the way we understand practiced Islam to be you have to understand that we don't truly get that from hadith although hadith does embody a huge portion of saamne but we don't learn our Deen by saying let me open this hadith book oh okay is that what I'm supposed
to do we actually learn our Deen either it's just taught to us or we learning as thick through thick books that books the awkwardness in trying to say that I ended up saying books with off books thick books now the is that a police badge no no no no does it look like a no no that's a feather it's a kind of design on my top it's not a right so the
the point of what I'm saying is these are like thick books that you can see here like how you practice Islam from how you purify to how you pray to how you fast to how you do these things that is already kind of documented and you've got plenty you've got the diversity that already exists as math apps that is fine that pretty much does encapsulate the Sunnah or a huge portion of it okay all right so have you ever written poetry
waha what a question you know this one time I wrote some poetry I'm trying to remember it now I wrote it years ago I can't really remember my I've written it's somewhere written somewhere maybe in in some of my notes or something I don't know if they'll come up on these notes actually it's a good point let me check I don't think I've synced it but I think I was going through a an interesting time no it's
not synced here right but I did write some poems only a few want of two or maybe three at most I think I only wrote down probably about two of them I ended it I remember the last date the last line it was it was harlot savage anger
Moscow toes ah ha ha it was that things will all be okay smile a little that harlot savage angee Moscato Zahra musty Mary John Q das what I say was that move T my love my my my dear that it doesn't sound as good I suppose as well in English like that but mostly Mary John Q das what I that why why do you let these things bother you
Mufti so it was wrote that many years back actually is part of a long poem probably about five years back now but I'll have to dig it out someday now yes so this coming to this returning to this question about it is really enough for you as a you're saying the common Muslim he can just learn fear can get by but then we have a challenge the problem is a lot of this
fear can be out of sync for our day and age so what do we do about that and that is a problem here we have a Fick drought but we do here it is a problem and and this is where we are all kind of stuck we're we're hitting our heads against a brick wall saying well what what do we do at this stage and this is where there is a call to bring into sync the Fatah WA the FERC this is where we need more of these rulings these kind of contemporary
rulings I had today check this out well discuss this I mean it's anonymous still I mean it's sanitized if you like names all removed I had a discussion today somebody gave me a call a respected friend now he gave me a call and he was having a discussion amongst certain people and I've discussed this topic before and the topic was marital rape within Islam now this person was I don't know having a discussion with somebody and that person the other
person not my friend but the other person felt that in Islam that felt that legalities aside that okay might be legal legal whatever depending on whatever part of the world you're in legalities aside but religiously there was no problem in marital rape so this person decided to give me a call and said well look here we are we're having this discussion I'd like your understanding what do you believe and would you mind sharing a few words on this so so I did and I said that this is categorically Haram I did bring to their
attention that look I actually have a segment dedicated to this on YouTube were break down the entire hadith and I show how the hadeeth are problematic there are no authentic hadith in this that can support such a heinous notion and I and I explained in much more detail however I'll give you guys an overview and I explained that look this is Haram and you can't do things like this and and then we got into a the other person got into a bit of a a dialogue with me a brief dialogue and he said well look I
you know with all due respect and those are the best ones because you know and it's with all due respect that means okay this is with no respect now I'm just joking I'm sure he may have respected me but usually when people say right with all due respect that's usually when they're about to completely deceit so he said look I this afternoon spoke to a a musty
Yura Mufti I is right we got oh yeah woof so he said you're a Mufti but I spoke to a Mufti this afternoon who said look marital rape is not a sin that person said so so this Mufti whoever he is he didn't tell me if the most he was I said I would love to have a dialogue with this Mufti if I could because you know this is the the problem this is the the goddamn problem of what we are
suffering from because it is people that don't recognize that certain things are so out of date that they are simply just regurgitating like maybe evil for tower based on not based on pure or an wasana but just based on the mindset of the age which was just patriarchal so I said well that's ridiculous of course it's Haram and was that well you know can you quote me a single
hadith to say that it is Haram I said I can do much better than that I'll quote you the Quran I said let's begin with the Quran where Allah says were are she Runa Bill Maher oof that you live with them that you are sure is to live together as in cohabit with them with kindness that's a command so are you suggesting that what like rape is it fits into how
does it fit into that and the quizzes it no I said I know carry on voilá mithril Allah the Ilah Hinna bill models that they have rights you have rights as a person they have rights I said Allah says in surah qamar' wolfie notice Ariane BSN now you either live together in kindness oh you part ways harmoniously gracefully this is a verse of the Quran la gravity there is no compulsion in Islam now and this went a bit back and forth and person said well
look you know the person you know the mufti said to me that you know this is in Islam and it's okay it's not a sin I said look first of all that I know he goes you don't know what the person is basing his ruling I said I do the person is basing is ruling on a hadith that is transmitted in Bihari in Muslim in Dar me now this hadith I said I've actually completely dissected this it's already on YouTube but it mainly rests on two problematic narrators on kitada and on alarm OSH both are massively problematic
these were narrators who used to black at times that some of the things they would put they would kind of mislead people in having chains like pretending that they've heard something from somebody when it's just hearsay they haven't actually heard it directly so Qatada for example he transmits Abu Dawood said that he transmitted from 30 people at least this is from many but at least 30 people who had never actually directly ever heard anything from but he pretended he'd heard from them directly
at least 30 people and with alarm OSH at least 20 people from one of those 20 over a hundred hadith he he pretends he's heard from him from him but he hasn't now I said look these hadith and even like look this hadith it's a very famous one that oh if the husband calls the wife too to bed and she doesn't come then the Angels curse her till morning this is a false hadith but even if you took that hadith you try to no I'm gonna
believe in this and take this literally I think first of all it's utterly disappointing that you're doing that but even if you did I want to highlight something we're in the hadith did does it say that you could forcefully have sex where does it say that it doesn't even the evidence that you're trying to use which really is a false hadith but even though you're trying to use it where does it say that that's that that's okay so it's amazing that and this the kind of mind and I said to this person the person said to me look you
know there's certain things that people do and he's part of life like certain relationships and things like you trying to intimacy and I said well look here's a I said here's a an analogy I said look you eat food don't you I said if somebody was to shove food down not to misunderstand my analogy here but I said if somebody was to just open your mouth and show food in right right is it what is that it would would you be okay with this just because well hey well you eat anyway so how about you
