sallim bienvenidos ah muchas gracias for the share likewise people those of you tuning in click like click look at that shout-out for ilford via Jhelum water route via Jhelum so right let's does the salt look at a question straight away does the soul cause consciousness Elizabeth Muhammed alamos Alan Alan
was subtle and you know can you hear that people they say a true drink or to trigger all the senses it's supposed to trigger not just taste but the scent the smell he's supposed to trigger the sound yes almost almost tipped it over there yes
what a knot once again people let's let's see what's going on a question was right there look at that that's to wake me up people to wake me up getting right so what is going on man what is going on this is a special potion for my drinking special potion don't worry non-alcoholic this is no alcohol you know in this one this is a variant of redbull right this is the Cola thing oh
my god I've become so hooked on this that I've had to order myself a small crate of it why is it in life I must do everything in excess yeah la once there's a friend of ours we were having a conversation with him and he was speaking about something he'd done wrong and he said an after I I did that you know that was I shouldn't have really done what he did and he said then I said you know I thought that see never again
never again I'm doing Toba you know tobert over and he said I said yeah la please don't make me do this again so the rest of us were just in stitches a [Laughter] cha-cha-cha so it's a love that was making you do it I want to go straight yeah just let me go straight just let me be oh why do you keep making me commit these sins
ah yes Salaam so what's going on people hope you didn't buy more than ten cans could get arrest yeah you know okay so let's starting up this clip I've seen this viral clip of a couple I don't know who they are but I think they're in Tesco and they're getting arrested over they've got a trolley load of mineral water or flavored water or something and I see the problem with I don't know what's involved in that's it
cuz that in itself doesn't like I'm sure you can't get arrested for just buying so I'm sure something must have happened I'm not saying it was their fault I'm not things their fault I'm just saying I'm sure something must have happened one thing must have escalated to another and you know I mean like if they have just been targeted it doesn't make it I mean I could understand targeting Muslims but I mean surely there must be a pretext it must be premised on something not just like hey did you just buy water
water moving moving moving you know I couldn't like it must have been something maybe an argument maybe some kind of hostile behavior I don't know but whatever it is I hope if they are innocent you know may Allah make things easy for them but the clip I saw was just that so you couldn't really make out what's happening in the clip and everybody is just writing that oh they got arrested for just buying a trolley load of water we didn't really make any sense so I thought if only people wrote the entire story rather than just making
us oh well there you go got somebody right there just trying to welcome me with this Wiz blocked are so where would we be without the love huh where would we be this one's going out to our Tama blocked him now mortars I think his name was mortis odd this one's going this one you you know this one to you so right so I don't know what
the whole story is but I want to say on that note I think oh we've got a joke I would have told you a chemistry joke but I know I wouldn't get a reaction you had these jokes don't cut it you know like I think I outgrew these jokes when I was about when I was about so as you can see a very disturbed childhood so yeah so coming back to is that sama ship will lead we do vids in the house right so I
don't know what the situation is but I wanted to say I mean I thought that couple in in Tesco wherever they were I don't know the context I can't comment on them I hope no injustice was carried out against them and if it was I hope it is rectified by the authorities and the correct apologies etc but that said I want to just highlight something here quite often people it is simply it comes down to the interaction between people you're kind of you're kind of I don't know demeanor or just just the way
people present themselves there presenter bility but they kind of their personality shines from them and quite often you will find that if you are just Pleasant or opt you know like somebody who just sees good in the world generally speaking I know there's some very there are there are some very evil elements in this world I accept that but I'm trying to say people who generally see good then goodwill is what they encounter you see
like if you go out if you usually you know meet somebody greet them with a smile if you're quite pleasant how can I help you you know what is the situation people are usually you find that that encounter is usually very pleasant I have been in situations where I mean somebody just before me or somebody other than me has gone through the very similar kind of situations let's say a certain they've encountered certain it could be an official kind of situation a formal situation they're encountering somebody or their I don't know I
airports or their wherever it could be and people will tell me of like a horrible a harrowing kind of experience that they've encountered and I will go through the very same thing and it'll be totally fine you know Pleasant I'll crack a joke I'll you know it's it and I and I'm not saying sometimes you won't get people that will be just evil and out there to kind of make life make life difficult for people there are people like that but quite often it's a kind of fusion of personalities you know as you meet
someone the way you come off you can sometimes aggravate a situation or you can defuse a situation by you know just being like you understand what this situation is nothing it means nothing you know there's no need to kind of be you know just be very if anything you could be humorous so you could just be pleasant and just walk right through you understand and not I'm not saying it has to always be the case but quite often you will find it's a very pleasant you know if people have a misunderstanding just be pleasant you know if there's a if if there is something if you've done
something incorrect to say oh my okay I don't realize I'm supposed to do it like that but but cool yeah so yeah not as bad as the time in the airports I've been like on sometimes mind you I don't really get stopped much but uh the once or twice where they've stopped me and they've asked me have you got any you know have you got any any dangerous object sharp objects or this and that and I've just said things like no no nothing besides the cocaine really and
the nothing almost landing myself into someone necessary trouble but but usually it's always been okay it's always so what else is going on man what else is going on would have a discussion would you have a discussion with chef Ibrahim or CFO Shetty brahim of course of course share the brahim I have great respect for chef Ibrahim or CFO of Liverpool an amazing person do you carry weapons apart from
those hell no I have the protection the Lord is my shepherd so I walk in his grace what do I need weapons for do you ever doubt your interpretations well well that's an interesting one Jamal Sippel I don't know if doubt is the correct word but I might may be critical of certain ways of looking at things and I can I try to counter some interpretations I may have sometimes and try to see what is there I try to test
the evidence see what's the strongest form of resistance against this interpretation so let's take a look any might somebody had asked me a question right at the beginning I didn't answer II is the consciousness from the raw and things like this I've answered this in much more detail before and I've said yes I do but in fact I kind of believe that they are maybe the same thing that consciousness is maybe there or to some extent or they are in intricately intertwined people intricately and
someone still enter paradise if they die and are in well unless the person they're in debt to is God they turn up and it's Lloyds Bank or Barclays don't you still have an overdraft to hell with this person so of course you can enter heaven I mean what what is debt once you've passed from this world anyway what is the debt I mean all these not simply lowly interactions when you like let's say you
interact with somebody you interact with them on the premise that there is an expected there's a kind of anticipated life expectancy that is in the background that obviously let's let's say I gave somebody something I'm obviously not assuming they're gonna drop dead as soon as they walk out of the door unless it's a setup right but otherwise it's all good so now should they die sad as it is but I mean should that happen then then I suppose that collapses it's not you
could now Islamically there is an understanding that the debt is like from the will the Terra Cotta what the the kind of not the world sorry but what the person leaves behind in terms of the assets that a debt should be paid from there if possible from a third of that now fine I mean that's an but inheriting debt I don't believe people should inherit debt and I'm not quite sure what the laws in the UK are around that exactly because my understanding was you shouldn't inherit
debt but then I've come across actual cases where people have been kind of contacted by a bank and told that your mother died and well now you owe us that's in the UK I've heard this side up so I don't know how that works I don't know what the intricacies of the law around that but to me that is absurd if a grown adult undertakes a transaction then that should not that it should be restricted to that adult March will become a march will be entirely counterproductive March as in the month
March what do you propose a man surely was of the view that right consciousness in the raw is in the raw as pain and pleasure only occur in the mind really is when one dreams etc ex-muslim so consciousness being in the yeah I mean I've said I'm very kind of in in agreement with that understanding hence I think why in the Quran consciousness Allah explains consciousness as
