are not Haram accordant of Curitiba couldn't find anything on the Internet who is this let me just see baitul seasick iCal in fatal seasick what part of the internet have you looked on have you exhausted the entire internet and still not found it yes [Laughter] right so let's get to this person's question first of all and then then I will you guys need to watch this this
clip called it's about it's called it's about being wise on the Internet's it's called snakes have legs a man snakes have legs whoa do they yeah oh I read that on the Internet oh I better go tell everybody mine yeah you do that so funny right so you're not allowed to bet on you're not allowed to bet in Islam that's betting is Haram gambling is Haram if we go back to the bigger question right so now the
question the point is why is gambling Haram I think that's quite manifest the harms if you look at the addictions gambling addictions the harms it brings along and the kind of damage it has done on a sociological perspective it becomes very evident so I think it doesn't really require it really doesn't require much explanation I'm betting it's just an aspect of that it's a lower-level aspect I mean it's at the you could say well this is just a harmless bet but I think the main prohibition in Islam
comes from gambling as a whole and it's kind of closing the low-end gambling just as a as a medium to to the greater end the damage on you know that's done on on that end of the spectrum so if that makes sense some people have asked will I be responding to Tommy Robinson some people those of you just joining in like share the link share the live feed in shambhala and post your questions below and i will try to get to them right now
you see that there are some aspects of what Tommy Robinson has raised which I will be answering and shot a lot things like him and other people have raised them in the recent months people like Majid Nawaz has also raised the issue of the heating verse and how these verses ought to be condemned in the Quran so I will be responding to that so so that's something inshallah I will be doing hopefully soon I keep saying that but we were just discussing this again last night so Charla that's something coming
along so just hang in there as to generally taking him up on his campaign the the thing about him is he's not really somebody that dialogic Lee to be engaged because all he is is he's just somebody very rude and impulsive and he's not really there to debate if that's if that makes sense it's it's like basically it doesn't matter what you have to say if you hear him on any of these discussions he's not actually having a discussion it's just a monologue so he just sits there and just goes on non-stop just saying Muslims of these Muslims of that they bigots there
you know this so on so on the Prophet was like this bla bla bla bla bla they all pedophiles they like this they like that and they terrorists they need to be done and then it doesn't matter what you have to you can see even non-muslims debating him even the time with Piers Morgan I mean the whole thing is that it doesn't matter who he debates or discusses with he doesn't care about and he's just slamming the Quran and just waving it around and and you can imagine that is with non-muslims with Muslims he's even more vile so as to when you say engage him what's important is engaging some of
the points that may be worth addressing so he's raised this point he's raised this point of like the hitting you know that Muslims condoning domestic violence and that point has been raised and shockingly even by some Muslims like people from the Quilliam foundation like Majid Nawaz saying that that ought to be condemned in the Quran and I find that a horrid statement and to shed light on first of all the ruling does not apply but what is the context reverse and why
it is in it is it is it is improper to ask people to condemn it because it's part of the it's part of the Quran in essence but to shed light on that in some inshallah I will be doing that so that because that I think is worth addressing okay so I hope that clarifies the question somebody said they were really surprised to hear me say Haram [Laughter] commands kathiria those of you just tuning in people share the live feed and post your questions below let me get to
them in sha allah okay right now about making something Haram you know this this is scholar local scholar from from Birmingham who I respect and is from India and the ice is melted the ice that I put in I put this massive ice block in there and it's all melting now Bash is in the house people all right our standby awesome defense solicitor is right there so if you need any if you fear in any legal issues that's your man right there but I used
to work with this with this Scotland mashallah a great great person and this one time he said we were talking about something and we're having a conversation this is many years and I can't remember what ruling I was explaining and he said he said most eSAB could store haram keys here till today that that sentence cracks meal he said
at least let something be Haram well so so that's the so there you go gambling is Haram hello gusto Haram kardea at least people can feel mostly what role did Muslims playing World War two
what role did Muslims playing World War two do you mean I'm not sure what that if that means that the way the troops contributed so to the French army and to the British Army and things like that if that's your question I mean I'm aware that they played a significant role but for greater details there is from Birmingham Jehan Mahmoud who is a mutual friend on Facebook I mean sorry he's a friend of mine on Facebook presume I'm not sure if the person asking is a mutual friend with him but he's somebody that you can
definitely that you can shall reach out to and he is a specialist on things like the Muslim contribution the history of Muslim contribution to the world wars so I think rather than me trying to just give my my ill-informed perspective I think maybe somebody like Jahan you can reach out to will give a more learning perspective on that okay I forgot what Haram means I know I shall I mean her saying it's something which I heard my
forefathers used to say this word Aram vaguely I recall my forefathers used to use that word right so people right let's get to mullah a-wastin mozzies question I'm being asked so many times by has shamrock right those of you who've just joined Toki Toki is that you people imam talks is in the house Toki Imam Toki is an imam from America I
believe a current Imam I could be wrong in one of the largest mosques in the United States I think if unless I'm wrong and we did also spend some time as colleagues studying in Pakistan together so animus on an imam talks doing it doing it right so people if you're in America you need to reach out to an imam that's your your man right there in Charlotte right so will not waste time Ozzy's question I'm being asked this so many times I've forgotten the question now right let me
try and find it right mullah stated that an Islamic principle one does not rebel against one's leader it is considered cool fought and a major sin does it mean he becomes a kaffir right sorry Imam just to say Toki shot that's Imam Toki if Toki sorry the the talks is that's sorry that's just a friendly term name we've to user please do not refer to Imam sub as hey mom talks my apologies Toki Sahib
Sam if knee right so write this question it means Lucifer yes right Lal when you're an imam it means Lucifer our Lord what we've got no idea people do not be trolling me you're gonna get blocked and those of you just tuned in shall la share the live feed click that share button get it out there in sha allah and post your questions below let me come to them right now Wehling against rebelling against or
creating an insurgency or an uprising in a state this within Islam is generally deemed haram why is it deemed haram some scholars have gone to the extent to latest scholars so to deem it as Kufa now the early scholars didn't necessarily say it was Khufu so people like people like Imam Malik didn't deem this coup for per se neither did Imam Abu Hanifa but later scholars as theology started to get more as that
started to get as theology started to get more and more creed regulated and put together as part I mean maybe as part of the institutionalization process that that happened as well to Islam like other religions then part of that this was included as creed to say that Oh to rebel is disbelief I don't think it's disbelief but it is haram when Imam Malik was asked about an uprising against the state he condemned it and he said he said that it is that it was Haram because it leads to bloodshed and
it leads to civil war and there's very little little good that comes from it now you see in his time when the Abbasids rebelled against the Ottomans I'm sorry against the Umayyads Ottomans against the Umayyads and they did successfully overthrow them but when Imam Malik was asked he said that home let them be that letter vol he said let it transgressor let Allah replace the transgressor with the transgressor like we don't get involved and this was the
stance of the great seller and the great Imams / Amma they were not political and the politics of Islamic history you see that a lot of it never really ever had anything to do with the scholars it was usually just political tribes that were just kind of rivaling one another and they were taking over well sadly our scene is in the house along Sandlin right so Mike my response is that it is haram but it is not cool far okay it is not disbelief maybe the reason why some of the the ala ma of Creed and theology placed it as Co
for is they associated it with groups like the Hawara CH mo who were extremist groups that were obsessed with things like political ideology and rulership a bit like what you have today you see the Arab Spring is a good example as well you see it's difficult because I do appreciate that people in those circumstances they want change but seldom does that change bring about good because we are living in very intricate kind of times times and I think change does need to come about but how I you
know the military way just doesn't seem to work as like a military coup seldom seems to work and and places like Syria are a devastating example and you know something that for years and years and and I have to say I kind of almost beat myself you know with you know many years back I studied in I was blessed to be in Damascus in the late 90s when many people had set off on the road to
Damascus to seek sacred knowledge people those of you just tuning in likely to share the live feed in shall lock click share and post your questions below okay now I was there many of the the great whole amount of the West were actually there at the time though people like you mom's age shocked here was there many people that had set off to - the road to Damascus were actually there at that time and this is in the late 90s many many how many people from the UK you had people like share half of Islam
share south of chamois and other people they all had all kind of been there at a similar time now is he I was kind of really disappointed a bit with the whole there's a verb there was a very kind of 1984 you know that the an Orwellian kind of culture in Damascus at the time where where that the government had this kind of control and his grip on people there was a conscription mandatory conscription and everybody had to