open that mouth and just force-feed you because you eat anyway isn't it so wouldn't you consider that harm wouldn't you consider that Haram wouldn't you consider and the person said well you know the person said well if a person's ill you gotta feed them anyway and I was like with this analogy going I'll say were you going somewhere with that analogy it's like huh if a person's ill
you've got to feed them anyway where are we now so yeah so it's uh it's really disappointing actually and it was interesting because I said to the person and I don't like to look I don't know the person but and I said to the person and I don't and I don't like to personalize things with people but sometimes you know you you you mentioned something as an example just to make it [Music] kind of resonate so I said I said look I don't know who you are I don't know for
example whether you have children or not but let's just say if hypothetically it was your own daughter would you be okay with somebody forcefully raping her like that and he said well look he said look you're using words like that but I would say if it's not a sin then you know I if it's not a sin then and then okay um well I I was shocked and I said well I think you have a base Mele failed as a
father then and and he said well you know I think and I said and I'm disappointed that you would say that being a father and he said well I think you failed as a Mufti I don't know what the hell that comparison was and I said well I'd rather failed a hundred times as a Mufti then fail as a father in being content with what rape of my own daughter what kind of a I said that is the you stupid as low as anybody could possibly stoop
so I said I'd happily fail as a Mufti rather than fail as a father so but this mindset is the problem okay this mindset is the issue that for some reason people feel that look they the kind of regurgitating things and I said look and I made this clear I said rook whatever you do people in relationships there's ups downs people have incentives motivations you know they try to keep a relationship going they might
emotionally blackmail each other in relationships you know people might refuse to give each other the cold shoulder or not talk to each other or but and people will do all kinds of things and that's their business right that's their business it's their relationship however the problem is that blackmailing somebody by using God by using Allah and His Messenger that's the problem see this mindset needs to change that if you are going to be let's say low that you're going to emotionally
blackmail someone firstly if that's the situation then you shouldn't be in that relationship anyway but let's say you're gonna stoop that low to do something like that you shouldn't be using God to just a fight okay you shouldn't be kind of saying well using the messenger of allah to blackmail some so that's I feel a personally I feel it's a betrayal to Islam so that's that's my thoughts on that and somebody's asking is wearing chain or
ring other than silver permissible right yes so wearing jewelry I take here talking about for men it is permissible and I've got a whole detailed segment explaining that there was a huge difference of opinion spanning about between eight to nine different opinions that the selleth the Salaf beginning with the Companions of the Prophet right down to her brain and it's about her bang had about men wearing things like silk or gold right - there was a group of them who felt it
was absolutely fine and apolitical ie comments on at least he brings the hadith demonstrating certain companions died much after the Prophet wearing gold so and he says that there were at least five companions who died wearing gold like gold rings gold on gold kind of jewelry for men so he says that this goes to show that there was never a consensus that gold was haram for men now that said the majority the Muslims do feel gold is haram for men so I would I would advise to kind of keep that
culture in mind but I don't personally feel that gold is Haram and I've gone through that as well in more detail in a clip previously mostly can I ask you some questions about really controversial topics do i do anything below controversy was there a Sahabi with a golden nose yes there was a companion you used to have a golden his nose was cut off and then he took a kind of golden nose sounds really strange today but I guess
you know I guess status status gold but so he so it goes to show but I had this companions actions are really interesting one is okay gold the usage of gold but the other thing is that you see having a golden nose serves nothing but aesthetic functions because having some metal on your face serves no other function other than aesthetics just trying to look and good so based on that
it demonstrates that well you know all these people that keep saying things like anytime somebody does something or changing the creation of a law you're right that's not actually true because why is this companion walking around with a golden nose because isn't he changing the creation of a law because now that he doesn't have a nose he should just go around noseless but he doesn't because he knows that that's not aesthetically okay for him like he's not comfortable with that
so Mufti what is offensive jihad right okay so this the golden nose to become very rich with sin move to keep us in your doors Yusef happy arise is that all right people use of the happy he share people share use of lobbies in the house awesome person keep in touch reach out to him very down-to-earth and between the Midlands in London he's so he's
usually traveling around a bit a great guy yes up sure you doing it you're doing it right so Chaudry awesome on asked a question about concubines are you not in that you know what is the this kind of talk really excites people doesn't it Oh cookie I mean these are like what
they call like-for-like these are just like dry little buzzes that people have and they call them like okay just gay there's nothing they're not gonna really get anything out of these Oh mines concubines right so but I'll come to that question there was what was the other question I am NOT excited brough I am confused have you been taken as a conqueror
God for huh I'm what I'm the concubine that sounds rather exotic what exactly is one of them just the name to sound so concubine it just sounds so kind of like one of them right so right so what else people what else I was about to answer a question I've forgotten the question Oh got distracted there was a question
there and coloring beard and here with black color right yep that's absolutely permitted in fact one of them I'm Alex teachers even a Shahab zouri who's one of the first people to have a document hadith was known about him that he would die his beard died his beard black and presumably is he but he and he had that for so long like and imam malik often thought he was very young this is what some people say but he wasn't as young as people thought but
that's because he had died that's what some people I've heard some people say about even a Shabbos already but the point is that it is permissible it is permissible in the Maliki school it is permissible according to some of the Hanafi a that you generally there's there's nothing wrong about it's not haram but that said I think they'll be an age where people would just look silly if they check blackhead you know they like eight years old then I think you know by that stage they should just
go gray fox you know what I'm saying now what is the rationale for the prohibition of homosexual activity in your religion war is the rationale for all right where's that question gone Oh rational awful right homosexual activity what is that like like camp behavior almost sexual know that I've explained this in a lot of detail previously that look they have been there's a difference of opinion as well believe it or not
even in this because what does homosexual activity mean and I think really this comes back to me earlier on when I was speaking about the FIP texts and I was saying that they are out of sync you have to see that thick does capture a lot of Sun a buddy you know on the same kind of token what it does is it it's a lot of opinion as well because there's contemporary issues of their age that they're responding to so Islam in my understanding didn't really address
