question is do i need to follow a particular calendar forar now chosen this question because as you can imagine it is just too relevant it has so perh consequences least people and con people through the enti country so just like to respond that what's led to this problem is that we have many calendars throughout the uk that are being issued by local m where the time is varying quite drastically so you will have some calar state something
like begin the fast as as in eating for the fast end at i don't know something like 108 in the morning to some calendars maybe stretching it to something like half th or something slightly beyond that or some so you've got a huge variation we also we also know that sunrise is right now perhaps about qu to f approximately i mean depends where you are with in the uk 4:45 amm approximately so there is a huge gap here you can see
that well you know if you beginning on this end of spectrum begin your fast at let's say 108 or 101 in the morning then you've got up until let's 4:45 to pray your f and then on this hand you've got a much shorter time fr so this has led to a lot of confusion people are asking up and the country what should we be doing some people are stressing that you should be this is the time for the fast and if you don't then your fast has been violated other people are saying no it's okay some people are basing this back on
the degrees of depression of the sun below the horizon in terms of should it be 15 dees 18° right okay so let's kind of break this down first of all i want to just clarify my response by saying that it does not matter whichever calendar you follow ok if you choose to follow one that says three something that is absolutely fine if you choose to follow one that says one something that is absolutely fine it is your choice there is no compulsion and there is no real blame upon you and people can try to use a guilt trip by trying to say that oh
you're playing with the de or you're turning this into a joke you are most certainly not this into a joke this is anything a joke you are fasting lengthy day one of the most longest lest days for fasting throughout the entire world you are anything but treating this as a joke so please we should not really engage in this type of discourse where people are throwing these type of accusations as to what is actually going on here so let me explain we got quite a
few things going on first of all within the uk we are going through the period of the year which some people refer to the twilight peri where you have this persistent glow this light in the horizon just does not disappear so normally let me just to simplify matters that when the suns me kicks in you would have a light in the horizon now that will kind turn from say glowing red to i mean so you have like it go through colors like from a red to orange yellow kind of fade into
a white horizon eventually and then usually the white horizon would also disappear and then there would just be a darkness and then that would continue throughout the night until fer kicks in and you see this white white type of light appear in the horizon again and then it would just spread and it would be fer time and then it would just get brighter and and so on until sunrise now that would be a standard um type of cycle what happens during a particular time of the year for a few months couple of months or and definitely for several weeks within the uk is that the the horizon does not actually disappear so the whiteness definitely doesn't
disappear and according to some places maybe the redness and so on that to remains as well but the whiteness definitely does not disappear into a complete dark black horizon now first alling for and that can be estimated more important brings about problem for when actually because if we can see when this white new whs what point would we decide that has actually beg so as you can imag
people taken many approaches and some say [موسيقى] come in and we are actually this right now people we will estimate time to come in some will will [موسيقى] will we will
every half hour this time before sunrise other people may say that we could go by the nearest type of country where there is a normal or standardized time available and what some people have done is they have said let's just take the entire night with split in half midle first half allocate for second half allocate for and this kind also brings us to what going on now in terms of saying well okay begins at one something in the midle of the night so this kind of l as you can see this is
complicated for but becomes even more dynamic with element of fasting because now people are more concern because al unfortunately people doct with their manys fasting and that's and some people also add the elements of the degrees of depression that historically muslim scientists and musl schar who scien as well they kind measured in the scale how
degrees is the sun below the horizon for the light to kind kick in some people said was 18 and meed in vars of world they was 18 and some was 15 and i know there are many conducted their own stud i know some conducted stud to found the decre of depr to be anything between perh 12 to 14 and and here people taken st some people said be people said f but they lived
particular part of the world wasn't so far north in the hemisphere and therefore they had a variation and so i would say look you do not need to get to concerned about the degrees of depression below the horizon it's okay for you as an individual to follow any calendar that makes life um feasible makes much more easier for you حديث مفق عليس ولا