partake in the army obviously not us not foreigners but we would we would see that and and there was there was a military presence here and there and and people were always scared to speak their mind and everywhere they had to praise half a little Assad everywhere and I found it kind of shocking that this and and I thought to myself I mean I was young now in this old age when I reflect [Laughter]
that what does the Halep say more dollars Amman in a Asadullah Han to me Volvo Lake ah-ha-ha Giovanni kita gay that's that this the rage old age has got to us where is that where is that vigor where is that strength gone Holly Basques so the thing is that in my youth so I remember thinking that what is
wrong with the people why wouldn't they just why don't they just rise against the state and just you know freedom at the end of the day freedom freida huh right and I thought why don't they just rise against the state and just put an end to this damn misery and I remember thinking that and I remember thinking because obviously of a Pakistani heritage and I remember thinking that and I'd visited Pakistan on many occasions that look in places like Pakistan they don't put up with this kind of oppression from the state
and why don't they what's wrong with these people are they you don't know remember thinking that are they you know we thought they'd not like real men but I was wrong with them and it's an in a way it's in this is in the late 90s of 97 98 that kind of time 99 that kind of time and I have to say that in in the many you know what time and what fate showed me it's almost I mean it's it's shocking it's like it kind of answered
that question to me which I asked and I I just have to hang my head low embarrassed what I kind of presumably wished I guess not that not that I had anything to do with it but it's it's you know you just have to hang your head low in shame and you've got to think that you see this is how and I this is how I thought at one point that why don't people just rise up but it does it has
no hair in it it has no goodness in it this nothing but really just bloodshed you know tyranny mass oppression civil war it brings no goodness it brings no goodness I know and I think at the time I you know I kind of marveled over the words of Imam Malik that why would he not encourage this but in time it shows that they had wisdom to them these people these Imams
really did understand a great amount so so I guess ya salam but in a way the reason i I kind of shared that is that I understand when people ask these questions that you know many years ago I suppose I asked them to but I asked them actually having lived in that place and as and I kind of feel in a in a in an ironic way that maybe as an irony no I don't know what or the sarcasm of the universe that he kind of showed it to me
and gave me an answer for what I asked and I didn't like what I saw so you know may Allah ease up the suffering of these people right so anyway so dark the dark subject it's a dark subject right let's get back let's get back to some of these people those of you that have just tuned in like share the live feed in shallow and post your questions below I'll I'll get to them yeah yeah emotional Kathy you
guys are turning me all emotional let's get to these questions right so crypto currencies shall we take this question right so crypto currencies Bitcoin etc they halal Haram I think in my understanding that it's these things are not Haram but like anything be wise I mean take a look at it I mean I haven't
really ever purchased any kind of crypto currencies or Bitcoin or anything and I haven't looked into them from that perspective but I don't think they harm from an Islamic perspective I think you just need to be wise okay that's all when you go about these things to just be wise about them that's all in Charlotte right somebody said why don't you write a book and I saw Ali said you should call it my beef with y'all right up the magic is in the house before our
IT tech much check out that question what's going wrong with my phone man help me out what's that mean she'll all right Ricardo bienvenidos those of you just logging in share the live feed and post your questions right let's can a an authentic hadith be rejected based on irrationality yes of course it can of course it can a hadith ignore Josie highlights that the three conditions he highlights that it does not and the
first one he actually puts is that Larry Halle film are cool it does not go against the intellect okay and so that's important or allow you not able to land it doesn't go against the established principles of Islam it doesn't kind of like contradict or clash with them either and and it doesn't also with with what we have Almond cool he says it doesn't kind of it doesn't contradict things like the Quran and stuff like that either okay so just to clarify yes a hadith can
be rejected by irrationality and as you can see we've we've been sharing some Q&A where right we've been sharing us in my mood said you look like ultimate worry I wish I look ultimate warrior was my hero as a kid I used to have his posters massive posters in my bedroom ultimate warrior he was my hero man WrestleMania 6 was the ultimate I just have all the little kind of warrior kind of I don't know statue figurines and all those kind of
things man but anyway let's get back to to this I've been sharing some some Q&A which from a course that we did with with chef Akram Nedley one of the senior scholars an amazing scholar now so there's been some interesting kind of clips about are you allowed to follow opinions that are may be deemed rear or minority opinions and things like that secondly I've the the second clip was on
do arm is there such an obligation in Islam to establish a caliphate so if you haven't checked those out do check them out like them share them get them out there people because there's a lot of unnecessary guilt-tripping going on and I will also respond to this being some points raised about that ok so some more quotes there about ultimate warrior return to Wrestlemania those see when I was young I was Welling to WWF back in the days and I was a major fan of people
like warrior and there was just this is like so long ago this must be like I don't know is it 1991 1992 the early 90s and going up to like 95 those those days that was the highlight of my miserable childhood just wrestling why King wrestling but uh yeah so let's come back to some of these right so I shared these questions in that course I want to in light of this question as well chef Akram Nedley does highlight that look several a hadith and we will be
releasing that as it gets edited about the that are to do with the Prophet having magic done unto him or rejected and part of that is part of that is to do with the clashing with reason right so so and and and he gives another example in the there is a hadith in sahih al-bukhari which states that Adam Ali salon was sixty cubits kind of arm length tool and and then mankind has ever since been kind of like shrinking
and that's inside body and that's nonsensical right that is not how mankind have not been shrinking like that okay it does not work like we've got hominins and you know pre Homo Sapien we you can take it right back to even to Australopithecus or home Afrikaner so if you want to I don't know which ever you whether it's heidelbergensis or whether it's Neanderthals or aghast homo erectus or you know all of these kind of different things there's some fluctuation in size
sometimes some maybe I don't know they you know they may be several inches shorter or some may be slightly taller but they've not been massive the discrepancy the standard deviation the standard look at that the standard deviation the standard deviation is not that out okay so just to kind of clarify yes you know you could say like Homo habilis was shorter maybe you know a foot shorter and so on and maybe a foot and a half but they're not
massively that the standard very you know deviation is not that massive okay in general okay so just to clarify and so that's not true and and censure I don't know do we actually highlights that that hadith is rejected because it clashes with our general knowledge and reason okay and and it's also worth highlighting on that point as well this is the same thing many all amount of the past said about that hadith including chef of a worker even a for ik who was a major scholar of theologian from almost over a thousand years ago and he places
that in his book called mush kill will hadith the problematic a hadith that we have right so in that sense not size doesn't matter I'm afraid in that sense those of you that have just loved in people I'd like you to share the live feed in Shama and post your questions I'll get to them alright anybody still going on about the reverse camera get a life please god damn it right during the early earth plants and animals are super sized yes after Salam but hominins
were not the early Earth didn't have first of all it didn't have the great apes and this kind of mammals on thee so I don't know what if you're talking about from the times of the dinosaurs you didn't have humans running around in the time anyway so coming back to to these right so I've put this video out there just I will respond to some points that have been raised some people have I mean some people have loved the video handily lights really come as a breath
of fresh air for some people that Islam is not a democratic process that truth is not democratic and so I'd like to just expand on this first point very quickly and that is that in following opinions that are minority opinions you see you have to understand in essence what is it that you're asking in essence you are asking that is truth Democratic that if a majority of people start following something does it make it true and of course it doesn't so the majority of the people that follow
something does not deem that does not equate to its strength in objectivity right Michael Marla is in the house people Mike Allen and Michael why do you click share on that live feed get it out to your thousands and thousands of followers those of you that have just tuned in share the live feed people get it out the insha'Allah right so truth is not a democratic process just to kind of clarify that okay so if ten people believe one thing and one person believe something just because the attending does not make it
more true you have to have other methods of Valley validating something now can verifying something right so that's just to clarify that so when people say oh but the mmm but because so-and-so and I had and what's shocking is I had certain people who were who are Salafi for example criticizing my app in my fatwa because they're saying how can he say you can't you can follow opinions which are minority opinions well I don't want to breath I don't want to burst your bubble but the Salafi movement is a
minority movement the Salafi belief is a minority belief so if you're okay with following your own beliefs which are an absolute minority through our Islamic history and your movement didn't even exist so everybody historically followed the school of law and you feel it's okay not to follow a school of law that in itself is a minority opinion so I just want to say it's interesting that people it's okay when it's there it's okay when it's the kind of minority opinion so my point is that look nobody has a monopoly on truth okay and
have to understand that Islam through the ages just like any religion has undergone an institutionalized institutionalization process so there's a lot of control mechanisms involved in controlling and people out there so that is important to understand okay so you cannot undermine that ruling oh sorry this observation this is why I emphasize things like a discursive psychological approach or discourse analysis in kind of looking at things and and an example I often give is like saying that imagine you can take a TV series of your choice