homosexuality so clearly I think what Islam did is it just focused on family and it it understood that for a society to be built upon a strong foundation for it to kind of set out a trajectory for a civilization we need healthy family units okay so we need kind of households with healthy families with kind of and buy healthy I don't just mean physically healthy but mentally and they have stability that kind of you know that they are kind
of grounded so what Islam did was it kind of to do that it needed people to take up to shoulder the responsibility of a relationship but as men often would rather just chill and rather not kind of shoulder responsibilities so it outlawed any sexual activity and less through marriage now this is as a main understanding a mainstream I'm not saying I'm trying to kind of it is a bit
simplified it is a bit simplistic but it's too gay so you can get the gist of it now by doing so as a byproduct they outlawed things like homosexuality so homosexuality became outlawed as a byproduct the main thing what Islam was trying to do was set up a family unit that's in my understanding because there are no clear hadith to do with homosexuality at all that asahi Ansari and I've been through some of them in the past so that that's what I think then I think the other issue so that's one layer the other layer was the other
layer was the Muslim attitude or them.this the attitude of Muslim scholarship towards towards anal sex this became a I think this became another I don't know if I could say a spanner in the works or a pain-in-the-butt shallow right it became another problem a problem the Sun so what happened is a lot of the Olimar out started to declare that Haram as well by declaring that her arm
they were homosexual relationships especially male homosexual relationships were deemed kind of well they they've gone anyway then so but that said not everybody considered anal sex Haram I mean many in fact some of the transmissions from Imam Malik were that it wasn't many of the Maliki argued for his permissibility the Shia argued that for his for me but it wasn't that they were arguing for dist anal sex but they were saying that look any sexual practice between can between a
couple is their business as Imam Aleks teacher said he said that when people are behind closed doors it's their business it's nobody else's business so they had that kind of approach so there was a diversity as well but people tried to silence and this diversity so that's the second layer of the kind of problems that many scholars because they then outlawed things like anal sex and stuff like that it by extension further distanced the legitimacy and
permissibility of homosexuality the third layer is and I think this one was utterly cruel is gonna be honest was hermaphrodites okay which in the Arabic language and in the Sharia were referred to will refer to as Hansa so in arabic you have the term Hansa now alpha is a sometimes they called hamish kill right but confer is in arabic a a hermaphrodite so it's a person either a
mmm I mean I suppose in some ways may be like like transgender to some extent but there were people that were usually it was biological so it wasn't kind of usually done by choice in the past it was more biological so it could have been somebody born with both genitals it could have means somebody born with neither as in proportionately or accurately as in their genitals were just completely distorted or it could have been somebody who was kind of in-between so maybe he had mail that you know yet he had the mail private parts but
however he developed as a woman so he started to develop breasts and things like this later on in life and so or vice versa I could have been you know Oh apparently a girl but as she started to age and go through puberty she started to develop like a boy try to you know maybe add an Adam's apple and voice and beard and things like this so these people are called Kwanzaa in Arabic okay now the they think that common nowadays because I think nowadays there's a lot
of medication to kind of to deal with these situations so they will either tried do that at a young age all as they hit puberty they will then do correction they will correct the procedure so if let's say for example this person was like a boy but then kind of grew into a woman so as he went through puberty he developed breasts and didn't have an Adam's apple and he felt like a woman and except he had a penis in that case
the doctors or the medical procedure would correct that and likewise with the opposite so I think today it isn't really that common but in the past these things were very common and you had then eunuchs as well so in the past people sometimes castrated you know you know it's like when you mentioned every guy in the room will just be like just the thought of it isn't it's like everybody's like they're like wait just kill me instead just get it over and
done with you know what why don't you take the blade a bit higher and just go there damn right so so there were people that were castrated and I think what actually boomed that market right what really boosted that market was that a lot of royalty and the aristocracy felt comfortable and were really had a demand for eunuchs because what they felt was the eunuch didn't have a penis
and therefore he couldn't screw their women but on the bright side he was still a man so he was as strong as a man so he could still do the work like a man like he could get stuff done and carry things and do all this and so there was a huge kind of seems to be a rise in the number of eunuchs as well but my point of saying this was the scholars of the past very clearly write very clearly that al Hansa latin key well a tonka that a hunter cannot do any car and
cannot have any car done to them they cannot partake in the car and I think that seriously is just outright them that is utter them that so I'm not and the whole table wasn't necessarily just the eunuch say I mean it was initially and it generally was hermaphrodites now but they just said no because why you just because they didn't know how to
answer the question because some of them would have been like women except they just had a penis so in that case if they did get married the sexual intercourse would have been I suppose unless I'm unless they were the driving force in the relationship well it would have been and it would have been an anal relationship they would have been like listen don't be so anal about the
but the point is that because the scholars didn't want to deal with the situation they just out just said that at once I can never get married that was the that was the Islamic solution which is ridiculous is absurd so that goes to show that's a perfect case study to show the failing of scholarship in a particular era that day that the scholars failed in
providing a truly Islamic answer to the challenge so that's so that's I think these layers when you look at them it demonstrates hmm so there's been these issues right so I hope that you know I mean the somebody said I mean the Ottomans weren't Calif did all the scholars say that yeah unfortunately yet I mean I'll I'll still continue my research I've not so extensively researched on Thurs hermaphrodite but
wherever I have read about them in the fake books throughout the years they've always just said Latin Carol a tonka cannot marry and nobody can marry it and I think that's so cruel but what was interesting and I shared this story once before ages ago is you see called the evocative norepi you know the Maliki legend from Muslim Spain now he speaks about UC because what's interesting is in the past it seems to be wherever people were kind of stuck they found a
loophole if you like with servants and this is I mean it's like it's like it's just another layer of drama isn't it so it's like somebody had asked before what was their attitude towards homosexuality so what they would do is they'd would just if they were feeling bisexual or homosexual or bisexual then if they didn't have an apparent outlet they would just do that with their servants and slaves and the same thing here with hunters presumably hunters would then
just settle with servants and slaves and things like that if they could afford them now all the evocative Nairobi who is a legend of Muslim Spain from about 900 years ago he writes in some of his journals that when he traveled to the east in his time so he bumps into Yamahas early and he studies with him on gazelle he studies with him in the desert so he one of his his kind of recollections he writes that I remember they used to be this guy that used to turn up to class and so remember their intense they're out in the the
