a point he has a point but the click and you know I suppose they say Hitler was always late and I guess he managed to accomplish a thing or two yeah no absolutely that's not an inspiration people do not be inspired by Hitler that's an that's the absolute opposite of my message so what is going
on I just was curious what are you curious about Rock block is it your sex well tea or is it your ideology or is it you what are you curious what's going on no need to act without me zippy you come on live you said I'm curious people are gonna be curious about your curiosity I'm intrigued right now yeah just just a little I mean before I you know I I
first I saw you on the on some YouTube know I'm some Instagram stories you know where you said you know T not and I was like what and then I was like okay let's check them out and then man your your your ideas all your way to describe Islam was you know pretty shocking in at some point but I yourself I'm always shocked murmurs I'm always I'm always
kind of surprising myself it's like now I mean and then if you think about you know you have good points you have us also some facts you you you bring sources you know not everybody needs to be to be a you know to have flew what you say but I mean it's just a whole new way to think about the Islam on these days and yeah it's pretty radical yeah I mean yeah depends on for whom but it's it's
radical and it was freeing you know releasing me from some I would say invisible chains or something like that you know you are I don't know you are no you no you no makers of all yeah yeah see the thing is to you see we have these kind of restrictions on our thought on our concepts on how we're allowed to think we have a lot of this so much and sometimes it's about
trying to see they're trying to kind of question the questioning trying to as you know maybe anthropologists or sociologists would say to objectify the objectifying lens to see things out of them and and and then obviously with that comes a huge backlash because the problem with critical thought and institutionalized religion is that they just do not mix so well so you know without causing the problem but yeah cool man I nearly all right I just yeah
if you want to be in Switzerland sometimes I mean yeah I will completely you've learned it man isn't that way they have also that is it Malmo is that in Switzerland or Sweden on my mixing the tool mama we have cheese chocolates and body so right now I thought no I meant you know the IKEA thing is the man yeah yeah they used the same initials mom and I thought this it was may have been linked to some city or town called Malmo or something but anyway that's some ignore that yeah yeah I know you
want to be here maybe we can organise something for open-minded individuals let's say like yeah I'm much appreciated yeah I mean let's inshallah as the lockdown is over let's insha'Allah connect and if you're on Instagram message me message me on Instagram and you did what's your profile with this with this you know this hadith questions where I wanted what you what's your name they say rock black oh oh no no this is
this is just trolling on YouTube what what's your insta page or if you don't want to say here you can just draw me it's we are Zen uni yeah oh yeah vini yeah I asked you once you know regarding these hadith and chains and want to visualize it maybe you know sure okay cool it sounds good my problem yeah will write you then c'mon we'll catch up wanna appreciate appreciate your thoughts and tuning in
take care stay blessed man rock black leave you to it man I'm away for now all right people we have fun himself chaining atheist into your hand you're bringing them back to ya uh coach Bunga dr.
napur hey you know we got a key but this is this is very straightforward mine it's I really appreciate the tips as well this is I'm gonna play around yet with some of the I don't know if you can move the if you can flip the things by the way as in I'm on the left here I don't know if you can flip that or go up maybe a you can either oh you can yeah yeah you get like no no if you if you kick yourself out of the stream and I will move to the right I mean I would move to the left and then you can come back on are usually do you have an OCD or something you want to be on the other side no no it's just because my webcam is pointing that way so it looks like
I'm looking off the screen and the person is on the opposite side so it's not because of the oh let me try that in fact one come back on now that base brought me back on from this I'll figure I'll figure it out but how are you doing man how are things I'm very good I wanted to say obviously thanks to you for doing a video and I'm glad that you're also doing this you know by the way I was the first person to use this not that is anything but I'm actually doing it I actually saw you and
I did think I thought well first of all I thought wow what you know what I've got to give it to your bravery I thought first of all but uh secondly I was like wow how does he do that how does that work so intrigued me so this me doing this is partly indebted to to you and your that one way in people are gonna be smoked that and and you know how it started it's funny how it started I don't know you can remember that the Pakistani movie got mostly MOBA whom I nicknamed malama Norfolk him and
I were meant to have a discussion and I used this software for it nobody was using it at that point it wasn't known but now some Pakistani celebrities he using it as well but anyway so I used it I brought him on and then he was just you know playing games I kicked him out yeah I I kicked him out and then I was like what do I do now this was meant to go on for three hours and then I just thought well let's take calls from no ordinary people and then they kicked in I was like wow this is a brilliant idea this is this is actually amazing that you can actually speak with these people I was a little bit apprehensive a start because I did think that maybe people will be someone would just come and troll and abused me or whatnot but
nobody ever did I've taken as I said as I was telling you I've taken over a thousand calls they'll probably more and no one has ever misbehaved it's just remarkable probably because when you're speaking with someone there's a human connection on and then they go okay I'm speaking with a human so it's different from leaving prolly comments under or on your Facebook post or Instagram post or YouTube comments are the worst and it's different but this is very same people when they come and have us have a chat with you that's when they go oh okay this is a human being so let's talk like a human being and then yeah you know yeah you know how good I am so you know
I leave them speechless I've said it that you know like if people want to see they just have to see that one photo of you when you're dancing I think that just does it all well people people have made some memes on that too but the Podesta case that's a part of it I mean there's a logic to that but anyway well thank you for having me and your most helpful wish I wish you best of luck I just to say I'm still watching your videos regularly you know in some way you have interest me as well the way I think I
picked up on your a lot of people say this is Harris is trade market for some because I've been listening to you a lot and then you know like when you listen to cyber just kind of enough oh you have just got to kind of stretch it to like
much appreciated right so wow this is going so well um I'm I'm impressed myself Kobe Kobe hood going Briscoe they don't you know that's the thing I I would request that those people it's I got a signal saying that those people who are not going to be engaged so if I've already spoken to you says if you can remove yourself from the I don't know how you remove yourself but presumably you know how to remove yourself because there's a queue and so it doesn't let the other people on so
guys you guys will know how to do it you remove yourself from the screen so it only allows up to I think nine or ten people right so Jamal I suppose I've spoken to you already awesome yep excellent excellent you guys are dude you guys are doing it man look at that vah vah doing it right Joe word I'm good I'm good how are you doing towards yeah just so you can live oh I thought it would be because I when I got the notification I thought it would be my trap or something

interesting interesting stuff you do and it you and it look Ethan you're doing I still have to do some of those time stamps for you oh yeah you're a legend to add your legend Kumar people so any thoughts any questions any anything that people learn patience where people learn learn see no questions contentment in

back our fry Jay what happened what happened oh you how are you I'm good I'm good Dalila they come yeah oops Surat Churubusco kahiko chapati kind of used to say that where are you where are you tuning in from I'm from Osaka schmear just like you okay you're right now in Azad Kashmir yes I'm in the back with me right now
you look catched me yeah what's going on man what's talk to us Jay what's preoccupying your precious mind well preserve its about a scrupulosity about what sorry but super velocity velocity yes the you know once you get a worse worse are about someone holy like prophet or God okay then that spirals into something else and then it's like just evil thoughts again and again and again it's like a psychological disorder or something yeah yeah OCD like obsessive
compulsive thoughts ill overwhelming kind of overwhelming thoughts and all the time constantly like a something interesting about you know you'll notice in Islam how to overcome these Islam shows a ritual which is interesting because these compulsive thoughts are quite ritualistic almost in their nature as well the way they kind of cling to the psyche so sometimes you'll see a ritual like saying something like like a person it depends there's there's more than one
relation if it's about something there's a short door which the Prophet said that a llama la Toya alot a rock well a hater Allah hey Rock well Allah have a look and it's interesting how it rhymes and in some that's one and the other aspect is sometimes there's just something you know they call it tougher in Arabic it's not spitting but it's just like like something like that on the left-hand side now this isn't something from a rational perspective that is reasoned but you find it in some