complicated as incredibly like oh mighty terminal I'll me kalila it is only a small amount of understanding that you have been given of consciousness all brought but I would take consciousness ex-muslim versus Ali Dawa I don't know what that is what is is there is there about is there a dialogue about to go down or something use of mode says for wives of one well it depends what you can handle it depends what you can handle and
whether they'll handle you I mean if you pick the wrong one and then you wake up with you wake up when she's a one thing to check all the feet backwards as the ancient legend says that you know a Tyrell one of those kind of which women their feet are always backwards so in case you wake up and she's standing there with the hair down and the feet you're like whoa that's an incredible
treat right so somebody I don't know somebody's asked like Imran Imran Malik animus Island has just written yes and Adi I don't know what am I supposed to say about that Greek philosophy helped Muslims or not Greek philosophy definitely aided Muslim it's not about Greek philosophy knowledge is something we ought to acquire wherever we are from whoever we can there was you see today we seem to have this understanding that there is Islamic knowledge which we are ought to have and everything else is superfluous
but in reality everything every knowledge is knowledge yeah can you give Toronto a shout out Toronto you doing it people you doing it so what else is going on man what else is going on right I did let's take oh I want to say make first of all I want to say this in the beginning got distracted may Allah grant ease to all the victims of the Indonesian tsunami it's tragic to see these kind of just natural disasters of
this magnitude really and there was actually an incident I've read about where there was a person in a control tower and and this really stands testament this stands as a testimony to the power of of the human will and human altruism that there was a somebody working within a control tower a young person I believe in his early 20s who didn't actually evacuate and waited even to his own detriment where he waited and
safely guided the passenger jet off he kind of cleared them so they could take off and then he died but he did that as a final thing to to save arguably say the passenger jet or to clear them and I think that's a great it's just a testimony to the extent that human beings will go to you know when you hear these kind of things is deeply moving self-sacrifice for some for some for some good and I mean whether he could
have been saved it's not the question maybe he could not have been say but to do that as a last act it was really moving to read about that I read about that and you know may Allah grant him paradise may Allah grant his family ease and all of those who have suffered and we really something we it's all too easy to forget that human beings ultimately this is one it is a family and ultimate a great family that's what it is at a greater level still one connected with life permeating
throughout this cloud in whatever form I mean just to think about at a human level just to think that every other human that you encounter at some level right kind of branched off as in you are related at some level with every other human being on earth isn't amazing I mean it's a it's such a profoundly overwhelming thought to truly kind of just think about that I mean it's it's just wow isn't it it's like an all striking and then to think
at a deeper level everything that contains life the animals be nature trees grass everything at some point all life was connected which are nominal man you know kulla shay'in hate that he all had one common source and I think that in itself is a a beautiful concept and it's it's a very powerful one and to kind of remind that we are at one really with we're meant to
be and I can although we're so removed from that and especially in the modern age we're very removed from nature I can definitely speak for myself and very removed from nature but I think and then human beings so these are just some thoughts you know may Allah grant us this this ability to to kind of just to comprehend and then have compassion in turn because human beings whenever we encounter somebody slightly different level on totally different slightly different to us our first reaction is is
unpredictable I'm sorry is categorically predictable and it is one of hostility human beings when we encounter a new I'm using the term race or whether it's a new just a they could they could be even language differences dialectical differences they could be you know race differences ethnicity differences color whatever when we encounter somebody different unfortunately our kind of base reaction is one of hostility and I
really ought to be about kind of getting to know each other and having that kind of bond yep yep somebody said the psychology of in-groups and out-groups absolutely I mean we as human beings are incredibly tribal incredibly tribal and I think that it's not just we as humans that goes deep down as primates as animals in general are like that it's not just creatures life is almost a bit it's the fiery nature of life almost yeah somebody's asking my views on jive
okay I'm not sure what that means my views on Jackie I think Jackie is amazing scholar of the past he has contributed significantly to matters of other literal literature he's contributed on other belief issues as well he was a martyr silly he wasn't somebody of the mainstream Alesana but he was respected by a lot of mainstream Allison man his discussions he was definitely on many things ahead of his time so I have much respect for him
here's some interesting articles and treaties where he's trying to conceptualize things like what is better for example which of the genders is better so he'll kind of draw up a dialogue between these boys and girls competing which colors I mean that's that will team be deemed racist in our day and age but this is almost you know a thousand years ago so we're looking you know he would like his black or white which would be and he used to kind of favor black in general and but he had these kind of literary dialogues which
you'd write an amazing Arabic and poetry and and go between them but yeah did a poet nubira ba have a method yes a partner beer Abba he's a famous Tavor a student of if not pass somebody once again way ahead of his time he resided in Makkah generally and was known as the Faculty of Makkah he I believe of ethnically of African descent although I think he may have spent his whole life in Makkah but he was one of the greatest much the heads of the turban and he's
also amongst the people who held views like which I've quoted before on hitting and one of the earliest people to speak out against any form of domestic discipline or believing that you could hit your wife or anything like this he was one of the earliest people to condemn that and declare it as Haram so cool what else is going on people what else is going on right I actually I got in you know I got some questions in an email let's go to fine mail just kidding let's go to some Hema I got this
what are you views on his butt ah don't quote his birthday they're a joke my views on his butt the hadith that's like asking me what are my views on cancer no that's exactly that they're pretty synonymous in my understanding right so I got a letter letter from a brother from the Netherlands a brother from another mother
all right so from the Netherlands and he actually posted a lot of questions and I thought maybe I'll tackle some of these questions online his name if I'm pronouncing it correctly as he's rightly guided me to his avenge what a name huh he says it's a it rhymes with revenge right soaked avenge has written out and I have to say I'm he introduced himself in much detail and I'm glad he did because sometimes he it brings it brings people to life for you you know you you could sometimes people will just write to you and they'll just say Salaam my
name is Ahmed okay this is this you know it doesn't really mean anything you know and oh look at that there isn't that that's him people get him quick I've been blocking right so there is and so it's good to to kind of come to learn a bit about people because it it gives life it gives raw to that hollow you know it's there's a fake I mean it's not an authentic hadith but it's an interesting one anyway now it's one way
the the Satan the devil approaches Adam Waltz he still a case is just a hollow human he has no life in him and I mean I mean they said this these stories are not true but they but they have a nice store message to them they kind of they have metaphorical truths to them if you like and so he the devil comes to him and he kind of like taps him and he says in Edgeworth you know that he's a hollow this this this
being that God has created but then the whole point was that but when God put life into him that he became obviously a beacon it became us you see this is the and there's another interesting there's another interesting story like that once again it's not true but it's it's it's it's just it's you can appreciate it it's it's a nice story to hear about so when Allah was putting life into Adam it mentions that as life kind of permeates
through his body and reaches his his waist he sits up but it hasn't reached his legs yet so he can't move and he's trying to move and and he's kind of stuck there and you find this in the tafseer of the verse of the Quran way and he says to Allah like in this story obviously the story isn't true authentic but in this story he says to Allah that it's midday at that time it's like ah some time and he says to Allah Ya Allah
I J like hurry me at least before sunset so you know you find this in the verse of the Quran sorry come I 84 latter study no I will show you my signs don't hasten relax yourself relax yourself a lot of start you know but in this verse you you read this commentary that Adam was kind of like all agitated and you know that he's created but get this message that Adam is kind of created by Nigel like from-from haste and we truly are the offsprings of that