kind of desert wilderness if you like so then there are any people out there and so they they and they would turn up to class and it's just you know very there ain't many facilities there ain't many things but there one of the students was this Kwanza he was a guy so even our OB writes about him the Maliki scholar and the judge and he says this guy used to turn up he said he had a big beard right and like he was apparently like a man but he said at the same time he had like till I
get big breasts so this guy would turn over here big breasts sorry breasts big breasts no that's called the hey copy evocative LRV what kind of thoughts are you putting in my mouth Bobby where are you I'm gonna have to burn these books now so right so call do what Knievel are we say is that he says he would turn up to class and he
used to have these two kind of servant girls with him all the time so they used to turn up as well he says I used to think to myself does he get it on with them so what kind of a lot of me is writing this in his in his in his books and he says I used to think to myself does he get it on like is he more like a mind or is he like a woman hmm and you see and he says I wanted to go and ask him I wanted to kind of
muster the courage and turn up and ask him that look listen do you mind a woman and he says but I never got to and when he's writing this journal see the awesome thing about what kind of RBC's he kind of slides his journal into all his works his commentaries on hadith and things like this like in his masala khorinis adi that'll our these commentary on tell me the year the Mokpo or things like this now he says that and when I'm writing this it's been ten
years now but ten years ago this was and he says oh I think longer than ten years actually but he says that he's writing this years later and he says that it still it still beats him this thing does that was the was the guy getting it on or not was it was he a man really a woman what was and he says even now I wish I just asked him so you know whenever you're bothered with some thoughts on a strange day you wanna
honor on a depressed day or when you're really struggle struggling with some challenges and your mind is is weighing down on you remember that there was a copy out there who was weighed down with greater problems than yours [Laughter] somebody said Daniel Steve said is a cheating it's just basically a handshake Daniel
still you hand-to-hand combat right is it cheating well it well it depends whose hand it is because if it's just somebody else's hand and they're just sitting there they don't even realize they're like okay can I have my hand back now please that way you can definitely be cheating so-and-so that's right
people let's focus let's focus let's focus focus focus let's take some questions let's take some questions haha Daniel Steve saying eyes joking [Laughter] that reminds me of that joke in since this is past the watershed and it's live and unrestricted you know there's a meme where there's a doctor he's doing a check-up with them with some guy and he
says he says you know during a check-up it's all right he says it's all right if you get an erection and the patient says but I haven't got one the doctor says no I wasn't talking about you all right okay all right focus focus focus focus let's turn to finishing some of these questions because we're gonna be getting to to distract a did all this on
so what is bothering the minds of people oh alright so let's try to go through some of these rapid round and get these out the way why is this closing on me hmm all right here we are people let's do some rapid round I have you ever read any book authored by earth
man dan Foley oh yeah in the past I think I have read extracts or is this isn't there one about each model Bidar something against innovations and things like that I think unless I'm mixing it up but a long time ago actually right so what else is going on Asad Ali said don't skip my question what makes a prophet a prophet up or Neysa sorry I didn't answer your question quite simply put a prophet is somebody who is inspired or sorry receives revelation
from God now how is that what is in what form does that come to him or her because prophets will women as well now that would have been whether it was just by divine intuition or how was it I mean there's that we can't really say but they are people who have this receive revelation from God that is the definition of a prophet what makes them how do you differentiate them between how do you differentiate between them and a false prophet well it depends on what they're calling to we'll probably
that will probably give you the answer so you will see that prophets always just prioritized a single focus and that was simply reconnecting nation with a creator that was this simple mission really right so okay somebody is asking questions who did care about my how he azar me and who right I really don't want to speak about all of that right there was actually
that reminds me you know a few weeks ago somebody had been making some Facebook posts saying mafia bull 8th is about to debate no not about to he is debating he's debating is it Ally re a Shia Imam and this debate has been set up and I'm looking forward to watching it and somebody and somebody else was saying it on Facebook and then some people message me and so I had no idea until they shared the Facebook posts with me so that's not true I'm not really into this
whole sunni-shia kind of debates I think maybe a few years ago I may have unfortunately thought like that but I definitely don't think like that now and I wouldn't really be interested in anything like that because I personally believe that the Shia Sunni split is there for good and it's not something that's never gonna go away now the issue is really as far as I'm concerned about building bridges and not about kind of just attacking and doing things like that but I don't see no push I'm personal i sorry I don't personally
see any benefit in things like that so that's my that's my personal approach I do disagree as a person look I'm a some nice I do disagree with the Shia way of looking at things on certain things on certain things on others I can see their point of view I think that they and but that said I'm sure we disagree with even Sunnis on any things you know it's not a homogeny it's not a kind of monolithic voice
the SUNY voice is not a monolithic voice and neither is the Shia voice a monolithic voice in my understanding these differences are political the historical and they can't be changed because they're speaking about events that have already occurred so people are who they are I was asked actually by somebody who said you know that they support my work they're a great fan they're very of the kind of stuff I do and they you know they seem to really respect me and love me and they were a group this was a particular I was contacted by these
people who represented a group they were shy Americans and they asked me one of the people are one of these guys asked me that on a serious note why are you would you not be a Shia like why would I not be a Shia and if I could just be real with them and just give them my aunts and I did and I said that was my answer I don't you know I find the Shia thing personally in you see it's it's interesting because I find from one side she Shia can be very rational very rational on from one side from one kind of angle but then I find that they can
be very emotionally irrational so you know that they have so some of they fake and fatah wa is really current it's up to date it's kind of really so you see all of that and you think that that's doing it and then on the other hand you know they have a lot of folklore they have a lot of like aspects like we believe this about imams that about amount it doesn't matter it doesn't have to be rational it can be it's just very emotional and me I'm a very kind of Reason pure reason based kind of person
that said even many of the Sunnis have like that kind of inconsistency about them you know many of the Sun needs to will sometimes have these contradictions so I think it is what it is right but I would like to focus on building bridges if I have a matter if there's a shower friend and let's say we have an issue which we disagree on like let's say malaria or the alarm I just wouldn't speak about that issue then and to me I feel that look who can really say in all honesty who was more