narrations as a ritual to counter the obsessive rituals like so sometimes a person might have like in some cases like a person might have nightmares or they might worry about certain thoughts and now what they do is they teaches something some narrations like a person that's tough I like and he just says how do we let him initiate on a regime and and sometimes with that LaJolla will occur at a level at that there is no strength except through a lot and it's interesting that a ritual cancels out a ritual it's just from a psychological
perspective I found that very fascinating rather than you see the important message is you have to remember that these were service these was Wasser you are not responsible for them you are not accountable you are not they are not a sin for you to think about them you have to just ignore them and you have to just let them go okay just like just don't don't fight like you don't fight them you just try to let it go try not to hold on to the thought but sometimes with that a ritual might help like you know like people sometimes they do like touch wood
or they write it or if that's no good then you know I was a villain measured on regime LaJolla Willa or Taylor Beulah and then you move on to something positive but yeah I hope that inshaallah helps one yeah I hope so too so what you what I just caught from there what I was actually looking for was that I'm not basically sitting here right no even if you're having the most horrific or the most insulting or ahead of rating even if you are have been the most
degrading thoughts in Islam about sacred about you know some sacred symbols or figures or it doesn't matter you know Allah does not hold you to account to these things and she don't these things work on a way the more you obsess over them the more they yeah clink yeah so you have no you have to kind of let them slide let them slide okay they are not they are harmless and they don't mean anything they don't mean that you have no Iman they don't mean anything like that and you know this is a famous hadith actually for some of the Companions came to the prophet and they said that you
know in fact even whilst we're praying we have such was always what's wasa you have to Adam AAHA Doudna and yet to had the time that you know we can't even dis mention them to you that's how horrific they are when the Prophet said that you know it's a very shocking very intriguing response by the Prophet that he said that Kesari holy man that is the purity of your faith that I said that you know because they may be doubting the faith you see so the Prophet says the darkest sorry holy man that hamdulillah let the errata emerald Shaitaan in a West versa that them that
all praise be to Allah the most the Shaitaan could ever do is just give thoughts he can't do anything physically so don't don't sweat it man don't sweat it in shock why this was also another one of my questions idea is this at least he or not but have you been rejecting like loads of the pieces right so I was like I should ask him like am I on the right path here or am I just you know no no you on the right path Munchie it is you know these things are not these things are they happen to many people they happen to the best of us it's not something which and the more
you pay attention the more they grip you you know it's like it kind of lures you in the more you pay attention that you have to kind of gradually it may not happen overnight but you got to kind of let go of that grip man that's what it is so cool man che thank you very much you know we're talking to you I hope she is walking right must very very hot right now very so I can imagine I can imagine take care man thank you or fry people
right what is going on what is going on people Kashmir is burning it is it is indeed Karim fix up say it Ali we've got say it Ali says Ali to say at Ali's but people you've got to put on your video cam so put on your video camera and your audio cam MHS yeah let me Oh Salam aleikum Salaam alaikum and walaikum A'Salam MHS ha ha okay I
Mitchell's end you know Mohamed Hussein yeah Mohammad Hussein Shah I'm a Bengali so my hostility siletti Muhammad Husain see Latifah you doin it Muhammad you do any it's good man it's good where are you connecting from is it London I'm from America from Michigan me chicken fry
right all right Oh what's preoccupying your precious thoughts um to be honest move tea you know you know what I like you know back for anything bad you know no no people they asked me what do you think about what's your thought about movie ablaze you know I'm like to be honest like you know I don't take his fear to ballet I take his jokes you know
at least something you know they say serves at least there was some benefit I could give it's all good man it's all good because human it is one of the best possible things I think in this you know it's amazing that humor in and of itself is quite still remains for the most part I feel unfathomable by human psyche I mean by psychologists and you know people who study this theories on why we find things funny but there isn't no conclusive understanding that why do we
actually laugh the way we laugh and I mean no it's not so much about the sound but it's more about why we find certain things funny because it's almost counterintuitive but if you know people say it's a defense mechanism other people say it's you know but it doesn't really add up and and I feel that in laughter you find the you find intimations of the divine indeed so man so of right so what's rocking in Michigan man what's going down yeah hamdulillah you know due to the covert you know everything seems back to normal you know people aren't kidding about that Co Viet you know you know
there's some people there's still like you know Prakash pissed and let you know there's still like you know social distancing and you know even the Mossad is al hamdulillah like most of the massages are open and you know markets are open I see I see yeah okay well I mean they're easing up I think there's a bit of confusion they don't really know I mean they they easing up from this week July the 4th it's your day American Independence Day but they've chosen it to ease up but I think they're kind of freaking out at the same time and let's see how it goes
I guess but yeah man it's but it's well look we've got a few of it well it's been a pleasure Mohammad having you on more on insta Instagram and stuff like that drop me a message and I'll keep I'll keep you in mind man my pleasure my pleasure Wolfie take him and stay blessed Salaam alaikum yeah by the way one of my friend his name is hassan malik he gave you salami hey say if you get on live with Mookie yeah Hasib you're doing it you doin it mind you do come on I'll leave you with that take care slaw Molly listen what a fright
people are violets for me how are you yeah with the webcam me are you depriving the the viewers from the bottle if it's okay with you I would like to not to have the camera on it because I camera shy yeah and beside you know some of these have forbidden taking any pictures I'm just
so sorry it's where are you connecting from I'm connecting from Canada and yeah and I had a question that if I may ask it's a surf thank you thank you my question is basically I'm a PhD candidate and in sociology and part of my research is that I'm looking at how Muslim views religious views are changing due to their different socioeconomic backgrounds so I'll give you an example one of the papers that I'm working on it's looking at how a first of all interestingly majority of American Muslims believe in a salvific
inclusive interpretation that is they believe that other religions can also lead to salvation in the Hereafter unlike the Muslim world population so between 50 to 60 percent of American Muslims they believe in that you can see that that is good too that is quite different to what the Muslim world is only 18 percent would believe in that right that other religions can be to salvation now we know from the theological interpretations and all that you know we have in Arabic Nathania on one side who are giving a different interpretations and the dominant view but what is interesting is that there are certain socio-economic factors that influences that and this is just one example my research is looking at American
Muslims homosexual attitudes what is interesting is that for example when Muslims have non-muslim friends or they are coming from a high-income bracket it influences their views in such a way that it becomes more tolerant more pluralistic so interestingly within that research data that I'm doing those who even go to the mosque most often but they are below the median income they tend to hold that only Islam leads to salvation but those who go to the mosque also the most time but they are coming from higher income or they have more non-muslim friends what happens that they're more likely to believe that the
religions can also lead to salvation so this in essence shows that how one socio-economic background influences one's interpretation of religion now the thing is that if that is the case and you know this issue about the Sutra logical belief amongst Muslims is something that has always been debated but the dominant with position has been that only Muslims would attain the question then comes is that as I've shown and there's you know there's the theoretical work within that but there's that empirical data that is consistently showing that okay if you have certain socio-economic condition that influences your religious interpretations if that is the case then how can one say one's religious interpretation is definite
when their socio-economic background influences them so if you're reading the Quran for example it's going to your background that is socioeconomic background is having an influence on you now this creates a problem for the Muslims because then it means that there is no absolute necessity there are multiple Islam's and so from a multi perspective how would you tackle that I think that's very it's a very fascinating question so yes I mean the it is true that they have been several studies done into the the correlation
between affluent societies and religiosity does that you know there seems to be this correlation of the an increase in affluence leads to a decrease in somewhat of religiosity and is that positive I mean these are these causal events or are they just correlating I mean are they circumstance under that of course you man so there's a theory known as post much in theory which shows that those nations that are more economically developed what happened there people into those of
