somebody asked me was I always independent no I wasn't always independent I grew up from a really kind of background but I studied with all institutes I stood in a brewery madrasah in the Abunda madrasa in a hadith madrasah I studied in Damascus in the late 90s when it was an amazing beautiful and peaceful place you know I studied with many diverse shoe with my leaky shoe of Shaffer issue hanif issue if I studied with Lahiri scholars believe it or not people who had a passion for a school that isn't even in pretty much in existence and I learnt a lot I learned a lot from

diverse people I came back to this country after having graduated and completing my complete in the Quran memorizing the Quran gaining each other with a chain going back to the Prophet completing my scholar studies with all those diverse Sciences completing my Musti course you know somebody said by the way why do you act if you're not holy why do you act why do you call yourself a Mufti that's ok that's a decent question well first of all Mufti is a functional title it's not an honorific okay like a Lama or che or beef sub it's not like that Mufti is a

title of function of skill okay Mufti in Arabic means somebody who is trained and skilled to be able to issue Islamic rulings which I am right so you can so that is the truth I am skilled to do that and I'm trained and I've been tested and I've passed the qualifications it's like saying if you're a neurosurgeon you are a surgeon like it doesn't mean so that's not the same as trying to act as a holy man I've said very clearly before by the way I've never pretended to act holy and I'm not on a dog consider myself in that sense holy and I don't

I've never when I've been asked the question I've been asked before would you say you're a religious person I said that's an interesting question because of course I'm involved in religion so from that aspect yes but from you know here's a holy man always doing this be always like these Oh is very you know I've never said I never want to claim to be like that I am simply a regular person who by the grace of Allah fell in love with the legacy of Islam and then Allah guided me and he gave me the ability to study this legacy I fell in love with this tradition I

fell in love with the character of The Messenger of God salallahu alayhi wasalam and i will continue to defend the honor of god and his messenger against these misrepresentations that people present that's what I do and I do my own study I issue rulings when people want rulings I teach people that this Deen is a Dean of ease and that's what doesn't come from me came from the messenger of God himself he said in Nevada Deena come a sir who the best of your Deen is is the most easiest he said yes sir ooh well I see who make ease do not make difficulty invite do not

frighten away I will till my dying breath God willing defend the messenger of allah sama and defend Allah as they are being presented as irrational and count of reason forces so people are saying The Messenger of Allah is unreasonable they are saying Allah is unreasonable so I will defend them along the way I may upset people doesn't bother me so as to being holy or pious or I've never claimed to be these things and I don't want to and I don't want to be any mom in a message it none of those things they don't interest me in this life I'll never make it on time anyway so that would be pathetic for me to do

so but this is my simple kind of thing that I just put out there right so and these Sciences will live for people who can study them they are amazing they are amazing if you can study them but you have to become at the end if you want to share your views you have to be independent okay so that that that's my only kind of naseeha to you guys so yes I mean I was so that so that's when people are so you're mostly so this is how the you know when you have qualified you can give a ruling and stuff like this but uh yeah lost my train of thought on that

but I was saying that look I studied yes sorry my background and when I came back to the UK after finishing my studies I studied with non-muslims some of my I've studied religion the philosophy of religion at Birmingham University with non-muslim professors some of the most amazing people when they came to religion they had so much respect I shocked me shook my world I'm gonna be honest I couldn't Wow like I thought how did these people have so much other to religion I studied that I studied psychology when I came and these things showed me you know by