beloved to Allah in terms of from the caliphs you know was a worker better than Ali was Ali better I think these things you know it's it's all gone now anyway like these people have come they've passed they've you know they were all great people and it's if one was better than the other the other was better than the other I mean to me it's like it doesn't really make much of a difference to me sure so okay that's my approach obviously other people are quite fanatic about the whole she has some anything but I don't agree with being fanatic
about that did you move see did you watch cricket I don't actually watch Creeky Imran Khan says Musti mallanna Ilyas Qadri listed 92 etiquettes of east india that's like it's thing that means wiping your behind washing you behind after you finished is thing 92
etiquettes the angle stalk Oh Wild Eagle its Falcon strikes down who is the lotta water fool strike back like a hole cutter who raise one leg twist the foot all right so I think I
don't know what on earth a person is doing with 92 etiquettes of just washing your mind no people just have time on their hands isn't the whole thing usually it's just people are just like on their phones they like damn has it been an hour already let's get the hell up quick who is the where's the bday wash and now will you debate a sera sera my beloved I
will any day debate my beloved but with those conditions that it must be a conversation as in it must be a dialogue see that's my simple conditions two things that these whenever we speak it must be a dialogue ok I'm not into this you know you speak 3 minutes I speak three minutes no I want to dialogue a dialogue you know let's talk you know let's start how are you preparing for
Ramadan quite how am i preparing mmm quite poorly I don't know I don't know I mean let's see let's see how how this Asad Ali replying to Latin it a lie right Asad Ali come on behave why are you cursing me all right look guys please no cursing anybody on on this if you do the admin are gonna
block you right now no I don't want anybody cursing she are now or don't want the Shia cursing Sunni kind of figures or anything like this none guys just chill out man honestly what is this Lanice to lie god send down the ladder on him you know it's so funny isn't it Lana thoughtless like you're asking God to send the curse it's like God's got nothing better to do than to on say you're right and who would you like me
to send the curses upon now God send the curses upon him who's living right right in that house send the same the arrogance it's it's it's shocking and it just goes to show how backwards we are as a Muslim community seriously oh they're smart brother Tyler I love you - I love you - yeah I love you too so right so guys okay look we are bloody
hell is that the time okay I tell you what before we let's take a look at that question and then we'll take a few others as well somebody's asked about the talking ant in the Quran I have discussed that in a lot of detail I've got a whole clip on it somebody said the hadith about the Mahdi the hadith is is is a week of these there's no sorry idea at all to do with the Mahdi as far as and I'm speaking as a Sunni here right
so cool now I will I will there sorry do you see Gangu Teli used to do that a boule you know I believe I said live right let's take a look at we'll take a look at this verse and this ex Muslims claim and then what we'll do is oh sorry see I guess so distract my thoughts are all over the place people with some look at this the ant right the ant I've
covered that in a lot of detail just search search on YouTube I've got a segment speaking about that yes Solomon Ali Salaam is saying that look he is he sees this ant warning of the ants the question is how does he see this because he's coming the whole army with the chariots and everything is coming and way ahead there's an ant yeah so the ant is
warning other ants to kind of move out of the way of danger this is what the ants and creatures do that creatures do have kind of cries for danger and whatever they kind of communication is the question is Solomon Ali's lamb sees this how does he see this there's two options one option one is he actually physically sees this the problem with this is we have that same thing if you watch my clip about Solomon and the Queen of Sheba and the throne of the Queen of Sheba I speak about how do we approach stories in the Quran do we approach them just as stories in that case it makes no difference this is just
a story or do we think this is real if it's real we zoom in when we zoom in the problem is that everything still has to hold it can't fall apart so if you say Solomon Ali Salaam just know he just saw him he just saw the end but he's very far away he's on a chariot he's coming there's a whole army coming now it's not it wouldn't physically be possible for him to see an ant speaking that wouldn't physically be possible okay unless you're saying oh no this was a separate
miracle that he was zooming in with his vision okay so you think well okay so this is so now he zooms in with his vision when he likes is this how this works then Suleiman I leave Salaam whenever he wants he just zooms in with vision because that's not mentioned anyway in the Quran that Solomon ELISA Lam had zooming in vision right soap this story as you zoom in it has a lot of problems to it if you take it like that the other aspect like I said there's two ways to understand it the
other aspect is he does see this but he's shown this as a vision like he does see this like he's shown that he sees a vision like an ant warning other ants and this reminds him that look your Dominion as King Solomon is one of the mightiest and most powerful domains on on earth in his time it was and he was one of the most wealthiest kingdoms on earth during the reign of King Solomon yet such a low level a creature is
looking out for his fellow creatures you have an even greater duty to look out for those who you are answerable all are connected to as a king over them and hence he says rugby rozina and ascore he says this is after he sees this is in the same verse following on he says o Allah inspire me to be more grateful that's his actual words isn't in the Quran so that sounds more realistic that he was shown this as a vision that they
may have been ants doing this but what he's shown what he sees is a vision not he's not like riding and then zooming in and says well I've zoomed in and I can see an ant talking and oh I've understood what the ant has said right the ants talking and I'm understanding that that doesn't when you zoom in it doesn't make as much sense so that's the thing the the stories of the Quran when you zoom in they have to still make as much sense for us when you zoom out okay
Musti I want to send you my brand t-shirt would you wear it well make it a muscle fit t-shirt and right so right so I hope that makes some sense now somebody has said let's take a look at this this Abdullah Samir I'm just trying to bring this up here as well now Abdullah Samir who is an ex-muslim
now he has a Facebook post about I mean somebody brought it to my attention so I saw it about the Quran allows pedophilia and then he's quoting a verse in the Quran and he's quoting a lot of commentators so I'd like to respond to this now first of all I would like to say I do from there's several X Muslims and they do seem to be growing in number and I personally don't have a problem with people if they want to leave the faith that's entirely up to them
it doesn't bother me I'm not insecure about Islam in any way if people want to be Muslim great that's great I'm the life they don't want to be Muslim fine you know to me I'm to Islam it doesn't actually bother Islam and contrary to popular opinion the Quran really the attitude of the Quran is one of ambivalence it doesn't really care although people act like oh my god kill the apostate kill the apostate that's all nonsense it's a tragedy in Islam that we you know I'll assume neither Sony had the
scholars and giants and legends of hadith took had a soft spot in their hearts when he came to the Huaraz you know the extremist hateful butch of this early OMA those the the kind of fathers of Isis who known as the Huaraz they hated the companion considered mostly companions to be Co far disbelievers and they are the people who eventually martyred said Ali Road
