share right just see we've got Sean clear Allah bless you all right folks uh we return I had actually um you know had a few things going on unfortunately a friend's a bement and then for the last maybe two weeks I was down with covid I'm pretty sure it was covid I don't really bother doing a test but it was all the symptoms and it just you know it just lingers and doesn't
really seem to just let you be you know Allah be praised aan right I can see a aliki as well all right speaking see look at a lot of the Europeans here speaking of Europe our guest tonight hailing from I was just saying to the sh that you see even when I mentioned the whole of Europe it seems too small compared to his personality allahar right without further Ado from
Frankfurt Germany once again you know by beloved demand Sheikh Abdul Rahman also known as AK gory allahar soay what an introduction well to avoid confusion is not AK it's a so it's abdurahman AK you might confuse it with something else you know I don't want any any any German enforcement in my house
why why have I got you as AK gory is it it is it Khan or something I don't know what your Google history is that you call me is it not is it just you know what let's amend this right here yeah been a long time it's been a long time you coming back to MRA we we forgive you for this kind of you know do you do it you spell it as just straight u r or is it u l r a u r i you mean what do you mean Abdul Rahman no just write a that's fine that's
completely fine a a abman I mean I mean a for the initials oh right okay okay well I suppose it's done now it's done now ABD rmani so yes allahar right I don't know it must have been the impact that you had that you know it's if if we look at the surname gy it just it's the the missile of Pakistan so at the minimum the AK had to be like a a clash and
cough Allah Allah how have you been she it's been quite a while yeah it's been quite a while alhamdulillah I've been good I've been great and uh yeah uh life's going well alhamdulillah has been great and uh yeah we're learning we're falling we're getting up alhamdulillah and uh yeah how how you been we all been missing you uh we waiting for your for your for the for the controversial content I don't I don't know about controversial content but the content I've been you know I seriously I was out
with Co you know for a little uh while I think I'm pretty certain it was Co and so probably about 2 weeks I'd been just ill and I was thinking yeah you know what's it doesn't even you know like you have the fever you have the thing you get better and you're thinking okay I'm better now but it just lingers it's like even today morning I was still coughing I was thinking y what's going on it's like coming up to 3 weeks now and I'm still coughing away but you know such is life are you better now do you have some tea
I well I do have some tea shuk and it's unfortunate you know I ought to really share it with the guest you know we have a we have a this is a drink there is no M inside here is this PL is this plain energy drink sugarfree energy oh okay I thought that was like a green tea no no well I'm I'm still 31 so see you're young you know as you'll approach uh my age B in old age you'll start to our last conversation's been
two years you know Subhan Allah time flies man wow it's been two years now yeah yeah you've been doing quite a bit of traveling though you you've been about a bit alhamdulillah Allah be praised talk to us what's what's what's been happening in these cuz I know you did uh message me in between I apologize I uh wasn't you know uh available I think that was very recently wasn't it was it recently or was it a while back uh you mean when I was in London you were yeah yeah you were here yeah you just you didn't say you were here you just said uh are you free or something on such and such so I
assumed you were here uh recently yeah I was planning to go to England and then I asked you but then uh the plan got cancelled so um but before that I was uh there for the talk with Dr s uh in London and that's why that that was when we were meant to meet but then something I think came up and then we couldn't meet yeah yeah well inshallah the meeting will be spectacular be insh in right so okay so yeah talk to us a bit about what's been going on in
between you've been involved in some talks you've been uh some topics some what's what's been going on yeah alhamdulillah I've been Associated a bit with uh The al- Institute and uh yeah other than the talks which have been going on uh sometimes in Germany or somewhere else but other than that I've been involved in talks in uh with almit the institute in Canada also and uh yeah alhamdulillah for for the listeners that's uh that's
RS uh Institute just in case you know for some listeners are new to that yeah so uh I've been uh associated with the ri Sub Center as well uh with a lot of people there especially Dr Sean a shout out to his SE the the doctor himself himself and just as you've mentioned Dr sha this Dr sha sh has said
here oh Subhan Allah and inshah I just want I just I just want to say let's let's pray also for his mother inshallah she is not well and and we pray all for her Allah gr a Swift and complete recovery and I have to say the man is he has you know introduced me there and he has uh he's did he did quite a lot and especially some other brothers there as well the the president of Alor Institute Malik Fel sub he did a lot as well you know uh pushed me a lot you know into talks and
uh we did a lot of talks there as well wow and he's just messaged that he's actually with his mother right now in hospital so sha I wholeheartedly make Dua Allah bless your mother's uh health and Grant her you know it is it is truly you know mothers there there is a makam um that you know it it's it's it's it's strange how
powerful that makam is and you know something I would say that you know when my mom went through her cancer and I hope it's nothing as you know terrible as as that with uh sh Sha but for anybody whose mothers are ill out there that what that Journey did to me and did for me I would say ultimately it's you know words can't describe and it's so strange that in my case you know my mother passing away at the end
of her cancer it was probably about better part of a year when she passed away you you know before passing there's this you see we're anticipating it so we're thinking look this you know you know this is going to happen the doctors have told you they've given you an approximate time frame you're seeing a physical deterioration you're seeing a person become weak and then it gets to a point where it gets really difficult for the person and you think well you know you don't want them to be suffering so you're anticipating this is going to happen and you're making your duas and
you're doing things but in your mind like this is me I assumed that when she passes like how is it going to be like a person envisages something so I envisage that look I it will be it will be tragic let's say there will be grief and I understand it but I'm glad she's in a better place and she's you know peaceful and not in a state of suffering and then let let's say some days some weeks will go by and maybe one two months and and and then you'll kind of just be on with it like
with life and and you'll be normal and you you would have accepted it as far as you know normality he goes but W it was so I could never have even anticipated what it would be and I did not expect it to be like that like the way it hit me I didn't expect it because I was I had anticipated this was going to happen and I'm very but it was just a different you know grief is a different animal wah and I only then for the first time in my life came in
you know from that time even till now came to understand what grief is and I thought damn like I you know there's never a like you'll you'll be normal and then suddenly there'll just be a uh some kind like you'll be overwhelmed it's not and it's not rational because rationally you'll know that oh look she's in a better place she's in the inshallah blessed and not in suffering and so it's not rational but it's I don't know it's it's like it's definitely emotional but it's
it's experiential it's just something you've got to I don't know go through without it it's weird you'll just you know you'll be normal and sometimes you'll I'll get i'll get thoughts you know like they're not rational thoughts but I'll feel that um like I'll think I mean and once again it's not rational I know rationally it's not like that but I'll think like like I couldn't save her you know stuff like that and and it'll just break me down like I'll think that that oh my God like
it's I couldn't do it like and it's like I couldn't do something and I'll just sometimes just be in the middle of nothing I'll just break down I'll be like and it's not a rational like I understand rationally nobody can and ultimately these things they teach you a great submission and it's not to say that you know these things are everybody in life has to go through like we go through our own little Jour I mean we go through our journey with a you know we'll experience things along the way we'll experience
our suffering but we'll observe the the world and you think think well wow like what's going on in the world yard like I you know these and and this is another thing you know you know when you get hit by a tragedy or something every other grief hurts you it's like you know in Surah yusf there's this um there's the the verses where they keep Benyamin and they come like the brothers do and they say oh you
know they he kept and and turns around you know like and he gets really you know some people say whether he loses his sight or not and he cries out and he says yeah but he cries outf but he cries out about Yousef but Yousef years ago had disappeared you know he wasn't now so why cry out about Yousef and I remember I remember reading this years ago in the T that this is because you know every new grief or tragedy or hurt
reminds you of like it evokes that previous pain and and then you experience it and now you know we see these things like we see uh Gaza what's going on the the the kind of and I know your talk was about this uh as well you'd mentioned that w these images we don't like I I can only speak for myself I don't even have the courage to look at them and you know I do try to like and support and comment because it promotes the pages because you know social media does a shadow ban on these Pages
promoting uh the Gaza and Palestine cause so I try to do that but I can't look at these things man and I think where does so much hatred come in the hearts of people where does it even come from that how can a people hate people to that extent you know there's like bulldozing over people you think yes Salam and you
know I know you um did a I think a talk or something or you did an awareness on the whole Gaza thing as well was that where the was Shazad Saleem was it Dr Shazad no with Dr Shazad Salim there was another Topic in London was I think about the uh about uh you know the whole re relevance I think of the Quran in today's time and stuff uh but um it was interesting talk as well with Dr sh maybe can talk about that later too but uh yeah with Gaza it was uh was I think
