can as the phone lags yesam let's get this right okay now okay sharing that yeah all right that's done right so
folks let me just see is this obstructing The View nope it isn't all right look at that all right there it is God damn huh so boy have we got some questions or what people
god let's see what is going on people have been sending some questions uh what's this British jihadis Sally Jones wants to come home mhm that's an interesting question though that's not actually one of my questions uh but I do feel that the authorities ought to open up some kind
of a a Gateway a bridge where people who realize that they've done obvious that they've gone off to join places you know people like Isis or groups like Isis that if they wish to come come back there should be some mechanism in place for them to do that that's in my understanding Allah but um that's what I feel um I know currently that's there is no option for them to do so but I I I do feel that there should be something that the authorities I mean by all means they could be monit
they you know they ought to be monitored not they should be monitored they ought to be in uh and something but if they're preparing if they're extending some kind of a handun of regret then I just feel that there should be some some attempt because otherwise it forces them to stay where they are much longer and and also by them coming back it demonstrates the failure of this vision of this this false hope this fantasy of
wanting to escape to some kind of an Islamic State and doing stuff like that it it really debunks all of that as well so I think there's there's a lot of reason to why the authorities should should do this but I don't think they I mean as far as I'm aware they don't they just have a pure 100% slam slam them that's it kind of approach to it but uh but I was asked to comment once on um I think it was a a BBC kind of radio interview about this as well and and I said the same thing then that
I feel there ought to be some bridges in for people who are trying to go anyway so moving on guys we got our on a with us all right online let's start taking a look at some of these questions right where are they these crazy lasas Locas that's what we've got right here man some crazy
questions so where is your Center a question by nman asking folks where is your Center if I wanted to attend your lectures right well currently my Center AL marz right now it is uh the worldwide web that's what it is so so right now I'm mainly on social media that's my current platform I have been teaching previously from various locations generally within Birmingham uh that's within the Midlands
within UK come on Birmingham people all the the way all the way right so now I there is a center uh a great Center a local effort by um some of our very own our nearest and dearest in Birmingham they have a center called The Ark like as in Noah's Ark like that so um and they've got some great teaching going on there so I do intend to inshallah uh be teaching some look at these angry faces whoa I haven't even said
anything and people are getting some sad people out there right so anyway uh yeah so this Arc I will be delivering some classes there inshallah in the very near future I keep saying this but I will be doing that there is also a project which I will announce in time to come where I am thinking of inshallah doing like a uh opening up a weekly surgery for people who wish to um who wish to kind of maybe come in and meet me and uh discuss some issues right so let's see
who right what are all these angry faces I need to uh let me just get somebody on that one moment all right so let's see what we can do about that huh all right so so anyway yeah I'm thinking of doing like a uh this kind of um like a weekly surgery where for just people sometimes who want to kind of come in and and maybe chat about something or they've got some issues or they um want to meet
me or they want to discuss something so I'll be available so inshallah as I launch that I'll let you all know obviously that's just a community service that's out of the good spirit so we'll get that um I don't know why why why somebody was angry I hadn't really said anything up until just speaking about this Center and why what I'll be teaching in in the future so it doesn't really make any sense uh hopefully they've been blocked but they're lucky they haven't been mocked and blocked that's what I that's how I like to do it but I just didn't know who they
were you see uh that my tactic is to Mock and block I think I think it's all fair all fair in Love and War and social media of course so right so I hope that's of some help um but the center uh so that's where I will be that's in Alam Rock Birmingham so do check it out um I mean they've got a lot of teaching going on right now some amazing people like she sbal I don't know if you know of Muhammad ibal who is an amazing um an amazing scholar
within the UK Maliki scholar incredibly grounded just got the wo logging on that you wo right so the uh so people like sidal are currently teaching Maliki F I know a lot of people ask me where can we study Malik fig so that's some systematic teaching going on quite a few people are going to his classes and they're awesome and he is incredibly grounded I have to say one of the few uh Scholars who I incredibly vouch for like I'm he is an
amazing scholar uh and it doesn't mean by the way I'm just saying you know this reminds me it doesn't mean necessarily that every person out there has to agree with every view of yours if they're a scholar uh you can love Scholars you can rate them you can incredibly you know be like devoted and to them and appreciate them without necessarily agreeing with everything they say you can disagree you can and that and that's part of this tradition so sometimes you know you'll get people unfortunately Muslims do do this
a lot what they do is they try to trip you over with people you oh so you like Imam Malik oh so what did Imam oh so you like this color so he said this here so I mean what what so just so whenever I vouch or praise uh any scholar and that I definitely I mean people like this that I definitely know uh and and you know and I encourage people to go and learn from people like sidal who I've known since I've been a teenager by the way now and he one of my
first teachers so it doesn't not just I mean this isn't about Chef but I'm just saying about anybody doesn't mean you always agree with everything people have to say but you deeply appreciate the the the depth of that person's knowledge and and their their kind of commitment to the the sacred Sciences okay people so let's move on what are your thoughts Allah what are your thoughts people what are your thoughts on this chicken slaughtered by machine because they believe the dosage of electricution gas would kill it by
the time it is manually slaughtered doesn't such a high dosage uh of gas or electrocution render it dead um I'm not sure it does in my understanding I I feel sorry I just had a a joke you you can always take time out to appreciate a joke it doesn't matter what you're doing you can take time out to just appreciate a joke in life that's those are the moments I tell you that you'll never
regret you'll never get somebody saying oh you d I wish I never appreciated that joke that never happens that's like nobody ever said that so always take that out um right now coming back to this question I my understanding is the electrocution is not of a high tell you guys the joke I can't because if I tell you the joke I'll definitely see my haters will just all the things you find funny in life are usually politically all
incorrect otherwise it wouldn't be funny so I don't think uh I could share any of my jokes with people I mean I could but then life would just never be the same again it would you know there's some things in life you can't unlearn once you learn them you can't unlearn them that's the right so coming back to this uh the chicken the chicken question right right the thing is well
Isa shukran I appreciate it man I I hate my I mean I don't know if I hate my haters I think I'm just more uh intrigued by them that they seem to be so committed to me they follow all my my you know my talks my Monday nights my q&as they follow me so closely it's like sometimes if you know when I'm looking for a reference and and I think didn't I cover this in one of my talk I feel like just reaching out to one of my haters and saying uh excuse me where did I which talk did I say this in again and they would just say oh that
that you said on Thursday the they would have like a list in fact one of those charts drawn up on on on like some wall where they've got like photos and right right so anyway the thing is um chickens I don't they're not they're not I was going to say executed who strong term they're not uh electrocuted to death okay so they're just kind of shocked and then and that is the legal kind of that's legislation right now
um it does doesn't make it haram so it's it's fine as far as I'm aware okay uh Aram MTAR saying I want to give you insight into Islam join the queue pick a number and get in line but I mean the number right now is currently running in the millions okay though those who want to give advice on Islam H that's like every Muslim who has
a a social media profile and nowadays every non-muslim who is uh part of the far right he he has an opinion or she has an opinion as [Music] wellik what is it not sure what
that right okay the clothing of Imam Malik okay cool right let's go on to the next question let's take that question Bashan people solicitor right there a criminal solicitor now an awesome solicitor if you've got any issues reach out to bash basharat Hussein there he is on Facebook right good friend and an amazing solicitor right so it's always good to know
solicitors you know when you're like uh sorry I can't answer that I need my solicitor present to answer that question right so right so this question somebody's asked about clothing uh Imam Malik's clothing look uh I I want to make this into a two-part question quickly one just about the clothing and then move on into um uh a bit about IM Malik just very quickly the clothing Imam Malik obviously wore clothing of his day and age of his environment okay which he lived in Medina the city of the prophet
and he was the Third Kind of uh he was the so the students of the students of the students of the Prophet now he obviously dressed how people in dressed but Imam Malik did take great pride in his uh um in his clothing he was known to take great pride in his clothing in his uh things like uh like perfumes and fragrances and and always had he had like elegance and style to him and I think um uh right sorry I just had to block
somebody constantly trying to share a perspective on Islam just hang on mate hang on I'm I'm trying to share these goddamn [Laughter] perspectives just hang on there you know you're just going on and on and on right so I just had [Laughter] to right so anyway that's so Imam Malik obviously dressed in line with his day and age and his region so um that's what we generally know we know that he wore turban in line with a lot of people and Imam Malik would often wrap the turban around as many of the people do as well
in certain parts of the world today I think in modern day subsaharan Africa and in certain places like Sudan they still continue to have that custom and I think in parts of morania they still retain that custom but these are just Customs these are nothing to do with Islam I saw a fatwa going around the other day which she is uh ibraim Patel uh he had refuted and he's a I think he's a great hanfi scholar from up North who's doing some great incredible work once again look that caveat applies it doesn't mean you know when you love the work somebody does it doesn't always mean that you always on everything will