the population they tend to be perhaps less religious and at the same time they tend to have more liberal views and the other papers I was talking about is that same thing you know when I was saying that American Muslims interesting the question was asked do you support same-sex marriage majority of American Muslims support same-sex marriage based on 2017 Pew survey and again the reasons that we're coming out is that for example if it's their income if they're in from coming from the higher income if their friendship with American Muslims are non non Muslims in America so what is happening is that even if one is religious their economic socio-economic background is influencing that and whether you know and so yes the data
shows that when it comes to country level post-materialism fury it shows that the more industrial a country is the more liberal use they're going to be having this is what we're noticing in north american muslims and that's the reason not American Muslims tend to be more liberal compared to Muslims in UK for example because of the social because of the economic development that the Muslims in America are also experiencing that is they're higher in income so then the question comes how is it possible to define what is Islam because everyone is going to give their interpretation based on their socio-economic background I mean I was for example I was trained in actually in you know in Islamic Sciences i attained had these edges and all that but then
studying all these things also influenced my views as well and having discussions with people from other faiths coming these you know they're asking me questions and that in turn led me to look at the at muslim literature but then instead of reading let's say you open the interpretations i started looking at if nabis interpretation so sorry i sorry if i actually United some more but please go ahead I mean you see I think there's a number of questions here the man that need to be asked you see this thing of this then leads a problem distant leads to problematize in the oneness of Islam or the oneness of the
atomic appearance understanding I think that needs to be questioned in and of itself you see that is an assumption you see that that Islam in essence was always meant to provide the exact same subjective you know subjectivity to its subjects that is an assumption it was never really stated I mean what to us I mean what's to say that Islam was not meant to mean different things to different people even though this huge overlaps I mean it's like they will be obviously this the factors like that
allies one the messenger things like this but to some people in society they may they may take from Islam a certain you know something that helps them in their lives to other people it may be slightly different they may view it differently so I don't I don't really see a contradiction in them may I add something in that so mostly relates for example you spoke about you know though he'd we know that within the yes there is the notion of to eat but how the heat is understood we know the what the tell what you do or says the who then all those things right so even our understanding of that and yes I agree with you from the beginning I mean
there's there's this notion amongst modern Muslims that there's this one Islam there's some reasons for that you know time doesn't allow me to explain that but what I've noticed is that within Islam and you know one of the best books in seeing the diversity is most significant everybo you'll notice that on each issue Muslims call from the beginning we're having differences of opinions whereas Ferrari whether Salah in etc but having said that look take the example of the the messenger of allah now it is possible that you know just because we are agreeing on something that is just simply an intersubjective agreement it doesn't mean that one cannot hold a different interpretation so for example someone
who may not believe in the concept of hartamanda be may say well you know we're taking this under interpretation and just because the majority is not saying they're Muslims well it's the majority who are not defining them so again it breaks down to the instance that there is no singular notion of what is Islam right okay now I agree to some extent with what you're saying right so so for example when you say that look what is that there is no notion of Islam that Islam seems to dissipate I would disagree with that
part that Islam is the there is a notion of Islam the difference is that you see what people are struggling with is ambiguity mm-hmm now I feel that that's not necessarily a problem I don't feel that that's a problem but I recognize that that is the problem for many people because in society it's a bit like in how you have you see what I would call a kind of intellectual autism but you have a certain people they where they are on the spectrum when it comes to things
like ambiguity how comfortable are they with that to some people they need things to be black and white for the world to make sense there are certain and I would feel that that maybe many people actually that are like that maybe even you know I mean this is I don't it's difficult to put a percentage on it but I would feel that there are countless people like that but for many people sometimes they don't really they can handle ambiguity it doesn't mean that everything dissipates just because it's ambiguity but most people date the thing is that Islam then is shaped based on what one's interpretation is
therefore for example someone might seem of table 8 says Islam is you know is as equal as a interpretation given by mostly Tokyo's money at the end there is no sure there's ambiguity that means there is no certainty and because there is no certainty we cannot define that this is this one we can say yes this is Islam a a this is farm B this is fancy you see like if I ask you I understand what you say yeah and in many ways this is like saying the discussion of the universals and the particulars mm-hmm that you know to some extent that we're saying well okay these are all different but we seemed like like let's uh state animals you take
animal what makes we have a category of dogs for example now you have something you know like an Alsatian or you have I'm not so well-versed with so many of the names but you have many as some of these what's it called the masks I slipped my mind but you know the huge dog and then on the other hand you have a poodle mm-hm and they are still one category and yet human beings seem to recognize that and this means studies done on children where they how they've recognized categories and we even children pre
verbal before speech where they're shown different photos and seem at what point they will pay like they will look harder and it seems to be that they recognize the category has changed now in child cognitive studies they've done things like so for example putting a rabbit in between or putting a cat in between these photographs now you see what I'm trying to say is that I understand there is huge diversity but this is with many things what strings a set of things to get like what makes we have Islam is a social construct it is a religion is a social construct I
recognize that but what we seem to have some understanding of what pieces it together like rates what makes a person a let's say a Pakistani as an example what I mean you could say well being brown but no but then there's so many people do you know even within Pakistan that may not be brown or maybe have a different skin tone or may have a different food or a different language different yeah may I'd like you give to someone is the Pakistani I mean we can look at it from so many ways like okay there's enough citizen like does he have citizenship
right no he did right any citizens right you're right but I would have assumed you are you have a Pakistani background right so what I'm trying to say is that the other what makes what makes me zentai stunning my assumption based on your looks for example right but totally you're not money right you're not impacts fine because you don't have a citizenship so though I know but no but why I am Pakistanis how could you you see by now this is the thing that you see you'll because you could say well I assume you're apply standing because your parents were from Pakistan right but then what if my parents were born and they left Pakistan
before Pakistan was created right so now but they were from a certain part that now became Pakistan now what you see what I'm talking about these are social constructs you seen our social constructs sometimes they have ambiguity with them and yes they are human in positions upon social ideas now I understand you want it to be absolutely black and white but the world doesn't work that way does it first of all mark Italy it's not me that wants a black-and-white version but the thing is that these are the questions that are then of course of course sorry I don't
mean that that's okay you the issue is when it comes to you know and that's the example that was trying to give you you know you mentioned about the Pakistani example you know and then you said we can kind of there's that so correct me if I'm wrong you're saying there's a certain general characteristics of every social construct that defines it as such right is that your understanding now here's the thing that is simply an intersubjective agreement amongst a community right now Alex people yeah but doesn't mean that it's obscene that would be the wines objectives that is simply for example if 99 percent of
Muslims believe in a certain Ikeda and one person that doesn't know won't know but it's about you see it's not about 99 percent believing in it even if they believe differently but they seem to recognize now human beings we have these social realities psychical realities this is a psychosocial reality religion is part of that realm now we seem to recognize Muslims now you may say for example that is a Sunni Muslim that is a Shia Muslim that is a you know this deviant that is that that is a hadith that is at the oh Bundy that is but you still you may disagree with us
people may even excommunicate them but they still seem to begin the discussion by recognizing oh but they are of this genre of Islam but we think they've got it wrong that's a judgment they're making secondarily but they are primarily recognizing just as we like race is a social construct I get that but we seem to recognize that okay this is what it is even though it's very difficult I mean there's many things that are very difficult to actually pinpoint but when it comes to wording like like so for example a beauty or goodness like it's very