with Dr Sean and uh uh yeah it's been as you said you know it's been heartbreaking it's been uh more than a year now since Gaza 7th of October since it happened and uh I think uh was m m Hassan who said it very good he said um they say nothing justifies uh October the 7th and he said but still they justify everything with October the 7th and all that sums it up you know um that's what the world does like they say nothing justifies October
7th but they justify everything everything that you see with October the 7th and uh I think there is there is you know what I think also I not in the context of what they what they claim it to be L I also think that it is true that the world has changed since October the 7th I do believe that not because not because just because of the innocent lives which uh which were lost on October 7th not because of those only because of those civilian death but
moreover because since that day the whole game has changed you know this is the first time I believe in life that you know I was I don't know up gu how when you when you're saying changed you're talking about the the world's Outlook towards the uh towards the Palestinian cause or towards humanitarianism and against Israel yeah the the awareness of Muslims themselves on the problem you know a lot of Muslims and one more thing I don't know how uh you used to think about the whole stuff L I can talk for me until October the
7th I was like you know I used to think that social media doesn't have impact if a Muslim changes makes a post that doesn't really save lives or doesn't have impact but what I saw after 7th of October I saw that our that because we are 1.8 billion people our quantity helps why because once someone if someone puts a fake news out 10,000 comments of Muslims do make an impact so what happened is the social media presence of Muslims did help it helped a lot it changed the game you know and and
people and nothing else was reporting things exactly what was creating the waves and and the rise of figures like basam Yu you know someone who who who Rose like from the from literally nothing to something so big again like I know you have had differences but again like uh Muhammad hijab also like the prominence he got just from this cuse you know is just uh mind blowing I I actually did enjoy his last uh interview and performance I bet you did I know I no I actually did enjoy it no no you
know sometimes I because I'm generally not a proponent of that kind of um and that kind of a display but I felt that you know this last time a lot of people I saw they they disagreed with his his kind of display and the approach and I was you know reading comments and people what they were sharing in certain groups but I was actually saying that and I actually commented on his page as well that I actually really loved it because it came to a point that that is the only you know that that that is what they that is the only Language by which they
exactly communicate and yeah and and the fact that you've got he kept pinning down D with on this whole Epstein case but it's relevant like can you imagine a Muslim saying something let's say a Muslim was in Epstein's case or something else or he's got some something else they would immediately bring it up I was just watching today um I was watching today I didn't watch the whole of it but basam YF and P Morgan and and basam was he's he asks basam
that you know what what what's your stance on Iran and all these other things and the hthis and uh and then basam says well you know my lawyers tell me I have to say if I want to be back allowed back into America then I have to call them terrorists so yeah sure they're all terrorists and he's kind of tongue and cheek trying to be funny but whilst he's saying it and the uh and and Pierce Morgan says well no you don't believe that and he says well he says come on he says look and he starts naming figures and he says well look at uh Scott ritler he says look at him he
got raided by the FBI so immediately Pierce Morgan says oh but he's been done for as a pedophile he says oh he's been done on some sex offenses or something years ago so he brings that up straight away to discredit uh Scott rler but uh bam yusf says no I'm talking about a few months ago the FBI ra him for speaking about Russia and against uh speaking against Israel clearly and then he mentions another British journalist that spoke against Israel and his his his his house got raided in London so the moment
they get an opportunity they bring they sling mud so this dtz when he's been defending Epstein and all these kind of uh child sex trafficking cases and he's been defending him and saying he's proud then why uh that that I thought that was a brilliant point to bring up but yeah sorry yeah you know no of course of course uh the thing is that is like for example if you see his uh Muhammad of course he's not perfect and he's on a live maybe on a live show or whatever in that moment and of course sometimes you say things in the Heat of the Moment while camera is on uh like in the first
discussion he had with PM the first one I can't remember uh I don't know if you remember the first one the first ever he had one to one it was the one one to one with him in the studio so he said to him in the beginning and I remember speaking to maybe Dr Sean about it that when he spoke to him he said uh what the controversial Muslim Pro Palestine speaker or something like that and then he said to him so why would you why did you introduce me as controversial and then he said yeah you are controversial right in the beginning that was first sentence he said and he's like so you so are you then told P
Morgan so you and then he's like okay and then he's like uh yes I am controversial and then he's like why did you introduce me as Pro Palestine why don't you didn't you introduce me as the Oxford graduate and then p is like oh uh do you want me to introduce you with with Oxford graduate he said yes please so I love that part because what it happened what he knew that this is the first time British yeah sorry the mic's just cutting a bit from you I think he knew that this is the first time the public is seeing him in a large way and he knew
that the way he introduced him because he looks a certain way of course so he he knew that if he doesn't introduce him the way he wants to people will have an image of him and that was very clever of him so he did that to show his bias in the beginning you know and uh he did that in the beginning and he even if you look at it he played the game in the first interview he even played the game along like in the beginning he said uh he that this was like fresh after Hamas attack on the 7th of October and then he said um I want to condemn Hamas for what they did to civilians and this is not despite my religion it's because of my
religion he said those words exactly so his M was like okay let's dive into it so when he realized after then into after the interview that this is not getting better that these people he's still basically it doesn't matter if you say that or don't say that they will still treat you the same might as well just scale all out yeah exactly so I think as you said the last time it was right just to just to agree with you on this last Point um what you said is completely right in the last interview they needed this nasty treatment uh of him uh condemning all this and all that and I don't know if you didn't did you
see the Loki interview sorry your mic is getting quite uh it's get everything's it just seems to be cutting out quite a bit intermittence here okay okay I mean let me just try to I'm just going to try to see if I can click refresh here if that hopefully helps but right so you know what are your thoughts on right now this whole thing you've got um you know you've got this whole Middle East kind of scenario playing out and it
could play out very dangerously we just don't know it's very volatile I mean you've had what I feel personally that um in awe of how Iran had handled the whole situation and then with Israel trying to retaliate they you know try to retaliate with Yahya sinir and even that really backfired so badly for them because really you see Yahya sinir being martyred on the battlefield in a way not not hiding
behind children not kind of like you know in any deep under you know to uh tunnels underground or in hospitals or in any of these ludicrous claims rather uh facing the Army the IDF and drones right till his dying breath so this backfired now the situation is so volatile Israel is bombarding Lebanon it's trying to you know and the Situation's getting out of hand clearly with with Lebanon what it's doing Iran is on standby the you know the pressure is
being ranked up uh internally around the uh Middle East uh Russia believe you know a lot of the the shows I'm watching has been supplying as well um some of the latest uh technology technological anti-aircraft and other um kind of Weaponry to Iran and even some people to M it as what a lot of the Specialists are saying on YouTube so that's going on meanwhile Ukraine and Russia Ukraine is you know abysmally losing that war the West is
um just I mean for the meanwhile just still flooding them with the kind of support wh what what what do you see like how do you see that this uh can not how it can but how does it play out because World War I would be a a disaster for everyone I mean it's not like nobody benefits you know nobody benefits from war and not on that scale nobody I mean that's just abysmal so for Humanity as well and people don't even
realize the the fact that these countries now most likely the a lot of the Specialists are saying and the analysts that Iran uh has nuclear weapons now so Iran's kind of hinted that it has it without saying it so it's it's made and there was some kind of a I don't know if you know noticed some kind of a uh um you know on the Rus scale a measurement of I think 4.5 or something that was measured early in October that some what seemed like seismic explosive I mean the the reports you know are
mixed but it seemed like that they may have detonated an explosion that caused that uh you know RoR scale um disturbance so have they gone and if they have gone nuclear then you're just talking wow you know how easy it is to completely reset Humanity like it's crazy we're at the we're at a mam where we're at a makam now somebody said look Israelis and and Yanks will know if they have nukes they well what we know
is that Israel has the capacity to be nuclear clear uh whether they have it or not and some Specialists are saying that it's the perhaps the Russians have given them one because all it takes is one or two but one to just conduct an explosion with because that's all it takes you don't need to you talking about Iran or Israel right now no Iran no Israel without knowledging know everybody knows that that that the Americans have definitely given it to them or they've made their