Ilan and they tried to kill cinema or the alarm they tried to kill I'm ignore us or the Ilan they didn't manage to kill them successfully but they killed other people and they butchered they were ruthless the Hawara CH they would the first major internal threat that Islam faced now the tragedy is that Sony had the Giants and legends seem to have had a I don't know why but a soft spot
in the heart when it came to the Huaraz like they seem to accept this stuff and they seem to say oh yeah but they're okay but you see that this is interesting but if it was a Shia a lot of the times they wouldn't they be very vocal against the Shia later on or they're very vocal against the martyrs illa or they're very vocal against people who said the Quran was created for example but when he came to the Hawara Jew considered it okay to shed blood and kill people and do all of this they seem to be kind of like mmm like [Music]
he's a good guy but I'm serious like a comma a comma is a Huaraz from the Hajj and he transmits this hadith that whosoever is the sole transmitter of this hadith in bihari that whosoever changes his religion kill him I mean tell me something if Isis said that if Isis said oh he is a teaching to do with killing would you take it from them now here is a transmitter who is
known Imam Malik this was the reason if I'm a leader like jarama and he didn't like the fact that people took from him and he said and even though my another companion openly didn't they spoke against this person that he was bloodthirsty that he was one of them and he wasn't just saying normally he was like a lead here he had a position amongst the haulage but anyway and he transmits check this out and they used to hate Ally or the line he says I li burnt people to death because they changed their religion and
we're gonna take his word for it but anyway so so that's that's on us as Muslims we've we've kind of slipped up on that but anyway I wanted to say that look optimist I mean I was before I guess I have sidetrack too much I actually think I do feel he's genuine I do have respect for him like that because I feel that look if people are genuine in this search then let them let them search wherever that search takes them if they're genuine in their think some people sometimes you come across
them X Muslims they can be very kind of vile very toxic very kind of a bitter hateful spiteful vindictive towards Islam any opportunity they get they hate hate hate hate and always a straw man effect and stuff like this they do a lot of that and I do and there are Lorex Muslims and but I'm just saying the vibe I get generally and I don't I haven't don't follow him that closely but the vibe I get whenever I do see some posts from Abdullah Samir are usually that he's trying to be feared
this is what I I feel usually now so okay so he's put this post so the reason why am I saying this is I'm against any like I want to respond to this I want to show that that's not true the Quran does not permit pedophilia and I will show that in a moment but I want to also highlight this is not about like what I don't want to see is people attacking him as a person attack the argument but not the person okay so that's really important and that is from the adapt that is from the
the character of the Prophet as well you know that this if you if we claim to be Muslim then we ought to be showing a good example you know we if we we are saying that the Messenger of Allah was rahmatan lil odd I mean he was a paragon of mercy for the whole world then we ought to be demonstrating that the onus is on us not on non-muslims to prove that we ought to be championing that kind of behavior so okay now right so this is the verse of
the Quran so we've got surah Tauba lakh which is in the 28 Jews now it begins bismillah r-rahman r-rahim yeah you're gonna be you is that the lock to Manisa okay so it's speaking it's addressing the Prophet but by extension people that when you divorce women for palakollu nelly additi in the divorce them for the aid that in line with an it is a kind of it's a post marital cycle so it's like a
so it's usually it can be one menstrual cycle two three menstrual cycles it's a certain period of time ranging from one month to three months in which usually it was to see if the if the woman was still pregnant if she was then this and certain rites and these kind of things especially as you can imagine it was like a system set up for that there were other many other wisdoms to it as well ooh it also prevented a lot of suspicion it prevented a lot of social unrest because sometimes when relationships broke up people would feel that oh you know was so in so trying to have an
affair with with my wife or is she like this and and sometimes when people divorce when they if they immediately remarried it may have led to some kind of fight and things like this in the past I mean even now but especially in in that kind of a society of warrior society so there was an ADA that was placed there that had many social benefits in addition to it allowed to verify whether there was a pregnancy or not and stuff like this so okay so Allah mentions that if that give that the lock for the ADA right and then
this verse goes on now right we move on to it's speaking about their ID they're so sorry just to explain Allah says well I Salida and take the idea into consideration enumerate as in keep measure it like be precise with as precise as possible with the idea now and then Allah mentions laterally juhu numbing beauty in now Ilana that but let they are entitled to lodging they entitled to live in that house as long as they have their in there so imagine a
relationship was over now so the let's say it's over now so the woman who's gonna move on but she doesn't have to get up and leave straight away she's entitled to stay just saw her stuff out at least during the ADA now and if and they will go on and speak about well what if she was pregnant but so it's trying to say that you let off rejuven numbing be you to don't don't throw them out of the homes okay let them stay there and then it mentions if there's certain other issues fight their beloved Nigella whenever I'm sick on but when they reach the time that the ADA has
finished for MC gone either reconcile be my roof with kindness over it wanna be my roof I'll leave them separate with kindness this is the verse of the Quran right well as she do the way I deliver income but get witnesses as well that you have decided to separate or you've decided to reconcile let people be witnesses to this just in case you just in case there's some later on people don't know I mean why you guys still together we separate let there be some witnesses right well Optimus Shahada let it be
like clear testimony as well welcome you are to be God is advising you admonishing you to do that okay Montana your men will be level your meal arkad but that if you believe in God you will do that you'll either at that time is our beloved Nigel I'll not keep them with kindness be my roof oh sorry for now be my roof or let them go with kindness and you will have you will set up witnesses at least to the way Adaline who can testify that this is the decision that you guys have arrived at and now you can go and one of the wisdoms with there in there and Allah saying let to hurry to
Hoonah in beauty do not send them out of the homes is that sometimes in a in a power of rage or something anger or misunderstanding people could be upset that they want to end the relationship but you see when when you live like isolated lives but you're still there the woman is still there the husband is still there but they're living their own lives during the ADA now it's been a few weeks it's been maybe a month it's been you see like people kind of calm down and then when they're seeing the other person as well the proper singing damn you know
maybe I miss her or I miss him or I miss and he allows that opportunity to reconcile so then Allah says and after that is that verse which I just read that look when the time comes that it does finish make up your mind then or you because don't let it go on do you want to reconcile not or set about witnesses okay and then sometimes it can be when a relationship ends it can be quite daunting on a person like think about it the uncertainty so Allah says he reminds you owe me your tequila but if you keep God in mind you know this it
total is not fear if that's how you feel it fear Allah dread God it took allies to keep him in mind that if you are mindful of God he Allah he will he will set away out for you like don't worry like God will watch over you that's what what you're a sook who mean hate to lay on us and God will feed you from places where you cannot imagine so if a relationship is is ending it could be daunting people could think
