We need to you know, work on compassion. It is something honestly, it's um Let's take a look, you know, I'll I'll wrap this up with just this that you take a look at the Hadith of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam in his mosque and this person comes in and just takes a leak right there.
I mean, just really, just unpack this Hadith. This incident. Just look at it. I mean, just let's take it apart. Somebody comes out and flashes his knob right there sitting there. He doesn't even say he's sitting, he just probably whether he cuz most of remember, just because the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam taught us to with the Izar on, the Prophet would uh crouch and and relieve himself and because it was less contaminating and it was, you know, there's less of a kind of flash, you
know, kind of like splashback and stuff like this. But it even in according to many of the methods, even in according to the Maliki fiqh Imam Malik's fatwa on there's no there's nothing wrong in Islam about a person standing up and urinating. I know that Hanafi method disagrees and that's their view, but the other methods like Imam Malik's method is not that and and and Imam Malik transmits from many, you know, people would do that.
They would stand up and urinate and the the real issue was simply about hygiene and getting it, you know, if it splashed back and stuff like this. So, Imam Malik has that fatwa in his Mudawwanah, you can read it. He says that there's, you know, there's nothing it's really just about cleanliness. It's not a halal haram issue like that. So, most likely the person just stood there and did it. But even, you know, if he but he comes right in front of the Prophet and he This is what the person's doing.
Look, he's just flashing himself. No sense of decency. That look how obscene that is. Just to to to do that right in front of people. Just take your your appendage out. Right? And then he doesn't stop there. He doesn't stop there. This is Look, this is the holy of the holies, if you like. This is a haram.
The Masjid al-Nabawi. Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And the according to the Maliki method, it is more virtuous than Mecca where the Prophet is buried in his mosque. According to I know that according to the other methods, Mecca is better, but according to Imam Malik and the Maliki method, and I'm Maliki, Medina is more virtuous than the Prophet's mosque.
It's the most virtuous place, more virtuous than Mecca and the Kaaba. That's the Maliki method. This person comes into here violates people's private space by just exposing himself. Doesn't stop there. Just pollutes it by just urinating in a masjid with people sitting there, the Prophet sitting there.
Look at Look at how offensive that is. Understandably so. I'd be I'd be so offended. I mean, that's that's Imagine a person just walking into your house and and just just Even if they just turned to Imagine somebody walked into your house for whatever reason, let's say they they they there was somebody who said came to give a delivery or anything, just walks in and even if they turn into a corner and just took a leak.
Imagine somebody comes up to your car and stands by the Let's say the tire even, just takes a leak. With you in the car. Like like imagine or by the door. Can you imagine? Now Now take it up, crank it up to the level that this is a masjid and it's not just any masjid, it is the most sacred masjid in Islam or the second most according to most Muslims.
It's amongst the most sacred land on earth. This is where where it is. Person comes and does this. It Look at the audacity. You're talking. Imagine you're talking. I can I walk in, I'm looking at you talking. And I just stand there and I just start urinating. The disrespect.
The There's blatant disrespect to the to the nth degree. This other infuriated, understandably so. Enraged. Wields our swords. They want to go for I mean, that's a bit much, but you can understand. This is what Just in an act of rage or with some people, okay, let's not let's Many of them probably wouldn't have had their swords with them in the masjid, but in a rage.
The Prophet stop stop. Stops all of them. Sit down. He's already urinating. Prophet said, "La taqtu'u alaihi bawlatahu." Don't don't don't Don't Don't make him because Don't make him Don't interrupt his The guy is urinating. You know, if you somebody's urinating and you're trying to force them to stop.
It could arguably, people say that it's not healthy for the bladder to to do that. You know, this person is doing all of this and the Prophet is concerned about him. He's concerned that it's it's going to harm him. The guy, you know, it could harm him. You know, he's already been Damage is done now.
Now, whether he urinates a bit more or you know, he he does I don't know, 250 mil more or he does 200 100 mil less. Well, he's already done most of it. So, just you know, he might get some harm. Let him Let him be. He finishes.
He gets up arrogantly. Oh. Nothing. He's like blasé. What's the common sense thing? Imagine somebody came I I said you were urinating. First thing a person would do if they didn't completely blow into a rage and destroy the person, it would be to say, "Well, you better clean that." You better clean that now.
This is how understandably so. Understandably. What does the Prophet do? What does the Hadith say? This is in the Sahih. I Who A man ata Who brought? The Prophet brought. He brought the nuban min ma. A bucket with water. The Prophet went and brought it.
Himself he poured it over it. Himself. Cleaning the next This guy, this insolent, arrogant, stubborn, obscene, disrespectful, belligerent person who walked into the mosque and did this, the Prophet is cleaning after him urinating, after him going to the toilet, relieving himself.
And then the Prophet And this guy's standing there looking at it and just walking away. And the Prophet just says to him He says, "This is a masjid." He says, "Innahu la yasluhu li mithli hadha." He says, "It's not befitting really for a place of worship to do things like this."
The person is so shocked that cuz he could see the people fire in the eyes of the people around and the Prophet's told him off. And he doesn't even reprimand doesn't even rebuke. That's like the person coming into your house doing it. You don't even say, "What the hell are you doing?" You don't even You go and you clean it up after them. You get disinfectant and you start cleaning. And you smile. Honestly, this I'm telling you, this
This is why the message spread. It didn't spread because, you know, people think it spread because, oh, the Prophet was a politician, the Prophet was a statesman, the Prophet set up, you know, he he's he set up a state, he set up things like this. This is why the message spread. It spread because of that character. That rahmatan lil alamin. That, you know, just let it be, you know, like oh, it's cool.
It doesn't mean Look, it doesn't mean that the Prophet never used to get hurt. He did. People's actions would offend him. But there's a way that we respond. People, it's getting late. Emotional kar diya, ya Allah. You guys make me Let's wrap this up. You know what? It's been awesome. Um May And bless you all.