so you can take something like Game of Thrones or you could take something like suits or you could take something like house of cards or anything that you watch T along learn body Kollek is in the house people Cheryl calm Cheryl calm right there right so you could take any TV series you like and imagine but it has to be a lengthy one so it's got several series to his seasons to it now if you up the sitar shokran much love right back at you right so if you take any TV series and imagine you've got to
make a trailer but the trailer can only be 30 seconds long and you've got to make a trailer now you can take something like Game of Thrones or you could take something like house of cards or you could take something like suits or you could take anything is something like Dexter or whatever and you could make it look like anything you could make it look like a comedy you could make it look like a drama you could make it look like a thriller you could make it look like a kind of romantic series you could make it look like you could make it look like a murder mystery I
mean you could take any like if all you had to do like you have to take the entire seasons the series and just make a trailer for 30 seconds you can taint it through any genre that you like and that's what's happened with religion so imagine now you made a a trailer where you made suits or Game of Thrones or whatever series look like a comedy and somebody else made it look like a drama and somebody else made it look like a thriller now imagine you all put
out your kind of trailers but one of them gains more popularity so more people start replicating that trailer so before you know it let's say a few hundred years down the line everybody sees this trailer as a murder mystery and the trailer of it being a comedy has kind of been drowned out through a standardization process so that's what happens with religion it's the same thing that people present a prote like
they present their trailer of what they feel Islam is then other people kind of mirror this trailer and the more that the one that kind of gets gets more out they the question here is how does it get more out there's a different question that has usually things to do with power structures sociological influences politics dynamics things like this have a lot to do with which trailer if you like gets standardized so now people it's got to a point where people now have only one trailer of that series or of religion and they've forgotten
about the other trailers so this is why it's important to kind of and you could do the same thing with Monday nights with Mufti you could take some trailers where I'm just laughing my head off take them some trailers where I'm very serious take somewhere and it would look the same it would be exactly the same you could portray me as anything right although portraying me negatively will be much easier right so now that's so that's to answer that point I want to take it to a second the a second part those of you that are just
joining in right Adam asylum become welcome Bly cute if you can share the live feed get it out there let others benefit in sha Allah and post your questions below I'll get to them in Charlotte okay now the second question that we posted was to do with does Islam require a Caliphate and this has naturally had a huge reaction from people many people have loved it al hamdulillah the risk the response was no Islam does not mandate any such thing Islam does not ask for a Caliphate and this is a misunderstanding
now some people did get you I think generally there's there's a group that many of you have heard of HT is both a halide they are part of a neo kind of extremist kind of organization generally nonviolent although they do encourage any means necessary in Muslim lands so which necessitates violence but in Muslim lands not in non-muslim lands now they were obviously very offended and I think some may be people who have been influenced by them so these things so
people have raised some questions and just very quickly just shedding some light on them that people have said yes but so just one point raised was that there's been Islamic texts in the past that have mentioned the necessity of a avec ave caliph having a halifa okay now I want to highlight the first of all this was a Q&A was not an entire session that we did dedicated to this so for greater knowledge on this I would like to refer you to a course that chef
Akram has done dedicated to state power and Islam and it is available online I will at some point post a link for it and also a lecture done by will star the Jonathan Brown on the the me of the universal Islamic state so I'd like to refer you to that that's already being done with great detail but I want to just highlight that this went in historical sources wherever something was mentioned about about having we must
have a ruler this is the the thing about what this was talking about was as opposed to anarchy it was not talking about as opposed to different forms of governance so in the past yes many books said that we must have a Calif we must have a ruler that's because that's how the whole world ruled it would with rulers it didn't have like a democratic process in general it didn't have governments like this these are modern notions so they would write for in accordance with a day in age so they say as a and you can understand this by
reading their introductory paragraphs where they say why must we have a ruler because they say otherwise they will be lawlessness there will be loss of human rights there will be loss of trade they will be lost so read into the why we must have and that answers the question it answers the question because we must protect human rights and we must protect rights so to do that we must have rule as opposed to anarchy not as opposed to democracy or nation-states or these things didn't exist so just to clarify
that okay another point that was raised was somebody said that well scholars in Islam are not they don't have training on political understandings and political awareness and therefore they should stick to just teaching fifth and stuff like this and leave this kind of stuff to to me Oh political groups modernist groups like you know political groups that are that educated in politics right that is
absurd that is absolutely absurd okay why okay because we are not discussing politics we are discussing what Islam has to say about them so we're not discussing you know it's like saying well oh you could say well Scala SH and talk about DNA okay but we're not talking about science or we're not talking about politics as a science because people who do find people who specialized in politics can speak about politics we're speaking about does Islam
mandate this so you've got some people who've never really ever studied in an Islamic institution they have no true Islamic training they've never been authorized or licensed with a chain of tradition to teach Islam they've never studied the Islamic Sciences comprehensively no not even they haven't even studied all of them at a foundation level let alone an intermediate or an advanced level do we take their understanding of what Islam is teaching or do we take what the scholars have to say of course we take what the scholars have to say so that is
an absurd statement really and it's very it's kind of very denigrating in essence to say well scholars don't know about politics Asian get involved know the scholars are telling people that Islam does not is not a political ideology the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he passed away he could have left a methodology to follow but he didn't he could have said this is how I want you to rule but he didn't he knew that there would be disagreements but he didn't why didn't he instruct because if he did
instruct people would have understood that to be the only way to govern so that's why the Prophet Lefty knowing that yet there will be disagreements amongst them but that two is not as great as the problem if I mandate something people will take it as the only way and the messenger knew that in generations and centuries to come that humanity will develop so okay so enough said on that okay so let's get back to some of these other questions
now right let's see any questions coming in we've got a few people joining those of you just joining in live now Adam asylum become welcome share the live feed so others can benefit and post your questions below love one thing ah nothing not a I don't know what that question is about let's get to that question people what are some questions kanima can take place without a woolly what if the father of the girl refuses
her true love oh true love oh true love people true love yes alarmed what if the father yeah what does multi not be say what's an OB says what well let's to me may yet who knows but I say well let's the main yet whole illogical bahu I'm not from those who have true
love can enter their heart I'm not from those people lacking me you see Roger foon aqui a shock but anybody who sees your eyes can't help but fall in love true love huh what is somebody who her father denies person and Imam Stephen I've got your question I'll get to it in sha Allah does true love exists I mean love is an emotion so I suppose you can't deny an emotion even a husband's
book called the ring it's being translated into English as well the ring of the Dove it's called vocal hammam in Arabic is a book on the psychology of love and he discusses all these things about the different stages of love and people who have been in love and they've been obsessed and and can they be such thing as love at first sight and and he discusses all of that a la primera vista ora so the thing is that can there be
love so let's get to the question can a father prevent his child she's not child she's an adult can he prevent his daughter from getting married I don't believe he can that's not right he may have his reasons I think he can have his reasons as a human being you're entitled to your opinion he could feel that look this isn't this isn't right well for whatever reason that maybe he's inappropriate or whatever but if she decides to get married then that is her choice do you
need do you need a worry a guardian to get married no you do not in my understanding you do not need a guardian to get married that is only a recommendation for there to be familial harmony okay just just to clarify for there to be familial harmony so that's the important thing there has been a huge difference of opinion among scholars right from the early days of Islam um does is a guardian required there's being almost like a if you're going to
look at it from an opinion perspective a 50/50 kind of view the Hanafi method very clearly on the fact that a guardian is not required and and several people also transmitting that from imam malik I believe the understanding even on custom kind of gives leans towards that and that nourished and her feed also kind of pushes towards in this understanding that a guardian is not required and there is no there are a hadith but the a hadith have problems with them okay so and they've been problematized and if
you look at the verse of the quran the that you see that even some of the verses that Allah uses sorry that Allah teaches us that show that a woman herself is is getting married herself that that is the so for example hot air tanker has elgyn laid until she marries another and like this so so these kind of verses show that the woman is doing this of her own accord and Allah teaches well at a guru and do not prevent these