own either way no no they have their own that's this an Open Secret yeah yeah yeah so but but Iran I'm speaking of so wow it's it's like we're at a Mak where the world is so you know it in one way it's so powerful but it's so sensitive at the same time yeah yeah what up you know the thing is um you know it's like I've been following World politics geopolitics since maybe 2012 now 12
years so once you understand the whole game it's just about of course some sometimes things happen which are not expected like October the 7 this is not expected you know these kind of things but normally things play the way they played now as as soon as something happens which is not expected the world starts going in a different mode like Russia wasn't expected no one thought that Putin would actually go through he didn't expect probably uh the world hold uh you know
everyone giving so much money to Ukraine until you know just going through with it he probably didn't think that as well so it's like but maybe for a time but not in a way yeah but in a way it's it's kind of bleeding a lot of the West dry you have to remember these this Weaponry is is so expensive it's extremely expensive and with Russia they since World War II Mass manufacturer that was the strength that Stalin and the Russians had in World War they could just Mass yeah and they still got that capacity they just Mass produce you know what what what happened but Russia
Ukraine is not that big of an issue I tell you why because as soon as Trump comes he has said it like a 100 times and I don't trust him in a lot of things but I do trust him on this one that he would he can that he has the ability to end the war in 24 hours he has promised it if he does it I do not know but I do think there is a bigger chance that if he comes he'll end the war because he said it like aund times now just out of curiosity how do you think because he has said this that look Trump 24 hours he said yeah but you know how do you think how do you envisage that though through diplomacy I no no I tell you how look the American president is the most
powerful man in the world you know to be everyone knows that so the guy has the power to take just to do one call to each one of them and in this case it's of course zalinski if he makes a call and tells them listen I'm not going to send you any weapons if you don't find a solution he has to find a solution so no so through diplomacy so that's my point yeah like a diplomatic effort yeah yeah of course it's just one call it's just exactly one call the same is with Israel that that's the pro you know Trump of course didn't say anything about Israel in that sense they'll stop the war
people tell me yeah he said it I'm not so no but I'm not so sure because the Israeli Lobby has a we like a strange grip an unprecedented grip on the US uh government on the Senators said that's yeah that's why I just said that's not going to happen so because even the Republicans Or democrats both are pro Israel and the only difference is that the Republicans are very vocal like in the party of Republicans this is the first time like in Republicans half of them are pro Israel and half of them are
against Israel Democrats same that half of Democrats which are against Israel and half of them are pro-israel but the government in itself is pro-israel all if you go green if you go left if you go right but don't you feel the the the way the European countries some of um have turned against Israel now openly I mean Spain was from the beginning Spain I have to I'm so you know like just like wowed by because I didn't I don't know I didn't for some reason didn't assume Spain would take such a powerful stance against I think number one is Ireland
number one yeah no no but Ireland I expect to because because they have suffered at the hands of the English exactly always but Spain has a history where it's not so fond of Muslims and Arabs especially because of the whole conquest and the whole you know history of andalus so they generally have a bit of a dist towards especially Arabs now for them to be one of the most vocal and some of their celebrities and actors yeah of course they so publicly speaking I mean you've had Ireland
you've had Spain you've had Norway you've had uh Now France you know macron I didn't expect him to be coming out coming out with all of this to be honest because he's such a I don't know whether he's a fascist or what is he but he's he's definitely not pathetic to uh Muslim him we don't even know what his wife is yeah but I mean but just being but just being you know just where politics and and you know Integrity is look they are so racist against Muslims within France look how they treat the the attitudes towards the hijab how they
persecute women for doing that how they just so the the way they've been so extortionate of of Africa as a whole and but I don't know I mean is it insania is it that they've just can't you know it gots to a point that how many innocent babies I mean every baby is Innocent but how many are you going to see being killed no mu this is all a look this is all a game you know at the end of the day you know France has the biggest Muslim Community in Europe okay over 6 million Muslims live officially in France probably more with the whole refugees okay now the next part is
macron knows that he just won like this against Leen Leen is the rightwing extreme rightwing she wants Muslim bands and all that okay so he knows his strength he just won because of Muslims he knows that so him talking about Muslim he is that far away of being against of Muslims turning him against him so he needs to do these things to be in power it's all a game if you look at somebody has said as well yeah that you see somebody said that macron move was political people forget when Iran was kidnapping French abroad bombing part
but do do you not think there is a bit as well that they are thinking that what is there not a bit of insania no insia there's absolutely no insania in that what's up I don't mean I think these people no I'm not trying to defend these people because I have lost all faith in that kind of you know that in that version of Europe that once was that oh we Champion human rights that said that said I do feel that even those people who hate Muslims who are racist fascist against Islam they can't stand
Arabs they can't stand Palestinians the things that social media have been sharing I think even you know Fon would struggle to not like to not have his heart melted or broken but this is why it surprises you know like the people that still so like when you see a person on an IV drip on fire burning like is there there's some conscience inside you that thinks yeah like what the that's look that's the thing look um I live in Germany you know that and
Germany is the most pro-israel country in this conflict right now I think Al jazer did a documentary about the most pro-israel country in the world right now it's I think Germany and and the United States you know so it's us clearly I didn't realize Germany was but okay us obviously then and the whole conflict I don't know if you saw in in the statistics the most arrest I think for pro Palestine demonstrations was in Germany because like the the pro there were demonstrations banned in Germany the pro Palestine Noble demonstrations were banned in Germany can you believe
that in London there were 350,000 people Marching for Palestine and in German B it was B was a lot of things were a lot of demonstrations were just banned because these people have a dirty history so these people need to can you believe there's one guy uh he is a philosopher I'll just give you an example he's a very prominent figure in Germany name is PR so PR is a young why does you you think keep um the thing is I can turn off the headphones if you want but I no I don't think it's the headphon no is it just check the speaker not the headphones so you've got the
sorry the mic the mic I mean not the speaker so just check what's what your input mic is and is it better now is it better now so sure if you've changed it let's try that let's just see because first the micro it says microphone um volume shall I put no no not no not the no it wasn't the volume it was the fact that it kept getting interrupted it was going in in and out intermittent so it maybe if it gives you two microphone options select the other one and let's see oh no it's we've lost no we lost is it better is it better now sure let's try that let's just try the alternative
and and if it doesn't work it doesn't work okay it does if it doesn't work we'll just put out the C oh right actually actually actually uh U people are saying your mic is fine so maybe in the recording going out it's fine so maybe it's just the way I'm hearing you it's intermittent but move this up maybe it's just is yeah it's just the co it's just the getting it is hearing as well maybe maybe let me let me just ask for the audience what was in that ke tell us what was in that te well
there were no mush no mushrooms in this talk about talk about psychedelics now well I tell you what before we change before let's change we'll move on to your other thing but as we do we make Dua that Allah Grant ease and victory and peace to to the people of Gaza and Palestine right yeah so ABD G I hear that that you are causing shock waves
yourself as you as you're going around teaching and no so talk to us about some interesting sharing what happened you know I had this call and people was saying look Muti Abu has been gone away there is a spot which is so it's like it's time to get controversial now the man is gone he's he's getting he's getting he's laying low has people peace that I've that I've gone on my mystical path do people feel been people are feeling safer to
come out and talk some they're like there's no one catching us now so we will give some you don't know how many how many Davis are getting sold online for 250 and 19 yes they will not steal anymore they know there's no one is it giving them a bit of Courage yeah didn't you know they call you the mvi hunter the m the m Hunter is is gone away yeah yeah so no the thing is the thing is um
yeah well you should you you should definitely take that spot you see I'm I'm like this old hermit now on on a Mystic path trying to make sense of the cosmos and Consciousness so the thing is most you've been you I think a lot of people uh probably still watch your old videos and uh you've been I guess an inspiration for a lot of people yeah a lot of inspiration for for a lot of people out there you know for me um I told uh you know other people as well that um it it was refreshing to see
someone having the same opinions and of course I learned a lot from you as well um you know a lot of your Dal and stuff the way you presented them uh keeping the jokes apart but yeah I I I like that one you know all all those Delight that you the way you just you know presented everything and uh it was refreshing for me to see that someone else uh has those opinions as well so now I think people are it was just a lot of people have just you know this you you you basically gave them the push and now they know how