we are that's who we are just people of haste and anxiety and we get all anxious and you know deny things and so these stories really just carry these kind of messages the same thing about the story of Adam when death approached him and he had given forty years of his life to dawood aleihsalaam and the story isn't true but it's it has that metaphorical kind of truth to it and in it he says he denied it he said that what are you talking about I haven't given any life away and the Angel of Death apparently
says to him that yeah you gave 40 years of your life to one of your offspring though because in the story he is Adam is shown his offspring so he's looking at them that this is that Wow these are all your truth these will be from you and and this most likely is in a vision this is what it is so he is shown them and then amongst them he sees the wood and the wood really kind of stands out to him and he says wow he says who's that and they said this is the root and he says David and he says Wow
and then he's intrigued how long will he live so they tell him any and he he thinks is that it and he says that I tell you what give him 40 years of my life la la Dada now that's the kind of dad that you want to ask to you right so so Adam ELISA Lam says you know I'll give it what the hell you know after all I'm his dad he says like you know how 40 years of my life so then in this story the angel of death comes to him
- Adam went forty years prior to when he's supposed to die and he says what the a you will be early she's talked about being eager so the angel says no you gifted forty years of your life and he says that he says no I didn't and the angel says yes and then he says for jihad ah so he does in car he says no I didn't get out of here like you know but I need denies he says for jihad Adam for jihad at the rear toe so he make like he denies and thus his
offspring our people are our creatures of denial if you like and one nasiha Adam wanna see at the rear toe and Adam forgot and his offspring they are all these kind of creatures of forgetfulness and I think these are amazing kind of stories that we can I mean they're not true then I know certain Muslims hold them to be literal truths but they but they hold nice messages sometimes that you can use right coming back to to this
there were some questions asked by this brother from the Netherlands and he really appreciates that having seen this certain view which is a fresh view IRA alright he had some questions and what I'll do is well by the way I've been sent by somebody else as well some alleged contradictions of the Quran you can't see even Weber contradictions in the Quran and I'll tackle a few of them is well today on today's show and I'll take some of these questions as well what about the hadith where is mentioned that the Prophet SAW Allison was created before Adam I mean the Prophet wasn't
created before Adam I mean these things are not true I mean if if they hold any truth to them they simply are reflecting the narrative of destiny that's all it's speaking about which is a complicated topic right so here are some questions there are a few concepts within Islam that say there is no basis that you say there is no basis you say that Islam came to eliminate superstitions it did people superstitions out they go right so
concepts like the evil eye evil eye and jinns are incorporated in our minds by parents and local chef and chefs for since growing up I find your explanations to be reasonable but can't get rid of some of these as I would like to call them indoctrination how can we deal with this yes sir Kasana has just asked about the age of Noor Holly Salaam I've answered that before it is on YouTube no Holly Salaam did not leave nine hundred fifty years that was just a different counting method they had but you can watch that clip off of him it is
on YouTube right so this thing about evil eye on jinns this is very true that people we've had this indoctrinated into us and I want to say we it is amazing how we as Muslims are so inclined to like we will be so dismissive of common sense for something ridiculous like let me give you a scenario like you could say to somebody know this person is suffering from they would say okay can you explain why he's pulling on a different voice or doing this and you'd
say well here's an explanation what about dissociative identity disorder or you know what was called multiple personality disorder where the mind splits off and creates other personalities as a survival mechanism what about something like this and they will say that's absurd not this is a reaction now look mmm that's they'll say that's crazy and you'll say oh okay and they'll say well and you say so what do you propose and they'll say well it's obvious it's a
witch that's the magic on him they'll say no it's obvious it's a it's a demon can you see that leap like they'll say that like you could give them an explanation and they'll say that's stupid your explanation is stupid mmm you say okay do you have any suggestions and say of course it's it's a demon look how that or it's a witch
somewhere on the other side of the globe doing witchcraft and that isn't stupid I mean what but we are so easily inclined to accepting these let me tell you something people I would feel that a study could be done but so many Muslims I won't say the majority but I fear that it may be a majority but I would say many Muslims are so likely to answer to why their relationships for example in
life have suffered they are so likely to put that down to witchcraft and sorcery and witches and wizards I'm being I'm not joking about this honestly this they may not you that they will use words I mean they whether they call them witches or not or wizards but this is what they'll say magic so somebody has done so you'll say well why did your relationship breakdown and many people will say oh because somebody did magic on us at which point you have to think
oh sorry I thought I woke up in the medieval times and I thought I was in the Spanish Inquisition okay I'll be a Catholic I'll be a Catholic oh yeah okay okay so right so you think it's hmm so you think it was a witch you don't think it's the fact that your relationship suffered is because
maybe you just an idiot all that you've as we can see you're clearly challenged in certain capacities cognitive capacities shall we say but I mean it's so easy this will be this what I'm talking about by the way these people who are even professionals in their data they're not like stupid people they're
not like people who are like not like that kind of crowd they will they will be that crowd as well but they will be professional people you I've spoken to doctors believe it or not doctors who support and are a part of the the medical institutions if you like and that science I've spoken to people who could be teachers accountants lawyers you name it professionals who will have these beliefs they will feel yeah of
course it's it's just witchcraft and that ladies and gentlemen is the problem so so we have to really our you know as human beings our intuitions it's true that look we can get spooked out at times but our intuitions are you know not we overrate our intuitions sometimes as human beings let me tell you this there's actually an interesting book called the invisible gorilla and probably thinking what kind of books is
mostly reading now anyway the invisible gorilla is it's it's to do with this about human beings and how we misjudge and overrate our intuitions and the invisible gorilla is an actual case study it's a famous experiment where psychologists got people to they got them to I think it was a baseball but they got them to monitor a particular event so they were just watching a clip and they were told I believe it was baseball to concentrate on how many
times this person hits the ball and so they focused on that but what they don't realize a short clip but what they don't realize is in between a man comes into the audience dressed as a gorilla and beats his chest for about ninths was it bad basketball sorry I thought it was I thought it was baseball but I mean but I mean I was just reading about it so I wasn't watching the clip but and he beats his chest for about nine seconds so a person dressed as a gorilla in the audience like he's going on but this is
the clip where they're watching a clip I'm not talking about the actual maybe this has been replicated in many cases this experiment saw the people watching the majority of the participants didn't even recognize realize that that had happened because they were so focused on just trying to see how many hits this player was scoring so that goes to show our perception is not as a cute or as a tuned as we'd like it to would like to
believe it is okay all right so that's the salt that's my so my point of mentioning this is sometimes we over rate our in fact there's an interesting surveys have been done in America and Canada with a where they asked people how intelligent do they write themselves above others so about 70% of people rated themselves to be far more intelligent than the average person that's
that just that just speaks volumes so this is you know so this just goes to show that that's the problem that we're facing that we all have that kind of as human beings we have much of this superiority complex and and it clearly showed in that study so my point of saying that was that we over rate our intuition sometimes you might find oh my god you know like so-and-so praised my car and then I had an accident so you're making a causation you cause it like
they say you correlations they they have no significance so a good India in the same book the invisible gorilla they will there's another study showing correlations as an example and it mentions that how so for example there is an increase in the number of victim drowning victims there is a positive correlation between the number of drowning victims and the number of the increase in ice cream perches right so
so where more people are drowning there's also more ice creams being purchased now now we anybody listening to this can this figure out straight away what the greater narrative to this that's just because that this must be happening in a warm part of the year or a hot part of the year summer in which people there will be more people swimming because of the weather and therefore drowning because naturally if there's more people swimming you've got a more greater likelihood of more casualties and in some are more people