women from getting married if they want to if if they want to get married that you do not have the right to do so and I understand that some people have interpreted interpreted that to mean that they have the right to prevent them and that's inaccurate in my understanding so a woman can do that okay she does not require it is good to have the family on your side but it is not a mandatory requirement okay so you can get married without a wali that said I think sometimes you have to view everything you know sometimes impulsive decisions are not the the most kind of
wise or accurate decisions either you've got to kind of look at everything so and young people getting married is sometimes a recipe for disaster because they don't have the they have the biological maturity as in physically they you know they they sexually mature and capable but of having a sexual of being sexually active but they they still the kind of psychological maturity is difficult that's the whole the whole thing that you have to kind of look at him and I've answered this
before do check my previous Q&A that I think religions struggle today in providing a very kind of cohesive response to how should relationships work them because I don't think we have a a a kind of cohesive very relevant response for the modern age I think we're struggling with that and I think there's no harm in kind of admitting that but yes not alone me Allah make things easy because the the kind of response people just have is like just
get married even if you're a teen or just no or you know like a very robotic response which doesn't really work for people in the real world so I think that is that is a true challenge a sociological challenge that we are facing okay so right let's get to another question right somebody asked what does it take to be an imam in essence I mean imam share imam is usually somebody who leads prays so somebody who has a reasonable training within the islamic sciences and they could be leveled so you know if you if you've completed
course you are deemed a scholar of islam some of these courses can last anything from six to eight years it's like a seminary where people go and they study the islamic sciences which cover all and i've done this in the past that I've gone expanded on them which cover things like the Quran and it's tough serious explanation and studying hadith literature the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and how that works and going through the actual teachings and the major books and what authenticates hadith and studying things like fake islamic law and how that's codified and the legal theory
behind it the dissents the differences of opinion Islamic theology the Arabic language literature Creed theology in these kind of things history covering all these things from a basic fundamental to an intermediate to hopefully at least some of them to an advanced level that's what's required in general right moving on what do I think of the heliocentrism and Islam people of course this is absurd of course the Earth rotates around the Sun this is
literally absurd please do not be influenced by kind of medieval Christian theology Islam completely concurs with it has no problem whatsoever la encourages humans to be curious and to go out and to learn learn about the world around you learn about science learn about all of these kind of things okay so that's what I would encourage that never ever kind of see science as
an opposing force science is always something Muslims should be behind now if you know you find something challenging look into it learn about it but these kind of things like you know geocentrism more this kind of walk or kind of a debate is this this is Galileo ended that debate I mean we don't need to be preoccupied with many evil discussions okay right and seriously I mean people that are still thinking oh but the Quran doesn't say I mean what kind of an absurd statement is
that the Quran didn't come here to teach you you know like cosmology it didn't come here to teach you geology it didn't come you know if somebody's in a in a hospital and they're about to undergo surgery and somebody says well here's a surgical method you don't say oh but does the Quran speak about that particular surgical method you'll be like hell yeah please save save me goddamnit you know if you what kind of an absurd oh the Quran doesn't mention of course the Quran doesn't mention Quran doesn't mention most things it didn't come as I
said no all teach you everything about the world for God's sake right so this approach is is a very kind of I don't know it's like an intellectually and a socially handicapped approach to religion which I would really advise against right zul qarnain has asked a question about Kashmir can we derive motivation from Islam as a uniting force to fight a political battle of course of course Zeljko name we can derive motivation from Islam and places like Kashmir may
Allah grant them ease are unfortunately victims of huge oppression and you know yes yes sir alarming it's only there were there was a Bollywood movie made I think it's probably been maybe a year or a couple now that I think it was called Haider by Shahid Kapoor about the whole struggle of Kashmir and it was one of the first times in it's actually based on Hamlet that the whole thing and but it's it's an amazing the movie was was amazing and it it was one of the first
times in mainstream theatres in in Bollywood did they truly show the struggle of the Kashmiri people and and it received a lot of criticism for that but but may Allah grant them ease may Allah grant them ease ok so ok let's get on to another question those of you just tuning in analyst at and welcome if you can share the live feed I'll get to your questions in sha Allah I'm just trying to get ah damn you know when you're trying to get to a question and then all
of a sudden right let's get a question mufti what's your what's your breast size ruf if you are nah nothing Mattie what's my well I don't I'm sorry to break it to you but I don't have breasts I'm a mind god damn it men right so Rafi you need to lower
the game naughty naughty and and also I'm really confused about what kind of breasts cities that you're aware of because the right so right let's get to another question in your opinion the book the secret and the laws of attraction right now right so laws of attraction of answered this previously I do think that things work like that
like vibes and stuff like this I'm not sure if it necessarily works the way that these people say but I believe that within nature there is this this kind of mechanism how does it work is it influenced at a quantum level I don't know but it seems to work like if the hadith teaches that Allah says I treat my slave as he expects to be treated and I'm the Abdi have only he be if you expect bad bad will happen now that is true that when people are negative they give off negative kind of
vibes and they buy they are received with negativity right so they are received with with negativity okay so and and and creatures and can also detect these kind of things like you know like animals can sometimes detect fear from humans they can detect things which we can't obviously discern but I mean we can obviously we can read micro-expressions maybe subconsciously so in a similar way you get people who are sometimes very
happy-go-lucky and I believe that they are generally happy-go-lucky and it comes down to the mentality of being very happy-go-lucky that kind of induces that if you want to call it luck or if you want to say well the universe is bringing goodness to them but I believe that the result works the mechanism I don't know about the universe what that means when people say the universe is bringing it but I believe that they are maybe may certain laws in nature certain kind of vibes can be read okay
so these things do work and this is why I feel the messenger align the hadith internally used to encourage optimism and also positive kind of omens because it brings about this kind of positivity and happiness brings about you know they say smile and the whole world smiles right back at you and there's been some very interesting studies that have been conducted by also by the BBC and I forgot what University was with in the UK that was studying happiness and they conducted a study I think it was in
Bristol but it was in one of the cities in the UK where they got a certain number of people to go around and they had to smile so that's what they had to do and they had to do this for a certain number of days but you see smiling is so tied into feeling happy that by forging the smile because it's so tied into being happy the body kind of triggers the happiness because it's so linked so usually when you're happy you're smiling
but if you smile even if you're not happy because they're so intricate linked in a reverse manner triggers that thus the same psychological effect of being happy so these people ended up feeling very happy so so this this is this this is important and somebody saying well is how is this linked to Islam it is linked to Islam because the hadith teaches you that Allah says that I treat my servants as they put out the
car Anna in the optica than me he be as the person puts that out there they are treated accordingly okay so that's just to kind of put that out just to respond okay let's move on where am I located in the heart of England people in the heart of England Brom town Birmingham that's what I'm talking about the dawn place to be within the UK Birmingham is awesome it is where the heart is and I wouldn't really leave it I've been offered on many occasions but
not can't do people right so is surround a question if an adopted child is breastfed five times before the age of right - I take it does that child right now right damn it's moved on I can't see the rest of the comment but I take it is the child considered is that what you wanted to say I couldn't see the rest of
that question am I thinking of moving to Medina Medina is the city the enlightened city in Islam and it is the beloved city of the beloved messenger of allah salallahu alaihe salam considered the most virtuous place on earth above mark according to the those who adhere to the school of Medina like mice and follow Imam Malik but you see would I move to Medina I wouldn't neither would I moved to Makkah I would
be like my response I suppose would be like that of Imam Abu Hanifah when he was asked why do you live in Kufa and do not go to Mecca or Medina he said I would rather be in Kufa and my heart is with Medina then be in Medina and my heart be with Kufa see as kind of sinful people who are so distracted we belong in this part of the world this is where we and I would rather that my heart
whenever it looks at Medina whenever it thinks of Makkah a thinks of it in such with such virtue that rather than living there and then becoming so accustomed to it and seeing it as nothing but the kind of commercial corporate part of the world I wouldn't want to do that me I wouldn't even want to spend more time in Mato medina than necessary I would if I was there I'd rather just do what I have to do and then leave because I don't feel right you see I don't want to violate the the sanctity of mekele Medina with my with my corrupt that mind
and my polluted solar I'd rather be away from there but but always see as a pure place for me this is why I'm surprised with it people do things like you know go the unromantic kind of getaways III I struggle - you do - that's me as a person okay right so let's move on what have I done with my hair and beard I don't know I think I think it's pretty all right really save whatever it's done whatever is being done has been done with great panache my friend right so