difficult for you to exactly define what beauty is it's very subjective and right but we know what beauty is but then within love like the noise no no no you really know that's what I was trying to say we do not know the essence of beauty or for example do we not know the essence notion of what beauty is my be the beauty that sub-continent holes may differ for beauty what is held in for example different parts of the country world right it's not so is there a statement that there is no beauty in this will then that's the problem I mean that's what I mean how can we even assume what beauty is going with the fact that there is no
beauty in this world what about goodness yeah that's yeah I mean why is your us in this world the problem is how do you define goodness goodness these are the cataclysmic the trio of philosophers you know you've got you've got beauty you've got goodness in there these things they could not define them because there's certain things that have and we seem to recognize them as human being that is the case sorry sorry if I'm interrupting if that is the case we have some notion of Islam but then to pinpoint that this is the interpretation
whether it's about or here whether it's about race Allah whether it's about salat all of those things are going to differ and then in essence we cannot say any of these things are particularly this is the correct definition you need to do them well I agree with you when it comes to you see I agree with you in part when I I'm just saying that what is correct there is an element of subjectivity I agree with that so for example when I say this is beautiful we've just had coming to you by Billy it do and it really saying beauty is a size 18 plus okay you're doing it Billy but you see
now people may say to me there is beauty in the world because I see landscapes and I see you know all this kind of what I see nature and I see people and I see you know beautiful people and I see art and I see these things and to them they are passing that judgment they are saying yes there is beauty in this world and here it is now somebody may disagree and say well that's your opinion and I accept that but to that person they can be quite certain to them so this question that is their certainty I feel there is certainty even if it's at a
subjective level but in essence is not everything at a subjective level and then it's shared into subjectively and then it means at the end sure we can have some notion of Islam but then all these differences of opinion are simply one what one is holding you can have your version of Islam and extremists can I wonder their version of Islam a moderate can have their version of Islam and all of those are just different forms of Islam and so there is no as Islam is in truth at least that we can understand it I agree with you and disagree with you in in the last part I agree with you that in what you're saying that look everybody could have their version but what seems to and what
seems to happen is over time some versions seem to kind of just become more dominant and there may be politics involved with that they may be power they may be other dynamics you know dynamic factors I accept that in which which what allows what how is also doxy created and what is the standardization process of Orthodoxy I agree with you it is you know it is not just based on truths there's this power dynamics there's other dynamics that take place in fact I would say overwhelmingly take place but I would disagree with you slightly on the final of yacht in saying
for thus it dissipates I don't agree that it dissipates I agree that it has ambiguity but to me ambiguity is okay right I can handle ambiguity but I feel that yes if somebody was seeking just black and white and not gray then it may be a problem yeah and and you know my own suggestion if you ever get the time and because of this ambiguity because we have to recognize that there is nyantsen islam from the beginning whether it's the carrot whether it's the different school of thoughts the Kufa versus the medina and interesting just to give you a food for thought you'll see that the Kufa they tend to have more diverse
views and maybe it's because Kufa had a lot of the community is coming from different religious backgrounds and ethnic backgrounds right different parts of the world and that's why perhaps they have more diversity as compared to the arab medina this one's used to be and that's where perhaps if the arabs views can come into into i love by the way especially more so recently my life even arby's kind of understandings on certain things and i agree with you in the sense that we you know it's not the religion is not really a democracy it's not really as in sorry let me rephrase that
the the vertebra t the truthfulness of a narrative is not democratically determined so just because 90% of a people believe something doesn't necessarily make it true it may make it popular but it doesn't necessarily make it true so certain standardized versions of islam are not necessarily the most accurate ones just because they are the most widespread right just today the folkloric islam like going to graves and asking peeps aints
for help and doing all of this by and large is the most widespread version of islam throughout the globe but authentically we would academically understand that that is not the most accurate version of islam that's a folkloric it seems to have kind of just you know pin on the back of folklore and seems to spread so yeah but I think it's mean absolutely I do deeply appreciate the the kind of food for thought and the fact that you know having some intelligent discourse is every question I had but I guess there are other people waiting so personally I
apologize for to them that wait wish I could like ask you again but I don't know how to contact you are you an Instagram no I don't use Instagram are you you're not an Instagram okay I tell you what I don't know if you can send private messages here it should yeah but I'm also getting messages I can also see messages of other people who are waiting you send it says this a private chat function so I got how that works but for example some of the people saying all right al hamdulillah I'm not naming them yeah I mean no this one I can see it there's a tab on the side of this which says private chats and some people just
saying you know like asking if they can come in and they can do stuff but those are private I take you can you drop me your what is your whatsapp number on there or something or your but on a private chat not on or if you can't private chat you know wedding you email me so it's just Mufti Abu layth gmail.com you can receive normally and I mean it's just my name with the dot in the middle so cool and I will then we'll connect and let's get you on a mind trap insha'Allah discuss these kind of anthropological research and stuff you
died Abu layth that's it I was right again I'm sorry I'm taking her time it's OBU la y th cool calm you got it man take him I'm you doing it you
doing it salamualikum' first and foremost alaykum assalam how are you doing Muhammad I'm good I'm actually surprised because I've always on these these lives and stuff this is the first time I've ever actually been selected so many come but few are chosen yes yeah I mean I just wanted to kind of just you know thank you for you know everything that you're kind of just doing for this Ummah like wish I stumbled upon your videos I don't even know how I stumbled upon your videos but I just stumbled upon the one day I think it was probably I think was the eyeshadow of Yolo and half the age of
Aisha and it just makes so much sense to me because before I mean I I struggled with accepting a lot of the narratives in our faith and it was just hard for me to like I was basically on you know 5050 with Islam of like do I really believe in this or is it just something that I'm kind of you know forcing myself to believe but then after you know viewing your videos and stuff it really helped me you know understand and strongly accept you know what I and so I just wanted it thank you for that I appreciate it I mean it is good to you
see the these kind of issues really I feel that more and more people are now kind of you know they kind of opening up to them on hamdulillah you know kind of seeing reason what I would say seeing reason in these matters because it yeah it's it can be a very disturbing topic alternatively but Hum Dil um I'm really appreciate deeply your feedback and sugar and month for for your encouraging words you know I'm always thought I'm in Canada so the time difference whenever you do it alive the time difference is
always like is uh we're a bit early because you you're probably doing it around commitment almost yeah it's it's gone 140 here exactly yeah so I'm always on there the Monday nights I always spend my Monday nights you know two two-and-a-half hour just listening to you know whatever you have on there it's so beneficial I just have one question actually and that's kind of to do with you know motivating yourself to to read Sola so what's your advice on that because oftentimes I feel it's not that for me like when I when I
want to read Quran or when I want to you know read so like I have to I have to kind of be in the zone to do it or else if I'm not really there it's just robotic to me you know what I mean or even if I'm reading I'm just you know my mind is somewhere else what's a tip that you can give or some advice you know to keep that motivation and to keep that focus when we're doing acts of worship you know I I would say Mohammed you see things like Salah or the normal people and I put myself in
that right because I'm not this kind of like some kind of uh you know this super pious cast very easy in that sense kind of a person so I put myself when it comes to religiosity of that kind of worship as a normal person now this thing's like this I feel are difficult for everyone okay of this category and I put myself in the upper everybody normal people in that category but it is and you know even if it's not apparent it is
a kind of lifeline that you keeps you can it's like an umbilical umbilical cord that you've got that is kind of just providing this lifeline with with you know it's kind of linked to the Dean now it's different you see for if you are involved in other aspects of the team that may always kind of keep you flying high like if you are learning about Islam always you're always reading things you always you will always kind of be in the middle of in the thick of it so that kind of is
very helpful because your life Islam becomes an integral part it becomes the fabric of your life and I don't mean by Islam piety but I mean by Islam the de it becomes very important to you it's not something that you are you know it's it's meaningless or you only know it when it's Ramadan or things like this but that blessing of learning about the theme isn't something which normal people are usually so in the middle of like they're not they don't find themselves in that because they're not