well what's gonna happen now should i grovel should I beg should I put up with oppression just so I can get food so I can be fed like yes unfortunately especially in the past in patriarchal societies women could have been in these kind of vulnerable positions they still can today and and it doesn't have to be women it could be men as well but more so on unfortunately received with women does it mean they should kind of crumble succumb should they do to kind of thing well okay you know so long as I've got some shelter and food you know I'll be I'll permit to be oppressed Allah says
look we are so home in haste alerta see Allah will provide for you you set that foot forth I mean you set about on your way God will watch over he will provide you with provisions from where you cannot imagine what man yet Allah Allah Allah Allah Farha spoke indeed whosoever relies upon God God is sufficient for him or her in allahabad liver hungry God Jalla WA ala kulli shayin that Allah will reach what he has set
out okay indeed Allah has set everything to its scale now these verses are penned up until here the person that objected doesn't bring these verses into consideration he starts from this from this point here Allah says what is nominal maha demoness I come in Earth Optum for it that one and those women by the way who had
reached their menopause right but he didn't say menopause it says who had despaired from the menstrual cycle yeah it's not those women who had disappeared from their menstrual cycle in a septum if you are in doubt now here there's a question what if you are in doubt about what so the more faceting are in to two camps about what this means when God is saying if you are in doubt because he's not saying this to the women he made it
up to me to the men it's a masculine pronoun plural it's not any attempt tuna that would be to the women but it's saying and those women who have despaired from the menstrual cycle in a tap tongue if you men are in doubt now what does that mean if you men are in doubt about what so the scholars say either that you are in doubt that whether they have despaired from the from the menstrual cycle meaning whether their menses have completely stopped if you are in doubt about that some people have said maybe this doubt is referring
to the eighth day if you are in doubt about has the ada began or not has it been completed or not but what makes sense is that if you are in doubt as in the men about whether they have had the menopause or not because think about it back then they weren't really too sure when the men what do they know so if they're in doubt for it dot or NASA Lassiter sure then they it is three months let them stay for just three months non-stop let that be the idea
okay let that simply be the ether the it's not going to be three menstrual cycles and let it just be three months because are they pregnant or not or whatever you can it's an ample opportunity for all the factors we've mentioned before will Allah meeya Hitler and those who are not having these cycles what will hurtle admah and those who are appear to be pregnant agile own Elana Hamlin Hamlin the ADA is
until childbirth or mania Tattler hi Allah whom in America you saw and indeed if you are mindful of God he will create easily now this is the verse that that they are claiming allows pedophilia we let me tell you this part that said after it said those women who you are in doubt whether they've disappeared from the in there whether they at the menopause or not let them wait have a 3-month cycle and then he says well let me ahead 'no and those who have not had
their cycle the question is what does that mean those who have not had their cycle does this mean those who have not had their cycle because they're six seven years old they're just little girls they don't have a cycle or does it mean those who don't have not had their cycle due to some kind of abnormality now this that's what this verse very clearly meant you will see people you will see for example a bhai jaan he mentions how it's very clear that this
that this verse because it this verse those who ever who have not had their cycle how would a woman have not had a cycle because there's many women who have abnormal cycles as many women who do not either it could be for an illness or it could just be for some abnormality of their cycles that they don't have menstrual cycles and he mentions that mentions that it's women for an allure it mentions them now that you will see other people even our mentions that this is simply a follow on from those women who you are
in doubt about how they display it it's the follow on from that if not sure the great move T of the grand masti of the marquee at the great merge the aid of the 20th century he writes this is just a upon Allah yes nur those women who you are in doubt about whether they have reached a menopause or not then let them sit for three months and those women who do not have cycles he's saying this is simply just an out this is just a follow on and those who it's just a
description of those women now meaning even if they are not at their menopause but they do not have these cycles then let them sit three months that's the most important thing then you have other scholars like Celebi he mentions that the hadith in the suburban Azul for this he mentions that the suburban Azul to do with this verse was to do with women a woman that was divorced during her menstrual cycle and the Prophet told the
person off and said you don't divorce them during you wait and then you divorced them and that's why this verse was revealed and he doesn't summer Bundy in his stuff seed mentions this is simply talking about women and nissa who don't menstruate that's the tough seed he gives Abu Saud he mentions in his stuff see that is there any mention no mention of anything to do with girls little girls or anything he just says is to do with women old age stuff like that now once again if not er the same thing
you know it's just women old age those women who don't men straight stuff like this well do we have a problem first of all what is the challenge because I want to steal man not strong man these people's arguments the steel man argue to steal mind their arguments you see the problem is many more faceting many of our scholars of the past have they have been part of the problem now they are great people we do love them adore them for all the great work they've done
however we they've made a mistake they've made a mistake now many Allah MA and we're talking not talking about people remember we took my people who are still hundreds of years after the Prophet but many scholars some so many hundred years after the Prophet them in the books have written in native seeds even a Cathy for example could to be for example C UT who's like a thousand years after the Prophet like people like the have written in native seed oh this can also include little girls they have
written this we utterly condemn that utterly disagree it makes no sense right now because these scholars have said it does not mean that the Quran said it the Quran simply said those who do not have this who have not had this cycle now how do we know first of all the Quran was speaking not because to be fair to the X Muslims they could say oh look but good to be said so even a Casillas ed so if not I am said so generality in a suti
said so so surely how you know what's your evidence and this doesn't refer to little girls okay evidence evidence will give it says though as though these verses would have known of this channel now it's as though we go back to the very beginning of these verses that I read to you just as we opened up this
section yeah a you Hanabi in that the luck tom o prophet when you divorce and Missa women we mean not girls Missa not Burnet not Jerry yet not Joe worry not we're not talking Adel didn't even say as logical he didn't even say your wives he said women nobody refers you do not refer to a
six-year-old girl as a woman or a seven-year-old girl or an eight-year-old girl and if they say and let's let's what could be a counter-argument that they might bring up they might say oh well you know in the past because young people they were doing you know they were robbed of the in their kind of infant stages and childhood was kind of robbed from them therefore they were treated like many adults so because of that we're going to say linguistically we can use this then I ask you if that be the case if that be the case then