naturally are buying ice creams so it's not a that this correlation does not suggest causation okay so we need to understand that because as Muslims sometimes we will say oh you know he praised me the other day and now I've got a stomachache nozzle a goddess named Ezzor Nessa you know it's like and so this so these things are not these things are that's my point anyway of
saying that right so the return second point the return of Jesus a long time I've read and listened to many scholars talk about the end of times imam mahdi after watching your lectures it's reasonable to accept that the Prophet and the message he passed on is sufficient I can't get him from can't get the information I got out of my head I feel you have a point but can I provide any assurance on this do I believe that this has no foundations within Islam and that it is incorporated from the Christian Jewish and narrations
that is true you are correct that I am aiming to I've began I finally sat down and started to kind of sum together and the research on the coming of Jesus second coming of Jesus and so that means although the second coming isn't you but my course is very near now so but the point in in this is yes all of these narrations are inaccurate there is no second coming of Jesus and there is no need for the second coming of Jesus the
question is where did these narrations come from now almost 80% of all of these narrations first of all none of these narrations come through any major companion of the Prophet that is relied upon that is known for his understanding of the Deen like Omar al baqarah highly rhodiola I know none of these people for example you will get mainly 80% of all of this comes through Abu Huraira audio on and then there's some companions who some narrations come through who are either just almost entirely unknown almost you know like companions like
you've never heard of them like no were Cygnus Amman and you know people like this who when I say you've never heard of them I mean you wouldn't have unless you've just come across these one two narrations they're not people who have contributed or were known as the true come as the as the mage as genuinely the Companions of the Prophet as in those who ways actually around him during his lifetime traveling with him doing things with him stuff like that and that's the view that I take of the true companions of the Prophet as mentioned by early scholars like sighs enormous a year when and other people as well Kathy Bell Bell
daddy and others that look the true companions were those who really lived as companions with the Prophet not just somebody who met him right so yes so that's and and it's not about I think that there's I think that there has been inherited baggage so people did as Christians kind of converted to Islam they brought by gage I'm sure convert Jewish converts baggage Persians brought baggage into Islam all of this did get a lot of it got filtered out and some things crept through I do think the early years and the great turmoil in the
first gen in the first century of Islam want made people think that it was going to be the end of times and they were awaiting some kind of a that they wanted change and I feel that that was fertile ground for this concept of the Messiah concept so the Messiah concept kind of meets this opportunity this opportune psychosocial narrative in which people are dying for like some kind of thick the soul thirsty for some kind of revolution and I think amongst them
definitely the Shia were a huge proponent in that because the Shia this whole Mahdi movement begins with the Shia really it is really a Shia I know today Muslims believe as a whole in the Mahdi but really this was only introduced by the Shia and the Mahdi was even if you just look at the whole Madi concept it's really centered around people like Muhammad nafs akia him Muhammad his father's name Abdullah his mother's name he will resemble he was
just he was the person he was in the time of Imam Malik by the way and he led I mean he did rise up against an and the state unfortunately I mean they did crush him and his revolution and they unjustly I mean they were harsh but this whole Nadi thing comes in through him people trying to describe him and arguably maybe before him before him if you're looking at most are is described as the macd as well and but really the Maddy today is we understand that his name will be Mohammad that his father's name will be out the law that this and this and this and this
it is spot on just of zakiya that's all this is about so it's interesting it's interesting this whole thing and the Jesus thing comes in through there as well most likely Abu Hurairah is either he is either he's mixing up all people who are listening to him or mixing up because above radar of the 11 used to take a lot of things from Kabul Akbar who was a convert to Islam a Jewish scholar who didn't convert in the time the prophet a very I feel a kind of dubious character
who appears in and influences Islam in many ways that it never truly recovered from and this is one of the remnants and that is this this this this Messiah concept I believe kind of he plays a key role in influencing this Messiah concept as well so the other thing is memory we are you see people taking from Abu Huraira and then people taking from them you have to remember that memory is constructive agent we are like going
back to that book it's a bit of a theme this week the invisible gorilla they they also speak in this book it also speaks about memory that in a sturdy construct in a study that was conducted by the the author and the people of that book that they up to 70% of people feel that memory is like almost like a video film it's just playback so if you ask people how does memory work so they will give you the analogy like oh it's it's like
watching a movie like it's playback like I'm just playing back what I what what had happened now sight science and psychology has demonstrated that that is not true people I mean you will get really in this last century so much work has been done on this to show that memory is a constructive agent you're actually constructing memory as you going along you know your brain is making meaning of things and then
constructing them and then you start to consolidate those memories and this is why it's so easy to have false memories and they say study in that book as well this study is known by the way it's a known study I remember it when we were studying psychology we went over this study as well and it was one to do with false associations of words so we you had a list of like let's say 15 words and you gave them to participants and the words had so for example the words would read something like tired drowsy slumber and things like this but when
you were when they were asked like for example snoring stuff like this but when they were asked to recall as many words as they could from their memory most participants included the word sleep even though sleep was not one of the words but yet most of them could clearly remember the word sleep in there because these words were associated with sleep so the mind was making meaning of what it's hearing tired drowsy slumbers snoring you know things like this and it's making that association that definitely sleep is one of the Willetts
so right so so these things are important to understand why because people listening to hadith were doing the same thing don't think they weren't they were making meaning of what they're hearing right so you know so you've got to remember the hadith of the Prophet now the meaning of this hadith that not that Allah who Imran that you know may Allah bless this a person who hears my hadith here's what I have said for aha so he understood it was a dark messiah
ha and he transmitted see as he heard it not just transmits it as he heard it because in another hadith the Prophet said war OPA he said war bhajami li 13 alarm an earth omen many a people will hear my hadith take them to somebody else who will understand them better than him but heard of that person transient presented the hadith with his meaning he may have lost the original meaning so this is and most of the hadith or transmitted by meaning and
this is why Imam Malik was against this so Imam Malik was against our reliable mana because it messes things up so I feel that this Jesus thing as well or the Messiah concept was part of that meaning that people kind of inverted into it because they were thinking that something is supposed to happen and by the way I don't when you lose you lose feeling okay sounds a bit poetic you see by the way I'm not in any way I'm not trying to the this isn't an
attack or anything on a ball radar not the Allah on a ball Raider is a great companion in his own right nobody's denying that but we need to be realistic as well as imam abu hanifa and the early hanafis were when it came to amount when he came to Abu Huraira Allah on they said that look of our era is a great person he met the companion lived with him and did things like this but they said he was not from the Sahaba who had deep understanding of this theme this is how the hanafis all plays him the earlier Saleem in the shoebox if you read all sort of Salafi or these other really cool books of just sauce and
other people they make this very clear that the hanafi madhhab does not recognize Abu Huraira in the same category as it recognizes companions like Omar and highly and people like that and therefore anything he says they say they need to assess it so this is why people from Iraq like Ibrahim and nahi and other greater Berean would say that we used to leave much of what our Herrera would transmit and these transmissions of Omar correcting Abu Hurairah or reprimanding him some people have challenged those whether they were
authentic or not but these transmissions of Aisha correcting Abu Huraira and you have to remember that look it's only natural that if you start reciting hadith non-stop you will be making mistakes it's only natural okay Abu Huraira of the allow and accompanies the Prophet between two to three years of his life the final two to three years and he was somebody who he says that oh the reason I know Moyes because I used to kind of free myself that I mean that