normally always learning or reading or researching or developing their knowledge or things like this so to them this link this lifeline this kind of oxygen supply to the Dean even if they don't notice it but it is incredibly important it is to kind of keep that because what happens like let me tell you you see what happens with a lot of people they sometimes not sometimes they will at some point in life find themselves in certain predicaments yeah now they may feel that at that stage a
lot of these people may feel that you know part of maybe why my suffering or my anxiety or my whatever is maybe a lack of Iman a lack of faith now that is not the reason I don't feel that is the reason why they are in that predicament is because of a lack of a but people feel these you know this well you know faith is such an integral part of the human psyche I know you know atheists and you get sometimes atheists that will say Oh faith is you know it's irrelevant and it doesn't really you know look at
my life like I saw a tweet today of somebody was it today or yesterday of somebody an ex-muslim saying look I'm happy as an X most you know having got rid of Islam I can now have a fade haircut I thought well that's what I'm pretty sure most Muslims out but my point is that it's okay to celebrate for a little while that look you're free but after a while these things do there is a vacuum for this kind of connection with God with something greater than you and this keeps even if it's on grip feed but it
keeps that supply you know this is and I would say look if you struggle with Salah pray just the fara it if you struggle with the Ferrari pray them all together at just once you know if that's how you begin like you just pray for it before you go to sleep you pray them all all you maybe split them up in two different times of the day you may be prayed the day prays together at one point and then the night praise and then what will happen is over time you may be able to kind of like as you because everything comes down we are creatures of habit okay that you know this is saying in Arabic that kullu shay'in
either had a letter that everything is an are they it's a habit even a birder so then they may come a time where you kind of break them into three parts you've got the morning prayer you've got the night prayers together then you've got the two afternoon prayers but then maybe they'll come a time where you can't kind of separate them and pray them on their their own but I got into this guilt tripping I'm not into this I don't feel you need to pray from this angle of God is gonna burn you to hell and burn you to your core and you know it's not for me it's not like that I mean for other Muslims it may be like
that for me it's a sense of it's a sense of gratitude yeah you know like you kind of owe it like at that you know do you not know anything you know a sense of a little gratitude even if it's a lazy gratitude you know it's something it's a token of it's nothing great but it's something and this is how I understand this verse that you know or Markel Authority now we'll insert you know a lolly aptitude and this Lia boon this lamb except Allah and then Lia a balloon is not for you know people say this is so hotter
yabba-doo nee this is not that lamb of that they think al immortal eel this is the Lamb of the RT bear you know so it's it's as a consequence they worship Me you know I created them and consequently they then worship me yes yeah I really like that understanding of life it being you know an act of gratitude more so than you know you're going to be punished or whatnot I mean I used to pray you know hum do like I think when I first I guess reverted back to Islam a guy I used to pray like all of them on
time to hide you than everything but then I think it just takes it's hard to maintain that high level of you know email and like it's fun it's it's impossible to maintain that high level you know consistent Mir I think I just burn out don't beat yourself up on me it's normal you know something look Islam is a message of humanity of what touches the heart and it is meant to touch the hearts of others you know you know it's like what do you say Joe Bob Dylan aquel día Dilber a certainty but a paper Vaz McGurk
you know Allah Mike wall says that it it doesn't have wings but it flies that's the what comes from the heart now it's not you know sometimes you might do a good you might do something you might help in charity you might give in charity you might smile at someone you might say something kind you might these things are Islam you know what else are you seeking you know you're not going to it's not Islam doesn't have to be something right okay we lost him it doesn't have to be something which was all about doing thicker and immersing
yourself in in that right I think we lost you there for a moment but yes so I hope that helps Mohammed that did you know shokran and you know just keep doing what you do because I think it just it's helping so many people and I think your channel is just your channel is growing as well I think you know it's just amazing to have a voice like you on there I deeply appreciate it man so take care of yourself Mohammed stay sighs thank you very much all right people you doing it you know what we're not gonna go on too much longer let's get a few people on have a few little things a few little gupchup no
compulsion in Dean come on move team move on all right ready we're moving on I changed my username this person needs a slap to set him straight here I'll do it for you yeah Oh unless you meant something a bit kinky er but you know for that I'm gonna charge right we've got Abdullah one let's bring him on to the screen people I think I think this is my lucky day you know every day of your life be your
lucky okay first the first of all first of all assalamualaikum i'm calling from manchester so not very far from you yeah yeah I contacted you few months ago I think we were trying to I was just trying to come to beg if to have a meeting with you in person I mean different things but I think you are yeah and you still and you still can by the way just connect with if you're on social media connect with the Mohammed Shaaban probably and he'll set it up in shop yeah yeah yeah and but the thing is I mean obviously I've been watching all your lectures and your videos regularly
so I've got my most of the questions answered you know so don't need to but but but the few things I mean I think this thing which you have started today meeting up with people I think you should hold it I think you should hold it at least like I mean once a month or maybe I mean yeah I mean this is this is what you got it Abdullah yes it's gonna become inshallah regular alright yeah yeah yeah yeah I like it yeah I mean this is the first time ever I have been ever ever in my life have been live on that chatting with somebody you know so I mean usually I'm very active on Facebook you know and I follow you
everywhere especially on kicked off you know I joined tik-tok recently I put more stuff up they were waiting for right okay not the serious stuff yeah I mean mashallah yaar I think I was bit lost your luck I mean as many people have been explaining like having their problems understanding Islam or the religion I mean I think you have taken a lot of burden of me you know and I feel much more relaxed in a normal person and because we only
obviously have Allah we are Muslims and this a very big blessing that we already worship to Allah and but all these complications you know like I mean I don't want to go into them I just simple say I am just a normal human beings I just want to be a normal human beings I don't have any extremist views or anything and I mean if I find something like I mean like they say you know I mean if you want to learn religion or your faith or whatever you are following you got to find somebody and they'll start as la cabina star these or somebody I mean II or Imam or Alim or
whatever so I mean in this day and age I mean like where all the technology is available I think I'm lucky that I have found you and I'm learning a lot you know to be honest with you but absolutely no I it's it's an absolute honor I have to say and you know it's it's it's this this thing so many people are struggling with what is what I call institutionalized religion and institutionalized Islam yes kind of and because it doesn't have it doesn't resonate with what is natural you hear
more about like structure control control yeah yeah it's like a cult you know and they it's a very unfortunately it can be a very toxic a judgmental kind of atmosphere yeah and I feel that yeah I was you know how some people had said that I came on Malik said and many of the people that Imam Malik popularly said that look the last in the later times for this Omar yeah it will succeed by returning to what the first of this Omar was upon which was a natural theme
yeah free from institution how up so yeah man all power to you yeah and therefore the people you know like I've been obviously they are going through the same situation which I was in before because I I have listened to many scholars many many scholars you know but your way and your knowledge and the way you explain it things you know like I mean they're like I mean they seem bit more natural you know that's the way Islam should be I mean the way we were brought up you know like a ramp originally from Pakistan now be living
here for a long time now but those things were chipped into our minds you know which I cannot even believe now that how could I do that and how I was doing them you know and this is the I mean it's still happening there it's not there I mean I mean that in the subcontinent area as well you know like a bit in India Pakistan Bangladesh you know but they they have got most of the problems I don't know why or maybe they the people who were there Joe I mean who are responsible for actually teaching us you know they haven't understood Islam you know or maybe they are just I mean
too busy with their sex and with their they are unfortunately and I feel that this message of humanity which is what Islam is built upon you know this is Allah primarily in the Quran when he's addressing people he's addressing them yahoo and nasa people humanity this is in Sarnia this this whole thing when this theme returns to that that is what you know that that will be that that that's how it will free its kind the clutches of unfortunately some of the clergy and take it back to the public