see the same perspective but you can appreciate somebody's commitment now he had highlighted and really refuted this fatwa by and I was shocked uh you know by Muti mangera giving a fatwa um that who is a British uh born as far as I'm aware Muti and say and and it was there was a series of um questions I think there was a series or a few anyway but one of them it was asking how what can you disobey your parents in so it mentioned what if I like to wear Islamic clothing but my
parents command me not to wear them does do that can I go against my parents' wishes and still with them now this is a separate question if it's asked under the banner of freedoms now I do feel if you were to ask me about you're dressing in a certain way and doing certain things uh if this is a general question stripping the religiosity of it the Islamic away from it a person has their freedoms but naturally when you live with somebody you know you have to go with their rules sometimes you have House Rules R to abide by um and then they're your parents and they have an extra amount of you know unquestionable
rights over you of respect and duty of care but um so you as a human being would have to meet some balance somewhere coming back to this question at hand however that's about uh freedoms in general this question is more speaking about Islamic clothing the MTI then went on to say that you can uh disobey your parents in this matter because this is an obedience to Allah and Islamic clothing is something that Islam wants from you I mean this the the Muti I mean and this is not in any way a kind of attack or uh a personal attack
against the Muti uh who I believe who I've met and I've shared a platform with in the past and and I think is an incredibly intelligent person and you know and I appreciate likewise his commitment to hanafi F but this fatwa is I mean it misses you couldn't miss the mark more I mean there is no I mean it's like that bit you could not miss this Mark I mean there is no such thing as Islamic clothing that that let's get that clear okay anybody that's telling you there is
something called Islamic clothing is either lying or misled or delusional there is no other there is no such thing as Islamic clothing what is what is being branded as Islamic clothing is just a commercial veneer that's all just people selling things under the banner of Islam just to make obviously and they they're making money and they're doing things and I'm not criticizing them for doing that hey I'm all for capitalism but the thing is uh there's no such thing as Islamic clothing there's
you know wearing Arabian clothing wearing Pakistani clothing wearing Indonesian clothing wearing there cultural clothing there's no such thing as Islamic clothing like Islam didn't bring a uniform and say hey people here's a uniform this is it Buy It Now sell and people say yeah but the prophet War uh yeah but whoa chill out the prophet war of course the prophet just wore what everybody else in his region wore you know the prophet wasn't dressed it
wasn't like Abu jahal was dressed in a three-piece you know Vace suit sitting there in the deserts of Arabia and all the Muslims wore thbes they just wore what everybody wore and when the prophet went to what was uh part of uh uh tabuk which was under Roman territory he wor a Roman th and says that this is clear evidence that look this is wherever you are you wear the clothing of the of your region and the interesting thing is that jubba the Roman th was actually
inconveniencing as a Muslim because you couldn't even do wo with Iran because it was so tight from here that you couldn't pull it up to there it would get caught here so the prophet had to it mentions in the Hadith he had had to take his hand out from underneath from both of them and then wash his his arms for wo so despite it being inconveniencing he still wore it so there is no such thing as Islamic clothing okay and I mean if people want to dress like somebody from Saudi Arabia I don't see the The Craze in wanting to dress like Saudi Arabian Arabs but I
mean each to their own I mean I don't personally find it slick I mean to me it looks like a frog but I mean looks like a dress uh which I would think you know it's funny because in this culture that would be seen as a dress and people keep banging out this Hadith of saying you know whoever imitates a people well you do know that that kind of clothing is worn by women I think you've got this totally on its head here but I mean I'm not if somebody wants to wear it I can't hey I can't tell you what to do but if it's definitely not under the banner of Islam yeah some cultural
Muslim culture do whatever the hell you want but it's not Islamic so just to clarify that the other thing coming back to I want to answer this question what does Imam Malik have to offer people I was asked this question what does Imam Malik have to offer the people in the west today Imam Malik's understanding is incredible okay the school of Medina he represents what is called the school of Medina um traditionally and I've done a detailed lecture on this by the way which is on YouTube It's called The Way of Medina in the 21st century I will
be getting it um as a podcast as well so my podcasts by the way soon will be available some already are on Soundcloud um most of my talks will be available soon on Soundcloud or podbean and hopefully it as well so you can kind of listen to them there some already are on some of these places but we'll have these up there but right now it is on YouTube and that's lengthy and I go through a lot of detail but Imam Malik was somebody who was firmly rooted the school of Medina is firmly rooted in the Sunnah which is the practice of the
messenger of Allah sallu alaihi wasallam which was inherited through the city of Medina which which Imam Malik would often refer to as minina the practice of the people of Medina he inherited this from his teachers who took it from their teachers who took it directly from the prophet and this was transmitted on mass in thousands that's why IM Malik's favorite statement
that that a thousand from a thousand are much more beloved to me than oneon-one and he's talking about Hadith because he said oneon-one will snatch the dean from in front of you without you even knowing about it so just to IM right so this is uh but at the same time Imam Malik is also has his other foot if you like rooted in reason that the dean is about the voice of reason so you will see Imam Malik on several occasions in his own book ofth he will
bring theith and say we don't act according to it why because the Hadith in makes no sense so he drew a distinction between Hadith and Sunnah so we embrace the Sunnah but not necessarily every Hadith if a Hadith is problematic it's a problem okay there is no sanctity there is no kind of uh uh infallibility to the Corpus body of Hadith okay right so just to kind of just to clarify that so IM Malik would say look here's this Hadith uh to do with the dog licking the bowl and and
I've explained this before and he says and we've got no idea what it's on about he does not accept it and he does this a lot and this kind of turning away from Hadith he called this this was called and he said this that this is nine10 of knowledge knowing where to derogate and turn away from Hadith uh these are authentic Hadith absolutely authentic that he will turn away from absolutely so uh IM Malik's m is absolutely authentic he would bring the Hadith himself and then he would say
on several Hadith we don't act according to this Hadith right so that is interesting and he uh the thing about reason Imam Malik he this is further kind of entrenched in this understanding of mus of welfare uh right so ah damn you know I've got a um right so right so the thing
um right so the so just just to kind of clarify that yeah so and this will be based on welfare so on several occasions Imam Malik would say if the welfare is so strong that we would derate make exceptions from Hadith and rulings based on welfare so that is um the whole uh that is a magnificent element of the school of Medina that is almost unrivaled by any other school of thought within Islamic law the other thing is uh that the school of Medina has had a huge
presence within the west and it's produced and it was a school that traditionally um right it's a it's a school that's traditionally uh been acclaimed for critical thought so it's been very critical and it's you know it encourages critical thinking and it and you'll see that it respects diversity this is another added element that you it's difficult to find that in other schools of law the the other thing that uh just going back to it's had a huge presence in the west Muslims Spain
for at least 7 centuries was dominated by Mal the school of Medina Maliki and they produced amazing uh methods of how to live uh in harmonious coexistence with non-muslims so this is why it's also very important for us in the west now I know the Hani maab also has some uh it has huge interactions with non-muslims in Eastern Europe but not in Western Europe and hanfi M has had quite a bit of um also some levels ofan and stuff
like this but the problem has been and I say a problem that I fear and you know I could be people may disagree with me on this but I'm I'm only being factual that the hanfi maab has been hijacked over the centuries but it's been abundantly hijacked the Maliki maab has had several hijack attempts to be hijacked but it's not been successful like it's been partially hijacked and but there's still a strong free spirit to it the hanfi mhab over the recent centuries has been strongly hijacked and it's very rare to find that free spirit in the maab now at
all and the maab is almost an antithesis and an opposite of IM Abu hanifah today and that's not to diss the methab I'm just being honest about it that's all um you know I mean anybody wants to be alhamdulillah but today it's it's it's almost become as uh Dr Sherman Jackson said says that they've undergone a crypto shaiz they've become like very sha or almost borderline copy in their approach of the of attributing infallibility to the Corpus of Hadith and disregarding the voice of reason today so anyway so that's uh some food for thought but definitely the school of
Medina Imam Malik returns to us in this 21st century as a Savia for people who are struggling with Islam um to show us that you see there needs to be a balance not every Hadith right is Gospel okay your Hadith can be how did this guy get how did he get unblocked right so the thing is not every Hadith needs needs warrants action or acceptability and at the same time we are concerned with the Sunnah we do not
abandon the Sunnah so we the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah to us is incredibly important so it's this delicate balance that the school of Medina provides and for anybody interested I've got several lectures like I said the way of Medina in the 21st century on YouTube I've got other lectures about Imam Malik I've got a prayer video uh which is on YouTube on how to pray in accordance with the school of Medina I've got courses audio courses which will also be available on the podcast but I believe are on YouTube as well um where I cover Maliki f in a