may be true that may have truth to it but the fact that is he hearing it accurately understanding it accurately is in question because if not a bus corrects his understanding saying that you misunderstand how to eat you know you seem to get them wrong in their meeting right cool so all right people that was some of these any other notes here there's a lot about watching Malachy Fick doing it doing it right wanting to learn on Malachy Phil Kyle definitely
absolutely would encourage that it's asked there's a question about me teaching Sharla in Charlevoix right so right so now what what else is there I feel a lot of my family in Turkey talk about the olya and there's a hadith about Syria and Olean Abdullah is this correct you see in my understanding all these things and he's asked about Karamat all these things about you know like these special people of God I mean it depends what special people of God
means yes I accept that God favors people I believe he favors he has his blessings upon mankind as a whole and we all feel deep down that we are in some way favored by God or we ought to believe I feel if we don't then we ought to you know we ought to feel that that person is me that God has favored this is you know it's this that what is it that book by the the psychologist on the edge of the couch where he says that
that he quotes Ari I was reading in there but it's a quote from somebody slightly more classical saying that Luca I've always believed I know that death is inevitable but somehow I've always felt that nature would make an exception for me and that holds true with all of us like we all know certain things are a reality but we somehow think maybe maybe just won't happen but I think what I'm trying to say is that we should all
feel that that favor of God is upon us all as to the are there people who God is favored I'm sure there are people who God favors and he favors us all in different ways but as to this thing that there are certain people who for example in every this hadith are in every age there are 40 people and they because of them the world exists they are called Abdul and stuff like none of this is true I mean these are this is like folklore religion it's like for the common folk they these kind of stories go around they don't really hold any
truth claims to them and as to the miracles that these people perform see those miracles as long as these things are within the law of nature then yes miracles Karamat are fine and this you'll find is for IE me and other scholars within Islam I've done the same thing said this ignores a that said this in Iran and other people that look Cara but that's all it really is I know some people try to disprove say that if nobody's they couldn't have said this and stuff but you will find this in nevertheless that the most important thing you will find this in the books and he actually had a book on it as well
but uh you do and you'll find it in the kalam of astronomy as well saying that look when we say when we say there's miracles by the olia what we're talking about is things within that coincide with nature and that I believe is with all of us as human beings there is no distinction we will all witness some kind of miraculous event during our lifetime maybe some more than others and it could be at a small level but it could be very meaningful to you you know to me this could be a miracle that wow that this like sometimes I've had things happen to me that I've just thought wow
that is a miracle the way that came together that I could not have planned it any better and I'm serious this well sometimes when I'm being saved right at the the nickel it's it's as a miracle I could I couldn't believe that Wow and these things to me are no short of a miracle but as to actual like you know like fairytale miracles like oh I've turned this table into a dog and I've turned that car into a human being transformers and I've turned this
mountain into gold and out this is all folklore religion you know none of these I mean you can believe you can believe whatever the hell you want it doesn't really make a difference to me but in people in general I'm just saying but this kind of stuff doesn't you mean when you are able to switch between tabs before your wife catches you when you're trying to minimize minimize and it doesn't or it minimizes but for some
reason the sound still oh you open the wrong kind of clip and all of a sudden he's got this sound and you're like you know there's a few of those kind of prank videos by the way so they get sent around and one of them may open it up in the Masjid
and then miraculously at that moment in time your phone just just freezes and doesn't let you switch anything off the day and age so these things are all no not mean quote yeah no neither of I so there you go well
oh oh you make sends you in the machine that he knows Bilal always sends bill oreilly anything Bilal sends you people never open it in a public place oh how I've learned that one through painful experience right so yep now moving on right okay so and then he just speaks about that there was a good question about the age of Aisha the age of Aisha is I've answered on so many occasions watch my video clip age of Aisha it is
just common sense people common sense make it very clear that look when you've got to understand something we are retrospectively engineering stuff so we are saying that Oh like so Muslims will argue that oh I shall was nine because if this was a bad thing why didn't the Arabs mock it well you say well that's because it never happened this is such a stupid straw man argument like you're reverse-engineering the whole thing it never happened of course they won't mock it because it didn't
happen so so we get this and then people are saying oh well girls back then were kind of super developed they were super developed young like they were like eighteen year olds or sixteen year olds at the age of nine and why we know this is because Aisha got married at the age of nine you think well okay that's how not how it works okay we don't reverse engineer in this way that is ridiculous you need the evidence show me the anthropological data so about the
biological onset of girls into womanhood if you like so a girl becoming developed so to speak or becoming kind of nubile or things like this what is the what are the onset kind of trigger so you have the manake so the manake is the onset of the menstrual cycle okay and you will have things generally these three measures and two of which are apparent so there is one to do with the hormones which can't be seen so we'll put that aside and you've got the other two the manake which is the onset of the
menstrual cycle and thalaaq ii sounds like i'm trying to somehow rhyme this with malarkey got nothing to do with the malarkey method people saw this so the the salaah key is to do with if I must to do with the the onset of the breasts so these two factors are key factors in a girl entering or on at the onset of womanhood of developing physiologically now historically today in certain parts of
the world girls will reach the manake that the dementia cycle much earlier than historically just because of the abundance of food and genetically modified food as well especially in places like America it's been researched to be down to the age of like ten point five something like that on an average although historically the the manake was probably between 12 to about fourteen something like this or eleven to about fourteen in some parts depending on once again nutrition and stuff like this and
this a similar thing with the Salar key the onset of the breasts it was usually around age 12 onwards so the this is the - the apparent kind of features in which a girl starts to embark on her developmental journey towards womanhood historically these two things were if if anything were from that age on they were never before I mean even today they're not before you wouldn't get the menarche starting at eight generally speaking and neither would you get the the onset of breasts at that kind of an age so to say that
girls back then was so developed is stupid and we're just making an embarrassment of ourselves right so let's move on and yes the hadith is definitely unacceptable right what else right there were some contradictions that people had highlighted to do with the Quran I can look at them shall I take some questions that people had submitted there's a poem yet is showing up on my knees feet masseuse Delanco ich KL Hamilton maja but more days are here more jessica
armata speaking about miracles right there you go all right let me just get into the questions people right I'm trying to see what any questions people have right Facebook just decides to you know it hasn't frozen there's some questions right here a hadith says the
Prophet told um selamat to go behind a curtain to cover herself from a blind companion is this an authentic hadith no it isn't it's a weak hadith so the hadith is unacceptable it's one in which if not only Maktoum came to the house of a miss Alma and Aisha was there as well and the Prophet said to them how come you're not dressed as in they were just in casual clothing and they'd kind of let him come through the door in this this hadith is not open it's a false hadith but in it the Prophet asked Sam how come you so
dressed so casually and they say well in armor he is blind and the prophecy says a formula whiny and tumour and what about you two are you too blind as well this hadith makes no sense if anything it's an insult to the Prophet if you accept hadith like this because what does that even mean are you too blind like what but that's not a comeback that's not a response to that that doesn't make any sense so I mean the chain in itself is unacceptable
right somebody nafeez it's 5:00 a.m. in Singapore doing it doing it but always dealt with what if there is no God Islam or ila I'm not sure how you pronounce that is la says I'm not I do practice Islam but I'm not certain that there is a God how can one attain certainty you see this is that this is the thing I suppose
it's I've spoken with atheists sometimes and we've had these discussions and I've said look it is faith I acknowledge that I'm not saying that God is something through you know I'm not trying to prove God through like some kind of empirical proofs but that said how do i I I've asked them a theists that look to me