you know there's that madhavi's lee a poet and he had his poem we he says curse a masjid he bought or cello you girl in casey wrote a Hui but J go haha and I feel that reads the essence of Islam that is that is what Islam really is should should be about you know just just just doing something and that that is the hadith of the Prophet that is the you know the whole thing about daughter well of there are and these kind of things and in Sania but yeah insha'Allah
I what is the then what is the problem with the people you know why don't the bike art they see it you know their how simple it is you read Quran you read the Mars you do good things you know you don't have to be like I mean I have seen people you know me they were normal people and as soon as they started going to the Masjid then say praying started praying and then all of a sudden they start wearing a puggly or our mama or or their dressing changes and they all of a sudden you know they are not a normal human beings they are very very very welcoming they become very rude you know sort of that I mean I don't know what
happens it's a shame but you know this a what this reveals you know Islam religion with a capital R and especially Islam because we're Muslims I mean addressing the Muslims it is a mirror to the person you know what they become after truly embracing Islam is really a mirror of their own personality if they become something just very judgmental and Toxie can be Oh today I'm mushrikun ball model and
Gumrah and Gustafson this is really themselves now why people don't see it because it's you see it's a problem isn't it because it's the it's they have to be critical of themselves that's difficult to cloak the bad attributes is its religion as a cloak is bulletproof yes because now the person says what are you talking about makeup god Carol you know I'm not saying it is saying it I am
the hand of God look here that means yeah yeah it's me you're gonna say yeah corner to corner you know who the hell like I'm gonna stay oh this ain't me mmm this is God I'm the voice video yeah yeah huge it's an immense amount of power yeah yeah and that's why unfortunately not all but you know so many atrocities I mean the other thing is you know when you talk to them or when you are in their company and when you meet up with them for some reason
every single thing is this is gonna this is Haram this is not this is not this is I mean the references and they are countless you know I mean you you just I mean you can't even you can't even breathe in front of them you know they said no or no is it should be like this it should be like that you know but in reality I haven't seen anybody practicing the way they preach you know I haven't seen I haven't met a single person it is true and I tell you that you know one of the things is you know
if you or if he's fellow now if you are on a you know I suppose you'll be difficult for dia WOM for the kind of public but as an other azzam of the as a scholar and other scholars and Imams you have a kind of behind the scenes like we we see what happens behind the scenes because even though now even now many ulama will connect with me they will but they just asked me not to kind of public sighs it not to say in public because they still skip you know they don't want to get into trouble
so you will see how people I will get to see how people are behind closed doors how Imams and leaders and and they are not very different to how I am yeah they they will speak like you know they will say things they will swear they will yeah you know talk about women they will crack jokes they will they will they're not very you know this uber uber pious image that you get and they're not look I'm not trying to say that is a true definition of piety to me that is not
piety anyway but this image of piety that you know we've got this being always saying yes alarm yes allow me allot the authority this is not to me Piper to me piety is being his humanity but okay but this image of piety that we have that they sometimes propagate from the member from the Munnabhai these people themselves are not like that behind closed doors most of out for the most part most of them I maybe one or two people might be but the majority they are just as you know they will watch movies they will watch he they
won't listen to music they may smoke weed many I don't smoke but if it smoke I would smoke in public yes well I I don't smoke but if I did I would have no problem lighting up in front of people but they will do that behind closed doors they will you know get involved in all these kind of things and and you see the problem I find it's not so much their their actions but it's why are you propagating you see because you as an imam are finding that difficult yeah I agree with you that's why I'm not this kind of pious wise person by your standards because it's not practical for
me but you no it's not practical because you can't live up to you why are you propagating it to a congregation to whom it's even less likely to be practical yeah big dopey we must admit a thing you know you still living and once you live here you're surrounded by or lamahieu and it's not practical for you what do you think of the average job blog Muslim yeah yeah it's no way near practical so he or she feels even more guilty you know because they into a hook man and they think yeah you know the worst
person is me I must be so sinful and and I don't like this guilt I find this a very kind of a Catholic kind of approach this J yeah Catholicism that we have of trying to make everybody feel guilty and then do good things as a kind of reparation to kind of like get rid of your guilt I'll donate because I'm yeah yeah now the other thing is the question is like I mean you are a Mufti obviously mashallah but the thing is when I am talking to somebody and I give your
reference like they'll spill their drinks ago I am listen I have sent your links to so many people I tried to share it on my Facebook you know but by God you know the kind of abuse I have got you know just by they I mean it's not only like I mean normal people but they're just like I mean some very very Leonard people you know like I've been they're very religious people you know
this and they have but why there is a so much difference of opinion is it your appearance or is it your that that I mean my appearance has a lot to do with life right now I'm obviously in this vest but to be fair I wasn't do too I've never used this software before yeah this and today when I sat down I have no plan on doing a Muftis meter what it was was I was sitting here had chef or marble or Chon yeah setting up we were gonna do a mind trap session tonight it was gonna be really interesting we were kind of catching up but for some reason the software kept playing up so it took me
about an hour I'm not really an IT kind of guy but I had to figure it out and I figured it out in the end and I by the time I got it ready he had some family thing come up no he had to kind of say look sorry let's try and see if we can do it tomorrow so I said yeah that's cool now that he'd gone off I had a lot of people on YouTube that were way there yes I waited I think they were saying look all of the ways I believe why is he late bla bla bla I thought you know what I thought let's get somebody on and then I thought you know what actually if I just get a just
anybody on a mind trap my trap is really meant to be about detailed conversations you know I just asked you know I was wondering that because I had seen some people do these how do you do this yes I was just asking and I was told that look actually it's very simple go to stream yard comm sign up and give it a go and I was sitting here in my vest I hadn't even really I was gonna get changed or I know once we went live I was gonna go get changed and come back but this just looked live and he started working so I'm sitting here so what people what my appearance is not really so friendly I mean he's friendly but
it's not no no no yes so people look at it and they think yard is seeking a little hood it's not make a but you know what what did you have done the way you have looked at it you know or you have perceived it or you have just practicing it I swear by Allah that the image of Islam would have been lot different especially in this country you know people would come like anything you know and they would say that yeah okay but unfortunately these people like I mean I I argue with sometimes with them
I said you are living in the United Kingdom I mean I'm sorry but I mean it may block I mean maybe hurtful to some people that I mean that you got to have a certain length of a beard you know and and mama or op agree or like I mean a certain dress you know and even if you are working in a in an English firm or I mean I mean they say that oh yeah that's the Sunnah yeah right I mean and I mean for every everything they do they've got an excuse you know but the thing is if he had if they if they had thought about
it that okay the appearance obviously it does matter I mean if you'd look like you don't you I mean I mean if you look so odd you know I'm not saying they're in a bad way but I mean shalwar can use this for Pakistan Pakistan this is my point and I have nothing against fees clothing I waste sure welcome me sometimes but my point is that this is not what Islam was about yes it was about the idea it was not about really but I get people don't like I mean they don't like my ideas they do feel threatened by me challenging a lot of
the things and they can't answer them but then my appearance obviously gives them an easy IBM s target so it's easier to kind of say look but just know now don't bother with him look at him so I get that but and people have said to me look mostly you should change your appearance to kind of help overcome but I should be honest with you just I I don't really care you know it's like you you you are doing mashallah you're doing such an excellent job and no one in this world can give you any reward inshallah on the day of judgment you will be
successful and you will be at the highest rank probably because this is the most difficult thing you know if you are bringing people back to Islam and if you are just like I mean but but I I don't the thing is I only believe in one thing that at least you are not telling lies you're not pretending you know you're not just saying you're not telling his stories you know you are talking just on the basis of the facts you know whatever you have learnt you know and whatever yeah me my point is that look people you know because we are judgmental mental unfortunate I'm a
