As-salamu alaykum, folks. I want to share a special message today with anyone that has or is going through grief, loss of a loved one, a separation, anxiety, or pain.

0:31

It's coming to a year to the day tomorrow that my mom passed away. And you know what it is, grief is a strange beast, you know, it's something which Ya salam, we we can't rationalize, we don't understand, we can't predict, we just experience, and

1:02

and in a way it detaches us from the ephemeral, the passing, the fleeting things of this dunya, and strengthens our bond with the divine. There is a beautiful verse from Surat Tawbah, verse 40, where Allah says, "La tahzan." You know, don't be sad.

1:30

Knowing that you will you will be saddened, you will be grieving, you will be like in "La tahzan." Don't "La tahzan." "Inna Allaha ma'ana." That surely Allah is with us. So, any of you that have or are experiencing this, truly it is only understood by those who've gone through it.

2:00

And that is one of its greatest lessons. That you can partake, you know, be sober. That you can partake in somebody's you know, in their pain, in their suffering, in their sorrow, in their sadness, you can actually truly understand it. That only then can you truly be there for people.

2:36

And Allah makes things easy for each and every one. And it you know, it just So, I wanted to share that with anybody that's going through such difficulty, that stay strong, hang in there. You know, there's a a poem that uh in Urdu that

3:08

But you know, I when these wounds heal, I shall return. That I may have lost the battle, but I've not lost hope or in Urdu it's "I have not lost heart." I have not lost heart. I have not lost heart. Yeah. But it is strange, you know, you understand John Elia, he says you know, "I have no peace." I have no peace.

3:43

Was there just this one person in this world that I can't find peace? But Allah make things easy for each and every one. I just wanted to, you know, sometimes it's just I guess just sharing that voice. Allah bless you all.