very basic um six audio lectures and then in 21's foundations of Islam so these are things you can go through and you've got other people that have done stuff uh in English as well um I mean you'll find it great Stu I know ham Hamza YF has done uh translations and commentaries on certain Works in English as well you can find that as well okay but anyway let's let's move on people let's move on where is Allah Allah H where is Allah yeah I don't know you
know what does Allah mean when he says fear me should we literally fear Him um what did the prophet mean in the Hadith of jel that worship Allah as if you see him okay well first of all right so um where is Allah we've been searching as well cause him to find yeah the thing is look you can't be
looking uh you can't be looking for Allah like I'm looking for him you're not going to find him like that it's not like Lost Property that you're looking for it Allah is not confined by time space by time space um um or any of these kind of parameters that we think okay historically this was there was a difference of opinion torn between um what I would call um okay traditionally the School of
Theology was called H they were H in AA and then you had people like the asari and midis and other people who uh and there was a split between these some people these hes and today modern day salais they feel that Allah has a Direction so he is above the sky above the heavens the heavens are in a direction and he sits on top of them um I mean this is and the other Muslims obviously said you know Allah can't have a direction uh that's crazy because obviously then he's Limited but for some reason this has been a
debate that's gone on for centuries and centuries vast majority of Muslims do not in the world that's probably at 95% of Muslims are probably without knowing it maybe are and M now uh that's of the Sunni sorry right so they um vast majority of Muslims do not believe Allah has an actual direction as far as I'm aware but this I find this to be a silly debate really um I I do find it I'm sorry I do find it absurd to ascribe a direction to Allah like as in he's up there uh you know all the skies are like this and then he's
sitting on top I find that a bit in this in the 21st century it's a bit absurd you're like this old man sitting in the sky you can't believe in things like that today I mean you can you can believe in anything you could believe in the bloody spaghetti monster for all week here but but the it's not the way to really uh you know that kind of a faith will be dismantled within seconds and people it would be a mockery I mean you could not in this day and age believe in stuff like I mean you couldn't Express that kind of belief and not expect it to get ridiculed it would get ridiculed okay
so so I wouldn't advise people to believe that but I mean if they want to believe it they can do do whatever the hell you want believe whatever hell you want right but uh I but that's not what I would generally advise okay so that's answering that question what does Allah say when he asks when sorry when he says fear me what does he mean when he says fear me right Allah is not literally saying uh like he's not saying he's saying which is about having this kind of conscientious
of Allah that that have this of Allah okay so I think that's different to fear Allah does say so whoever fears the the standing in front of but as opposed to fearing it doesn't mean you can't obviously people do fear Allah that's natural and they uh love him and you know but uh but generally when Allah is saying in the Quran he's saying have this kind of conscientiousness uh about about me right so that's that and what did the
prophet mean in the Hadith of jiel well the prophet meant that be aware have this awareness of Allah okay that you uh some people commenting on my hair I think it's I need a haircut but what can I do I'm just so always always running late that's my thing right so so in theith it's lookship
Allah then if you do not people Imam Mark Manley is in the house okay on the online house right there an amazing Imam doing some great stuff in uh the United States so do follow him add him and reach out to him for your questions and stuff right so now so that's the Hadith is simply speaking about having this awareness it doesn't mean you literally see God I'm sure you understand that anyway right next question e 2017 Sunday
or Monday God issue the Mana how do British Muslim forums are saying people must do their right okay we had in the UK because many people here may not be from the UK um right the thing is sorry I'm just reading some of these comments anyway I got to stay focused stay focused God damn it stay focused right so uh in the UK we had this uh chaos uh and confusion over this Eid and where people Switched at the last minute I said that in my understanding and look
previously I have argued and anybody who's aware of my social media thing is with that I've previously argued for regional sightings and doing things like going with Morocco and uh and because it's the nearest Muslim country to us and they've got a a rigorous system and stuff and I have argued this and i' so I I'm aware of these arguments I'm the one that was Bloody making them right so but you see the whole thing about look part of the incredible human journey is that we develop and we our circumstances change and we learn as we go along and it's not that we see I don't see that
opinion to be wrong or anything I I used to I I was a strong advocate of that but I've seen through experience that that what we have is only failing us it doesn't work it does not work that's what I see so I see that look we need a system that will work we need to put efficiency over uh momentarily perspective we in the UK need a system that's efficient because so far because what
happens the moment Saudi Arabia announces people are going to do eat so what should we do I felt this is my humble opinion that it's about time that we move to in the UK and I'm saying about the UK I can't speak for other count in the UK we move towards just pure solely calculations the way turkey does so turkey announces this time if you w if you were checking moonsighting.com and you saw several countries which just announced following Saudi following Saudi following Saudi following so this
year about 30% of them were following turkey so they were saying following turkey following turkey following turkey following turkey and turkey announced Eid based so on calculations not on citing on calculations so the fact that we know that the moon for example it uh for it requires a certain amount of hours to after birth to be on the horizon once we can calculate that we know that this day will be e that allows us to plan way ahead it allows us to avoid confusion it allows us to take off holidays it allows
us to make booking it allows us to get by and it and let's face it s look if it's been calculated Saudi are going to announce it anyway so you know so it's going to end up we're going to get that anyway so let's just go with this so I feel now we should just go purely with calculations and this what I'm saying was argued for over a thousand years by the Sha um ima's strongly advocated this right from over a thousand years ago a very
famous had argued almost 1100 years ago uh and this whole tradition has come through the shaf arguing about how when the Hadith said um you know about the that if you see the and these kind ofi that here and also is synonymously used in Arabic for to know so they would say oh or you know like from an opinion this is the arguing this for centuries this
is nothing new nothing new they've been arguing this for hundreds and hundreds of years based on their calculations back then they said we do not need to physically see the moon as long as we know the Moon is there it's fine now their astronomical equipment is nothing compared to our equipment today we today are spot on there is no you know we they they were arguing for this when they had their equipment way before Galileo and cernus and all of that so today I think look alhamdulillah let's
just kill this argument I saw these debates and and discussions and and I thought look it's not going to work is it because people see Saudi Arabia announcing it they want to they want to do Eid right and and I saw people saying right okay whoever wants to e do e come on this side of the mosque and you come on this [Laughter] side know I got to give it to you for your efficiency and your your style of handling Affairs I mean for God's
sake just make a decision I mean so the thing is look um um yeah I didn't say im shaf I said the shaf M people like and and people after him for a thousand years have been arguing this so somebody there said Imam Shafi didn't debate it and never said IMA I said Thea so so my point is look I think now in enough is enough let's just get a bit organized at the end of the day this is all it's all people it's not I did E on Sunday you do not need to
do if you if somebody if you did it on Sunday that's nonsense this is all F okay let's just give people some breathing space for God's sake you know this is all within the vast parameters of Islam you know okay I get look I myself argued I passionately argued in the years like if you read some of my posts from five years ago I argued for the regional sighting that Morocco and the UK and we share the same Horizon and the same longitudinal uh you know Horizon and the and and GMT timeline and
stuff like this I argued for these so I know all of that look it's not U you don't need to like if people are going to try to show me that I know that I was one of the people arguing but it doesn't work it's failed us so Islam is about making things work and sometimes it means you know just recognizing that look I I like this opinion but this one isn't working for for us here that one is working I may not have liked it but for the uh for you know for the love of making things work for the love of God
let's do this that's what I'm saying so anyway and I hear some Scholars are making an effort to to get certain things going I'm I'm I'm really glad to hear that and um and I am I have to say that uh Gamul uh which is one of the Central masjids in Birmingham and and a key Masjid within the UK known as Gamul Sharif right otherwise known to some people as Sufi abdullah's mosque in Birmingham I absolutely hats off to them for taking a bold stance on this issue despite the kind of criticism that they got and I absolutely admire what they
did and they you know they just stuck their stuck to their guns and they said look fine we're going with it right um so and and I respect that and I really you know hats off to them and you know may Allah preserve them and bless them for for all the good work they're doing right so can guys thread their eyebrows naughty naughty I'm a [Laughter]
but can the question is can they do it whilst wearing high heels right uh yeah you can uh you can you can thread your eyebrows I mean if if you're like Cyclops with like if you like that we like if you like this [Laughter] then definitely please do please please please get it done right so uh let's get back to these questions God
I've lost I've lost the questions let me go get to them right so you can pluck your eyebrows guys can pluck eyebrows girls can pluck eyebrows I've read this thing about this person saying you know women who are doing this they will be in the Hellfire and they will be like this and they will be like that whoa chill out dude well we know who not to give the job of the gatekeeper of Hell [Laughter] to it's amazing how people wish to exercise control and this is one of the problems