them being robbed of their childhood was equal for boys and girls so show me where boys are core region where do you call ever show me where they called boys region men they don't because neither do they call Bernard Lisa they don't call girls women now here a lot of begins by saying is that the luck to Manisa when
you divorce women and this hold a whole verses are simply speaking about the divorce and the ADA if you reconcile if you don't reconcile how long should they wait they should wait three months what if okay what if the dimensional cycle isn't so apparent what if you're not so sure what if they don't have regular cycles what if they're pregnant what should you do now tell me if it was if they trying to say this was a little girl why would you think that the little girl was pregnant anyway why would they think that they wouldn't think that a six-year-old was
pregnant anyway so what would be the purpose of saying oh let her sit and add that just in case to go straight after it straight after Allah says and what will add to laughs Molly RG Luna and if they have pregnancy then there is still childbirth if you thought it's a child then you wouldn't be expecting the child to be pregnant so this is stupid but yes yes we have to accept that unfortunately some scholars there's been
quite a few Muslim scholars have written that in their books it's not in the Quran it's not in in the Sunnah it's if you look at the whole verse of the Quran the verses of the Quran that I've read them verse by verse and demonstrate and shown to you that look it's very clear what the verses are speaking about Imam Malik was very clear in his fatwa that it was Haram right to have to have any kind of sexual relationship with any with a woman I mean through marriage unless she was nubile he's very clear
about that in his Fatah WA now what I'm trying to say is the Fatah WA of men men that make up fat ones like I'm am of the I could but I do issue fatwas like that in the past there were many scholars the only she thought was just because some of their Fatah WA were wacko or worse were influenced by the of oh the kind the global patriarchy in which they lived doesn't mean that was Islam so yes if scholars have said it we
will accept that that's wrong if they said but there were other scholars that didn't say it if not sure I highlighted these these were for city and that demonstrate they don't mention some of the summer countries only about old women you see a boy yen highlighting although he say some people have said about this being young age but he says about oh it's about illness people that don't get and Nessa fee quotes him as well on sorry Lucy also quotes manga but yes just because scholars have said things like that wherever they've been wrong we'll accept that they were wrong but that is not Allah and it is not his messenger and that is men and their
opinions who was subject and influenced by they day and age so I hope that shed some light the Quran categorically addresses the wives here divorce as women because they are women at that stage right it does not say bonnet it does not say you know Fatah at even in this it could have said Fatah to be fear because what they are can still be girls in their late teens and things like this but here it actually addressed them as women okay so and you definitely in Arabic do not refer to little girls as
women just as you do not refer to little boys Oh lad as average earn right so I hope that sheds enough light so we you've got and there's a no suley principle that we something has is mota shabbiha so you've got this verse here saying and those who do not have their cycle now one apparent reason if you said that somebody you'd think oh abnormality you know like if I said alright so this this girl she doesn't have her menstrual cycle the first thing that would come to your mind is are okay like some abnormal you wouldn't first of all think like if I said that to you now you wouldn't think oh a seven-year-old
like unit you want to think I'd be saying that because that's a stupid but now so the apparent would be oh so some abnormality now you could extract a meaning from that by saying oh and and I guess underage girls also don't have mental cycles which is true they don't as well so you've got a mothership is something that can have can go in multiple directions whenever that clashes with something that is sorry that is very clear the clear thing so the beginning of the verse begins with women and it sets the tone that when you divorce women then divorce them for the
AIDA count the ada measure it make sure they you cannot throw them out their homes if you reconcile once they're eight days up do this to that it begins with women which is clear so whenever there's a slight challenge between something that may go one of two ways it has some let's say let's let's say this some level of ambiguity right and there's something clear the clear always overrides that's a clear or sully principle so here the term lisa is clear
it is sorry this is not something that is you know in any way ambiguous the other verse although it's clear personally it's clear to me is probably clear to many people but I can accept that okay fine if you just took that as an isolated understanding you could say yeah well young girls don't also have the menstrual cycle so we're going to include them but then that's clearly canceled out that understanding is by the beginning of the verse Nisa women I hope this makes sense to you guys I hope it's shed some light I wanted to explain
that as a I felt a duty because you know there were many Muslims or I'm sure there are many who may now be confused if they've come across certain people saying that the Quran allows pedophilia it does not okay so I hope that's of some help guys let's wrap it up it's been over two hours right now and like I said there are some there are Muslims unfortunately that will drop us in this mess right because they this is
a problem isn't it because they will didn't say things like oh no no no it's it's okay it's okay it's like the conversation I said earlier on I was speaking to a person and he said well oh it's okay to you know it's not a sin to force to have coercive sex with your wife or not it's like what on earth you want about of course it's a god it's Haram and the boys like no no it's not and this is the problem that we are really to blame that we are our problem that while some people are trying to kind of like show that look the Quran the Sunnah doesn't
say these thing and this is why we'll why he you know when I keep saying about Imam Ali Imam Malik he said that you know he said that Lane you slay her are kadar deal umma Alama al ha ha whoo ha Oh Willa that the last of this oh ma what will save it is the same attitude the same approach that saved the 1st of this Ummah that kind of made it for the first of this Ummah and what made it for the first of this Ummah was that they were independent they didn't feel obliged just because
so you see turbo ain't just because a companion said something he will still challenge the understanding and just because the tabie said he yet the the tablet are very like in my malik will challenge his understanding they still respect the person but they challenged the view if he contradicted the core the essence of the deem to them and that's what imam malik said we'll save those who come at the end of this one and that is us we need to yes look I'm not these scholars were great
people but they were human they lived in a political day an age where they saw things as normal and maybe around them they probably thought they lived in these kind of in on many occasions in oppressive patriarchy's in some occasions maybe not but in others yes a very kind maybe they lived in the medieval ages there was a lot of misogyny so to them oh yes sure you know who cares but we now do not live in that we can remove those blinkers like Imam Malik said like the early people of this Ummah and
examine the text and say you know this is your culture this is your baggage from the medieval age you can keep that you know you can't check that in okay you're gonna have to carry that with you this the Quran so now fine we'll take that so I hope that's of some understanding people right I'm going to leave you to inshallah any issues reach out to me facebook Messenger messengers sometimes better than the other Facebook messages but you can use either and this messenger allows me to send voice notes now that Instagram also allows voice