human being I try to limit my being judgmental but I'm sure I'm still judgmental on so many things just as all human beings are I think that people who want to cut me off like that let's say fair enough like I I have no qualms and I feel that ticket you know Easter and so it's in a way it's very to me it's good because I feel that look at least you won't be able to say that look look how he is behind closed doors because I'm unlike this you know so TK I'm like this publicly so people would say yeah look at him he's like that publicly in fair
enough you like me you'd love me chello took me hey [ __ ] me but I know Nene but actually the thing is so if we follow this sunnah of the prophet prophet actually did the same thing he never argued with people he never he just conveyed his message people I mean if somebody took it well and good you know otherwise he never cursed them ie never issued any Fatima's on them or said that Oh God's wrath is gonna be like a been unleashed on you and this in that or gave them some bad examples of other nations you know the previous nations
from Quran he never did that today so I mean I mean we just wish we need to spread the message like about what is the actual messages which is obviously you said that I mean it's all about humanity we got to be good people you know we need to be good with other people and that that's it you know and they're sorry for taking that that long a few people's ask into kind I'm sorry yeah just give me one one one one more thing which I that is the very important I mean the issue which I have God knows
how many times I have listen to and played your clips again and again and again and still I feel that I mean my test is not quints you know like I mean I'm still I enjoyed them so much you know and that is unfortunately the issue of these colonies you know and if we meet up yet then I'll probably tell you why why I am so touchy about it that I have been asked somebody's put me in touch with like an academic Qadiani as well I think
from the Lahori group or something so I was going to at some point maybe in the coming accept my advice might buy the my advice to you is if you get engaged yourself or if you are planning to do that make sure either they are at a certain level of luck I mean are there a kind of a murabbi or or they have got the authorization to get engaged with yourself like I mean in in some sort of a dialogue you know because otherwise I mean there - yeah I mean I get and just
to be clear I've not hated I don't know I party assistors at hugging hey you know I did maybe no no no I did kind of troll them but that was in retaliation and I know it was offensive yeah my point was to say that look a lot of people have said to me about Quebec which the other Lane is the other day the other me you know one thing which you said to that guy who was trolling you from Canada on your word surfing I
mean the question which you asked him that what is the message yeah this was my what was the purpose what was the biggest new a new prophet I know the objective that was achieved I think I think they can habit for the next 100 years if they keep on debating they I mean and you are the first person that I have heard this argument you know from because before that either they get distracted by you Hazrat ISA or module or the gel or all these things but this was the the crux of the the biggest need
it wasn't obviously I don't believe in the second coming any but put that aside it wasn't about trying to prove it from the Kitab Osuna to me it was an objective issue that let's look at what was the purpose what does this show me some results like and I don't mean by all we converted a few people that's not you know God just wanted to make a new team it doesn't really make sense like they must have been a mission what was the mission so and there is no answer to that that because because all their missions have failed I have studies there most of his books
you know and and I've tried to understand that I mean why I mean by people like I mean when you talk to an MD Muslim which is I mean which I even don't agree with this that that they call themselves I have the Muslims which has got nothing to do with Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani whatever he was I mean if he was a kind of a like a pizza I wouldn't mind but the thing is they have taken taken him up to that status you know and I mean I feel that it's just something much I feel that it's really most of them are just born into it yeah
I it won't into it and then what happens is because there's an an attack against them an onslaught so it brings them together and then there's a solidarity a group solidarity and then that just reinforces the message the other thing is that it is true like dr. professor Meade fazil said to me that you see they preach a lot of them not all but I I'm sure a lot of them preach that normal Muslims are just nut cases and just look at their behavior because when they show normal Muslims speaking about them they usually very kill them burn them do this to that
and it sounds like Claudio these guys I'm not Casey there was actually saying to me one of the reasons why they he feels that they were trolling me and why they troll Hamid II sob he's because you see to their community that appears as a rational threat like that wait a minute you say Muslims don't use reason but these guys are using reason so that's why he was saying they troll you but they don't roll like let's say do bunnies or they don't because they know the answer is anyway with them yeah
right Otakon right though we'll be great so not me unmute my babies the divine sign
wasted years my thesis is untied no
children oh I change this to
a fry of right of Rui Rui Rui Rui when you get someone on a cool go on then yeah yeah rush it Adam we've got safe here waiting oh so it's so good to finally talk to you what's
going on sensitive so what's going down safe man what's going down thank you for providing it just being on YouTube and providing this new and fresh perspective it's it's so refreshing I really appreciate it yeah thank you very much I just have a few questions that will lead up to my question first do you believe deeply that God will punish and reward people for what they
do it didn't involve I feel that God can but does he have to is another question I don't think God has to do anything but exactly I think we don't really know what God will do you but we just hope the best of him okay so I hope that obviously I'm hopeful of salvation for people but obviously what God does a lot as mention in the Orang consequences for people if they disobey him if they
do things does he have to act out on these consequences he doesn't have to according to Allison beliefs so I'm in line with that I feel that Allah you know he says well my if Allah be either become you know it's not like allies to gain anything by punishing you the other thing is I feel that they what does punishing me may not be what people assume so I feel that the imagery used in the Quran is symbolic it's not literal I know many people feel it's literal I would feel it's symbolic it's not because that the teachings are that
you know nobody can really conceive what the earth it is about anyway so since you can't any also mentions in a hadith well I horribly badly by showing up you know you couldn't even conceive never even had an idea of it so well if you speak about things like let's say the fire and all these things you have had some idea of it so so in that sense what is punishment is it as some people have said like let's say even arabe if not rushed these kind of people have said that look maybe it's more about a kind of a proximity or a a distancing from allah
in the akhirah and it's more to do with the raw consciousness probably I mean but once again I would feel that the al-qaeda is something which really we have no we have as like we believe as Muslims in a certainty of of the continuity of life after death but what is the nature of that life I personally feel that I truly speaking wouldn't have any idea what the nature of that life is but except that I believe that it will some it will carry on it's this life
death is just a common awful stuff so yeah but if you're gonna ask me what do I think how do I think people will be punished how do I think they will be rewarded the truth is I don't know and I don't think we ought necessarily me to be fixated on that that's I suppose the difference between me and maybe some other people I think the problem is that philosophically I can come up with different answers of what God you know is what would be consistent with the idea of the good just merciful God would do but the problem is you know
what's different about Islam but what separates different religions is the message that they bring to people so for example in the Quran there are very clear ayat verses that say that you know God will punish the gathering by putting them in heaven for eternity and so on so the problem with me is that if that's if I just choose the Quran as the source of knowing what is going to happen later on then I have a problem reconciling that with certain Seifert of Allah like for example the you know just along being
just alone and the idea of punishment even if someone for example looked really hard and they came to the wrong conclusion I've already by the way I have a video on this that what if reason leads me away from God and I feel that if a person reasoned even if the nutiva the result was that they felt religion is wrong and Islam is wrong but they reasoned it wasn't as blind following they didn't just do you know they don't reject God like that but they actually use their faculties and they thought
about it and they weren't convinced and that in fact they ended up becoming convinced of the opposite then I would feel as and I've quoted ulema on this see you know people like al OB and these other people they quote bail are we stating that you know your jaw that the this kind of a person we hope from a Sunni perspective is has salvation like we we feel that that is then forgive because the person has tried their best I mean now you can little on us and in love ha ha if they tried and they felt that you know know this doesn't reach
LOM doesn't really add up it doesn't make sense you know hey it's they you know they they did there's a difference in a kind of stubborn rejection like a kind of you know like sometimes we have this struggle against God it's kind of like why has God done this to me you know like yeah you know this kind of like a nerd and that I feel is the coup for ku for the kind of jihad that is mentioned in the Quran it is not this kind of reasoning and trying to arrive at the truth it's this it's the opposite