about when religion became institutionalized see this is why religious giving people control or authority through religion is a disaster because this is why because people you know when it's different you know if I say I want to do this because I believe in freedoms okay but when I say I want to do this because God has told me to do it oh
[Music] people the gatekeeper right so when I say I want to do this because God has authorized me he has licensed me to to to carry out his work that's a whole next level of a monster you have there that person is very difficult to control now because you're not just arguing against him he from his perspective you're not arguing against him you're arguing against God and the thought of God it gives
people incredible incredible power damn so I um this is why I'm always weary of you know when power is associated with religion I I don't like it I don't like it because it's because in if it's in the hands of good people alhamdulillah but it's way too volatile and vulnerable it's way too vulnerable right let's get on to the next question ah damn I keep losing these
questions right okay let's right where are these questions gone people here they are all right let's get moving let's get through some of these all right some salams here Robin Adam the Mal obligatory for those living in a city no matter the distance as long as a Masid exists in the city yeah I mean there is some I think there's some difference amongst some people today saying that um is Juma an
obligation uh for all people I know historically the general understanding is if you a traveler um then you were exempt or if you're ill uh but for men it was considered an obligation the disagreement is is J more uh is J more a political statement made by Islam is does it have more a political function that's a better word is the function more political or more worship so those who feel that
uh so uh those people who feel and some people I know contemporary Scholars some have said that because it was more a political statement a function than a worship so in non-muslim countries it's good to do but they felt that the obligation wasn't as high in that sense that's I think that's a it's it's a lowlevel minority disagreement within within this but generally people would say it is an obligation for men and and for women they it's they're welcome to pray but it's not an
obligation if someone converts to Islam but they celebrated Christmas their entire life is it permissible for them to continue celebrating Christmas uh F Fatima I'm not sure what celebrating here means if you mean celebrating in a Christian religious sense like I am celebrating that um Jesus Christ Our Savior our Lord was born in you know then obviously that goes against Islam and that kind of stuff goes against your whole belief if you mean by that you know since you come
from a non-muslim family uh your your family will be still having a get together and they want to get some food and they're going to have a turkey and they're going to have can you go join them of course you can join them of course you can and can you wish them Merry Christmas of course you can wish them Merry Christmas I've got a whole article on this um it's on my Facebook save notes I think I called it um Tinsel in a tangle something like that but uh right so what are your views on the perturbation Theory all right is that you amaras are you asking about lass's
uh theory about the solar system and the gravitational pull uhhuh nauy nauy if that's what you're talking about uh but right so coming back to this Christmas it's absolutely fine like that as a religious function obvious it's it's it's not okay but but if you're celebrating it not as a religious function but as you used to be a non-muslim and you've got family and you want to go to the dinner and you want to give them gifts and you want to take gifts from them um then by all means I feel that is absolutely fine people like Abdullah Bin have given that ruling uh who is an amazing scholar uh
and other and you can read my uh note on it I've included uh several other scholars in there as well salamak has said what's your take on same-sex marriage and the possible existence of aliens well baky I must say I'm quite flattered I never really expected this uh question from you that to life I must say it's [Laughter]
uh right so the thing is well well [Laughter] Bakery right okay samesex marriages there's another question here on St look there's the second question by haris Salam is there any scope any scope is there any for same-sex marriage to be legalized in Islamic countries yeah haris you two two people on one
night I have attained Nana the so and I think there's another question question as well about this okay so I've got let's right so homosexuality within Islam H right well first of all right well first of all people yeah yeah coming back to pling eyebrows and this is where I tell you
this would be awesome if if I could do the Snapchat filters right now and put on the one with the lipstick and the that would be awesome to answer this question like that God my haters would have a field day they' be like see look at him he's resembling women the the this cursed in Islam you cursed you go to Janam
God ah ah for people like that in the hero after I I wonder if there'll still be special needs in the if they'll still be part of the special needs in the AK as well there's like a special needs category for that kind of people they've got an interpreter right so anyway coming back to this question now homosexuality is obviously not allowed in Islam nor in any major uh organized religion but there's a lot more to this
and I'd like to add to that um you see the thing is that we today especially in the west Muslims seem to become incredibly homophobic and I don't know why they're doing that it makes Z zero sense you cannot be homophobic people in Islam okay you have what I mean by homophobic is this expression of hatred and this kind of like vile venomous hatred and and anger and you want to like attack or you want to persecute or you want to uh
anybody who's gay or stuff like you can't look people have the right to live their own lives if you don't want to be gay don't be gay personally I can't understand why people would want I mean would want to be gay and Le like if you're a man the whole I mean just beauty is epitomized in in woman and I can't understand how you wouldn't but that said if people want to be gay that's their life you have no right no Authority in Islam to persecute to kind
of have this active venomous hatred towards and I ask you why why do you have such hatred and and they definitely and if they're Muslim and they're gay right if they're Muslim and they're gay they can they're not cfirs can people stop chucking people out of Islam you know it's like I read on Facebook the other day that there was the first uh Muslim to get married in a civil marriage like gay marriage in in the Midlands in in the Midlands in the UK um some Asian guy and there was some white
guy with him now and people were like what the hell he's not a Muslim he's a cfir and you're thinking whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa easy easy tiger easy I mean before you just start to Chuck people out of the fold of Islam and you know I just I just like to remind you one tiny tiny tiny little little bit that this is not your dad's Dean you can't just Chuck people out of it for God's sake you can't just Chuck people out of Islam you know your dad didn't own this Dean of Islam the last time I checked unless in the last few
minutes before I came live he kind of he bought the domain then you can let me know but the last time I checked you didn't have that choice so and the thing is that look in Islam let's face it historically there has been a huge tradition huge tradition of bisexuality and of pederasty of which still continues till today homosexuality it's full you know in our literature we have so much of this stuff
honestly I'm not I'm sorry to offend you if this is going to I'm sorry to break burst your bubble but okay let I tell you what let me share some of it with you since we're okay let's go right back did you know let's begin with in the time of bunny um the first dynasty within aund within a 100 Years of the Prophet yeah you have the first dynasty of the bani the the ruler Al ya Abdul Malik who
was a a ruler of you know of the Islamic empire he was a known homosexual a known homosexual when he died you can check this zabi writes clearly he says he was somebody known for homosexuality his own brother San who takes over after him he says in his famous he says that and he tried it on with me he tried to get this this was bani umya the first dynasty when we move on into the second dynasty of Islam
which is the abids which begins in 131 H which is just over a 100 years almost after the prophet Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam has passed away it becomes an ex a wellknown widespread social phenomenon homosexuality and ped that is Elder men with with kind of teenage boys this was a known thing we didn't like the way the Greeks had it this was known the rulers look at that Amin the son you've all heard of harun Rashid Amin and M both of his sons Amin
was a known homosexual he was God he was so homosexual that he wasn't even interested in his slave girls at all you know the ones that his har full of like all these kind of concubines he used to say I'm not interested in any girls he was only interested in the boys this was a known thing about him he was so known about this uh I mean you can read this his brother M when he takes over although he was he wasn't he was well into his women well he was well into his women but he was also bisexual and he has and there was a time when he was obsessed over
this particular slave boy and it's known about him he appoints in his time there's a famous scholar of Islam famous scholar known as very famous scholar of Islam who was a stu who was amongst the teachers of bukari and people like that he was the student of people like Abdullah suan great great Scholars contemporaries of Imam Malik their students he wasn't a student of Imam Malik but they his contemporaries he openly Justified homosexuality in his time he actually said he went to the
extent to say the Quran supports it I mean obviously I I disagree with him as did most Muslims but he was a known scholar he said the verse of the Quran that says uh he says that Allah says that men it has been shahat passionately desires have been made beloved to them of women and boys he says Allah says it in the Quran this was his he became a supreme judge with M mmon was very close to him he becomes a supreme judge and was known
for his homosexuality rampant homosexuality he was like he I mean was so known about it this was and after him he succeeded maon when he URS the end of his life mmon he kind of removes him from this judge position that was not it was not because of his homosexuality it was because M believed the Quran was created and stood side by side with Ahmed IM Ahmed and in this fight against this that the Quran was uncreated and because
of that M moon was really annoyed with him and and he kind of uh and he removes him from his post but who does he replace him with Muhammad Abu da another known homosexual he has his famous book on love which uh his book uh a zah was written for the guy he writes his name in it he says I'm madly in love with you it was a boy it was a guy that he was writing about now nobody people who CR yes people criticize but they at the same time rated him I mean he was he was known as a scholar