like what makes me certain if I can use that word certain loosely otherwise we have no concrete evidence about there being a God but it is to me the miracle of life with a capital L it is the miracle of the lights being on I don't mean these lights I don't mean turning up home and the lights are on
and then you realize you've turned up to somebody else's home it's a bit late now you're already hey you're ready in the bedroom and you like well okay not like that I mean that the lights are on in there okay the miracle of consciousness the miracle of being able to find meaning of appreciation in this world like to me these things are just too
great to be reconciled with randomized kind of order of simple survival I know there is you know I've read some of the the arguments in the books like the third chimpanzee and other books as well by like where they try to argue the utility of some of these things and I'm not saying these things don't have utility but art for example expression the human ability to express to me is it's just so great even if you just think about just think about
fertilization don't think about nothing about how you get to fertilizing everybody's just thinking about all right okay [Music] fast-forward to the actual just the concept fertilization okay now if you just think about a single sperm and an egg right now although this is alive as in as any hassle as in it's moving
around and just as cells do within the body and things like this and but these come together and they create a human being for God's sake a human being that is born with his or her purse analogy I mean if you have a young child if you have more than one child right so when I look at my two daughters so when I look at my youngest one she has an entirely different personality an entirely different like in many ways it reminds me of me which freaks me the hell out
I think damn but I mean the the question is like an entirely different personality which is not even learnt behavior because then the elder one ought to have it but and this is why the behaviorists you know they said I was an absolute you know some of them said I was a utter behaviorist until I had my second child and then everything went out the window but the point what I'm trying to say is this this fertilization when you just think about it that results in a human
being it results in me you all of us this is what it resulted that's just Wow like I thought I got you know if we don't know it to be true I would never believe it do you understand like my reason alone what may be fine counter arguments against it if we didn't know it to be true so so mean that's a yes so that's my my thing that and I think then it's a journey okay it's not about by the way it's not and then the problem is really it's that
then it's your journey to God but then what messes it up is the people what messes it up is the people of God because then they along the way have got they they've they've got their interpretations everybody's trying to exert control it's like the last week somebody commented on my post about hey job I think I've forgotten the name now I think was it a me or something but
presumably a convert to Islam so she spoke about well you know I'm struggling with my hijab and I don't really wear it now and I'm just wondering and made some kind of comment like this and some people just started like it is fault you must be wearing no way in Islam does it say you can't and then she kind of made some comment about locum you know if any if you know you can't give me any encouraging support or you can't be supportive in any way they're not rather [Music] then I'd rather you you know you you didn't just kind of try to demoralize me
so my point in that is that you see this is it the people of God do the worst or allegedly the people of God do the most damage to God so that's the the you know there's a there's a good poem by John Elia where he says hidaka sub vocal he speaks about the like this hidaka sub vocal helican are the meek equivocal
name that this he says that everybody is an advocate on behalf of God but very few are advocates on behalf of of humans like everybody wants to argue the case for God but nobody really nobody really wants to support the human cause to show that human interaction at an awesome poem really of John Elia that that's
this this sub doc a vocal helican Adam icoquí bikini mod Carabas Matt Carabas hard yogi he speaking to a woman he says don't debate with me that you will lose Matt Carabas ha jockey Huson eat me buddy the lily he says to her beauty alone isn't compelling enough to make you win the case just because you might think that
you're good-looking that doesn't mean you will win the argument so that's Jordan Elia sob I'm always a fan of that said psychology does show that many people that are better-looking do get a better job they do get a better chance in things like court cases and stuff like that so I suppose it does favor people to some extent let's look at some of these quranic alleged contradictions people have said somebody sent me you don't need to look good bro now I'm
just saying that though that was a line of his poem came at Carrabba's ha jokey that don't debate with me you will lose like he's speaking to a woman that who sang it anybody the Lila name that Beauty itself is not such a compelling argument that you know you won't win just on the grounds of and from there I was just saying that some people do get a bad rap for just being ugly but that said I think I don't know if I think
people who are like that they can there's always they allow themselves to be like that so I think people can always improve themselves enhance themselves they can do something to them to make themselves look always a bit bad things like that go to speakers corner that's not to diss all the that's not to say I don't want to I mean is it a coincidence that most my haters are usually always just ugly people I mean is that I'm just trying to be object I'm just trying to be very
objective right now and just just say you're right bro if I look like you are probably I'll probably hate the world as well so it's a right let's move on to some of these Gangu Teli sorry it Gangu Teli this is the problem why do people of religion have to look so weird sometimes I think it really messes up the Misses of our PR department that you think so we we get stuck with right so this some somebody had sent me this it
was an article to do with the contradictions in the Quran and there was a much lengthier one and I'll try to go through the lengthier one maybe in another show or something somebody's asked how did I come up with the Kunia Abu layth I just liked it I came up with it many years ago probably about 18 years ago or about 17 years ago something so it was during my study years I just I just thought it slick Abu layth alright so right now so some person non-muslim has put together a
page called contradictions in the Quran and he says that the Quran states it's a perfect book but there's many contradictions in in this book so in this particular article he lists about seven and I'll just highlight a few examples of these to show that he is really misunderstood the Quran now I am open to expects like I if people want to present critiques or criticisms of Islam I'm very very happy to kind of try to
look into that and try to speak as objectively as possible naturally I will be biased I'm a Muslim but I all try to kind of at least acknowledge their argument and speak about it fairly now there has been I haven't got it here but there's another link that was sent to me as well with a lot more so it wasn't just the quranic was Islam's mistakes in science Islam's mistakes in history in reasoning so that had a lot more so I'd like to go over that another time but it was in a similar way that
had more flesh to it if you like because it was stepped outside of the Quran so you could attack Muslims on reasoning so it could say things like you know why do muslims believe this like why do they believe in demon possessions and demonic was a sea so because of that it could pinpoint other argument this one was article was just restricted to the quran and i wanted to show that look a lot of this was really very it was ultra low level kind of attacks and criticisms which really stem from a from
misconstrued understandings and i want to be as fair as possible so this is like as an example he will say let's i highlighted some of these in here right so he will say for example now look is there any compulsion in islam now allah says la Granja 15 in surat al-baqara but then he says oh allah says in surah - Toba about you know give them this day
and then after that there will be a penalty that they have a certain amount of time and so on and this is one example to show that look but that's a very like anybody who reads this there's two layers to this one anybody who reads that clearly reads that that is talking about a context in which and this isn't the typical hey wait a minute is a context that is the actual means clear from the verses and that these people who were fighting the Muslims that they had a certain warning and then they was going to be a declaration and that was clear and the second aspect which demonstrates that is
just look at the life of the Prophet he didn't go around just he didn't just go around forcing people to become Muslim that didn't happen if that was the case then he ought to have been known that the Prophet was just forcing everybody to be Muslim it wasn't hard in that day and age to justify that belief the Prophet could have just said yeah we can compel them it's for their own good but he didn't and that's that's known so you know it doesn't really carry much weight but then he will show arguments in this like saying things like look how come in
the Quran it says can a lot change his decrees or not so so he will say for example Allah says in the Quran so I'm just trying to here so he would say like look there's a verse in the Quran in surah al-anam that Allah says he speaks about walaqad could see but Russell main table care for Suberu that prophets
before you have been denied and they were patient Adama codes they will despite or regarding what they were denied well also and they were harmed hata at our home in Astana until our victory came to them voila mobile Delilah cally Matilda and there is nothing to change the word word Kelly mat the words of Allah now he says okay that's in surah al-anam verse you've got the 34 he says but AHA in sir eternal you've got verse 101 why
