There'd been a question that whilst I'm sharing this journey, these expressions, that is there a solution? Is there a way to fix this grief? Why don't I suggest some of that?
The truth is there is no quick fix. There is no sudden, immediate solution to grief. It is a journey and a process that one must undertake. That is its solution. And one of the best ways to undertake this journey is by coming together with this patience, what to also be sober.
That come together, just be there. Right from the very beginning, if possible, as the Hadith teaches us that in the masabaru in the sad matil ula, that with the first crash of the tragedy and trauma, that's when patience must kick in.
But then collectively, just being there. But the journey which one experiences often in waves, it is a journey, it is a process. And the best of examples we see in the prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam. There's a Hadith in Bukhari that when his son passed away, the prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam was weeping.
And I believe it was Abdur Rahman ibn Auf who says to him, "What anti ya Rasul Allah?" And you, ya Rasul Allah? The prophet says, "Indeed, inna rahima is a mercy." He said, "Wal ain tadma. The eye weeps. Wal qalb yahzan. And the heart is saddened.
Wa lan naqul illa ma yarda rabbuna. Yet, we submit to the will of Allah. Wa inna ala firaqi Ibrahim lamahzun. Yeah, tell Ibrahim, that was the prophet's son his son's name. That with your departure, we are deeply grieving.
That this is a natural process. Allow it to take its time, but one of the the best things to remember is in spite of what you feel, you are not alone. That there are other people out there with you.
And my advice to anybody who knows somebody going through something, that be there for them. Be there without ask, without request. Just take the initiative, because it can feel incredibly lonely, incredibly lonely. And that's why Allah says, "Wa tawassau bis sabr.
Wa rabitu." That pull together in this time. May Allah make things easy for each and all. I look forward to sharing some more thoughts. Wa salam alaykum wa hud hafiz.