this is this is our own this is our Legacy look in his time one of the most known renowned Islamic Poets of Islamic Legacy uh Abu noas who was a contemporary of uh of and he unnown most of his poetry is about homosexuality he and he and he was not he was an Islamic scholar as well and the thing is in his time when somebody said to him uh they said to him you know they said to him uh that may Allah marry
you the the The Virgins of paradise and what was his response he said he said he said I want the that Allah speaks about in the Quran and this was known about him his poetry is so well known I mean he is rated as one of the best Poets of that Islam has produced he he's rated amongst the top poets now in fact he has a poem I mean he has so many poems but wait there he has this
one where he begins it by saying he says Anin Anin that's it I he says I am a known homosexual and my Dean is one ah what did he say what does he say man D come but but the following line he begins it by saying
that and I am upon the dean of that and he says uh what and and anybody who who is after Zena with with girls I don't I don't they're not my crowd I mean this is part of our literature it's it's all in our stuff this is so um it was so well known this is why I'm he was M after him you had
uh you had was known there was um MIM one Theif of ABI he brought purchased up to 4,000 Turk he he had this thing for Turks feel sorry for the Turks right he purchased up to 4,000 Turkish concubine boys and was known for this guys when people go on about this kind of stuff they they have no idea what our heritage is our books are full of they're full of
the Poetry so much of even what the scholars write about is bisexual poetry it's it's all in the it's all in the books all these Scholars right IAM in his book on love has a whole section just speaking about bisexual kind of like homosexual stuff and and the reason I'm mentioning this and you and you have so much poetry is a great place to see but you have other books and you'll have stories about people and you you'll have in the time of the mamluk dynasty this was so well known that a scholar and and look I'm not saying other people didn't condemn this some Scholars did condemn
it as well but it was so widely it was a social phenomenon in the mamluk uh era somebody wrote that it's so widespread homosexuality is in our time he said that it's so diff ult finding people who are not involved in this but they W I suppose their homosexuality was slightly different to what it is today today it's like an exclusive there was more kind of bisexuality but what I'm trying to say is they yes they accept I'll tell you what's interesting as well J has a whole
book discussing bisex discussing which is better as a sexual partner guys or girls and and he writes this and he begins by saying that uh okay let this is why he begins and he was a great scholar of Islam he begins by saying look let's put Halal and Haram aside and let's take a look at which is better a guy or a girl as a sexual partner and then he eventually he concludes by saying I suppose a girl is better I mean for God's sake I'm thinking wow took you that long to conclude that
sorry somebody just said stop the lies whoa chill out dude this is all in the books I'm not lying about this you can even find this on Google this is why why would I lie about this just open Iam's Books open these books they're all full of this kind of stuff and you know what's interesting I I quoted these Scholars they were so known about this stuff there was a famous thing I read once where with that one a when he got removed from his post the K that came after him they said that you know we're so glad you're here that uh he is somebody who will not be uh corrupt as
in they said your your wealth and your rights are safe with him because he's not kind of corrupt and he said sorry and somebody else said and it was he said and even your boys because the other judge was just so on it and these kind of things look I'm telling you this stuff why I know this is going to be a shock I'm not trying to justify that these although some of those people did try to justify and they said Islam accepts it but I'm not saying that Islam as a religion doesn't accept
it but we need to chill out with this kind of um whole homophobia this kind of hatred this kind of like these attack acts and these kind of this is unacceptable by Islam people uh you know if they if they want to live their life in a particular way that's them okay but I was I was quoting this to show you this is how the Heritage has been if you read our books it's got so much stuff in there that's just like whoa but sometimes look and this is Scholars have to now Scholars either you're going to get those kinds those Scholars who have
don't know because they've never studied outside the syllabus or you'll get those Scholars who do know and will for example choose to hide this stuff and not ex not kind of reveal it or you'll get some people who just be transparent and just say look okay this does exist right now uh so this is how you um and even until today look let's face it man like even places like Afghanistan the culture of Baba you know you just need to go on Netflix or YouTube and watch these documentaries about Bazi where there's there's one
warlord and he's been boasting about how he has over his time purchased up to 3,000 Bas and this is now in our day and age and in Pakistan this is rampant Saudi Arabia God forbid to Saudi Arabia it's like a pandemic you know you know so what I'm trying to say is that look people these issues yes they're issues they need to be handled but what I'm trying to say is you can't have this approach of trying to push off this
hatred under the banner of Islam when we've got no idea what our own culture has are books of full of this kind I I remember sh Jonathan Brown wrote an article where he highlighted this kind of stuff and people went for him I mean wow you know shik Jonathan Brown is an amazing amazing scholar and and you know once again doesn't mean you we always have to agree on things but he's you know I highly respect him for for his works and stuff and he highlighted this in one of his uh articles about homosexuality and how it doesn't make sense of people's attitudes today and it's usually Muslims in the
west that have this and in my understanding they have this I think and this is from the the psychologist in me that this is because deep down they're insecure about their own sexuality cuz deep down I I feel that they fear that they themselves are homosexual or they have maybe homosexual tendencies and this is why they hate so much against certain people so so just to answer that look yes although Islam doesn't as a religion uh accept this other religions don't but it doesn't allow this kind of hatred to be
pedal okay um so and people might say yeah but that's a sin in Islam and it is considered a sin but my point is look it's not for you to be judging other people you worry about yourself I ask you that look why is it why is it that you don't have the same hatred for gamblers the gambling is a sin you don't have the same hatred for drug dealers you look up to drug dealers you don't have the same hatred for gangsters
or for uh I don't know uh you don't have the same hatred for people who are you know abusive that's Haram you don't have the same hatred for people why is it that this is Select Ed hatred for a particular crime and that's why I feel it's more psychological but I hope I answered some of the the reason I went into this is to show you that what are history contained okay it's not to I'm not trying to make Islam look bad I don't believe Islam is
awesome Islam is what makes us awesome okay but what some people are trying to do is they're trying to block the amazing V Ness and the compassion of Islam and that that's not right that's why it's important to cover these kind of things okay right so anyway let's let's let's go on right was or a some groups accept his Hadith others don't can you elaborate right okay the thing is uh here we're not talking about this several EAS one is for example the son
of Abu jahal his name is who was a sahabi and he Embraces Islam after the fat of Makkah this is not that ikrama this is ikrama who was a servant ofn Abbas and then later he's free he's an independent person he leaves Abbas and he becomes he is not only was he part of thear he was actually one of the leading the heads of his kind of of these movements in his day and age and he had some horrid views very kind of violent aggressive views this is why IM Malik did not like at all and where possible
refuse to mention his name in some places he has mentioned his name but in other places he omits his name and and they say this is y this is AB the M of Abbas the servant ofn Abbas now he uh and they say that's because he he had this hatred towards normal Muslims and used to consider many normal Muslims as cfir and stuff like this and and what's interesting is he happens to transmit a lot of these Hadith to do with killing this is why I find it problematic to accept his Hadith that
are to do with killing not other Hadith but to do with killing because the M say that if a person is representing a Hadith that supports his M his kind of way then that you got to take it with a assault now thear are known andar is like karism is a virus that can be found amongst many groups um but in those days today is like people who become excessive in their hat in this kind of religious hatred um that and they usually lead
to and and they in they're different and they could have strands I don't think they just they weren't just one people now in his day and age he transmits the Hadith of burning people he transmits the Hadith of the apostates need to be killed right this is from right he transmits the Hadith of um of the the person getting up and just killing his his wife and doing this and that because he felt she was having an affair and these kind of things you see
transmits a lot of these Bloodshed kind of Hadith and the problem is he was part of a group that believed that Muslims were cfirs and or they could easily become cfirs and therefore are worthy of Bloodshed of being killed so we have to take in my understanding this with the pinch assault and that's why I you know the fact that IM Malik uh did not like itan did not like his narrations I I'm totally in line with Imam Malik so I do not um support that kind of um that his
rat that are that that Harbor any extremism okay so he was known as he was a known extremist and anything that Harbors extremism coming from him needs in my opinion cannot be accepted okay and that's what how Imam Malik and other people today feel as well right okay what does for the sake of Allah mean exactly does it mean doing a good deed or out of desire to gain um I mean it just means being charitable doing something pro bono uh when people say do this for the sake of Allah it depends some people are doing it because
they just can't be bothered to pay [Laughter] you other things may be genuine so I'm not sure what that means it could it could mean a hundred different things somebody asked will I accept his narrations that don't harb extremism I would if uh as long as they corroborated and they fall within the normal parameters of General Islamic teachings so if he said something odd which is coming just from him and it's harboring extremism then I wouldn't if he said something which fits in like let's say he said something about I'm just saying as an example let's say he said oh uh