you need a gym hell yeah I need a gym but it's not just they've got gyms but you know what to me they say that same not Omar would chase away the people after Hajj he would chase them away because he would say that you know by staying in Medina um you you become desensitized they go away go back to your places people and I think there's an importance in that I see a relevance in there because I remember many years ago when I did Umbra and I got there and I remembered that
the first day thinking wow and I thought to myself this is so awesome like and I thought what are all these people doing in the shops why are they not in the harem why are they not in in around the Kaaba I'll be awesome and I thought you know what let's get in there let's read and I thought you know at night like instead of you know let's say reading surat al-mulk before going to sleep why don't I go into the harem and read surat al-mulk while sitting in the harem and then go back and then go to sleep and I remember doing this when I got there this is many
years ago in my my youth right so but then with him I don't know over a week's time whatever and ah I was already desensitized I was like oh it's so hot let's go get an ice cream you see so this is my point we're just human all too human so this is why I'd rather just recognize myself know thyself and I'd rather as imam abu hanifa said stay right where i am in a metropolitan cosmopolitan part of the world where people like like us belong
and just always see places like muck the haramein has blessed beloved places to our hearts that's all right what is to a cool and the benefits and limits so what Calderwood ahmed is where you have a reliance upon allah it is awesome within islam to always have that reliance upon Allah its limits odd but don't be foolish don't be foolish the prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in a hadith that he said when somebody asked him about to a cool and and they came to the Masjid and they left they camel
there and they were about to enter and the Prophet said why why haven't you tied your camel and they said it's like somebody pulling up today right those of you just joining in Allen were saddling people share the live feed get it out there and post your questions I will try to get to them okay Sophie Nicole so I'll answer your question in a moment right so now the Prophet said what it's like today somebody just leaving their keys in the car and just pulling up outside of Masjid for example and the Prophet said why haven't you tied that the camel and he said it's okay he said I'm you know he said I'm I'm going to
the Masjid - what : I love lie I trust in Allah the prophet said laughs don't be foolish he said until her photo occurred he said that tie it then have trust you take the necessary means and measures then trust in God you know God is not you know God is not going to the hand of God will not come and feed you right it will not get you up out of bed and tell you to you do these things yourself
get up get off your behind and do what you gotta do in life then have trust in Allah when it comes to the outcome that I've done my best now you know ya la make it happen you know like I did my best that's what Sawa cool is all about - what cool is not about this kind of oh don't worry you know I'm just gonna see ya allah will do it for me Allah will do for me Allah will do for me a long-- ain't gonna do anything for you my friend you know there was an awesome there was a there's a Bollywood movie where it's made
on a a true account I forgot what it's called now it's got a strange name - something like something like Manjeera or money Manjeera or something but it's it's based on this the man who actually split the mountain and it's a true life in it's a true life event about a man who actually cut and he paved his way through a mountain he actually he actually broke a mountain a single man it took him I believe almost 22 years to do it it's a very kind of it's it's a low-budget movie but it's very moving
and it's a troupe I'm not sure if the person is still alive today but uh and I believe he deserves an award for his commitment right so you know may Allah no it's not Kilimanjaro it's about a mountainous it's not a massive but it's a mountain that was in some remote part of India that they couldn't they had no road to get to this the town or the city so they had to go through and around these mountains and it resulted in casualties and deaths and so this person his wife dies as a consequence and he he loves his wife so much and he's so hurt by this that he says he will break this mountain and and that's what he actually
does and he takes him over two decades of his life but there's an interesting quote in there where he's on his way to Parliament and they ask him how do you have a message for people and he says that he says to them that Bhagavan kiss AHA DeMuth Bethel he says that kajaani shouts Bhagwan be tumhari Sahara 'but all he says that you know like that don't obviously he's speaking about Bhagwan meaning God like in the Hindu sense but he says that don't be sitting depending on God perhaps God's waiting
on you one beat Amara Sahara bear told us like the point is that God may have destined it for you if you are prepared to get off your behind and do it so that's that's an interesting quote somebody had asked where I'm from ethnically originally originally I'm from ethnically from Pakistan my parents from Pakistan Pakistan people that say they'll deal Pakistan now my youngest daughter now three year old she's actually learned that now Pakistan
zindabad right so let's get to the next question what constitutes a man's aura mines all rise generally between you know you've got the navel to the knee between that really and the cool aura is you see you have something called the core around an extended aura the cool aura is really just your private parts and you're behind and then the extended older for mine is his thighs and that's it really right what is a dhaba is that a beast that comes from the earth advising
mankind to do well I'm not exactly sure what at that but the battle on oh sorry a dhaba is but it's mentioned in some hadith you know these things to do with the signs of the end of time they are as if in our short mentions that they are from Islamic information they are not from Islamic Creed okay is there any way right okay Suraj let me get to your question right so that's from they're not from Islamic creep so you it's okay to entertain entertain some of them but don't take them as a matter of creed okay because we don't really truly know
what they mean and some of them may have mean misinterpreted by some of the early converts to Islam of a Jewish and Christian background who may have misrepresented some of the ADIZ eg those to do with maybe the Dajjal or the Maddie or stuff like this and Jesus and his second coming will well stuff like this these things have been also problematized by some scholars in Islam right those of you people who are just tuning in share the live feed put your questions there and I'll get to them right so the question is on if an older child cannot be right okay
does a child become a madam if he's breastfed under the age of two yes he does what that means is the nursing mother is is like a substitute mother islamically for the child so that's fine the question then was right Zafar I'm going to try to find your questions he you claim they're interesting we'll put that to the test right what do adoptive children take the rulings of being Madam's you see I would feel that as part of this day and age part of the itch they had is that I
would say that ma the adopted children under the age of puberty that are adopted as children right they would take the rulings of muharram okay so that would be we would have to rule accordingly and the Sharia in my understanding would make would want us to do so in order for this to safeguard the welfare of these of these vulnerable children and to make sure they get nourishing and nurturing homes so that's my ruling that yes they would become
Muharram as children that are brought up in a certain home they would take the same ruling and if they are adopted because in adoption it's different to foster fostering they kind of move around a lot but in adoption they they can also take the surname of the family I've highlighted that before you can check that out okay so as a former teacher educator in a school what are your opinions on home schooling right home schooling you see I
know if you if you can do it okay I don't think I could ever do it I'll just be way too lazy to I do think sometimes that now sometimes I think it is very important for to mix with other children their own kind of age or similar age right so because that's how children learn so if you read a lot of you know prj or Vygotsky on how the kind of the zone of proximal differences and how children enhance the they kind of learning skills
you see it is through peer learning and they sometimes are more influenced through peer learning than they are through even kind of vertical kind of parental or teacher education so I think it's important so I'm not so sure personally I wouldn't homeschool that's me personally if somebody's doing and they're doing it well alhamdulillah maybe those kind of home schools where what is meant is several children together that are kind of like a classroom but it's almost like a community private classroom maybe so maybe so those kind of things that would
be more fond of but I think schools as long as the school is fine Al hamdulillah school schooling yeah it does inhibit you I mean but if the school is good maybe it will provide a good experience I think when we were kids our primary school was was awesome I really did love the primary school in it and it's amazing because it built a kind of common sense in us and back then I suppose in the 80s and primary schools were still teaching I suppose was still a kind of middle class profession and
there was still more of a passion to it and there was less institutionalization so it's interesting to see that and secondary school was a nightmare hey like we just went to prison basically that's what but it's interesting they say that many kind of academics have shown that when even adults Eve when they are faced with certain challenges they resort to certain structures that they developed in the childhood as anchors and and that's that's interesting so a lot of the
people I know that we were from a relatively kind of I grew up in an area called hansworth in Birmingham which was a very kind of rough and tough area and still is to some extent but I mean I'm still is but I mean although I don't live there now but my point is that that so what I'm trying to say is that may all the people I know from that school who are now like my age or older they you will still have they still are reason decently kind of well-spoken even though they didn't go on many to pursue a formal like a higher education
they all seem to be kind of very like they can articulate themselves reasonably well they can you know that they all seem to be reasonably intelligent in their own way and now I see that I contrast that with other areas in Birmingham and I see a difference and I'm intrigued why that is but anyway let's move on right so somebody says surah Ezra says one must not even say off to one's parent however if a parent is continually emotionally abusive would it be permissible to raise