to uh I think I guess you know ask about the and to understand there are different opinions and you know uh of course people are still the mask still needs someone who gives them something on the platter they need someone who tells them okay this is this is wrong this is that and and that chain is strong that chain is uh weak they need people like that and that is important yeah but uh again I've I've traveled a lot as you said and I met yeah these yeah these issues and M yeah they I yes they'll always be
there and and this is to be fair one of the things is you know in my kind of Journey especially recently um one of the reasons I actually left all my videos there as well even though some of them now when I accidentally view some of them I do think to myself yeah sometimes I do think like I think what the hell am I doing and saying like I do feel like what the hell but I uh the the reason is one that there was a lot of ilm scattered in between that you
know in kind of spread out in between and two to also be able to in time to come identify my journey like I want the the TR like it to be known that this like I don't I want it that people could be able to perceive that and maybe with that some people could grow as well so yeah the thing is M you know look the funny thing is I just met someone the other day and uh the person was actually telling me and a lot of people have been saying that to me is sometimes it's so
interesting because you know us as let's say I don't want to you know sound uh let's just put us in in the fraction of madasa and and whatever students of knowledge us students of knowledge like we try to research and you know find ways and look at something and then I think we spoke once you and me and we spoke about that the the the work of a or Muti is if someone comes with a failing marriage or something to basically not say okay that but rather than then you know looking for a way to
save the marriage and even say if if one mhab is saying there is there has been a but other is saying so take that opinion and tell them you know so there is no and alhamdulillah you we can save your marriage the thing is all built on yeah we should always find Mas for people exactly but but one thing is very interesting and that is what I realized a lot of people in the mass of Muslims who are moderate themselves now keep in mind these Muslims I'm talking about are not orthodox conser conservative Muslims most of the time they're moderate average Muslims sometimes they pra
sometimes they don't but these Muslims when you talk to them about Dean and you have maybe a new opinion or something which is not represented by 90% of the they tell me I want I want the conservative opinion and they find it weird that you have a different opinion although they are moderate Muslims let's say but they want you as a scholar to be conservative it's very interesting you know even uh a lot of times they're like okay why are you so they're like we are mod that's okay but why you mod he like you you're for God's sake be conservative you know and a lot of
people told me that like jokes aside they've told me like if I'm if I'm moderate that's okay but the Sheik I go to has to be conservative and has to be telling me that I'm doing something wrong and I should be better so it's very interesting this this this of people that they want you to be conservative always so they don't want you to say they don't want you to say yeah you're listening to music is not that bad don't guil trip you know it's there is an opinion which allows it they don't want you to say it they want you to tell them it's Haram so they better themselves it's it's really funny but there are a lot of people like that outside I don't know if you know
[Laughter] no it's not you know you speak of music that's interesting because just today I was responding to a friend of mine he um right he said he he he sent me a like a Tik Tok video and in it you've got some not one not one of
those so those those I'm sure so he sent me this of some it some dawa kind of speech and I take it they're both copies yeah and how do you know one of them so I mean one I guess I'm guessing but they looked in I'm pretty sure I've recognized one of them although I don't know his name but I've seen some videos of his so the the person speaking is saying
that look music is uh Haram and it's cursed and the prophet said that two uh voices or sounds are cursed and then he said you know one curse one that rings the bell and one at the time of sadness and one that Rings the blows into an instrument at the time of happiness or something and then like this he reads another Hadith he goes that the the prophet said that there will be molten lead poured into people's ears who listen to music so the other person is saying oh oh you know wow oh wo like he's he's obviously absorbing it
all and and they're saying uh you know they're saying that uh so this is you know music is so Haram you know these are the words of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam now this friend sent me this video when he said look you know I do listen to music or I play in the background and and and he runs is in retail so he they play at their shop and he said I didn't realize you know is this the case so it's an interesting so I I kind of responded to him by saying look well in music you're going to have all the opinions you can imagine within the Sharia you're going to have some
people who say it's categorically Haram and on the other side where there's nothing and you'll get some people who just say it'll be discouraged for example and you'll get this kind of spectrum but I said that now look considering salafia like let's say you take salafia not trying to you know let's just take them at their integral uh profile that they are a people who clear at least claim to openly uphold the Quran sunah you know this is the Magnificent claim every all Muslims do this but the the salafia kind of claim a
monopoly on it but the so so let's why not you see why not some honesty and integrity in this ruling exactly like let's let's just be honest like if the Sala or any any you know you could take other groups they don't have to be salafy but that are Hardline they take quite here than that no so if they were to be honest like let's say they to say we believe this is har but there is not a single verse in the Quran that explicitly ever addresses
music and there is no not even one that can prohibit music there are many Hadith but they are weak or have some weakness in them yeah or have some weakness in them now or there are some had that are not clear they're vague and they may beah so there is no clearcut addressing music directly Hadith that is clear from criticism at all now they would never like if maybe academically speaking they would have to acknowledge that but they
would never address it like that because the moment you address it like that it's it's just you know it's a spiders web like it's so weak what you've built your argument because if I say look this is such an important matter but Allah never mentioned it once in the Quran and there's not a single clear you know unequivocal authentic Hadith from the prophet where he condemned music there's not even one that is unequivocal so it must mention music specifically not an interpretation so they have a Hadith in bukari which is using the word entertainment now they
say entertainment here means music but it doesn't have to mean music it could mean naked Dan ing it could mean all kinds of things that the J Arab used to do so but to so clear unequivocal where it uses the word music not one authentic uh unequivocal Hadith like that and not a clear verse of the Quran at all ever addresses music so you know but yet let's be honest it is so you wouldn't need need any
evidence to say music is Haram to the awam because the reason being that the general ontology the the kind of psychological fabric of which religion is made to the masses it is made of certain built upon certain axioms you know this is you know there's that famous girdles incompleteness theorem which is that mathematics and all these things even though it is you know mathematics is you
know it's solid and concrete and uh you know arguably one of the most concretized things that people would all agree on you wouldn't disagree on mathematics generally speaking yet when girdle highlighted that it is built upon axioms that itself cannot be Pro proven so when you you see so religion is the same that people have an understanding before they come to learn about the dean so most people already let's say they don't know much about Islam or any religion but they have this ontology so
if you ask them what do you think religion is about so everybody will say it's about worship even if they don't know how to worship but they'll know it's about worship people people will say it's about sacrifice because religions usually are about sacrificing they will say it's about devotion now these things are fine but amidst amidst these things they will have one building block that is that it is anti- entertainment see most people inherently
believe religion with a capital r is always anti- entertainment regardless of what entertainment what religion what it is built on this building block now because of that ontology the moment somebody comes and says music is Haram it fits on that Foundation therefore regardless of the evidence being present or absent I accept it yeah but it's prove the opposite Upstream battle because people
have not been you know they ontology of religion doesn't work that way no yeah I I think that's a very interesting perspective mallah which you just raised mallah very nice um but also because The Narrative of the since thousand years or maybe since the you know since is uh they have a few things which they just make Haram since when a kid literally get reinforced narrative exactly the narrative when a kid grows up the other day I was speaking to my sister and my brother-in-law about the whole Imam Mahi narrative and I said it's so interesting that if you ask a
completely moderate Muslim household so moderate that even the parents might drink like extremely moderated you know even if you go to that extent even in a Muslim household parents might drink yeah I like I like this of moderate have you have you have you have you heard that word before like Min minerals or something no there's a there's a ring a bell there was there was there was a naughty Muti I
mean not you mu ABD of course not to please do not uh okay okay no no no what what is Mu Abdul kav from Pakistan yeah yeah everybody knows AB known for some weird scandals and he is he wants he wants that to this anchor U you know he said that you should keep your beauty to yourself and then the anchor said to him mub how do you know I'm beautiful he said he said and and then she's like
like he just got shut up at that time so it's a very uh you know weird mu not what's the what's the thing he said let me come to it I was I just wanted to introduce the man and his qualities and uh yeah so uh he actually was talking about uh some cockail I guess and he said that if it's 40% it's no I'm I'm in ant anticipation of this definition that we're about to get of alcohol people I I don't understand what he meant that man I don't understand what he meant in that video