you know Muslims should uh you know fear Allah or Muslims should uh give charity or Muslims should um begin you know fast vigilantly and like this kind of stuff is a message which is a general Message of Islam so there's no problem in accepting something like that bash saying they don't bother to pay but that's true though you know people will use [Music] this and you think think
well uh okay so but it depends I mean don't get me wrong I mean sometimes there's genuine things which are for the sake of Allah but you know some some things it's just a joke like people will expect other people to drop everything just because they say oh this should be for the sake of Allah I mean the world doesn't work like that you know we can't just spring the Islam and the Allah card whenever we want it hey I'm going to put down an Allah card now you know you got uh tough luck mate you know that doesn't the world doesn't work like that you know you can't have a I'm going to pay my they're asking for my council tax sorry mate I'm going to put down the Allah
card you know doesn't work like that I'm afraid so uh am I the only scholar in my f in my family yes I am I'm the only scholar in my family right so right could you focus on the difference between worship by law and worship by personality imitation of other people and the dangers of it I'm not sure what that means Junior the guy's name is Junior I'm not just calling him Junior uh I mean people worshiping by imitation I'm not sure what that does that mean
like imitating your parents to pray or imitating your teachers or celebrities Scholars or I don't know I mean people as human beings we will always imitate and behavior is modeled so we will model uh our behavior from other people we will do that as human beings I I think look just as long as you're open-minded and you pick up things that's fine but just I'm not sure exactly the context I don't know what else to say about that could you elaborate on the importance of having ease in the dean why do you think it's a superior way to go this cannot be overstressed okay this cannot be overstressed
Islam the prophet said in a the prophet said he said he said it three times that the best of your Dean is the most easiest people this is in another Hadith the prophet said this is a dean of ease anybody trying to tell you otherwise do not do not let them fool you okay some people they you see you've got to watch my other talks I don't want to go into about the ontology of religion people
have an ontology where they feel like a like a preconceived perception of religion I'm calling that an ontology of religion that they feel religion ought to be about suffering this is before they know anything about religion that's religion with a capital R so they think religion is about sacrifice suffering uh asceticism giving up this world anti- desires anti- entertainment this is before even knowing about religion uh so what happens is for these people they will natur there's a confirmation bias they will read into anything about hardship and they will
teach and preach this that is not the message of the messenger of Allah his message was one of ease I cannot overemphasized that okay so and in a Hadith uh the prophet it his wife said the prophet was never given a choice between two things except he chose the easiest one and some people Guilt Trip peat others they try to Guilt Trip them into saying oh to follow the easy to follow your
desires sorry that's my impersonation of follow the follow the ear is to follow your desires it's not quite my friend I don't think I don't think that's quite how it works you've got no [Laughter] I you've got no idea about my [Music] desires it's just an abyss okay I do not want to introduce you to my desires my friend if you think that is what my desires are
about I mean I'm thinking boy does this guy have a good impression of me he's thinking that's my desires wo oh no they're in a dark and terrible place they they're in a monstrous place my desires this is religion my friend when I'm thinking should I combine the prayers should I do this should I you know can I I don't know cut my hair like this can I do this can I this I'm see religion right now I'm not
seeking desires my friend you know can I do this whilst I'm fasting can I do that uh this is religion desires oh that's a whole different whoa that's something w words fall short it's like there's a there's a gate and it says words cannot go beyond this point that's where my desires begin
but I commend you for thinking so well of me I'm I'm impressed I'm flattered actually I feel almost embarrassed to not own up to to these kind of desires now and to claim them yeah that's my desires I I just want to know should I pay zakat right now or should I pay zakat tomorrow [Laughter] anyway anyway right so guys where are we whoa all right can I do uh next question can I do from the mind of a mu session on
the of okay Perhaps inshallah Perhaps Perhaps when does the time forat I'm not sure what Ash is begin according to school one Shadow length or it should say or two lengths generally it is one Shadow length uh it's it's what most the schools of La go with uh so it's the the school of Medina Maliki School the hanafi sorry um IM sha it's it's fine there isn't a big difference between it anyway so don't worry about it marar
Adrian Adrians that's like from look at that God my I'm trying to it's closed on me ah let me get back there right so question being asked right I've close the ah when this happens ah God the agony the agony of touch phones right right okay so let's get back to this right okay what I want to know how's your view on same sex a lot of questions today on same sex people well
I've answered that in quite some depth I hope that's of some support and some help do I advocate its Acceptance in the Islamic world you see I think the Islamic world is just uh the Muslim world I don't know about Islamic world it's got its other challenges and and and I think what I do Advocate is to respect the the rights of other people even if you disagree with them okay and what I do Advocate is the impermissibility uh and the condemnation to cause harm onto any other individual right I condemn that
wholeheartedly uh I mean by all means I mean you can believe and you know I I I I to me as a as a as generally as a person I mean I'm generally as far as I'm aware straight the thing is to to I mean I would find it who that people are that people are so wow it's shocking how how they choose to abstain from God's gift to man I I don't know but um but then to convey that into hatred is unacceptable okay so that's my point okay today there was this thing in in on
social media about this child born and the father had registered the child genderless which was an odd thing and I found it odd and I thought boy you're going to make this child go through Agony but I mean but people were really going at this person like what the hell the world coming to godamn it like whoa chill out relax you know like I mean why is it bothering you so much for God's sake I mean you can find it weird don't get me wrong you have the right to find things weird when they're weird find them weird
but don't kind of like unleash on people that that right we don't have okay what are your thoughts onik uik people is a book it's a commentary written by zakar kandal on the M of IM Malik it's in many volumes and as far as I'm aware it's good there's a lot of good things said about it I haven't studied it in depth um but I know he's this quoting from other Maliki Scholars and and he's done a great job so you know may Allah reward him for his efforts right next question what is the purpose of life whoa [Music]
dude some Scholars says to worship Allah some say to spread the message of Islam your opinion on purpose of life okay first of all I just want to digress here right um this thing about spreading The Message of Islam and this Islam Islam sometimes we need to chill out a bit with this stuff right I got this message going around the other day this WhatsApp message and it annoyed me it it was like did you know the the mayor of London is Muslim and the mayor of this place is Muslim and this is Muslim and Muslims have done this and there this many quantity of Muslims now and and
alhamdulillah we've done this and we've done this and this is in the UK and I thought look what are you doing Islam is not a numbers game Islam is not a numbers game people right alhamdulillah there are a lot of Muslims as it is okay in the world we you know we probably under two billion which is a hell of a lot chill out with this trying to shove Islam everywhere it's annoying a lot of non-muslims and quite rightly so that kind of a message I actually told the person after that sent it I said do not send this kind of stuff this
kind of stuff God damn it is what is triggering islamophobia this kind of stuff is contributing to the hatred against Muslims to the attacks against innocent people The Surge we've seen in disgusting vile acid attacks this kind of BS is what is contributing to that stop it stop trying to what the hell are you celebrating what what you were Muslim anyway relax for God's sake what do you mean like oh we've got this this many people become Muslim oh by the Year this much we will be this much percent by the Year this much we will by the year 2070 for God say you'll be dead
probably in 2070 chill the hell out relax for God's sake Allah says if Allah wanted he would have made everybody a Believer right look relax alhamdulillah if somebody comes to Islam that's beautiful I I you know I love that but it does not you know this kind of like counting numbers crunching data shoving in front of people trying to reassure ourselves this kind of this gang it isn't like it look we're not insecure you know we're not like if there were like 10 Muslims in the world I could understand this bloody we like 2
billion almost like one out of every five people on the planet relax relax yourself right stop spreading this kind of stuff it's it's wrong and I seriously honestly hand on my heart believe hand on my heart believe that it is not only antithetic antithetical against The Message of Islam I believe that kind of stuff like that is forbidden in Islam it is Haram you are causing harm to Muslims and Islam and I believe that kind of stuff is completely a
violation of the compassion that the messenger of Allah taught about this sacred message so I would say look stop doing this kind of stuff just chill out chill out we're Muslim alhamdulillah we're Muslim man just chill I mean but the way you know it's an irony because half of these people on one hand are trying to Chuck everybody out of Islam you cir cfir cfir cfir cfir oh alhamdulillah 10 new people embraced Islam allahar by next week we're chucking them out as well I
mean it's like m j said in one of his talks he said he said yeah you know like these people they keep calling everybody cfers he said yeah not do we have a shortage of KU that everybody trying to just so right let's move on would you be so kind to share the for in the school of Madina is raising the hands before you go into Ru and out of Ru uh I've I've explained that in my uh my YouTube video on how to pray uh according to the school of Medina it's the same Hadith
same Hadith which is there's plenty of to do with um there were many books countless books okay inar by other sahab as well right some some people claim that human evolution is compatible with the Quran and Hadith and the creation of account of Adam is metaphorical does the language of the Quran and Hadith permit this interpretation Ali right okay well I do believe in evolution um the thing is what does evolution mean okay now we have you see the way we see this