it's blocking out truth despite it having come through so I agree with you I agree with but here there's another problems that for example someone who is Christian and that is genuinely convinced that Christianity is true would they also be go to heaven or when they go to hell and so the problem here becomes is that if I log on to say that they will go to heaven then what's the point of being a Muslim what's the point of converting people into Islam if just being convinced and being honest is good enough then what's the point are they just the rules the do's and don'ts no I would say the Islam isn't
about the do's and don'ts you see Islam came as a final reminder to connect bridge for Humanity a gap between the the kind of impersonal and the personal God and to kind of like bridge that gap and to break free people from the shackles of superstition this was the message of Islam now Islam did not come in my understanding to convert the whole world to Islam in fact the Quran actually says well osha era puka you know people if Allah wanted
people would have all believed but Allah did not commanded in that way he did not will it in that way but yes has even for people who do not accept Islam one thing they cannot deny as a kind of historical truth is that Islam has certainly sealed the deal on global faiths whether people like it or not the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was hartamanda being that he did
come and seal all global messages what whether people are pagan or whether they are whatever they are no global message was ever to take off again after Islam came and that is for people who like or dislike Islam a fact of history now why why Islam now that's a different question is Islam for you guys it's not you you but the universal you is it for you as a person maybe it isn't for some people maybe some people look at Islam and they think well known you know I'm gonna and maybe
they become convinced of their other maybe they've reason and they don't find they seem to see the truth in Christianity or they seem to see the truth in but are they not verses of the Quran that seem to suggest that there is salvation for them there are verses of the Quran that seemed to suggest that this salvation for I will get up and all these you know that wasabi inna and so on and all these yes and then people will say yes but then they clash with other verses that seem to suggest they want and I accept that that they seems to be this kind of clash but I would say that is it depends on the person reading how you see that you see to to some
people it may just be black and white but they see no well that came first and he got rid of these but did it come first that's another question because it doesn't seem that they actually came first that it would seem that those verses were later verses now I look historically people believed in religion for different reasons okay people are very like if you look at the Jewish people are a very good example on these because the Jewish people and before them as well people didn't at that time believed in religion for the afterlife they believe
in religion for this world because they felt that their success in this world depended on believing in God not in the earth this is why in Judaism in a huge part of Judaism fact in the majority of Judaism historically speaking there was no mention of the era you know and even though some old rabbis did believe in an Athena but and they said that there was some messages hero there but there was no mention in the in the Jewish Bible really speaking of an afterlife the Jews did not believe in an afterlife as as doctrine as clear doctoring maybe some
of them did I'm not saying none of them did but for the most part there was no mention of the Ajira yet they managed to embrace the faith you see because we seem to have this problem today that look and I get this is a problem that people say that this that oh but if I'm gonna be saved and he's gonna be saved then why should I be a Muslim fine hey but that problem is with you not with God you see because you are it's like that child that's throwing a tantrum and saying well you know huh well I'm only gonna do this if I only
get to do it I mean I mean that's fine but it's like you don't get that from your own hits it's written in the Quran in many verses that in Medina and the light is okay but I mean that verse to be fair in the thena and the light islam if we're gonna be objectively speaking I wouldn't say is a good example because Islam was not called Islam in the lifetime of the Prophet and that it was just it was the the believers movement wasn't it it was part of Iman Islam became I mean they understood Islam as submission they understood the word but this calling Islam Islam is something
that began much after the prophets lifetime it began in the lifetime Molly kept number one so internet the time it was revealed it's probably wasn't completely love to be code this but the point is do you think that Islam is I agree with you that there are other verses I would go with I mean that verse I feel is a bad example but I feel that other verses like saying you know this one verse is saying that you know we're you know like a stubborn now and all these kind of things that those you know in a latina kafir all those who disbelieve I like this and those who disbelieve but I would say look that was first of all there were a number of
things here this was primarily speaking about people first of all it was speaking when it says qu for what kind of Co for is it talking about okay is qu for just being a non-muslim I would argue that it isn't kufur is not necessarily just being a non Muslim that yes from the do Nui perspective because they're non Muslim we're going to categorize them as Co far but is that the kufur in the Koran like just as the word Islam in the Quran is not really Islam as we understand it today we understand Islam as the Dean to be called Islam but the Dean was not
necessarily called Islam in the Koran but this is a even though there's an overlap but it's not the same Islam today is an institutionalization of the Deen which is then called Islam now with a capital R like a capital I for Islam in the lifetime of the Prophet they wouldn't have you know they wouldn't have gone around saying by the way I'm a Muslim are you Muslim they wouldn't have used words like this they would have understood them but they won't have used it like this it was a much more natural understanding of Islam so similarly I do accept there are these verses in the Quran but I would say that these verses
had a particular audience and they had a particular meaning when it said Kufa they may have also been to you see religion Islam calling it Islam for our understanding faith it needs in order for it to work in this dunya for it to take off it needs a certain kind of competition now I would feel that these structures were all part of that there wasn't because the question you're asking is why is there this other Ness the a lahar you know Phil hyperbola Ronnie you know
yes my mother you know there is why is that this ilaha fill theta before honey and that is because human nature works like that human beings don't just all work in cooperation there is always you see competition excels human beings like nature is harsh for there to be for it to kind of thoughtful for there to be survival if you removed the kind of survival elements the harshness of nature ironically people wouldn't survive not just people creatures they
wouldn't survive it's it's a it's an irony it's counterintuitive so for example the the great mice experiment where they you know the the utopia the mice utopia that was created to provide mice with a heaven it was called was called universe 25 or something but when they created that utopia and they had perfect use perfect everything for mice but after so many generations when they they lost the will to survive and they the mother the the you know the mother my started eating their own young and they refused to mate and they refused to it was absolutely counterintuitive
people thought it would be a heaven but after so many generations it destroyed himself because creatures need for a will to survive they must be something that they are against and Allah knows that and there was this element and V for Allah her the other was represented in the Quran as well so I would say look these tears there's levels on how people view the Quran this you know for some people if that works for them alhamdulillah but there are higher tiers so this is like how even a root spoke of the Quran
and other people that look there are levels to this thing that to some people that they need that you know there's this other and and because they're aquaphor who are gonna get me dammed and they're gonna go to hell therefore hamdulillah I will remain a Muslim and I will worship Allah so long as I know that you know Allah hareem you know they will be you know what is it mostly arena ll Jaheim and this and that and as long as I know that I'm good and I will act out my faith and there's other people who to them this ambiguity is not a problem they can handle ambiguity and to them
they can see other meanings higher meanings in the Quran but if you know what I'm trying to say is that or an is for all of humanity's not just for philosophers and I get what I'm saying is more from a philosopher's perspective so I get the fact it may not resonate with everyone and I understand that but for them then is the rest is is the high table Ronnie you know it's the source of Quran are there for them they can take it with its literal reading with the actual fire is gonna burn and actual there's gonna be trees and shade and rivers of milk and honey and and that's fine and there's gonna be people they want to read it like that that's
absolutely I don't feel that you can't read that is how the Quran is read that's actually be a parent reading of the program so I I get that I just feel that these you know different aspects the people can take away different reading messages from the Quran so yeah but I hope that's been of some help I know we've was quite a few people so cool I said I don't know if that's been helpful you're probably you're probably thinking
Mahavira you know just put it under the you know under the category of Junoon phone but i appreciate you coming on safe don't be a fee I was Salam o aleikum right people you know what let's wrap this up man this has been absolutely some we've hit the two-hour mark I'll catch up with you guys next time it was a pleasure making your acquaintance most these meetups right so we'll take a look at these people country time will flag them up take very good care of