but he said something like it's if it's 40% it's fine now I don't know if he metant a cocktail because like a lot of cocktails 40% 40% did you say 40 or he said 40 he said 40 40% alcohol because like a bottle of I think Jack Daniels 40% alcohol I don't understand what what what was wrong with him that he said that and the guy was like a the interview was like AA so he's saying the the spirits are from the m is that what he okay yeah he he I think that that word I don't know where he got that from n or something he probably he
probably has it from there that's what was the what was that's a hanf book it doesn't mention anything like that about alcohol just for the record but yeah so what was the Mahi comment thing yeah so um I was speaking to my sister and my brother-in-law uh and uh like I was telling them that even if in a very extreme like moderate family Muslim family uh even if a kid doesn't know anything about Islam or gets raised you know getting taught by his or her parents about Islam a few things a kid
knows like for example uh you don't eat pork uh you don't drink you don't uh you don't do these kind of things uh like you don't go clubbing they tell the kids even whatever you know these kind of and one thing is theal mahi and Jin these are the three like everyone knows about theal that he will come everyone knows the Mahi will come and save us and everyone knows about gin stories from some aunt some some weird Auntie his or her family had some position done by them so do you feel everybody with the Mahi they do you
think that Mahi and theal I I kind of agree that it is very ubiquitous now I think the Jin stories are definitely ubiquitous they're like everybody's got the Gin stories um yeah maybe the Mahi thing has yeah now become like like literally like even like Turkish friends of mine which are like very moderate in Germany a lot of Turkish people here uh or some Arab people like they all know yeah that Mahi will come before uh you know and then I was telling them they were literally jaw-dropped when I told them that the Quran doesn't mention itari doesn't mention it m Malik doesn't mention it Muslim doesn't mention it and
they were like with the no with the no with the Mahi so there there is a so obviously the second coming of Jesus is a different topic is a different topic with the with the M there is not a single at all in Sunni literature starts with AB it starts in Abu with no so you have a Hadith in Muslim in sah Muslim but it is not so the condition is not just authentic it must be unequivocal it must be clear so there is an uh an ambiguous Hadith that is in sah Muslim
that they use when it says about the second coming of Jesus he says uh that Jesus descends on the wings of angels angels now here this is a verb and then he led you from amongst you so some people said well this refers to Jesus and some people here many of them use this to mean he the pronoun is going by back to the Mahi obviously it's not mentioned in the script but they say
the connotation of the Hadith is so the subtext is that this is referring to the Mii so and there is some variation not the sah Muslim one but some variation of this that try to read it as with an added not so they try to read it in that way but the sah Muslim narration is a verb
and and and that does not say the but this is then an an interpretation we're saying well how do we interpret this let's we interpret it to mean the Mahi so there is no um and it's actually interesting that none of the early theological even if they did mention like let's say um it does mention the second coming of Christ it does not mention the Mahi the MDI is not mentioned till several hundreds and hundreds of years into
Islamic discourse andun he wrote he has a whole book dedicated to the Mahi where he shows that look there is no all these Hadith are not sound but he also highlights clearly that this was from the Shia that crept into Sunni Islam and became part of Sunni Islam but yeah but that to may be 500 years after the prophet or something something like that but there are in there are Hadith in Abu right but it Happ yeah yes so no sah so what we saying yes so so there are so there are
Hadith which everybody accepts are have weaknesses in the chain so that's where goes through those chains and shows that these Hadith are weak and often you'll find they will be narrations to do with the Shia and often the the whole description of the the Mahi is usually of certain imams of the Shia tradition that have passed so some yeah it's quite interesting generally like not just the but generally how much influence a lot
of Sunni Scholars and so a lot of people do not understand how many a Hadith uh in Sunni books there are which sh use for their defense because and that the only reason is and they're weak it's not like they're strong at Hadith but the sunnis don't get that them put like not discrediting them as weak a Hadith and just saying that these people like like clearly the man was completely biased you know uh to the other side like to the Shia side here no she has there's a lot of criticism
of that they say you know that or you know this he has this kind of color of a lot of people have made that claim because of the Hadith he's even even if you look in in the um in Pakistan for example yeah in general subcontinent you look at dandi you have B you have the you know kind of people you can see that the they are very very lenient towards the whole Shia cause uh be in Gala be
and all these things they are very more you know like for example in Pakistan you don't even realize that the tenth of the M tent of muharam has anything got to do with musam like that you you don't realize it tent of the muharam is celebrated completely as is Asus not not celebrated commemorate Comm commemorate sorry yeah that was a wrong word no no no no no obviously no it's just saying it that commemorated as yes yeah so um you know it's very interesting that they are also very so it's not just a phenomenon which was
back then it's but I that said you know as far as the sh Sunni thing is I look the way forward is always dialogue and always a middle path it is always you know try because what you know when people are here they're here now like what you know whether you disagree we don't disagree whether you know but they're here to stay so well the way forward is by saying look okay but we have so many things we do agree on yes you know we don't need to disagree like as in fine we disagree on certain things we won't discuss them together I understand you have a different view I
have a different view but we still are within this faith of Islam you know we are still Brothers we are still the if you could not for example do certain things and those certain things would incl include cursing The Companions and the wives and and and that's you know it would just remove all this tension which to be fair many sound mind she agree with and they say that that's absolutely you know they do agree with that that it's wrong to curse the symbols of uh Sunni Islam and so and then we've got like a middle ground of course but I I
just I um there was um you know someone who literally has a bridge between so many people is for example someone like R you know's work is amazing I I met him I don't know if I told you wow yeah yeah yeah tell us about that man how Isam in person I've never met him in person I have been in touch with his uh son-in-law but I've not been never really him I spoke to him before that on the phone as well through his son-in-law Dr hassas which is again Mah a very good
uh very good guy mashallah he's uh you know he has similar background like us he's from B J no J B I think he who is uh uh Dr hassas you didn't know oh hassas sorry sorry I thought you he is he's the NASA of B oh wow wait that you know yeah yeah he told me in person yeah yeah yeah yeah oh wow so the grandson of YF B he has some he has some big may Allah have mercy on him a I mean I mean great
great luminaries of you know Kar yeah very big and uh so he's I think oh no he's I think far from J Rashid I think mu ABD was there was there that time I can't remember I think he said something like that so uh yeah he's farting from there and he has a Al background as well and then he got toi and everything so I was in contact with him and uh was in Brussels was in Brussels and just a week ago and uh I was in Brussels also so
um me secret meetings no it's not secret joking no no I'm joking I'm joking no no it's okay I I do accept him I'm just joking I'm just Jing what's up you should you should have been there but yeah it was it was like 4050 it was like 40 50 people from around Europe Europe like a lot of people from the UK I think were there from Norway from Norway but it was kept quite small like it wasn't a big thing they only invited a few members and they said here that we're coming if you want to come you can come a lot of people from Germany went there uh from
Holland I think uh and then there were a few people from uh Belgium from there and and what and what was it was it a like yeah it was in in a hotel in hotel yeah what's up yeah I know your face I know your face what about you know people people can change people remember with with people remember Muses keep pulling people remember people can change their YouTube
content for the personality no no no so you were saying the good old M yeah but no I'm always good yeah I'm always good people missing the good old M so basically I'm good and I'm old see sometimes the the shades come you know so basically it was Mah Mah very good fol alhamdulillah and we met it was in Brussels I had the honor and privileged that before the talk Dr hassas took me upstairs to M private
so um yeah um I spoke to him I was to be honest you know I was very uh excited I was very you know um it's very weird mu sabs mu Sab understands this feeling probably um you know when you grow up and you are a I did I learned the Quran by heart in a mosque and then uh you have this very conservative teacher and then you go to a madasa you know uh a very conservative kind of Islamic uh Institute and you learn and learn Islam from there like really like
uh from the like literally sit on the floor for years and in tah pos position and it's very different than a university and of course you see and your teachers you have a certain respect for them you have a very of the best years of my life you know honestly and and you know I I thank Allah although we have mu Sab as well has different opinions now from the things that we might get got told in some things but they respect you learn from from I have that and gab was the only one in my life of course yours truly the one who's
sitting across me as well that I because he's older you know m is younger than me so is the only one is the only one who i' never met face to face know who I still consider as aad spiritual maybe definitely consider him one of my teachers yeah when I I can't tell you you know you understand you're very you're like he's and and another thing for the audience to understand I always give this example to people who don't understand R I
always say look for you he's just another scholar but imagine you watching premier league and you you're like okay this is all like professional football nice these are all Premier League footballers but imagine you being in the Premier League yourself and you play professional football and there's one then and then Messi or Ronaldo comes on the field and when you look at him the player you might as an audience you don't understand but the player on the field he sees Ronaldo and he'll be like this guy is something else he's the ocean of knowledge and this is the feeling I have for someone like Hamza Yu someone like
Jai because I know they are oceans of knowledge because I'm a very little little little insect in that on in that ocean you know because I'm part you know very tiny part of it so this is how I felt when I saw gandab and mallah it was very nice I just had 10 minutes maybe with him alone and I had a lot of questions a lot of questions and shout out to uh Malik Fel and Dr Sean who told me one night before they told me ask do some say something which you criticize to him because he love it do that because he wants that
from I said how can I in I don't have the cuts to do that you know and they like they pushed me to do it so I spoke to them and I had one question so I thought which one I'm going to go so I was thinking I was literally I thought about calling you and I'm like useless man will not pick up anyway so I'm not going to call him so Bas so so I called him and I had one question to ask about Islam and I asked him and I said to him shikh I um I have so many questions that
I want to ask you but the only thing which is in my mind that I you know I I um maybe the most prominent question is that like there are a lot of opinions which are very different of yours like they coming back off isaam other things hijab maybe uh very different opinions which you have but there is always a few opinions where I can say Ka if he's going this way 90% is going this way but he has still 10% of which have had the
same opinion but but when it comes to and for those who don't know um the story of of the cave where the Prophet God his first revelation R says that that is a madeup story and there is there is he gives the evidence of course I don't want to go too deep because he has a own his own series of parts and 10 parts where he explains that L just just a brief one he says that if that was true if that was true uh Why did no not even one sahabi narrate it and related that Hadi very much later
in life so why why did Abu Bakr all these people no one relate the Hadith and that is the most important thing which happened and of course the the re revelation of the the qur qurani aat where Allah says that it was a pleasant experience just to make it short and in the Hadith it's not a pleasant experience but to go I asked him that I said to him I didn't want to know about the Dal and stuff about about his um proof I asked him where do you get the okay I wouldn't say balls I would say where do you get the the guts you know where do you get this courage yeah where
do you get this him you know how how do you do that like you have a ocean of like everyone disagreeing with you like I would never dare to do that like how do you do that and said to him you went against your own for that like why did he who Farah and yeah he went isab wasn't that I think that wasn't his opinion as well no Hamid what is it Hamid fari did he go against him as well like in this is he absolutely isolated I think he's absolutely I don't thinked said that like if someone if I'm wrong
please correct me if someone in the audience but I think he I said that to him even your owners were against that so he didn't say he didn't tell me K it wasn't like that he agreed with me that moment but if I'm wrong I don't want to so sure that's I said that to him I said you went against how do you you know and he said to me uh that if you look at my and you know his speaking style is just so soft you know it's just yeah the man was just I mean he's so I mean his his dialogical his kind of transactional energy is amazing the way yeah engages people he says a few words and it's so
deep and he said you know I if you looked at my the way I lived I came from a Sufi household and this and that whatever and he said that for me finding God was my own Journey so I found God and when I found God I said okay I found him myself so when I found him myself I had to please myself and he said the Ayah of the Quran where Allah says you know where he says to that group of people that even if it when
they did wrong in interpretation he said you did with your with your own NS you know um and he said that here Allah clearly in his interpretation is saying that even if you believe in something 100% even if it's wrong you should believe in it because otherwise you're doing you're not doing Justice to your to to the believing in yourself sorry what's the even if it's wrong you should believe or you shouldn't believe sorry you should believe because you believe is right like yeah like for example I
believe this is like I believe doing something is right okay now you come and tell me it's wrong now I shouldn't even if let's say you are right and I'm wrong but I should still not do with mys because at the end of the day I believe is right you know that's go with what what where the heart leads you as in whatever you understand to be true even whether objective truth or not is met obviously you don't know you only go by your own because your day you believe Islam is the real truth that's the only day you actually become Muslim right
because if you don't believe and just because you're still not Muslim in a way you know because the heart is the main thing so this is what he was trying to say so Islam is what what he was trying so he said when I came to Islam Islam lead led me into that direction so when I these question don't even come into my mind otherwise I would have not have taken the roots I I took in life so he said that and uh yeah um in in the discussion later when we were in front of other people this was in private so uh in front of other people again he proved himself there were a few people
who asked very like sometimes disrespectful questions weird questions you know there was one guy who stood up and he said one guy was really funny M I swear down I was thinking about you at that moment because I was like if this guy was next to me he would have been at the floor like literally you would have died of laughing Allah abbar he's the guy said he said he got up and he's
like okay I swear out I was like did he and everyone was like did he just say that andab had the same tune because what he was trying to say you're part of our life probably that was he was trying to say yeah but he he I think he was just his words were a bit weird the way he used it so there was one guy why why did why was he saying that you were in my bedroom too what's the why did you yeah why did you translate this now why would you do that does he mean because I watched you on the
TV no I'm I'm genuinely trying to understand yeah he probably said you're part of our life you know okay as in I watch you everywhere I even watch you in the bedroom kind of thing yeah that that's what he's now I'm ating for the for the viewers they're going to be for the viewers for the the non for the nonv okay no the thing is the thing is then then the this one guy he got up and he said I I'm very upset with you you
know he said some word he said you know something like that I'll translate he said how did you how he said I'm very disappointed how like how did you
put one line you know basically in their status wise and uh he asked him that and a few other things with that topic and said to him he said listen I uh and he said something which was he never said before I think on camera which is I want you want you to react what he said he said you know first of all I I never did that because because
putting the you know uh according to the closeness to Allah or the prophet sallam I would never even put them in one line because there is no comparison when it comes to Ali the cousin the uh son-in-law Theif the one of the closest people and the first kid in Islam probably you know a guy who grew up in the with the prophet sallallah alhi wasallam and which is completely a different figure of a different time also you know I would never do that but then he said one sentence and literally I remember Dr
Hass sa was at the front and even he he me I looked at him and he was like initially met that face because he said but with all due respect if you put and I hope I translate it well if not don't blame R uh he said if you compare it according just in line of politics he said Ali but
those words he literally said those words and you know these are very very to say that and you know his life is on threat because of these kind of things so allahar the way he said that and so basically to translate it to the viewers he said that with all due respect if we just talk politics again if we just talk political achievements theni in front of
mu is nothing if we just talk about political achievements you know of both of them and then he highlighted that political achievements and Dean have nothing got to do with each other he made sure that people understand that just because someone is in that line ACH you know he has some achievements that does not mean that his Iman is he's a better Muslim than the other person and that is very very right you know I think the only one this is by the way my own talk now uh not to associate this with
but again people give the example of Omar there was just one Omar and there will never be Omar that is just so dumb of Muslims all the time like to say you know om a guy who has was the alpha male a good politician a good Amir a good leader and uh all these things together and an a wise guy to be everything together that is just the fantasy which probably will never happen again like if you look at the Quran it what do you mean to happen again as in another
om it's not common it's not common is course why is one second just give me one second why why why is Omar abdulaziz so well like you know after a long time why is there a figure like Omar abdulaziz these people don't just why is so so these people don't just come overnight like if you look at the Quran even I don't know if you agree with that but Allah when Allah talks about people and and their special qualities if you look at the Ayah of where he
says you know so he mentions the special quality of YF of having knowledge and being uh able to um govern uh you know uh to do to do these kind of things so this is not something common with every leader has but I yeah but I would just you see I I would say that I I think that statement is unfair um the statement about s
Ali and I think I think it's unfair to say it like that because I mean I can I think I understand what he's what's angle where he's coming from and but it's unfair putting it like that because you see you're not kind of measuring in the same like you're speaking about you see because with Ali he did you know this and this is the argument really against the Shia that
Ali was never rebellious against the other cffs and he was really in even if he had some disagreements at time but he was always you know in their ranks and very close and and honored and honored them now he was very patient in his own right for when his time like look let's let's be real like we all know that from the select few that would have let's say we don't know who the prophet would have selected
because the the prophet never selected anybody now one could say well we can infer you know he selected abak to lead the prayer therefore isak one could say well he selected Ali at the time of Hajj therefore it's Ali one could one could infer things but the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam didn't do that like he didn't categorically say this is the leader after me but we if we were to select a few ourselves a handful clearly Ali would have been one of them clearly there's no and my understanding is that just to kind of bring this I'll
bring it round to that see my understanding is that the prophet did consider Ali to be the first kff I I I believe he considered it and this this is very controversial no no I've said that no I've said this before I've said yeah I've said this before I've said in my explanation on that I believe that the whole basis which was a few months before the prophet's passing and Medina had had a kind of migration expansion several people had moved in to Medina some of them their hearts were
not with the Prophet by the way some of them were opportunists that had moved some of them like they they were with Islam they were with the prophet because it helped them some people they may have even been hidden Hypocrites because keeping in mind just after which is not so long if you you know count in the months before the prophet passes and you know it's relation to the Hajj and the prophet's passing there is an assassination attempt on the life of the Prophet you know when they go up the Alam and it's known as the and the 12 people that go up so the
prophets decid when they're coming back from tabuk to uh CH you know the Romans didn't show up and so the prophet's Army comes back and as they close approaching Medina there's this Valley known as the the with a kind of rise over it akaba and the prophet says because there's large numbers you guys go you know take that path through the valley I will go over now he's just going over with Y and he's going over with uh that's it as he goes over about give or take 12 people see like they hear a a rustling
and a noise and the prophet says that watch out so they look and these 12 people come charging but because they're prepared they move to the side and they're ready so the 12 people that come charging on their camels and I think some may have had horses they just kind of missed them Skirmish p and shoot down but they've got their faces covered so the prophet says in the famous and this is in sah Muslim and other books as well the prophet says he says do you did you recognize them Amar and Amar says no but I recognize the camels and the prophet shares the names
with Hua but he doesn't share them with anybody else and he says these were like at least 12 Hypocrites that were disguised as Muslims that were had plotted this assassin ination attempt on the prophet's life just we're talking months before the prophet passes now these people are living in Medina so the vibe in Medina is it can be challenging now the prophet I feel that when the prophet said look the the people had qur had come to
Islam but part of what they in found endearing was that qur is ranks have risen so even those who didn't like the prophet liked the fact that he brought them more status so now they like him you know it's like if for example I mean this is a poor analogy but let's just say if let's say pakistanis don't have a really good reputation worldwide now some Pakistani for some reason becomes really endeared and everybody loves him and therefore even if we didn't like him now because of him we have a rank so we might you know we'd start liking him too
so in that poor analogy there were certain people who didn't like the prophet before but because he had brought honor to qur they liked him so now the prophet considered I I feel he did consider s Ali to be his successor because he was young he had might he had strength he had wisdom he was his cousin he's been there from the beginning he was wise you know was Charming handsome all of these things and he was bnny Hashim so there was stability however however however the prophet tested the
waters with this Hadith with this statement let's see how they settle with it now remember this is at least how do how do how that's you interpret how do you know so so so this is now this is the obviously I'm giving you the summary because now it's you can go away and figure out the the bits and Bobs because I don't want to go into too much detail so now this Hadith that's being said because what was the purpose of this Hadith every no other satisfactory reason is appearing
however however it appeared that the general residents and qur didn't settle well with this you know this as a potential they weren't it wasn't marinating with them they weren't accepting it and the prophet in the next two months felt that that these leaders in quray like Abu sufyan and all these other people Ali to them is a little kid he's not a little kid but to them he's a little kid of course to them he's a kid who's grown
up who was born in front of them now he's not a child he's a fully developed strong man but to them he's like that and these other Chieftain and these other people they're not going to accept him so I do feel that the prophet tested the waters with the people but then let felt that it's not going to work now if I force it upon them they will Rebel and you see the problem with forcing something is it could snap so if I leave it to them they will figure it out you know that Allah will not abandon the umah and then they chose Abu Bakr now AB Bakr would have been one of the people
that the prophet would have come up with unquestionably if the prophet was to choose a handful of people I without a doubt feel that the first four would have been the four amongst that five let's say the prophet was to have selected five people so now with that in mind where I was bringing this she was that that s Ali I feel kind of felt this as well but he patiently respectfully honored the situation he was a bit upset with the first sh but I feel that wasn't as the Shia say because he felt his
number but more so he felt he should have been a part of the consultation which is understandable now when he does commit he's patient for the better part of two three decades when his time came it burst into this civil kind of War now I'm not saying look I understand and I've said in the past that abas AG disagreed with him with his uh you know the way he went about saying remove such and such people or do such and such people I'm not speaking of that but what I'm saying is I do feel it's
unfair given that and the fact that muawiya was given it with a different kind of plateau he was given it with the sense that there was these conquests that there was now this greater territory there was no more inner Civil War there was this peace he then and he did have unquestionably you know mu had he was a great Statesman you know he had that kind of um the astuteness you know that political astuteness of a Diplomat you know he definitely had that but I just
feel that saying it in that sentence like that it's unfair because I know you don't I know ham Sab would never mean it in any kind of disrespect he's too you know uh learned of a figure but it would then come off that way you see it would kind of Hit the people in that way if do do do you see where I'm coming from because that's what I'm saying it's unfair the thing is you know the funny thing is every time we talk I disagree with you like on 99% of issues and that the one thing comes like last time I remember we were talking last time we were talking yeah
it's good disagreement now what I was saying is basically that um last time was the whole shik and and this grave thing and this Shrine and stuff and this time it's this issue the thing is m i uh I wouldn't agree with you because I think what you're doing again you're not doing it by purpose I think it's very dangerous because it's opening a door it's opening door the door it opens no I
don't yeah I don't mean to open a I apologize if if it's if it's coming off com no no I'm trying to say what what I was trying to say my point was okay the thing is when when you say these kind of things it's a lot of interpretation we just went in of you thinking that in that he probably meant that when you say that it's an interpretation of you that and we won't we shouldn't forget the rule of you yourself and me and this
that these are all you know these are all which like we cannot you weren there yeah so so it's not like we can we can actually and because when you say that that the prophet probably thought no keeping in mind keeping in mind I am actually a I am somebody that is that you know clearly uh supports mu and you know I'm not one of these people that this is in fact I believe his his contribution was amazing and invaluable and yeah I'm just trying to make the
point that if we believe these interpretations and take them uh the way you said it the problem is everything what happens after that you realize of from Abu bakr's side to Fatima uh Omar's side these things become very you know the intentions become weird you you understand it can be I'm not say no no this I'm not saying that you said it I'm just saying that if someone believes that the prophet wanted Ali to be you can look at it that way
otherwise look at no no no no because that's no no no because she look that's super simplistic and absolutely misses the mark because look the people no no not on this point no no hear me out everyone the way hear me out no hear me out hear me out look nobody is saying I made look nobody believes that the prophet dictated who the leader should be nobody believes that right so the prophet didn't dictate who the leaders could should be whereas he could have it would have just taken a few seconds so it was not something he could
not do even the even the you know the the the tragedy of the Thursday Hadith that the sh it's it's it's a false you know angle because look the prophet was still alive for several days after that he didn't pass away on that day so all he had to say was just say look guys this is the leader in fact the fact that there should be one leader after the prophet is not even definitive hence in bukari what did the ansar say they said I'll tell you how we do it you guys have one leader we'll have one leader this is why the great Maliki scholar Dai
he said that from this Hadith in his commentary on bukari that it shows that there is no obligation to have one kff because this was not the understanding of the ansar of and he said so the one k one leader is a Sunnah not a this I'm just showing you how the interpretations go now the of that the prophet said look whosoever I am his you know I am his and Ali is his you know I am his mola Ali is his M you see for the the right the
challenging thing with this Hadith is what does this Hadith mean like what is it about now inter you can take no so no no no there is none like this there is none no but you can take the if a prophet comes after sure would you do that sure so I accept it so this is why I said if the prophet was to have selected randomly without an order let's say a handful five people in them would have been the four of course I believe that this so Omar being in them is unquestionable
however Omar Omar was not that close in the inner Circles of quray his tribe yeah abak was Tam which is still closer and and Ali's hasimi which is real close it's at the epicenter and the Arabs are tribal so you can't forget this you know this is but you should forget it because the prophet fought against the whole tribalism right no because there is
AI that the leaders will be from qur so the thing is why did the prophet say that Hadith because he knew the qur would not the Arabs have only accepted this they're not going to accept anything else he knows how they are you know there's a stubbornness in some of the Arabs at the time you think he said that because of that 100% he said it because of that that's the reason he said it because they would not accept anybody else they wouldn't even accept quray but they have accepted quray so this has now happened so they can't undo the past so they've accepted it they're knock going to accept a different one so
let's keep it so we can keep a a stability now s Ali this Hadith just two months before the prophet passing after Hajj what is the context now the general context that the sunnis that we give and I used to give as well was that oh this is to do with Hajj but in all honesty if you're being you know it was only upon really analyzing all of these Hadith and reading the and reading all of these things and the sources and putting everything together that I kind
of thought that like realistically we're not being you know I felt anyway it's not being objective like let's be honest like if if we remove ourselves from emotion saying that that meaning is to do with Haj doesn't really you know it sounds very superimposed now so to me it did make sense that the prophet tested the the tested the waters with the people not said it clearly he didn't say this is going to be but this was as good as it was going to get as a test for the people now you have to remember
the good companions the solid Companions of the Prophet that would follow the prophet to the end of the Earth they were finding themselves in a minority in Medina among the migration that had happened in the last you know in the last year of the prophet's life to Medina that a lot of these people that had moved and and a clear example is the attempt on the prophet's life months before he passes by people who are living in Medina and known like 12 of them come to assassinate the prophet at AKA when he's got a whole army with him that's how confident they'd become so
keeping that in mind I feel that it made sense that the prophet tested it and found that it wasn't they weren't receiving it well like these Chieftain weren't it wasn't V like they weren't going to accept it even if he said it there was a chance they would Rebel so rather than that keep the community together and therefore let them resolve it Allah will not abandon you know y that Allah is with the Muslims he will not abandon them that people will find that the the community will come together and find their solution just like they did
in you know one of the greatest people of this umah and that's undeniable so I'm not by the way in any way t as you know some of these uh sunnis uh have kind of some of them have chosen this I mean it's up to them I'm not here to kind of say I'm not that anyway I do accept the caliphate as it was with say abak first I accept him first I accept Omar second I accept obviously I to me this is how this evidence plays out that it made this is how it makes
sense but that's not to say and I feel honestly this is a common ground between Sunni and Shia that that people could actually get to and I feel that it would actually dissolve a lot of barriers as well and that said I do believe that mu was one of the greatest kind of uh even his government his government I mean he he had zero rebellions he had he in his 40 Years of rule economy econom very good people are going to say economy but
economy they've come to the economy I'm talking about the fact that he had zero rebellions against him the years of him being the ruler of Damascus and the 20 years of of him being a kaliff he had zero which speaks volumes of course and I am actually very kind of Charmed by the way his diplomacy like I feel wow like he really had a Charming uh you know diplomacy yeah like but also very Charming you know he would say that uh to uh to that I rule the people with a fine hair between me if
they pull I ease up if they ease up I pull like I don't let the hair break like I will like where I need to be soft I'll be soft where I need to be firm I'll be firm he was a good politician he was clearly a good politician this is what I think to sum it up to sum it up I think what Ram meant is him being an extreme good politician good diplomacy Diplomat whatever you would call it him being good in politics does not mean a good leader someone who can rule a country does not have to do anything with his IM or his being nothing to do with I do feel yeah
that his greatest uh blunder you know may Allah have you know blessed his afterlife obviously he was uh you know he was the brother-in-law of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi was people forget this you know his sister was married to the prophet but his greatest blunder was his you know the the blinding love he had for his son yazid which who was a one of the greatest calamities for this umah and I completely disagree with Zakir Nike who you know says on his things
that and you know like I'm not here to curse I'm not saying we need to curse and I agree with what Imam Abu hanifah said when he was asked about yaid uh uh yeah imif yes of course well he said when he was asked about yazid he said look you know he said we don't curse him we don't praise him you know like we don't even concern our tongues with him but he was nothing but a stain uh on this on his father's Legacy yeah and and no on on this umah you know he's it's what zabi says that a person who you know he begins by his his
thing by uh uh you know uh attacking Medina and then catapulting the Kaa and then ends his legacy by killing the grandson of the Prophet Sall Al I mean what what you know if anybody could have a wretchedness about them it's going to be yazid but look that said and as his father obviously his son he had every I'm sure father has a you know a blind spot and that was his greatest blunder really but that does not mean what the way the Shia then extend this to Mu yeah forgetting as well that he was
one of the scribes of the Quran you know he was one he was one of the people that would document the Quran upon the instructions of the Prophet this this is a topic it won't yeah so this is yeah but I I I find that yeah so but I I'm you know it's interesting that we kind of discussed it and we have just another interesting little sentence not on this topic but on what you said and then we'll we'll wrap this up because I know we've taken so much it's getting late there as well you know on the whole thing yeah you know from a academic Viewpoint just purely academic yeah like if we're just speaking you know words on
paper thesis let's forget everyone who disagreeing just academic no no no no no I I I couldn't care about people agreeing or disagreeing right so I mean just the argument I could see if it's it's just R sabb's thing on paper and this being a pure theoretical discussion yeah I could see his points that he's making about look I could see this however however you know my recent let's say one two years Journey especially that I've that has been a lot deeper into this kind of Mystic side of
Islam you mean the mushrooms the the the the mysticism you the whole Cosmos you you're squeezing it into one mush in two years you didn't have one but you know that the well you know for for people that don't know there's a Hadith inkari where the Prophet Sall alhi wasallam says no here where he says that that the that one of the the things that has great
in it is Al and is a truffle it is the roots of mushrooms so now coming back to coming back to this point I feel that the mystical understandings these kind of this journey that I've been on and what I've been that the is actually so powerfully significant and relevant in the Journey of Faith that I I feel that it was 100% like even like put the
asan and these things aside I feel that it was that it certainly did was the way and was an event most certainly just because of how powerful the event is for a Journey of Faith and it kind of guides us through that and I and I'll just tie on a note here that the kind of denim denimo the kind of put you know things coming together you know he highlights and even though this does have a it is inkari and these things but I understand it's
from and there's a whole time period but the uh even Hadith without a senate um you have the Hadith of Allah being the treasure that wasn't known and he loved to be known now when speaks about this in his he says that this Hadith is not sound from its Sun however he says we have come to learn through our experience of Kash that this most certainly is real and authentic now he
leaves it to the people that if you don't don't want to you know we have this is a way of learning for us through the Deep unconscious but I understand some people may not want to you know walk that walk so they don't have to accept it but I do find myself with uh you know under the tutelage of these great sh likei and I do feel that this Hadith is actually very powerful and it teaches a lot when it comes to that whole thing of you know like the Dark Night of the Soul this this Journey of Faith because Allah one of the definitions if we go to the
word Allah being mush from uh its roots one of the roots in Arabic is that which it you know it leads to this kind of bewilderment with amazement and Terror because you know in English you have that mysterium tremendum at fascinans the great mystery that Terri I yet fascinates that this is Allah that his Jalal can terrify in a way all you know all striking awesome in that classical a sense like we say in Udu like Rob which is an Arabic word as
well like habba but but at the same time attracts you so powerfully so do find this being invaluable like such a source so I um you know just want to just bring that uh to kind of tie it up that it has great value but she really it's been such so amazing speaking to you sharing these conversations and you giving your time honestly Allah bless you and it's been a pleasure yeah we we haven't spoken in this length now for quite a while so yeah thank you and uh always welcome of