he thought but then I ietm Makana ayah o Allah who animal be - in all enema and time after that you know they when we change one verse with another verse they say oh you are just fabricating things well actor whom layer the moon yet most of them do not have knowledge now this and then he also quotes the verse oh man and supplamine ayat in oman see her not see behead him in hell Mythili her that whatever we abrogate from verses we come with others now he says look this is a contradiction in the Quran that is not a contradiction first
of all this is speaking about ayah he says in Arabic that way there but the ietm Makana ayah when we change a verse of the Quran to do with another verse in terms of ruling this is not what some of the Muslims believe that Allah made verses disappear that is a false theory that but that we changed the rulings of verses in this other way he spoke about in surah al-anam allah says that when the prophets were harmed in the past they were patient until our victory came and there is nothing to change these words of God meaning this decree of God
that with a test people must be patient for the victory to come and the word that is used as Kelly mat wallah mudalali Kelly Mattila it's not talking about ayat of the Quran but I can understand you see he's probably reading an English translation and and he said look this is a a contradiction it's not a contradiction in the Quran at all another example he gives is he says okay I want to know who was the first Muslim who is the first Muslim and he think
well okay what's that about and he says but in the Quran in surah az-zumar allah says that tell that addressing the prophet to tell the people who in me mildwin out of the la mothe listen lateen say that i have been commanded to worship allah with sincerity what me truly an akuna minal muslimeen and I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit of the muslimeen so he says who was the first Muslim was it the prophet muhammad salallahu alaihe salam and he quotes
this verse he says Oh was it Moses who says in surat al-a'raf verse 1 143 well imagine a most early mccarty now or kalamaja Robin when Moses turned for his appointed time and the famous verse al arabi arena under Allah he said Lord let me see you and Allah says that's not possible and so on and then the voice goes on to say fellow man I thought when Moses regained consciousness allah subhanaka took to he lake oh Allah I turned to you well Anna o al mumineen and I am amongst the first to
bring faith I am the first of them up meaning he say so was it Muhammad to be the first Muslim or was it Moses to be the first movement first person of faith or was it in surah Baqarah ibrahim alaih-is-salaam when he says well wasabi her Ibrahim o Benigni and Ibrahim advised his children he gave them this as as some of his final kind of words to them well yeah kuba and Antioch who look after him as well said the same thing yeah Benita my children in the last of all Akuma Dena
that the that Allah has chosen for you this team for that Emunah 11 - muslim hoon do not die except that you are Muslim and so basically they were already Muslim in the verse before it Ibrahim says - allah is all-aware boom Aslam color Aslam - little army he says I have submitted a slim - little bill al-amin and in another verse Ibrahim Allah says who are some maqam Muslim in that he has named you as Muslims as people in submission so he says look this is a clear contradiction in the
Quran now these are not completely contradictions in any meaning of the word and III just find that is such a poor and low level of criticism because look if if you are gonna criticize the Quran at least come with something a bit you know bit with a bit of meat to it a bit it's got some substance to what you're saying in language in general whenever in a given context if I said to somebody that listen are you going to who all right who's gonna be the first
to I don't know right who's gonna be the first to submit their assignment nobody is suggesting that that person that submits his assignment is the first person in the world to submit his assignment this is called relative speech everybody all the Vaseline nobody ever denied this what they called as Kalam on miss B or what they said that this was miss Mia that this was relative when musa alehsalaam came to to Mount Sinai and he went first and then when the mount kind of shakes and everything and he falls unconscious and wakes he
says I am the first to submit and I will be the first to bring faith first from who did he not know about Ibrahim at least on akuze he did he's from the offspring of ibraheem alehissalaam so what is he the first to submit about the first here as in amongst my people you will find me to be the first this is common sense it's not like nobody is saying that that is exclusive for mankind just as i these examples stand everywhere this is commonly understood
it's not something like that baffling really so once again i wish there was a better argument now he does bring something about he says about farrell okay now he says that fear only in the quran he says this is a contradiction that was Pharaon killed in the quran by god or was he not now that that okay now this is something interesting he brings so he says in Surat Annisa Allah says in
verse one or two after speaking about the signs that Allah has given Moses Allah says well I thought that I linked a man Carla laqad I limped a man's and aha Allah Allah Rob Musa Milwaukee well odd massage if so this is on the tongue of Moses saying that he is saying to firown' you know that these signs have come from the Lord as signs as clear signs that you can see well in nila Adam look a Pharaoh no math Bora and I can see I have a feeling that you will be damned Oh Pharaoh for errata is tough is
alumina Lord now Pharaoh wanted to kind of he wanted to capture the he wanted to kind of catch captured them from this earth from the land as well that they had that they had gone to because the Bani Israel the Israelites had already left once Pharaoh kind of chases after them forever rock now who am i matter who jamia so we drowned him and those with him right now this and then it says what cool name embody healy bani israel Ascona Lord and we said to him and we
said to the Israelites after him now who is this after him it could have been after Pharaoh it could be after Moses that live in this earth fighter jet I want all our courage it now become Lefevre now that's in Surat Annisa verse 103 Allah says for other Oklahoma abuja me ha however in surah younus he says that Allah when speaking about Pharoah recognizing the truth finally when he sees it Allah says al and now well cut the aceite Pablo akuna minal muslimeen and yet before this you were amongst those who used to
disobey clearly Allah fie yo man una chica Bieber technically takuna Lehmann Halfacre Iowa Innoko theorem in an essay on diet inna llaha finland and yet many today we will save you with your body and allah mentions he and despite the fact that most of mankind are ignorant of our signs so was pharaoh saved or drowned now the question here is truly speaking nobody has categorical proof either way whether the pharaoh of moses
drowned in that at the time of moses or was he saved my understanding what I'm inclined to is that farrell did not drown that he actually kind of pulled back but his armies did drown now this I'm inclined to that understanding myself other people may feel that he drowned there and then and that's fine they can take that understanding now those first of all the Bible itself when it speaks on this topic the Bible
mentions only the offices of Pharaoh drowning and not Pharaoh himself history seems to dictate that Pharaoh went on to live till a very old age if it is if I mean arguably there's a difference of opinion who was the Pharaoh of Moses you know people have disagreed whether it was Roma sister the second or whoever with but the Pharaohs that they have looked at in most likely do go on to live till an old age which doesn't correlate with them having drowned also the repercussions don't correlate
if the Pharaoh did drown they may have been great repercussions towards the Israelites from the armies or the or the successor kind of Pharaohs which didn't happen so in my understanding this verse for yeomen una chica be botanically takuna lyman-alpha Cariah today we will save you this was in its literal sense that God did save Pharaoh he didn't allow him to drown other Muslims who believe this that he actually drowned they say that God saved his body so we have his body in the
museum and things like this I think whichever one you want to take you can take but I feel that God actually saved Pharaoh there and the reason he saved him is because he was a sign that he knew the truth and yet denied Allah mentions that pharaon had Giroud like he denied despite knowing the truth that's what the coup for and that is true Kafar and that is the meaning of coup for when you know something yet categorically refused to accept it because of your pride and that's why Allah says yet most of the
people will be blind or sorry ignorant or they will ignore our signs so the other verse for other of navin where Allah says in surat al Asiri the father of nahor madam jami are so we drowned them and who was with them to collectively is this a contradiction this isn't a contradiction because I would believe that that you see they were drowned as in the water was released and I've explained that in a different kind of in a different episode on the whole how the water the the gulf
of aqaba the winds the torrential winds and the storms do push back the water so how that was released but Pharaoh were saved now when you say a verb in Arabic like we drowned you does that mean that you had to for example if the verb has to be completed or does it mean you began the verb and you could stop so for example now in Arabic the azulene say there's a difference of opinion many do you use them interchangeably so for
example I could say like I could say I and the famous debate yesterday I prayed at 7 p.m. does this mean I began to pray at 7 p.m. or does it mean I finished praying at 7 p.m. so this is the debate and both are useable and they are interchangeable at times people do say that so I could say yesterday I prayed at 7 p.m.