ones voice you see I think what we have to understand is that you see two wrongs don't make a right however there are extenuating circumstances okay so let's be like sometimes you are pushed to doing certain things and that's given the circumstances people may understand why you did them it doesn't necessarily make it a right thing but it's okay you know you shouldn't be disrespectful to parents and maybe you can do the same thing in a respectful way but however sometimes you might be pushed and provoked and to an extent where you react and that's human
you know you may do that in hindsight later in years to come you may realize you know okay I don't behave right but so I think there's extenuating circumstances but doesn't make the wrong right either okay so people a little silent those of you just tuning in share the live feed people and post any of your questions I'll try to get to them insha'Allah his Jamrock has asked another question Allah says and we created from from everything
we created you in pairs that you may reflect unicellular organisms like amoeba don't have sexual reproduction and amoeba just splits itself into two amoebas does this contradict the Quran well I guess what you're trying to say is well I take it you're trying to say well the largest got that wrong is that way all right so so by that verse we should have a footnote saying this is what it did say then but has shamrock in the updated in the updated
manuscripts has written except in single-celled unicellular microbes right relax relax Allah says well now come come come is used for human beings only okay it is what they call Gemma little Arkell it is the plural used for somebody with reason you don't even use comb for animals okay in Arabic you would say if you if you were addressing it you would address it either in the
feminine or singular sense you do not address animals or non in English we say animate and inanimate but in Arabic it's not to do with animal it's not true with life is to do with reason aqil so if you're non-human you are addressed in the feminine kind of form in language I don't mean you're effeminate I just mean in language and you are never addressed with that Plue okay so don't laugh like a demon Oh too late I am The Devil's deception right so
next question in India the government banned the Islamic practice of men giving divorce I don't think the government Bundy I think it banned the recognition of it okay so I've answered this previously right so people let's go through some of these questions somebody was saying I've I've asked a lot of interesting questions where are they let's take a look at them explain the issue of jinn literally intro entering humans and taking control I will trim more head it's all nonsense and I've done a whole
course on it so just wait for the course you can meanwhile check out some previous videos I've done on jinn possession okay it does not happen right I know that along with people just tuning in those of you just tuning in share click share on the live feed get it out this or this can benefit to and post your questions below I'll try to get to them right so Samira muster Fick has posted a question current conversation current conversation what should I ask Mufti lathe and he says can you wash clothes on Friday I don't know
can you wash towels on Fridays right so says do you have any tips on maintaining prayer and doing it out of love as opposed to it being an obligation sometimes I find my prayers are a bit robotic and the fast feel bad about this your question is dumb okay right so my question was a joke perhaps he'll say my name well yes I have I've said your name alright coming in from Chicago Samira
musta feech doing it right so question look this is an interesting question how do you make the rituals of Islam more meaningful whether it's prayer whether it's things like this but one way you could do that is try to learn what the prayer actually means okay learn maybe learn Arabic gradually try to understand things that said I do admit that look like any ritual habitual ization will desensitize the process
naturally so like anything you know when you're reading repetitively you will just go through the motions but one way you can make prayer you can counter that so the first step I would advise try to learn the Arabic language I advise everybody Arabic is a beautiful beautiful language people it's an amazing language honestly it has turned my life around so I would definitely advise everybody learn the Arabic language there's many courses going on many courses online or start normally Han has many courses with baekje now many people in the UK have online courses do learn
them you can get that done trust me right that's my first step of advice second step for those of you that maybe can't do that or have done that and are still struggling one way you can bring worship to a bit of life the answer has been mentioned in an amazing hadith of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and that is where the Prophet said adora Mahalo but that making duaa is is the kind of the kind of inner core
that keeps life and gives life to worship so whenever you're in Salah according to the school of Medina the are can be made in any language you can make the I in English so when you are in Salah when your Institute maker to offer yourself ask for yourself okay and ask in English ask in or two asking are we asked in any language you speak ask a lot to give you say a prayer for somebody else asked for somebody else asked to ease the suffering of those around the world ask for maybe
somebody personal that you know this will bring life back to your worship in Charlevoix okay so that's my my advice I hope inshallah it can be of some help okay those of you just tuning in share the live feed people get it out there and post your questions let me get to them in shot law Zephyr Terry not said he's got some interesting questions all life insurance is allowed and generally insurances Ali Razi right I've answered this in much more depth previously I do believe that insurances are allowed yes
that is fine insurances are not River they fall under something called Maha Torah the but the the trade of risk now because the day and age has changed and the sociological structures have changed and with them commerce has changed the the reality of contracts has changed so in this day and age these things are no longer exploitative I mean first of all these things didn't even exist like that
back in in the time of the Prophet but other things which were to do with risk were highly exploitative and the rights of the people were seldom preserved today that has changed and thereby as the principle says that'll hokum that ya do Rama Allah Allah would you deny admin that the ruling goes with the actual cause that I love of that ruling and today these transactions in this part of the world are honored and protected and they are not exploitative and therefore and can be very helpful and they're quite negligible in some cases so
sometimes you might take out an insurance which you are happy to pay sure something happened it will be of great relief so oh that is permitted in my understanding right what is my take on preserving Islamic relics in Medina and Mecca some insist that the relics have to be replaced with hotels and accommodate for Hajj others insist see I think it would be awesome if you could preserve these relics okay it's a shame what honestly i it disturbed me to see I don't know if this was true but I've
read something just last week on Facebook about Saudi Arabia preserving some of the iconic locations of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab the kind of Wahhabi Salafi revolutionary and it hurt me to see that you where you have no qualms in destroying the the sacred kind of traditions the legacy the belongings the locations of the prophet of God and the
Blessed companions you have no qualms in destroying they they kind of Herer they kind of spatial heritage and that of the gravy moms like imam malik his house and maybe we lived you know and yet okay okay you have a policy we will not preserve anything but then it hurt me to see that you make exceptions for this revolutionary you know your so-called revolutionary leader who who I don't support but okay but at the very least
was involved in the bloodshed of several people you know blood was shed at his hands and and I'm not here to right now this isn't an analysis on Mohammed Abdel Wahab but my point is that you preserve him who was a religious figure he wasn't a something else he was a relief I'm you have no qualms in destroying other religious things of the prophet of God so I would find that these things ought to have been saved and I don't think it's difficult I I find it amazing
how in the UK they will have people who are not even so in on the grand scale of things amazing but they will have their house and they will preserve it set up a small Museum around there and and they will have you know you can read this bio about them and do this and do this and you can do all of these things but and it's so amazing how places like the UK do that for anybody that they have and we have so much history in places like Modena and they've knock it I am sure if you put the architects to it money is not an issue with the Kingdom of sod sorry
kingdom of South right so you know that some money is not an issue so you can pay some you know wise intelligent architecture designing for you come on you can do that so what they've destroyed it anyway so anyway that's my opinion hadith your spouse has been decided for you for me right so fifty thousand years before creation in the Quran he says you will be with your spouse in Jannah what if you don't your dunya money for
because of many reasons but that is not true I don't believe that your spouse has been decided for you like that you get to choose your own spouse right you get to choose your own spouse but what it means is Allah in a lost knowledge obviously he knows what you will choose ok that's what it means ultimately and ultimately Allah obviously destiny is a difficult kind of topic but I have answered this before you can refer to my Q&A York University where I speak about predestination and how we can maybe
understand a bit more a step closer through quantum physics but the point in essence is you have freewill and you choose yourself if you are in a miserable relationship you can leave that relationship God has not to put you in you or your family or whoever it is has put you in it right does the moon-landing disprove the Quran of course it doesn't the Prophet says that the son goes to prostrate under the throne of God first of all that that hadith right this hadith that you're talking
about even if not a bus who is transmitting the hadith say is that this is a metaphor says that the Prophet meant by that the son glorifies God as in it works in accordance with his laws that have been set out that's what it means okay so it's not a this is this is figurative speech okay people those of you that are tuned in share the live feed get it out there post your questions let me get to them what are the questions what are the questions can Muslim men and Muslim women ever just be
friends can men and women ever just be friends [Laughter] I mean I think you can I think Muslim I don't think this question is to do with Muslims I think this question is just generally 10 men and women how my God my how my kneecap right so believe in falling and made of God right ok so block David he's got blocked right so ok
right now can men and women be friends I think that's an interesting question I think they can definitely it depends what you mean by friends I guess I guess that's what it means I think they can be friends as in they can be friendly and friends and chat and discuss and do I think men will always be men and all the men out there that are listening to me know that and those that say what on earth is he talking about just liars there's been a lot of