is we have a clear verse of the Quran clear verse of the Quran right which in which Allah states that that Allah says in the Quran uh and he created everything from and from water from this kind of source this this liquid this water every Everything of Life emerged and uses the word not not not created he
placed so Allah this is a verse of the Quran Allah teaches us clearly that all of life has a single source of origin single source of origin for the whole of Life plants trees animals fish Birds humans everything we have a single source of life that's a verse of the Quran now how did we diversify that's for us to figure out that's for us that's our journey to discover it okay Allah just told us that
we have a single source of life so we Embrace that all of life evolved from a single source of origin that's what I believe that's a verse of the Quran right so somebody's asking me so Allah made the reptilians and dinosaurs hell yeah I mean no that was no the dinosaurs were made by Zeus but the rest Allah made no it's not that that it's Allah it's not that he made these things like this but he set about life and then we believe in a Creator and we believe in I believe in evolution that evolved now
the question is how did Adam come about well I don't know was there some kind of miracle that was well I believe there must there was something miraculous about Adam unquestionably right how did that happen I don't know but maybe Scholars can start working on this but the problem is we can't even seem to work on it like Jamal Lani said in the time of Darwin he said we believe exactly what you believe he read his Origin of Species Darwin and he said we believe exactly what you believe except we just said Adam was a miracle but the rest was the same but my point is that was 150 years ago we could
have worked on that but what happens we've regressed and we've kind of stamp down on anybody trying to and I read this scholar this Saudi scholar Asim Asim Alim the Cy I think he's in America or Canada I could be wrong one of those places but he's on Twitter what I mean why people ask this person questions about Islam I mean wow do you know all it is really in Islam it's just really just to wear a th uh have a long beard wrap some
Saudi tablecloth around your head and and that's it really you will never be questioned about your credentials you could look like me and it doesn't matter what credentials you have you won't be accepted so this guy recently had this whole thanks an I love it too right so the thing is damn out of a drink craving right so the thing is that look so he had this whole Fiasco this whole thing going on about Rihanna and
some Saudi uh Aristocrat and and how he was refusing to say they're committing anything wrong and that's hanging out he goes this is not doing Zena having adultery because basically people called him out they put this picture of ran and uh this guy Saudi kind of uh luminary figure and uh he's an influential Saudi figure so this guy basically can't speak out against him so he puts him on there and somebody says that well what do you have to say about this is this fornication do you condemn this so so he respond name in some swimming pool so he says that's just hanging out so the comments were
hilarious so people were like well I just want to hang out too and and then he and then he says this say something like Zena is fourth base this is just third base right so we do not call this Z so somebody said don't worry she we'll let you know when he when he scores a home run and he's refusing to condemn this guy because this is the hypocrisy of these people isn't it but this is what I mean you see power and authority in the hands of religious people this is why it's a problem unless they're cool
people I mean somebody like she AMF that's that's somebody you could disagree with but he's amazing I mean if he now he's somebody who wouldn't assume power because he knows what this things but if he had power you could trust but people like this they just they're just hypocritical I mean they just and then he's going on and he's bashing people and they're coming back and for but anyway why I got on to him uh yeah he said somebody said about Evolution and he said huh your forefathers might have come from an ape but mine didn't
ah okay genius aim Alim nobody say he come from EP okay now the evolution more evolve you know it's a common descent no no from a okay it's called DNA it's called genetics you know you know fourth base fourth base you got to I mean what the hell is wrong with you of course first of all Evolution does not say we came from monkeys okay it speaks about common descent common descent it does not say we came from monkeys it says monkeys all
mammals all whether you know homonid came from a common descent that's what it's saying it's not saying we came from them secondly that in this particular Point obviously you're not going to see things like that that that's not how s that's not how it works that's like saying if you did not know science or did not have if you let's say you weren't exposed to how humans are born right let's just say somebody showed you sorry excuse me for the the graphics here people but if somebody showed you sperm and said well humans come out of that you wouldn't believe
them I mean would you think yeah uh I came yeah I came out of that would you think that you wouldn't think that you would think no way I didn't come out of this let's face it come on apart from the fact that we know this to be biologically true but you wouldn't accept you wouldn't accept that you came from just some some liquid some slimy liquid you wouldn't accept that you would think hell no look look at me what you oh so where did the bones come from so where did this come from then how come there's no bones in there so my point is look relax yourself
Allah has said in the Quran that all life has a single source of origin that is the Quran now how it Diversified is your journey Allah doesn't have to tell you everything just go figure and if you can't figure it out just shut up and sit aside and if you don't look if you don't know the answer that's fine but don't stop guilt tripping people into saying you're going against God they're not going against God right they're not going against God
so right okay Abu zay's here asking a question Evolution has massive ly been developed and progressed in the last few decades a huge thing today for for evolution is genetics and DNA it's much more than fossils what Darwin said Darwin was a great figure in this science but he today evolution is not necessarily what Darwin said there's no point refusing just refuting just Darwin today a lot of things Darwin said have not been accepted in evolution because science today shows otherwise okay so that's that's fine I mean I'm
I'm not saying and I never said what Darwin says we accept Darwin I said Evolution that now how the question is well how did people how did Adam come I don't know was there a miracle involved most likely I would believe okay that's an element of faith I would believe so but it's our journey to discover that it's not Allah's business to tell us everything Allah didn't tell us how medicine works and how this works and that work we had to figure it out but this kind of an attitude stops people from figuring things out you know somebody asked the question about
permutation gravitational Theory you know that that is that's a great point because Newton look at Isaac Newton Isaac Newton when he was calculating the whole gravitational pull of the of the of the solar system and there was everything was awesome except there was some glitches and he couldn't figure them out so what what did he do Isaac Newton who was a legend legend and he said well oh that's okay because every once in a while God God reconfigures the system so because he couldn't explain it he said well God does it so he said this is all
fine I've explained like let's say 99% but this 1% well you see every once in a while God will just re configure the system he'll just fit it back in just make sure it's going according to plan now llas who comes up with this perturbation gravity gravity kind of theory the thing is he exp he looks at his calculations and figures out well actually there's a calculation here and he figures out no the Theory actually fits it's not it doesn't need divine intervention the theory works this is how the patterns actually work so when Napoleon
invited llas who was a French uh physicist of his time naturalist what they used to call them but he when he asks him that why didn't you say you know I don't see you uh you don't mention the Creator in this and his point was that he said sir I his wording was I I didn't see a need for such a hypothesis meaning that the system works he still believed in God God in belief is the one who has set these laws in motion so we believe that these laws of life these laws of biology the laws of physics the laws of these things were
set into motion by God and as Allah says Okay so the thing just to explain that Taylor Paul saying black Asian white are evolution in order whoa whoa some proper are you for real right okay let's uh move on to some other questions right could you explain what one in the Quran mean well this is speaking
about that everything has a commitment to God in its own way whether you know it or don't know it you know things in their own way ex have this commitment these things are part of life and they have a commitment to God that's what Allah is saying in in the Quran about whether it's the the kind of stars in in in the in the heavens above or the or the trees as life on Earth they have a commitment uh to God and it's kind of showing that well human humans with their Free Will can be ungrateful
okay think about if we evolved as humans which humans were first uh right okay okay uh right okay the thing is look it's not about when you say which humans were first humans means the genus homo in that sense and there's obviously this is a whole homins so includes all homins but if you're talking about Homo saen well Homo Sapien the original this um anatomical uh human as we know uh modern human was from Africa what does that mean does that mean he was African as in
looked African today or not or we don't know exactly I mean we don't we we get some you know people have some uh idea in anthropology and uh and stuff like this in archaeology but that we don't exactly know right but the point is look color is only skin deep okay you know it's no it's no big deal like you know people who make color into a big deal are absolutely I know people hate me using this word but they are I mean they they don't this is it's it's pathetic in the 21st century that color should be a a big deal you know your color what color are you I
mean isn't it great that we're different and diverse as human beings some you know if if you're speaking of black people white people brown people all all sorts of Shades in between Allah says well in the diversity of your Shades and your tongues your languages are signs of the Divine so I mean this this is great that people are different it gives us you know gives us diversity I mean to be this shallow in this day and age is ridiculous right
so right so I'm just saying Taylor because you know you're trying to come out with this uh um this thing about a African Asian whatever they however but this is right watch some documentaries on Evolution on you know Homo sapiens coming out and the whole cognitive Revolution and how the the whole thing there's so much to go through I mean obviously I can't share too much here right okay is there a Hadith which says that a person this is referring to is somebody who cut severs his bonds with his relatives or his friend family