but then I was interrupted does that mean I didn't pray it's not in any way a kind of contradiction it's not to say well you see does it mean that a verb if it commences it must be successfully completed so if I said you know you know he I know he left he will he set off to or he went he travelled or he drove to London whatever but then his car broke
down while T was on the motorway now you see what I'm trying to say this is a common debate that the Saleen have discussed many Muslims have taken the fact that Pharaoh was drowned okay for them there is no contradiction either because they will say it's the body that was saved so he was drowned but it was simply his body that was restored in and it's kept in the museum's for those who feel that he was saved as in he remained alive like which I am inclined to believing in that case it would say it would mean that he was part
of the initiation so he was drowned but he was saved as the verse says for yo man una chica we will now save you so you'll only save him once he's already in trouble so there is no contradiction in that sense but I thought that's an interesting one at least that he pointed now there was other examples by the way now these are and I'll just this is the last one he gives an example he says this is a contradiction in the Quran that Allah highlights that we have
created everything in pairs Allah in surah 2:38 says verse 49 warming kulla shay'in Helana xoJane la allakum to the qur'an and from everything we have created pairs so that you may so that you may take heed from this okay so you may have some kind of and then he quotes the verse of the Quran as well in surah Taha which shade which which states that wawel ad model our Dowagiac fer was he Allah has laid out the earth and placed in mountains
and rivers warming cool early summer art and from all fruits geography has o Janus name he has placed two types of peers within fruits now he says that look and Allah says and indeed other in there are signs for a people who ponder in a phenolic Allah i oughtta know me at the furqan he says look this although it is true a proper fruit is something which has both male and female kind of counterparts and they do reproduce like that but they are several fruits which are hermaphrodite so they kind of self
reproduce and he gives certain examples likewise although most creatures do have that kind of they do have agenda but there are some creatures who are asexual and they are just pathogens so they just reproduce through path in genesis so self reproduce they do not have two genders like some lizards and things like this now that is true so is this a contradiction in the Quran it's not a contradiction because in language and in the Quran and this is in language generally when you are using first of
all you are addressing a generic point you are not trying to teach the taxol taxonomy of science you're not trying to say okay this is a a lesson on botany or a lesson on zoology or a lesson on you're not trying to do that you're just addressing people with general understandings so you're just saying that generically because allah is revealing the quran to the people of Arabia in the seventh century addressing them for what they for a general understanding Allah is not trying to say by the way we have created pairs in everything except
there's a lizard in Mexico which has you know that's not the purpose of the Quran you know and we have created fruits in pairs except for this plant and this plant that's not what the Quran is trying to do that's not the nature of the Quran so when the term cool all is used that's not it doesn't have to mean oh I know that may sound for a moment but let me give you an example if you go to surah al-ahqaf well lost speaks of the people of odd who were arrogant and
belligerent and they condemning and and violent towards their prophet that that Allah then mentions how they suffered their fate and that this kind of storm this kind of torrential almost like a hurricane came their way and and Allah mentions in verse you've got here in verse 25 that this wind strong wind that came their way to the middle kulla shay'in be Umrah be ha it destroyed cool cool means all kulla
shay'in be umbrella be ha by the command and decree of its Lord it destroyed everything for us behula yah allama sake no so bye-bye dawn by morning the only thing you could see the only thing you could see remaining for them was they was their houses so the only thing standing was the house is not so if you go back it's saying to the miracle ash a destroyed everything so the only thing you could see left
standing were their homes now that is not in any way some kind of that is common usage so if I was like we spoke earlier on about the tsunami if somebody was to say that this tsunami was so so vicious that it took everything it destroyed everything what they don't mean is if you say oh really but here's a little plaque plant the plant still did oh it destroyed everything oh look what I found this was still left on destroyed that's not how
people use language when they say in a general usage when they when they're saying all they could be I mean in certain cases people could mean oh yes when they're speaking generally but when they have literary usage addressing things like so when Allah says and we have created from everything piers he's not trying to say that and you will never find any species that will ever violate this law and this is a law of the taxon on taxonomy of zoology or botany or that this is not what allies saying so that is not a contradiction so
the person was like oh I found a contradiction in the Quran that is not a contradiction because the Quran was never sent as a book of science it was never sent as a book of it was a reminder that's what it was and in many ways we as Muslims are part of that problem that we we kind of profess that we will only treat the Quran like it's here to teach us science like it's here - somebody asked me the other day I is it true dinosaurs existed because there's no mention oh I thought he was taking the mick I mean for God's sake
the Quran is not going to speak about dinosaurs the Quran is not interested in trying to teach you everything it tells you see who feel oddly fond the route go out and search for yourselves if you want to learn that's what the Quran teaches it doesn't tell you oh by the way you know they were dinosaurs and there was a try Sarah tops and there was this dinosaur and there was t-rex and t-rex and and these were herbivores and these were you know carnivores and and then this meteor
came and this is not Wikipedia mate that's not what this is so my whole point is that the Quran was simply a reminder it has many gems in there and it doesn't these things are not in any way kind of contradictions or wider than the Quran mention everything of course it's not going to mention everything another example he gives he says all it says about Yusuf Ali Salaam why was he he says they purchased him but there are him a Maya Duda for a few did hums ah
but they never used to use their homes I caught it out he said I caught him I caught him out mistake mister he says the Egyptians never used to use their homes so why is the Quran said their homes this is this I mean that is such a petty stupid kind of objection because obviously that's the language that the Arabs used that's like saying like if I was to say to you you know I can't
believe what happened in China you know the olessa sells to use in the example of somebody that was I don't know killed over a bit of money and I was to say that you know life they took his life over a few pounds let's say I used something in Pakistan as an example and I said over a few pounds they kill this person and somebody say ah but they use pounds in Pakistan I caught you I caught you out so this is his kind of like big catch out like I caught them
out ah they never used to use these you think well sure but that's this usage that's how you say you know over a few pounds it's like Americans will sometimes say penny I don't think they use pay now means sense as far as I'm aware but they will say every penny every Penny's worth I mean we use pennies and pence within the UK which make up pounds but the point is that just because you use something it doesn't like we have the saying that that's my two pence worth you know I'm just putting now somebody
may use that like usage of language is to do with the people you're addressing doesn't mean you catch them go you fake news fake news that caught you out so people that's like just masha'Allah so that's what it is somebody said are you an undercover modernist I mean if this is what I have to look like to be an undercover I
wonder what a no I'm not an undercover I'm not a modernist I'm traditionally I am a traditionally I adhere to the tradition for God's sake but I mean you're obviously assuming modernist based on my appearance so that's my point that how is this appearance undercover this is as as apparent as it gets so right people I think with that whoa it's gone way past midnight people as always you've been awesome right I really do need to start doing these a
bit earlier but the truth is you know me and time we have a complicated relationship [Laughter] stahma complicado you know that's what the it's just time and time and ayah our relationship is just slightly complicated so with that people let's wrap this up as always it's been awesome Shahla any questions do reach out to me ad - not chase hermano buenas noches