some kind of social experiments on stuff like this and interviews I think men will always just be men all right and that's the the true nature that God has created us with and I saw evolutionary nature it's our instincts I think there's nothing wrong with that I you know I seriously dislike the fact that the way men are kind of made to it almost feel guilty or society is designed to kind of make men it tries to make them feel bad about the evolutionary instinct all kind of nature
that's him that's male human nature why why should you don't expect ant male species in all other animals to be embarrassed for being like you know Oh for having that kind of Drive sexual drive of always being wired like that but it's what you do about it okay that can be discussed but to be like that why why is that necessarily a bad thing like what I tell it's part of our evolutionary process of as human beings and it's right throughout life you take life life and just take species that are
male and that is all they do right so just to clarify so I think you know we shouldn't because I I kind of see this in society it's weirdest it's an irony of Western society I think that on one hand it's hyper sexualized on the other hand it kind of sees this as like oh it's so disgusting like if men have sexual thoughts is always disgusting it's always perverted but if women have it it's okay oh it's just oh it's seen as like oh it's okay you know they just and I think that's almost that it's like a weird kind of diss
in contradiction of modern Western society as we are developing further and I think that's so I think the main point is okay people can ask about acting out and depends what people do but generally this shouldn't be something seen as like blameworthy so I think coming to the question you can be friends but I suppose now the mind is what the mind is that's I hope that gives some transparent kind of answer to that Adam
saying feminism yep feminists are gonna be really upset with me saying that but what the hell huh it's like you know people are like oh yeah like like I read this thing online about certain women saying like well why do men look at them sexually I thought what I just tried to get my head around what I was reading
like hmm hmm that's disgusting like why do they even like look like what I mean by look as in like like if they see a woman why do they like conceptualize her as anything to do with like a sexual like why like this is disgusting
so so now right okay and I thought like I don't know where this is going do you understand I don't know where this is going this is interesting because this there's a question I was asked last week actually and it was about this mean these articles that have been going around about is to do with artificial intelligence but also to do with and I think I may have touched upon it a bit to do with these kind of lifelike sex dolls that were being created and people were saying well the way and some of them look incredibly
lifelike already like that's like in our age let alone where where science is going with artificial intelligence so there was like this article was shared with this thing about well you know if this carries on the way it's going men generally won't need won't need women this is all I suppose sexually won't need them now I you know that's an interesting discussion so so somebody had asked me about this and I remember reading the article and I thought well okay let's envisage a world which I don't think is
so far away with these kind of very lifelike dolls exist and then because they're so look so awesome and look so like incredibly super model and and they don't nah go they don't do anything and it's like so now men just have them so let's say most men just have these dolls so in that case they and they can buy in an infinite variety of them so in that case now let's say men because they're so satiated right whenever they have sexual urges this is a thought experiment they just go home or wherever and they've got these incredible variety
of like like just mind boggling kind of lifelike dolls so they no longer look at women with sexual appreciation let's just envisage this for a moment that this happened right and I don't think this is so far really I think within the next few decades this will become a reality in some parts of the world now in some societies we definitely some people now if men no longer had that kind of sexual appreciation towards the female species because they had an alternative which for them was much more
effective because it was artificially intelligent and it could so it could produce lifelike kind of human like responses and everything I could guarantee that that not only besides upsetting the whole kind of scale of nature like how would as a thought experiment how would these very same people feel would it not be like it would be like they would they not no longer want that attention if that attention was no longer thee to give
because it's an interesting kind of like thought experiment which I think actually is not that far away I think actually maybe within on I think I do believe within our lifetimes we will this is already happening by the way but I feel it will go on to happen and this is part of what the 21st century challenges that we have she will probably buy a myth you see but that's the thing I think this they I think it's different because I don't think even science seems to show that men and women seek different things so with men it is
a lot of the immediate kind of sexual gratification with women it's not so much it is that as well but that's what science seems to show that it's it's also a longer more meaningful thing like it's if there's a lot of psychological mental connection that is important as well with women so this is why I'm not sure if the the doll thing for for women would work as well because it's not the immediate it's more a mental connection that is also important but I think that's important it's interesting this as a as a kind of thought experiment okay let's write to let's move some
magic abaga me saying write change the subject change the subject he was part of the question I didn't answer was somebody asked would they would that be allowed from an Islamic perspective and certain scholars if not a majority scholars from the humbly method to show that that is permissible from their time where they speak about artificial kind of sexual outlets in there time so let's now that I've answered that for all those asking right no need to kind
of lose track let's get to the next question if Islam does not recommend a model for political governess how do we explain Islam's teachings on criminal laws and zakat distributions wow that's a radical shift right now right so how right Islam does not advocate any particular method for governance but it does teach certain laws and it gives objectives of laws if humans live in a
society whereby they govern themselves how they govern themselves it has not been dictated do you choose a democracy do you choose an autocracy do you choose an oligarchy do you choose a monarchy do you choose a whatever you choose Islam has not given one preference it just has not spoken in fact it's interesting because Islam the Koran seems to condemn this one ruler almost approach of the Kings that the verse of the Quran to do with Solomon Ali salon we built is the Quran quotes Assange in el maluca in the
dejalo Parisian of Sidhu ha the Kings all they truly do is corruption work at a lakea value and and that is indeed how they do so that is interesting that the Quran actually when speaking about this actually portrays this kind of aaalac oligarchy this kind of monarchy with one person as control as corruption so Islam doesn't say how the instrument but it says when you do there should be laws which protect human rights so that's why it has these laws in place and and kind
of like a penal justice code and things like this who next question people why are you judging a person by his beard these are people judging me do you get if you if you judge please shave your beard it doesn't look like the Sunnah of our prophet well well you spell that correct prophet because that's block there you go block people right next question the hello illa huwa illa billah' no I'm ya musta caught it now I'm you know la
quwwata illa billah right let's let's move on people let's move on next question next question hey no sana a no sana where have we got to you right can is there more reward to perform salah on the red carpet area of the prophet's mosque right the Prophet spoke of praying in his mosque has an elevated reward that's because of it being a blessed place and playing praying playing praying in makka al mukarrama has an elevated ward the
Prophet said that between my minbar and and close to where the Prophet is there it is like a garden from paradise it doesn't mean it's an actual paradise it means it's a it's a blessed incredibly blessed place so yes you can pray there with amazing rewards okay so next next question next question right those of you just tuning in quick I'll take some rapid round questions people then we'll lock this off so you can fire away some rapid round share the live feed get it out there like the clip whilst you're at it and I'll go through so how do we deal
with the likes of Tommy Robinson and others right we have to there's two ways of dealing with this one is the questions that they give rise to we can deal with theologically the other is we can disprove sociologically what they're saying by being good human beings and by leading by example right next question if we came across an alien would we be able to treat them like these lowborn behave next question
did ignite Amy I believe the genus of species is eternal I'm not sure what you mean by that what species are we talking about somebody Mohan Singh is written in Hindi aberjian
Artic kar raha hey us huh scare rm1 sing hum you're not a cover hey I've been a dick it's a mud thick if you don't want to watch this go let me just block him right so right next to if if it won't if it weren't for my young son I would want to just go crazy and die it's a tough life
Ronnie our prayers are with you may you know and they God make things easy for you and it's great to hear that your your child is very beloved to you what is how long do you pray generally I mean prayers are just however long they take you I guess it's not in wadu' can you wipe over the head or all of it if your maliki generally the way to when you're wiping off the head it's like that you can bring it back if you wipe over a certain amount that's okay but generally rather than doing this just go like that at least get that done at
least people that's what I would say you forgot my question are you an Asha RTE ah look at this trying to label me you're not in that eh how do we deal okay right counting people any fun rapid round questions rapid round let's take some if you're just tuned in oh you're pretty late but click like click share' get this out there and put any rapid round questions you've got somebody saying I miss their question you know what it is I only get to see a like just
it's like just a small amount at the bottom of the screen and it keeps moving does the Taliban's harsh puritanical interpretation of Islam originated from Deobandi Hanafy interpretation of Islam ostracize hood that mustard with you here the Taliban were an audio Bundy but that doesn't mean I suppose all the urban these think like that it doesn't mean that I think generally the whole indo-pak thing is based on a kind of very kind of Islam is puritanical in essence and then they vary amongst themselves they honor spectrum so you know may Allah make