and things like this now uh M mentioning about The Simpsons awesome right yes I mean this is speaking about unjustly cutting and severing your bonds uh sorry severing bonds with your your kind of relationships um with with family with stuff like this sometimes it's not talking about where it's difficult sometimes relationships can be awkward and sometimes families can be incredibly weird and diff difficult to maintain and and that's understandable that's not what this Hadith is talking about okay so I know
Asians we've got some crazy family issues um and so people sometimes don't get on with so and so and they don't get on with so and so and um look if you can be polite that that I think at the at least try to be polite if you can keep some link it's great if you can't then just don't be kind of V towards people and you don't need to constantly be seeing people if you don't get on with them okay this Hadith is not referring to such a people it's referring to those people who are being unjust in this like let's
say I don't know like you have a duty towards somebody and you're just blanking them like somebody's desperately in need of you like your parents are in critical shape and they you know and they need you and you oh can't be bothered or your children are like that no I can't be bothered or this is referring to them it's uh it's kind of criticizing them this Hadith is next question if I combine Salah do I have to combine the second of the Salah immediately after the first or is it to perform the first Salah and then get on with something else and then no you can combine both that's fine you can combine them together H that's a good question
um um right so is there any justification for mosques to say that young boys have to pray in the back rolls uh they just do that to stop noise usually and stuff like that but no you can pray uh um you can pray wherever you you know they can pray there but they just say that because one to reduce noise chaos and also to keep the kind of um rhythm of Rhythm or I don't know the the kind of um just to have that structure of prayer and plus in the front row if if the Imam was to break his prayer somebody could
step forward and Lead it um uh right so okay just to kind of uh right whoa there been so much going on there's some questions here about the Mahi and stuff like this in Islam look um and Isa coming back Jesus the return of the Messiah you see you know these things are not as who was one of the leading Maliki Legends in the sh Islam of the last century writes in his book and and other people have written as well this is not from the Creed it's
not a matter of creed this is what they say Islamic information he calls it Islam he says it's not from and other people as well who strongly believe in all these kind of things but um I mean like people like uh shwi for example who strongly believed in stuff like this in isaam returning and in the Mah and stuff like this he said that look A belief in this does not increase your Iman by the slightest and disbelief in this does not decrease your Iman the these are the the thing is there has been a difference of
opinion on these kind of things uh within Sunni uh scholarship vast majority of Muslims have felt and believe believed that there will be a Mahi this uh towards the end of time other Scholars have questioned that um you know people like uh he denied this categorically said this was uh you know just like a belief that Muslims had kind of this was not he did not accept it because there is no clear conclusive authentic Hadith about a Mahi there's Hadith which are clear but they're not conclusive oh sorry they're not uh sound and their sound
Hadith which are not conclusive I'm not say people said okay but we put them together and we're going to believe in it but obviously disagreed with that uh other people follow took his lead as well and they they followed and some people didn't believe in it some people many people did some people didn't believe to do with IM transmits in his T that according to One Transmission of Imam Malik that he died in in the earth he died uh Jesus lived and died on Earth he said that this was one of the Transmissions from IM Malik um this was also what fi writes it's whatam says he
believes it's right what several people believed these kind of things that the issue is that and some people from the later Century like the last century and just before the likes how who have written on this of people like uh uh you've got Abu zah I mean starting with people like Muhammad Abdul Rashid you've got people like uh Abu Zahra thear mustafi you've got uh these kind of people they've written on these kind of topics if and they've highlighted
they've felt um that this was and shal and other people there was there was others as well who said that Jesus will not come back to there is no second coming of Jesus now that is most that's not been the majority belief of Muslims um that's been a you know it's a minor but I believe it is these are that they're not like sh or they're not like you know nons Sunni Scholars people like Abu zahar shal you know Mustafa Mari all of these major the ofar
in his time you know Rashid the ofar Muhammad Abu and other people even and this is what even writes in his in in his he says that IM Malik said according to the one of his Transmissions that Isa lived and died on Earth uh that Jesus but he also writes in his other book that this the belief in the m and Jesus coming and these things are not a core part of a they are what he calls islamia Islamic information that if you believe in it that's good I mean it's you it's good alhamdulillah but if you don't believe in it it does not impact your Islam this
is what he said and all these even those like I quoted shwi who strongly supported uh the beliefs wrote this so I would say look these things within Islam there is there is a lot more diversity within sunah than sometimes we allow to show there's a lot of censorship that goes on people control a lot like they they'll and they intimidate people they say things like oh if you don't believe this you're a cfir oh oh you don't or a person doesn't believe the kadan never believed that look why are you guilt
tripping innocent Muslims like don't do that that's not they are not kadani I mean you know Abu zah was not a kadani you know shut was not a kadani you know these people were not must was not these are Scholars of some of the greatest Institutes of Sunni Islam but my point is that I'm not saying that uh you you believe that majority of Muslims do believe the majority do believe that Jesus will come back and they believe in a Mahi but there's been a I believe a a valid difference of opinion um and with the Mahi going back to people like who
and with Jesus having died before many scholars saying that and then some being very explicit why what about all the Hadith to do with Jesus coming com back they they argue that differently um because with the Mahi they say there is no clear Hadith but with the with Jesus they say you see there's a difference of opinion amongst them how they argue it I mean you can research this stuff uh I've not been exposed to their entire works on it but from the little bit that I have come across the thing is that they uh they believed that uh there certain Hadith in
sah Muslim and sahkari so for example if I give you the example of uh like Abu zah argues there's a Hadith in Muslim where Abu Hur is saying that God created soil on the first day and on the second day he created the trees and on the third day he created animals and on the fourth day he created this and on the sixth day he created Adam now this is it's almost synonymous with the gospel oh sorry not with the gospel with Genesis with the with the Old Testament now Abu hura says that I heard the
prophet say this but people like T commenting on this Hadith Clearly say that this is not we do not believe this is from the prophet they in fact says that I believe this to be from who was a uh I mean he was somebody he was a Jewish who had embraced Islam in the time of the of the prophet sallallah alaihi and he used to narrate a lot from their own stories and the prophet had said
that and you can transmit from what they transmit this is in one narration so says this is clearly from the is from Abu heard this from he did not hear this from the prophet and that's to do with the Genesis now Abu zah takes the same approach and he says a lot of these Hadith to do Witham coming back Abu is actually transmitting them from and not from the prophet that's his approach and other people take it differently they take it metaphorically and but my point is I'm not saying you have to you know I'm not saying either
way my point on this is I don't see this as a matter of faith I see this as as said Islamic information if you believe it if you don't believe it to me it's not as these said it is not a part of your of your AA which makes you Muslim or doesn't make you Muslim that's my understanding right it's not something which you know the prophet said make sure you believe this people may have said this I accept people said this along the time uh in some of some of this I know they don't write about the Mahi but they wrote about some may have written about Isa some didn't in their books but that's because of the way
things formed along the way they told they had to tell people exactly what to believe you must believe all of these things and if you don't you you've lost your heretic and that was in reaction to other groups so a lot of what we've got in the last century we've got a lot of work saying that the Mahi is uh is definitely certain and it's mut that he will be coming why did people say this when there isn't even a clear clear Hadith about M this was a reaction to the movement because the kadis who you know I feel had lost the plot clearly when it came to you know believing in this guy
to be a prophet um and then they were very extreme in their ways they were extremist the early kadis you see the second khif of the kadani in his book writing doing Tak of all Muslims all Muslims are cfir who do not accept us who do not do this so this was a action to them so people said that you know no you're not the this Mahi and Jesus and whatever and this is this and I get that and that makes sense so in their time it was important to do this but this is still part of in my understanding a uh
what one it's part of a valid discourse within Sunni Islam and I don't believe this to be a core ma uh whichever way people want to believe to me it does not impact their IM and that's how explains it and he was the legend Maliki scholar of the last century and Sh Islam of his time and that's and I'm comfortable with that right people whoa we have gone on so much whoa damn it's going almost 10 12 midnight I've got to hit a gym session because godamn I haven't been to the gym this whole weekend and so you know you know when you get that kind of oh my God I'm losing size I'm losing size I'm
losing size I need to hit the gym people absolute respect for you for hanging out there all this time with me just ah God it's got to it's had it had to have been excruciating but shukr I totally uh love your support and appreciation if you are on uh Facebook follow me my public page where I'm doing this actual video from like it follow it people for any updates if you have messages reach out to me if you're on Snapchat you can add me on malm 2014 not is it yeah Mal bloody forgot yeah Mal 2014 I'm pretty sure