things easy and expand people's reasoning I mean right so so I think the motherís our system definitely needs to be revisited massively needs to be revisited I think the motherís our system today is not only broken but it's constantly producing broken people so it's like it's a production line but because imagine something's coming off and now one of them's got knocked off so all the others that are being pushed off or just getting knocked off and it's just creating a pile of just knocked off and damaged goods so it needs to be visited
I mean revisited by them what would you tell your 18 year old self god I don't know man I don't know I think I was I suppose we all are very different people what I would say is look throughout life always be prepared to learn be prepared don't be afraid of questions that you see okay don't let questions scare you away I till today I say that look you can bring me any question whether it's to do with faith or anything I will at
least try to answer it or I will at least if I can't answer it I will think about it one of our teachers who taught us and taught me the movie I think Oh Rahman may Allah bless his soul and elevate him in Jannah he passed away as a martyr he he taught us internally when he taught us hadith the famous book of tirmidhi he said that look sometimes you guys ask me questions like you say hey what's this what's this how do we understand this hadith had and he said look I'm just like you and he said in life people will come to you and
ask you questions so you tried to before you asked me try to come up with an answer yourself and I think that was some amazing advice he gave and I share that with you people that look try to come up with an A and do not be intimidated of developing even if it shakes you the Holy Quran says if anyone kills a human being unless it is as though yep that's correct that's true it's mine just wait until the next time it's not rapid-fire
questions I guess mention my name like two times but cool right I've answered the older one when it comes to man's or a difference of opinion within methods generally the methods agree Abdul Aziz they just disagree on whether the knee is part of it or not and some say yes some say no the navel whether it's part of it or not whether the thigh is part of it on they've got some disagreements amongst themselves but generally they all seem to go with between the navel to the knee and Malik ER do it very clearly as the core aura they make a distinction is only the private part and behind and the rest is all extended over an
extended aura means it can be compromised based on situations and circumstances balancing a loss love and mercy with the reality of eternal hell and graphical punishments fifty thousand years long as they you see Adam Khan as I've highlighted before that look Allah has mentioned certain things in the Quran certain things to incentivize a certain things to may be intent frighten us so we can get off our lazy behind and do things does that mean Allah has to do that it doesn't mean that a lot doesn't have to punish anybody if he doesn't want to he doesn't have to send anybody
to paradise if he doesn't want so the thing is as the Prophet said look you don't get into Jannah because of your he said you get into Jannah by the grace of God said nobody gets into Jannah by their actions so it's important to look we just recognize that yes God has motivated us and he has maybe at times kind of given us a intimidating impetus from like frightening kind of impetus to say well you better do this we just get on with it and we leave those things to Allah it doesn't mean that they have to happen
like that okay what was your biggest failure in life Kamala Theo Pandey ji you wanna embarrass me huh many failings but are failing are failures you know I've read somewhere a quote from actually from Confucius where he said that uh that it's not that our greatest failures are not in in falling
in life but it but in not being able to rise each time we fall and that is the the amazed that is the important thing that always stay positive people always try to be positive and optimistic smile at the world let it smile right back at you we've all got many failures I've got many I'm sure you guys you know may have many right but your subtle I mean it's not please explain why people refrain from wanting to celebrate any life occasions during Muharram first ten days that's really Salma Rizvi for example I want to have an anniversary that's some
are really more Shia influence I think you can celebrate anything in life in the first I mean any life events you can you can just be normal Muharram is just normal according to the early community of Islam in the Quran the Sunnah the early community they live normally they didn't have special holy days or days of mourning or days of you know that we death anniversaries of you know people they didn't do these kind of things they don't mourn this is all a very kind of later Latter day Shia influence that was created and then crept into certain cultures so I know
some people don't eat meat on certain of these ten days and stuff like that it's all it's I mean you could do whatever you want but it's not Islamic I mean it's not from a true Islamic source obviously it's too part of certain Islamic cultures when does the domino effect of mutton existing and I'm not sure what that question means and the sacrifice is read the story of Karbala and you won't want to party I don't really want to get into a debate but I don't advert I don't advocate mourning not over Karbala or anything right I don't advocate mourning in general okay I feel that Allah has given human beings
a great blessing of Islam and the message of Islam is a positive optimistic message tragedies have happened we acknowledge them as tragedies but we don't get besotted and obsessed with tragedies that's my understanding you can disagree I mean you can say you know you want to be really you want a more Nukem or all year round I mean you can be a very mournful purse and that's your interpretation that's your way of looking at things I personally find that very counterproductive I found it I find it very goth like but that's how I see Islam I don't see the early Imams the
self of this Ummah Imam Malik never mooned on the day of Karbala he never mourned this he never said that it was a special day he treated it just Imam Shafi'i never mooned imam abu hanifa never moon they never did these things so that's my understanding but you can take your understanding work however you like where am i I'm in my man cave people I'm in my man cave that's actually one of my Wi-Fi names it's the man cave
in India Ahmed Siddiqui says I want to change the situation use reason may Allah help you man Ahmed Siddiqui I don't know what to say really how to advise maybe just I don't know maybe promote certain lectures or certain things or certain people and I don't know it's difficult it's difficult because it's a long struggle look even in the UK I try to speak about the voice of reason and look in the UK for God's sake we get all this backlash and people just so blind to like only they hate the sound of the voice of reason which is
shocking because the Quran only seems to address you know Lila contact a loon in the hope that you use your intellect alone know how you know all it'll absorb people of reason people of intellect people of this is what the Quran constantly goes on addresses right okay people let's let's wrap this up let's wrap this up first book to read for a non-muslim um I think you can go through certain lectures maybe your read certain things on it's difficult question I don't yes of course read the Quran you
can read cierra maybe I would advise it as a non-muslim listen to people I share Hamza Yusuf is an amazing person an amazing voice you listen to people like imam sahib wit as a new muslim amazing voice these people are on voices of reason these people are oh you are do bundy no i'm not idea bundy know best i don't have anything against them I'm not a real video pon the Salafi anything no and this is what you see this is the thing that you see if you belong to a sect or a denomination it doesn't matter
how independent you think you are or how like independently thoughtful you think you are you will always to some extent toe the party line you can never truly be critical and objective if you are part of a denomination you can never never you know you can not you can only you can do so but it will result in clashing with the group and breaking away from them because the group the pack is always very territorial it's like how Nietzsche
said that that that sanity is an exception in individuals but the norm in groups so the so we have to understand that if you this is why I advise people to respect all groups I respect the abundance many of my teachers with the open these many of my teachers were Braille v I studied in a day opened in Madras I stood in a bravely Madras I'm Peter I'm Jarvis madrasah I studied also in jami rebecca partially which is the chamber salafiyyah that one of the leading Salafi madrasa in pakistan i have teachers from all of these people
from these denominations i respect them all and i disagree with them all but I am NOT like I am NOT a follower of one of these groups that because that I'm a Muslim I'm from Alice from another main Orthodox of Muslims in terms of a school of practice what I choose I go through the school of Medina Imam Malik that tradition that's not to do with kind of denominations in that sense is to do with how you practice and how you pray and so on but I respect them all and I think none of them were angels I think none of them were prophets I think they all said things I think they all made
mistakes just like we all do and I think they all did some great stuff too so that's my view on mid-missouri DeHaan and other people as well all right people so with that I take it it's coming to an end this mean whoa it's been over two hours right those of you just tuned in people right no I probably mosfilm I know I probably must don't worry about it don't worry about it insha'Allah Allah next week next week right so the what I would say is that if you're new to to my page or to this inshallah
do like this feed share it get it out there once I kind of make it go public do you like my public page follow it so you get updates about what I'm doing in shot law and if you have any questions or you want to just reach out to me people you can reach out to me you can message me you can message me on my public and my private profile whichever one my private one probably if you're just sending a message might be better if you want to share some thoughts or just you know just say hi more than welcome people it's awesome I I'm very reachable okay I'm very kind of and within reach that's the main thing
okay so if you're on snapchat you can add me on Mound 2014 mal n stands for Mufti Abu layth Maliki to zero one four right if you're on Twitter you can at me with the add me on the on that same Twitter handle and insha'Allah I will connect with you people so till then inshallah I'll leave you with these words that subhan allahi wa ta'ala unmanned your cell phone now male Lobby may God be praised and above he is above what they ascribe unto him of the Ocelot or salam ala al and mum noon and the best of blessings and salutations upon
the blessed messenger who said Al Madina - hey de l'homme Locarno yonder moon that Medina is indeed better for them if but only they knew people take very good care of yourselves remember me in your kind or as Salam o aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato
