bienvenidos a todos right what is going on what is going on right so he's back Monday nights with Mufti people of Rai those of you watching on YouTube as well oh don't say I think the comments might actually be active that's something that I'll have to get rid of later on anyway
what is going on I was sad then my son Suzanne arise sounds like a cool name rays I know son and Elizabeth domicile and become Omar heaven what's going on me ain't there what is bothering or preoccupying the thoughts and minds of the awesome Facebook people right so what is going on is it somebody's asked a question saying is it allowed to fight against the coup far as a state of
another line don't accept right what don't accept Islam or pages yeah Jeezy Islam Q&A and frozen or even Salafis say it is okay right well somebody's asking why do you love so much porque yeah why is that a problem two comments have gone tattoo mr.
tattoo two one four five zero has asked well it is what it is week as some people in this world enjoy laughter as I say what's life without laughter people so coming back to the question Marcus asked you have a word for your haters oh yes I do be patient there's so much more to come yet stop preparing yourselves people
deep breaths all right so what is going on so the question somebody had asked about is it okay to fight go far that's an absurd ridiculous question of course it's not okay to fight go far and the jizya you know this jesse is so misunderstood people it is one of the unfortunate great tragic need to add a few more em you know emphatically yeah
it is a catastrophic cataclysmic it's one of the it's a calamity of biblical proportions that has struck this Ummah the this understanding of geez yeah people assume that jizya is an Islamic something that was introduced by Islam and it never was this is this is the this is something people never bothered
to check up that this term jizya and the actual jizya the concept of this kind of agreement tags or an agreement whatever is that you make a payment now this was something that from way before Islam from the northern Arabian territories the kingdoms of LA made the kingdoms of the Sun those kingdoms in the Middle East way before Islam emerges way before the lifetime of the Prophet when the Arabian Peninsula didn't even really have any importance as far as Arabs were concerned
back then they were using it up north this was it was it was already an understanding that it's they're going to pay whatever is I mean whatever they had their tribal warfare they had their tribal settlements they did whatever they did and they had this concept of GZA hence even the Jewish Arabs had this and they in the Jewish tradition as well as I believe it's called cos eat or something but it's it has a similar kind of etymology so so what happened is
Muslims have assumed unfortunately because when Islam came about it was so powerful in its what it did in redefining everything that it became like the analogy is like such a bright light and although a bright light is brilliant and great and it shows the path ahead of you the problem is what's behind it becomes blacked-out and you can't really see and in that analogous sense you see Islam eclipsed the history of the Arabs that went
before it and that's I mean that's I'm not saying that may not do so much harm one may think well what's what's the big deal with eclipsing the the historicity of the Arabs prior to Islam there isn't I mean from from a perspective there isn't much harm it's just saying well a a kind of history died out but the the problem is that you see the all the terms that Islam speaks about that become that get kind of carved into
stone there's no continuity for them so people assume that they were doing so let me give you an example hang in there roll with me on these people check let's say for example now people 500 years from today or documenting let's say my life alright but let's say they want to go in accordance with my instructions with my teachings with my guidance now and they want to follow my day-to-day
life about things that I do so but I'm living within a context within the UK within the norms within the conventions the culture the the kind of social dynamics so let's say for example they read that Oh Mufti Abu layth went on holiday in August but five hundred years from today they have no understanding imagine the entire history more or less of the UK in the world as it is now had disappeared so they may assume that Oh so according
to Mufti going on holiday in August isn't is a great thing or it's something that he did with we can see you're in you're out he would go on holiday at this time but there was a context to that that these were actually summer holidays within which schools were off and everybody many people went on holiday it was it was something that was well from way before my time but to people 500 years from today when they have no history they just have my diary they may assume that I introduced this they may think that oh well oh that's a
trend that most evil 8th came up with but I did him I mean that's so what I'm trying to say is when we're reading into the serie and we're seeing words and we're seeing terms and we're seeing actions that were taken we don't have a context because because of so much of it having been blacked out so we're assuming that Islam introduced them so it's like that going back to that same and allergy that Oh mostly must have introduced this concept of going on holidays at this time so this term Jie Jie was something that was in operation
for at least one to two centuries if not more before Islam and it was something that the northern arab kingdoms were already practicing i mean it was a normal you know it's like today the term like saying embargo to place a kind of embargo or to place a sanction like the way the word sanction exists so if our world history was erased and only somebody heard about a particular thing a thousand years from today and they think oh well that regime introduced the term sanction and imposed it but that's not what actually you know
it was a common term that the whole world would embark and partake in so this is the same thing with jizya hence when the term jizya is only mentioned once in the quran once that but they must give you know hata you are told easier to anger them or whom serve they rule now this term is only used once with no explanation no context no by the way people this is what a jizya is because the people being addressed seem to have a very good idea of what GZA means they know they are familiar with
this term hence it's never used again so I think that's an very important right so that's a very important point to make and this thing about Brooke Islam Islam never came to take over the world this is a miss it's it's a very disappointing misinterpretation that unfortunately some people have Islam never came to take over if that was the case why would Islam tolerate Jews in Judaism and
Christianity and why would it say that yes you guys remain you know as Jews you guys remain as Christiane's you guys remain as this if it was about taking over it was never about that but yes it is true that Islam as far as world faiths are concerned from a objective standpoint one cannot deny that Islam pretty much sealed the deal that after Islam no world religion has ever taken off and even sociologists and
historians and people anthropologist and analysts and that speak on this when they are asked that do you think a world religion could emerge today for example and a world religion as far as a religion is concerned with a capital R I don't mean trends and things like these all ways of thinking but a world religion they will be very clear that no that that's not something that we feel could ever really happen now in fact it's a very interesting interview by Yuval Harare where he's asked the question it's on YouTube
and he's that do you feel there could ever be a world religion in new world religion and how and he's somebody an amazing analyst an amazing you know sociological anthropological analyst of our time I feel and and he's not a Muslim I mean he's is probably agnostic borderline atheist of Jewish origin now he when when he's asked that and he also concludes that look this market of religion is saturated you know there's no I mean there may be cults that emerge
or small religions but a word of a grand of a kind of grand scale of something that is of such a kind of global a force a kind of something that just really sweeps the globe and ever and people embrace it in in the millions that those days that that deal is sealed and that's I I would like to say I I mean it's difficult to say it's a fact what I would feel it's pretty factual and and Islam has you know as
objectively as well as we can be seal the deal on world faiths so yeah so that's my thoughts on that but we're not actually here to convert the world okay so the whole world is to be Muslim for example that's never to be somebody's asked do you ever feel like you're distorting Islam to fit in your own right your own modern stroke progressive stroke rational worldview because you go
against every mainstream position is that is that so well in that case as the verse of the Quran says were in total experimental art you'd be look answer Billy if you wanna go with the majority you will only be misled as a losses people God gave you a brain for a reason use it you know that that is the most
you know it's the most denigrating kind of form of a disent if you think a lack of achievement that you never in your life actually used your own brain it's like you know what do you feel is right or wrong and I'm trying to see if I can
just seeing if I can sorry people right wheeze they are I was trying to put that on silent for some reason it wasn't right just imagine that that you have to say now oh yeah what do I believe again I'm sorry what was the question what that's like saying oh yeah what kind of food do I liking it is what what flavors do I
that's some critical amnesia going on what do I believe again what am I suppose I'll be you know you've got an apple a mosses LeCompte Aki loon in the hope that you may use your intellect use it you know it's not why you've retained all this value you are you trying to save it from depreciating an unused brain this this one great value you know right so what is going on this Saab can
you talk about religious obsessions can you explain evil eye evil eye evil eye does not exist people leave la you la the pyramid does not exist these things are the evil eye when it was used historically it was simply synonymous with envy that's all it was the problem is to that extent it's fine so saying that the evil eye just means Envy it just means jealousy that that is
fine I mean there's no problem if that's what you're using the word to mean so for example when Allah says in the Quran that you seek refuge I mean surely has it in either hazard that from the refuge of the envious person jealous person as he is envying as he is in a state of jealousy now one may ask
but tell me what is the problem why do I need to seek refuge from his or her emotion if that person's burning up with jealousy that's their a state of mind why does it impact me why do I need to say women sherry has it in either Hasson why do I need to seek refuge because that's like saying because it's an internal oh I seek refuge from that person sadness or that person's temple that with their own emotions why do their emotions bother me the answer is
they don't but it's how they act out so in terms of consequences it's a problem so when a person is angry his anger is not them I mean it's a problem but it's not the anger per se that you are actually it's what the person will do as a result of that anger so the person gets angry so he hits you it's the acting out which is the consequences which are the problem hence Envy in and of itself is an internal emotion the
person is experiencing it it's not bothering me but it's how they act out so in that sense you are seeking refuge in Allah from the envious the jealous person as they are being jealous so if that's what you mean by evil I as in the person's looking at me with evil intent and therefore go so ago they try to I don't know do something about it or they and sometimes people do such things
subconsciously as well you know like they they they may kind of maliciously harm you in a subconscious way that's all fine but then there's another extended folkloric version of evil I like I say he and say evil eye evil eye evil eye and your also over the dilapidate or I say evil eye evil eye evil eye and you over there get cancer that kind of stuff is a stupid and as dumbest dupe against evil
eye if that's what's meant by evil eye that does not exist that's a absolute ridiculous story and then like I've said before they ought to be the they ought to be the beneficent I know you think so like I look at you and I think I do mind I mean when you've got cancer all of sudden your cancer is cured or I look at a dilapidated house and I do mm-hmm and all of a sudden the
dilapidated house fixes up in order to go both way they ought to swing in both directions and if not then this one big problem you know this on so why are we only inclined to evil and not towards good wise then God is being cruel so there's many problems you know with this belief so this is basically nonsense you don't need to believe in that imam hasan is in the house a Louis Allen those of you that don't know Imam Hassan crazy mom doing cross route work
in Gloucester in Gloucester is the law of attraction real okay that's interesting because the law of attraction can mean many things you see I so I'm not exactly sure what you mean what you have conceptualized when you're saying the law of attraction but there are many elements to things like the laws of attraction that are real and even testable and they've been tested scientifically and it depends once again what you're conceptualizing and what I can conceptualize
so sometimes you see what I'm conceptualizing is the vibe that kind of positive vibe that kind of happy-go-lucky that kind of and this seems to actually work you know and and you have like a hadith as well where that Allah treats a person as they expect to be treated and sometimes you have people who always kind of feel don't worry things will work out and and for them things always do work out and you have pessimists that are like oh oh my god oh my god and for them
everything's always going wrong and and and this is because it's a mindset you see and so you kind of develop this this kind of mindset which and there's been Studies on this so in fact I believe there was a if I'm if I recall correctly there was a BBC documentary as well that was looking into this kind of positivity versus negativity of mindset and they
took certain people and even though they had sold and there's certain things that they did but it's interesting how they did and certain things weren't manipulated obviously because it was a program but there was a test so they there was a certain point where they would they had left money for example on the floor like on the ground in certain place but the positive people would always find things like this and those who are pessimists didn't seem to find it and and there were other things as well I mean there was a whole
documentary on how obviously they didn't the person the positive present don't know that they you know the part of the program that they'd actually left money here but the point was to them in life things always you know they they always feel that they lucky but they feel oh I'm lucky and and and they seem to turn out to be lucky and it's an amazing so I think that part is true in the sense the mind is an incredible powerful thing and it ties into also confidence it ties into outlook of life your interaction with people sometimes I've you know it's like I've spoken to
people who will tell me sometimes that oh I had such a terrible experience and at a certain place like sometimes I did part of my degree with the Open University for example and people with their tutors and I remember people speaking to a few people who are having a terrible time a horrific time I mean I couldn't believe it because my experience with the Open University was out of this world and every time I call them it was amazing and I remember calling them saying oh I've lost all of this they're like no problem we'll send
you out free all the free books again I was like all right they were like I remember when I was doing it they were like so supportive they were like do you need a laptop I was like ah go on then they like will give you money to have a laptop we'll do this we'll do that I was like oh you guys are awesome and even throughout the course whenever I had issues with with we had to hand in assignments essays whenever I had an issue I would always just say eh you know just reach out to the tutor how you doing you know I've got this issue oh you couldn't possibly extend it for me a few days no problem
I've extended it for you and and I not speaking to certain people they they were failed off their course I didn't even know that you could get fit but they could actually fail I mean that's how helpful they were to me and this is an example I'm just saying that you could take a different scenario like airports for example we unfortunately there is a lot of profiling but I've noticed some people going through they have like a horrible time even when they are questioned and and I've been questioned on several occasions in fact not so long ago is coming back and I was being questioned but but it was still a very kind of pleasant I was just kind of
just joking along and cracking some jokes and but the point was that sometimes it's your own interaction that works up this entire so I do feel that the law of attraction if that's what you mean by does have some reality to it right okay come estas get tal Mustapha muy bien muy bien Arai let's see some questions lucky can't be denied can it no no no so I mean like that so I think people should and you know something this is interesting that
there's a hadith in Tirmidhi that the prophet salallahu alaihe salam can you had put the phone he would love for people to be optimistic and mechanic out the show and he would really dislike pessimism because when you are optimistic good things happen so yeah advice to help teens like me who have strict Islamic fathers roughy saying lots of love from Canada likewise right back at ya Ruffy shukran shukran what do
you make of Boris mrs. Cobb in so many questions oh somebody responded tell daddy to go away I don't really see parenting I don't know what it's so difficult I think I think we spend our entire lives really maybe trying to recover from the damage our parents have done whilst we were children but they may you know I feel that the role of the profile of
parents in a child no matter how old the child is I mean even as a man or as a woman that the profile and I mean by this the archetypal profile like in the mind of a parent for the child like in the child's mind will always have an incredibly profound impact and I feel that people will throughout their lives either try to seek the you
know the kind of they will try the I think they will want the kind of authentication if you like validation from the appearance they will always kind of seek that or some people may suffer from resentment because they felt that they couldn't seek that maybe at a deep subconscious level and I don't but from an Islamic viewpoint I think it's always it is incredibly important to always maintain a healthy bond
especially as you grow older too to kind of try and take care to help in whatever way you can your parents and I feel that there is you know by doing so there is this kind of Boracay the Islamic term Baraka that this kind of what we are speaking about this positivity that will permeate your life will permeate you know if you if it's for example giving like let's say let's say money for example financial assistance like giving you'll see money kind of coming in so means so you know
so much more of it from so many sources as Allah says in the Quran you know that your superhuman hates Allah that Allah will give them in hey surah yaseen from where this person cannot even envisage so I do feel that that is tried and tested so definitely from that side but the question of what do you do growing up and struggling because there's that teenage phase where I haven't got any teenage children yet thank God
so but that that's something I dread the thought of you know that kind of rebellious age where they hate [Laughter] [Music] trust me I think you should meet up with I think you should meet up with Mufti mink oh sure why not why not but would mostly mink wanna meet up if yes then Alamos Alan Shahana Tweenies are worse
yeah I mean that's what I mean that that kind of young teenage III just ready Hungary mine are very young yet but I dread that thought of you know I think maybe if we could just freeze them I like age five just freeze put in a refrigerator just keep on me [Laughter] or maybe exchange them for a pet do you think humans will become an inter
planetary species yeah I I feel we will you know I feel we will did I did I mention last time about Elon Musk's tweet from August where he said nuke Mars and I think it's actually a fascinating idea thinking about it I was first like what the hell is this guy on then I watched the interview and the theory behind it and actually makes a lot of sense that if they were to nuke Mars this there's a certain amount of they could they've there's there's like
an Arctic section with all this kind of ice frozen up with and I think it may be carbon gases and things that have kind of turned into ice and but by nuking it they could actually trigger and change the atmospheric reality of Mars creating a self-imposed greenhouse effect that could turn the planet quite green and blue within like maybe a century or two at least and that's just amazing the thought of that and Elon Musk was making a claim that he has oh you know
he was speaking about certain like spacecraft spaceships you know the space rocket spacecraft that that were nuclear-powered that could take you to Mars within a hundred days and some of his spacecraft NASA was saying oh they'd like to use it on the next and you're thinking wait a minute this is an individual you guys are a goddamn a government based agency what the hell have you guys been doing just been playing notes and crosses what have you been doing for the past so why are you
borrowing Elon Musk's technology but anyway yeah so what else is going on which scholar did the biggest damage to Islam oh oh what a question I don't I don't know I think there's so many people that have harmed Islam it all depends on your perspective you see to some people maybe they may think I'm harming Islam so it depends on your perspective where you stand to me this this I don't know if some people have
done just pure harm but maybe they harm outweighs their good and I feel people like in somewhat because there's always going to be some good you know you can see always a silver lining to certain things I mean if you just look at people like given the taymiyah for example who in many ways is a great he was a great thinker as well like some aspects of his thought were great these kind of thinking of welfare and stuff like this but it's almost like he had schizophrenia because one side of him is
this maniac kind of side where everybody's a deviant deviant deviant hardline like a very kind of like a separatist inclusion East way of thinking and yes from one angle he's always trying to think about wealthy all we should make life easy we should it's it's it's like a Jekyll and Hyde kind of you know scenario going on so I'm not but I think some aspects of even at say Mia's thoughts have unfortunately done a lot of damage because they've been used by people like
Mohammed ibn Abdul Wahhab Mohammed Abdel Wahab is another I think a you know more damaged much more damaged than much more harm than good I'm sure he did some good but I'm just giving an example but once again inspired by his hero even at a mia and then the Salafi movement you have today which is a result of these two really so and the Salafi movement today has this dominated the internet so if you're looking for an Islamic answer on something it's like
the rest of the Muslim world seemed to be bloody like that like we're on yeah you got Institute's there are over a thousand years old like hell as hard like as a tuna in Tunis like a car Amin and they don't even have a functioning website like a reasonably functioning like where you can look up questions type quick they know even up that I mean you're a thousand that's like saying Oxford how does this happen
so the greatest of three most ancient classical centers of learning in the world today Islamic world which are the Caribbean you know say tuna alas how these three they don't even have a functioning website this skull is nobody even okay as her some has some media and stuff like that as a tuna nobody's even heard of say tuna anymore they just a useless they like the worst people who have inherited a legacy totally useless
I mean gone are the days of if not sure and you know boo solemn and all those great legends and and that's not even that's like the beginning of the 20th century so it's not even that long ago and they're useless they're more redundant than a bloody Polytechnic College or something would be more functional and much have much more clout than them and how do we II seem to just be is that's redundant unfortunately is they've got some very like a flat
brochure website and I think it's mainly in French it's like who the hell speaks French well yes so this this is it's a shame really and salafiyyah have dominated the internet I was wondering they were rewarded well for this with all the oil they were but it's not just the oil it's also the mindset look it doesn't cost much money for a powerful
Institute like a less hard to have a bloody decent website you know what kind of you know for an institute of that proportion it's a huge University kind of thing it's not a you know they I don't think money is the issue but sometimes it's it's also having a bit of brains and like I don't I'm not saying that they haven't got any brains but they don't they don't see a bigger picture or they can't be bothered with a bigger picture
why does Allah send you why does Allah send you to hell for not believing in him or worshipping isn't he supposed to be large hearted you see this is another interesting right I hadn't realized these comments had moved on right you see this is another interesting point that who says that Allah has to send people to hell Allah can do as he pleases just because this there are threats in the Quran but that doesn't mean that they have to be carried out that you have sometimes in certain a kind of impetus to do things
because that's what will get people motivated you have that but many people have written people like folklore Dino Rossi and many of the great Muslim Sunni theologians have written that if Allah wants everybody can you know there doesn't have to be punishment for anybody oh okay nobody has to go to hell for this belief in this doesn't have to be the case it's not something that is set in stone la Mahalo you know like in Arabic it's not it's not like that yes there are threats in the Quran and hence there's this discussion of hopeful ye can Allah go
back as in not fulfill a threat and not acting out on a threat is still seeing as an act of nobility it's not seen as a kind of OMA like not fulfilling living up to a promise is not the same as not acting out on a threat so this discussion already exists in the Acne the text books it's not something new and Muslims have spoken about it Allah Himself says in the Quran what money if I don't love you either become you know what is a lot to gain by punishing me so this is not so I don't feel that it's
necessarily a done deal I just feel that these there is this language and rhetoric in the Quran but that's the kind of religious rubric that is used alright what else to say as I make a fat was to say that the women tots if another man can what that you can the woman taught what you can't say you can the woman tots if another man wants to be alone with her you can
say a woman fought tots I don't know what street slang this is when a woman tots that means all right we get Dan Hardin sent send a video link to whatever talk
what's your view right can you speak about free will yes we will go thoughts on Habib's fight move T all right let's speak about this let's speak about these people very quickly I'm not actually into watching sports I don't actually follow sports in that sense I guess I'm utterly boring for people who are sports fans I just don't find honestly I don't find fast like I could watch I suppose I could watch a boxing match or a UFC match if like I was watching it like if people were then I was watching
I could wear as I couldn't even watch things like football or cricket I just couldn't watch him because to me that is so boring but I could watch some something like UFC or boxing but I'm not motivated to watch it so if it wasn't just happening I wouldn't go out of my way to ever watch it I just don't find it it just doesn't resin like I carry I mean don't don't get me wrong I mean I I'd like to watch highlights of some things the key things that we the the main action is happening but I'm not interested in the whole that said this Habib thing I'd like to speak about
right so cubby now I'm sure he's a great sportsman you know in his own field undefeated I assume I could be wrong I'm not clued up on on on the UFC thing but uh and I mean the guy used to wrestle with B's what more can be said but there's this absurd absurd notion that somehow supporting Habib is being Islamic let me
get this clear Habib has nothing to do with Islam in that sense huh I mean in his personal life is a Muslim and I'm sure he's a great Muslim may be a much better Muslim than me but he as a sportsman has nothing to do with it he's not represent repping Islam even though he does I get the fact that he does say things like in sha allah and he popularizes this and sure that's great that's great but it doesn't mean that there's some kind of divine the hand of God is protecting Habib that's absurd that is the most dumbest thing I've
heard you know somebody maybe mater was heed they were discussing this they're sharing all these kind of statuses social medias say people saying all the reason why Allah didn't allow Habib to be defeated was because simply because his name is the name of the Messenger of Allah and Allah won't allow that name to be defeated and you're like what on earth are you want about me I mean half the bloody Pakistan team is named Muhammad Pakistan cricket team so
what are you on about that if you've got the name Muhammad you can never go undefeated of course thinking of running the hole every other Pakistani is named Muhammad right that this is a ridiculous kind of way of thinking that look I'm sure the guy is is undefeated because he's good okay because he's good at what he does not because he just got a name called Habib look at the logic of Muslims like you see this is what I mean this is where unfortunately religion makes some people dumb like a normal person would be like
wow you know this guy's so talented look how he does this oh he's got great stamina always got great technique always got great I don't know like footwork or he's got great locks and holds and great strength to him rigor and and they kind of analyzing his techniques he's always cautious with his opponents and things like this this is how a normal human would be analyzing this and a Muslim would be like of martial law his name is Habib he cannot be defeated because that is the nub of
the the Prophet any brother see Wow it's not fair this is it's not fair that we as Muslims are disproportionately like kind of represented by retards it's just not fair honestly like I get the fact there's gotta be a certain percentage in every community but we're kind of like
disproportionately kind of like handicapped it's just unfair so what are some questions answer my question how true is this hadith leave things behind me too heavy things or arnhem my family ah right okay what does Allah mean when he says Muslims in surah kahf right okay this is an interesting one
surah kahf where it mentions about little qarnain I'd like to first of all just address this little qarnain Coran okay they say there's a surah surah kahf not off this sort of path which is a shorter more rhythmic surah samake surah and they saw a calf which means the cave so the calf not off okay so and this is to do with the the young man who resorted to the cave who most likely were in petra most likely and hence in the verse of the quran I'm her
septum and a cybercafe war-themed & rakim is one of the old names for Petra or Rakeem Cato mean I Athena I Jabbar oh did you think that the people of the cave and of rakim were an amazing sign from us so I think that's so it has the story in it but it mentions other kind of stories and narratives and it's to do with some Jewish people most likely this is one of the popular backdrops to it that they approached the prophet and said oh if you are the prophet of God
then we have some questions for you tell us about this zul qarnain and those qarnain means the one of two horns and then they asked about the people who went to the cave and tell us about the ROI the soul and the last is about the soul volley a roof I mean every rupee that this is from either the matter of my lord or the command of my lord because a mark can mean both in Arabic armor is also a command like an tap mode or a mark like a the the matter what's the matter like the matter of something
so that the Roar is from the matter or the command of the Lord and Rama ulti terminally-ill me in lapa Lila and you only have you have very restricted knowledge of it and in my understanding I feel that the roar is consciousness okay and I feel that we do have a kind of a kind of unified field of consciousness which like a kind of social network of consciousness that connects us all at some level and hence the Haditha lry renewed imagine a de that the raw are
kind of batched together connected entities that matter Arafah mean ha telephone matter are effeminate telephoto Martin Academy next elephant and when whatever kind of day was it didn't gel well together those people didn't seem to get on and those that did gel well together they seem to get on as well I mean I'm not exactly sure that what this hadith may have greater realities to it but my point is so the this thing on Rohan consciousness then there was this story of Alec of sorry
what some people of the car main some kind of ruler who seems to be a very successful or powerful ruler and he goes off and he seems to approach these people and and he goes and he travels basically and deals with certain things and now the first question is who is the car named so some people assumed it was Alexander the Great and this is nonsense okay this is nonsense although look Alexander was a great ruler I'm sure he was in his own way I'm
sure he got up to the you know the naughty naughty which he did but that said which ruler doesn't can one rule without indulging so Alexander the Great I mean he to say he was little color main I mean we do you get this from and just because people likes you D and these kind of people said it it doesn't make it so ok like they just try to guess that whoop who was a popular King that ruled so well and I know maybe I
was Lokar nein maybe it meant alexander the one who owned the you know the east and the west and i don't know but this is not an authentic interpretation some people said it was referring to an ancient Arab from the southern Arabian kingdoms and it may have been referring to them because it's and the point is it didn't say anyway that he had to have ruled the entire world it didn't say that in the quran except it just speaks about his rule where he did rule he had this kind of power and this kind of and he was a very kind of wise and thorough
person that's all and yeah so this it mentions that he goes he travels had a double allah he reaches what is it ma classrooms now the point from sunrise now some people thought he actually reaches like the he reaches where the sun comes out of and with the sun sets so there's a verse that when he reaches the sunset for what did the heart opera buffa einen homina he saw is set into a murky water
now some people assume that the that this was oh the Sun actually sets in this swamp and comes out of this swamp that's ridiculous and seriously people in the past were not that dumb generally speaking even pre Islam Irish total and these people had spoken about planetary motions and stars and it's spoken about things like how the Sun and the earth and they didn't think that the Sun is in the earth in some kind of swamp and emerges from a swamp and so sometimes you get X Muslims or atheists or that
try to make a point of this and it's not true this is very clear his description he reaches sunset and watches it set like he watch his sunset that's all so it's like if I said oh I watched sunset at this seaside that's exactly what I'm doing I'm watching sunset it doesn't mean that the sun's actually sets into the sea and that's all it was because and at that location something happens and he speaks about that so that's what it is just to clarify that little car name is not Alexander the Great
okay cool all right next question people there was a few interesting questions in between these slip ma somebody had asked about okay this Martha manned our Chiron because right now Muharram is is in motion and some people may be looking at are sure at the tenth day of Muharram so what are our thoughts first of all about this I think this is a very interesting discussion right so let's let's focus on this discussion people its zoning I'm
gonna want you to pay attention because this discussion also highlights maybe how we how some of our narratives on Islam origin is far more raging theories may not be always very precise and it shows that so it's worth kind of focusing on this right so what is a sure our first of all so our our is the tenth day of Muharram and this term in Arabic are sure on if it's is like it fits on a
pattern but it's route is from the term asha so our shoe raw so the iron sheen our raw and this means in arabic ten ishara so Ashura is ten and and that hence it's the tenth day of Muharram and this seems to be a significant date for many reasons multiple reasons like obviously further to the Shiites very it's a it's very dear date because of the martyrdom of Hussein Rodya lon is on the 10th of muharram it's on our
Syrah and there are other teachings and guidances within Islam within mainstream Islam about our our being a special day and the Prophet asking many people to fast on our our so what is all of this about right well what we have is we have many hadith by many companions I shadowed a love on her even norm our morale even a pass if gaba musa al-ashari salman ilaqua
you've got enormous rude you've got row but yeah been tomorrow with jabber even a samara and others okay so that's already just right the nine a hadith quoted that speak about the prophet encouraging people to fast on a Shura one thing is clear this seems to have been some significance to this date now we're gonna get to what that significance was in a moment but I just want to put that there for now right there was some significance to
this date we come to learn that this and we're gonna come back to the significance we come to learn that there was definitely an emphasis from the Prophet sallallaahu a leave us alone too fast on this date and Muslims early Muslims practice T then there's a lot of hadith that seemed to teach that this was then abrogated by Rama bon the holy month of Ramadan for fasting abrogated it cancelled out any prior fasts
okay which was like the fast of Ashura the 10th of Muharram and this seems to be the mainstream Muslim view that Ramadan definitely seems to have superseded our show and there's some people may have fasted on the rajab ER on the other kind of enricher but other dates as well but definitely are sure are and it seems to have been kind of superseded by ramadan then the question is well prior to ramadan was it what was the nature of that fast some people felt it was
obligatory almost like were jim if not forth and amongst them like a malleable honey fights attributed to and some others others felt that it was just strongly emphasized by the prophet prior to ramadan after ramadan the majority of all muslims will accept that it's definitely permissible to fast on our children and if not it can be a good thing sure because it's got some virtues of the prophets saying that fast on this day you know teaching it so it's definitely fine to do if not good because fasting is an act of worship
which is always good so because it falls under the generic rulings of fasting is always good it's for Allah and things like this that you will get like an immense reward etc so it's a good thing now the question is okay first of all okay so that we've got that next what days should these people fast those who are going too fast what days should they fast so they can fast on the tenth which is the 10th of Muharram the problem is some people believe that they ought to fast on the 9th as weird as that sounds even though it's called our
shorter but they feel that it's actually moved to the 9th because there's a hadith of even our birth early lawn where he says that the Prophet says that this is a day that the Jews and the Christians venerate for their carnal Armel mockable so from the net when the next year arrives the Prophet said sooner we will fast at ursa the ninth now according to this hadith and even our buses but the following year the Prophet passed away so we never got to do that so some
people like even has them felt that because the Prophet said it moved to the ninth okay other people felt that no what this meant was that we won't fast a single day like the Jews and the Christians we will merge it into two days which can either be the ninth and the tenth like many of the Maliki ER and other people said oh it can be the tenth and the eleventh like some people said oh you can just fast the tenth on its own okay so we've got that kind of a view as well so even if you do fast it on its own
it's not ma kuru as many of the Maliki I have said the chef yeah I've said the Hanavi laughs said the humbly mother even people like even a taymiyah said that even had Jill hey Tommy said that but some of the Hannah Thea do feel that you shouldn't single it out so if you're gonna foster you should fast two days that's what some of the Hanif you feel all right so this is all as interesting as this stuff is and this by the way this are sure are that you know this this is all fine but we need to know what is the importance of this day so let's now come back to that topic of
the significance and here it gets interesting it seems to be popular that this is was taken from the Jews and the Christians and this is Yom Kippur so you know young the Jewish people have Yom Kippur and I know it's not on the Ashura because the Jewish people and as did the Arabs in the time of the Prophet they had a solar lunar calendar not just a lunar calendar but afterwards Muslims seem to have left that and they just took stuck to a lunar calendar but an actual calendar ought to have been solar
lunar as the Jewish people have it so and this is how the ancient Arabs did have it in line with the Jewish Israelite kind of structures that they would basically they would go by the moon but the way we have a leap we have a leap here has an extra day in February the 29th what they would do is every certain years like let's say three years not precisely but within averaging every three years they would add an extra month which was called the mercy in Arabic and some people called it
they had other names like the Cubs or the names for it but it was generally cooled in the sea and the Jewish people call it something else now this would realign the whole calendar so the months would be static they would kind of stay and this would have an entire cycle of 19 years so it wouldn't be always every third year it would be the third year the third year then the second year then the third year then the second year and they would have a 19-year cycle and every 19 years it's perfect and this is why the Muslims didn't carry on with it because one there was some confusion and
two it took a lot of dedication and then as you as you will away the Muslim expansion straight after not straight after but shortly after Omar Abdullah table the Aloha and into half way interest manner of the lunchtime things became very turbulent politics went really nasty and they were and then you've got the whole fighting and then Ali's time or the Elan was just full of fighting and civil fighting and infighting and then after that and so there was so many you know it was like a roller coaster ride that nobody was gonna be documenting the years like this
like nineteen years to recalibrate nobody had that this this so this was just so what happened was the Muslim calendar just started to go into free fall this free spin right so that's so that's the the the question of right so what was the significance of our of Ashura it seems to be popular that Muslims took this from the Jews and the Christians that this was Yom Kippur this was the day that God saved the Israel I and you know Moses decided to fast now
this is really only taught to us by even our birth through the Aloha and there is another narration as well from abu musa al-ashari and i'll come to that but even our birth of the Alliance seems to be the main person teaching this that oh this was something the Prophet took from the Jews because Moses fasted this day and the Prophet said NACO be Muslim income we are more deserving of following Moses but the truth is this this does not stand ok upon closer scrutiny first of all even our bercy's
narrations seem to be conflicting first he says this one narration these are all in pretty much in Bukhari and Muslim in 1 narration in Buhari if Narberth says that oh when the Prophet went to Medina he found the Jews fasting and in some eration that mentions the Jews of Heber that they would be especially that they would be fasting on the Day of Ashura and the Prophet said Mahathir are sure of what is he so he doesn't even seem to know what it is and they said how they yawn but this is a day that God saved the Israelites in it so moosa fasted and
the prophets at all in that case we should fast so he said to the Muslims tsumo antim you guys should fast this is taught by evening bus who then also teaches the hadith that oh if not a bus I sorry he teaches that the Prophet came to learn that the Jews and the Christians venerate our Shura so he said oh when it's the next year coming here we will fast the 9th instead of the 10th oh the ninth and the tenth however you want to interpret it but he passed away under the prophets Allah listen does not make it to the following year now you
see that's odd so wait a minute so the Prophet didn't know that the Jews and the Christians venerate this day until his final year or was it the first year according to him now bus when and the truth is if not burst this this is not true because even our birth or the Elan was a very young boy and he doesn't doesn't actually when see when the Prophet was in Mecca because if we're looking at it now versus age it's very young and he spends such a short time with the Prophet he does not live
in Medina he lives in Mecca it's only after muck has been liberated and come and the conquest of Makkah that he joins the Prophet for a short period of time that's it so when if a bus is saying this he's either assuming this oh he's you know that's his interpretation but it's not accurate how do we know this because there's many other narrations you have somebody share of the law and you have by Abdullah Thomas author of the long runs you've got many generations that speak and
highlight that the Quraysh in Mecca would venerate the Day of Ashura so this was a tradition from Makkah before the Hegira that was already a holy day and it was kinda yeomen to still feel Kaaba that the Kaaba used to be closed that they would put the cloth the kiswa upon the cabin now I think they do an RFI mainly but at that time they would do it on Ashura and they would fast to commemorate that and this was the pagan Arabs would do it and this was a holy day when the Muslims
moved to Medina they kept this general practice of fasting on Ashura and whether the Jews a coincided or not is another investigation but it's not true that this was learnt from the Jews because there are many narrations and even even a high german fatality and other people will demonstrate these are the narrations that grace used to venerate the 10th of muharram it was already a holy day a significant day of great symbolic value for the non-muslim pagans of
Makkah so it's interesting and and this once again it goes back to what I was saying that our understanding of Islam origin theories may need to be slightly recalibrated like we've got a lot of things and we've drawn a neat picture but some of it may not be as we think I mean it's not a I don't think it's a shattering deal it's not something that's like oh such like so traumatic but it is important to understand and why is this important because this will
show us that the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam wasn't actually so you see Islam wasn't hateful to the culture around it when it emerged Islam emerged in the culture of the Arabs of of Hage's so even our Shura was a practice of the Arabs of hechas non-muslim non-biblical the pagan Arabs but it was a special day it's like in America I mean we don't have this here in the UK but they they
have like a Thanksgiving now and whatever the background I mean I'm not a I don't want to go into that what the Thanksgiving is about but it's not meant to in essence although it's got religious connotations to it but it's not meant to be a religious kind of thing in essence that's my assumption people may disagree with me but I feel that it's a special day they've got so people like let's say for Americans now went somewhere else they may find a certain culture you know having some significance at that time of the year and kind of calibrated because to them
this was already a day of some sentiment so in that same way right we see that Islam in oh geez in this atmosphere and it's not actually kind of bitter or hateful or resentful towards the culture around it in fact embraces it but it just kind of just separates it dissociates it from the pagan gods that's all but keeps the sentiment and I find that really interesting and fascinating and I think with time what happened is some Muslims
maybe were uncomfortable with that so they kind of leaned in on other interpretations that actually no it only retained the the sentiments of the people of the book and hence there's a spin on always trying to kind of like Biblos you know this kind of trying to always take the judeo-christian lens the kind of tint on everything but the truth is that many of these things were not judeo-christian I mean that may have kind of merged with judeo-christian practices as well but they weren't
exclusive so things like this things like the occupy that the Muslims took on was just a pagan practice and so and I find that quite refreshing because I see that what Islam did was it got rid of the harm which was like the what it saw this culture or this dark culture of superstition and oppressive kind of creeds and false weird kind of belief systems it got rid of that but it kept the sentiments for a community
because the community valued those those dates that culture and and in that is it's refreshing how we should engage in our culture we do we don't need to freak out with dates like people say oh oh my god it's it's Christmas for example it's a festive time of the year and oh no oh my god you can't do anything it's Oh people are having over on Halloween or any kind of dates that have some significance in our culture and people feel that oh we have to make a per hour of protest kind of completely boycott these things and that's not actually
true so I hope that makes some sense but I thought that was really important to speak about the Asscher are so I mean it's those are people that are fasting it's absolutely fine too fast it's recommended just as far as general fasting is recommended I don't think personally the day had too much significance I don't feel it did I feel that some people feel this is the day that Moses this was Yom Kippur for example but I don't think that necessarily if that was a coincidence perhaps but I don't think that's the
case I think it was just that the the Hejaz Arabs had a sentiment for this date this was the date that they would reclose the Kaaba and they would fast and and when Muslims migrated they carried those values but they dissociated the ship and then the Prophet just he continued because fasting was a good thing anyway he was dedicated to Allah so he encouraged it and then Ramadan began and he kind of like cancelled down people stopped and hence the hadith that able mustard this is a hadith that I think his name is
place of Merthyr beads he approaches sorry Allah Allah are technically space he approaches of the lagna Masood and he's eating and he says to him has he says to him either you you know has a Yamaha shoe wrong and and Abdullah Mossad says and what and he says but you meant to be fasting and he and Abdullah promised order of the Ilan says that was in fact his actual wording is he says keine you son that people would fast cobbler a ends in Ramadan before Ramadan
began and was and camp was revealed phenomena sell when Ramadan was revealed right tariqa he says tariqa so mashallah that people abandoned fasting on ashram so i think that some hope that makes some sense and it helps some of you out there let's move on to some other questions Oh on that note I want to say about the Shia martim and things I mentioned this last week look I do disagree strongly with this whole martim thing
Martin being the the kind of and especially the what they have the pop beer the kind of hitting themselves and ya Hussain ya Hussain all that kind of stuff I find it very very coltish and I don't I don't think in my understanding it resonates with any Islamic values I know several Shia scholars do condemn it as well but I think the barbarism some of it shows towards Islam it really does harm massively harms Islam I saw a clip check this out people I saw a viral clip they seemed like I don't know I think
they were iraqi shiaa that's what they seemed like a lot of it may have been me I don't think it was Iran they seemed Iraq they seemed Arabs but they were kind of doing the math I'm Yahoo saying y'all saying well that and what happened is one of the guys gets a gun and he loads it and the other one he's kind of like getting ready like y'all saying yeah I was saying I was saying and and he's obviously he's got no top on and they come and he's like and that's part of the actual ritual he shoots him in in
the gut and the lower what is he I think the left hand side just lady shoots him right there and they like and he takes it as part of the and he's like it's like yeah yeah and then they're like then they just kind of hug him y'all saying y'all saying how thinking what the hell was that what on earth was that seriously that was the dumbest thing I've ever seen
which idiot just he just got himself shot and the other guy and I'm thinking the other guy was like oh yeah mind it up yeah suck it up y'all sing and he's going up to the other guys yeah saying I'm thinking well I'd like to see you shoot yourself sorry shooting the other guy why do you shoot yourself so I honestly I just this was a viral clip it was really disappointing to see and I know that look I think this is my I could be wrong but I think many she is not I may even think most but I don't think many Shia
would be really disappointed that seeing things like that I I assume okay and I hope I am right because that kind of stuff really distorts the image of Islam so I condemn that kind of stuff alright so let's move on to some other questions right what else what is bothering what is preoccupying your creative minds method what is going on
they believe Hussein suffered for them like Christians but yeah I do feel that there is this you know in that in the Shia narrative there is this thing on you know because a lot of religions do have that about trying to bring in tragedy and the concept of tragedy and I've got a whole separate clip discussing why I feel this year our Moon the tragedy of Karbala as if from a narrative perspective and I go into that so you can watch that on YouTube what are your opinions on the claim that the peaceful verses are abrogated Hanna
Bartok I mean that's I'm not sure what peaceful verses we're talking about just to be specific because I'm sure there's so many peaceful verses in the court happened I don't know you know a lot saying you know a lady Holika Holika ma filthy jamia and he created everything for you on this you know green earth and that's a nice peaceful verse I don't know what I mean I'm sure there's many verses in the Quran there are just nice peaceful verses but no I don't feel any of them I broke hate it I don't know which fool would say that I'm tired of asking him Travis ki Zhang da says I'm
tired of ask him tired all right so a young man from up north battling the issues that are being faced by the Muslim youth so it is definitely a difficult task he's following one's desire ship this is you know it's so you know religious people in this concept of
desires is so absurd of course following your desires is not of course it isn't now people if you mean the verse that after I ate so many Tejada law says do you see the person who took his desire as his Lord as is God and so on and he kind of led him to destruction and so on but that's that's just allegorically speaking in the sense that people they plummeted by desires like as if they worship it's not actually saying that
they actually thought they were gone like the person did like if a person became so greedy he didn't care about anybody anything became ruthless just off let's say it's just off the money money money money money money and don't really care people suffer you know make products children can dolly I don't really care you know they can like let's say he's making certain foods I don't care if it has this reaction I don't care if he does this I just want to make money money you know it's as though he's just worshiping money that that aspect
of his desire he's taken it to be a God and devoted himself to it so but that doesn't mean that he literally worships money but in in a social sense we would say yes this person worships this that's what it is it's not a literal reading of that so somebody said that the verses of abrogation if they were asking about if the sword verse no look even if you look at the verse of the Quran ordinal in
lovina the Limu that Allah speaks about it as now that they've been given permission that those people who have been oppressed that they can that they can take up arms that they can fight I mean that doesn't abrogate any verses of peace you know they were there were times that the Prophet had peace he had truce you know sort of heard a beer for example and there were times when they were come there was conflict it doesn't mean that you know that this it's only either-or like I suppose it depends on
context that right what else is going on how can you face the caribiner Saphira cool this is only possible in a flat flat earthers are a new breed a special kind of dumb
there are special kind of stupid you know to be a flat earth it's like it's like in an intelligent kind of stupid like so you know amongst a stupid people you'd have the those that are the
intelligent amongst the stupid amazing to see what their kind of theories must be like right so right some people have a because it's just stupid honestly look even in Aristotle's time before Jesus
even prior to Aristotle pre Socrates as well some of the pre-socratic philosophers but definitely Aristotle because he wrote expansively on it they wrote how the earth is it's round it's not they knew that then before Jesus was born opinion and now when we've got actual space technology these guys now wanna invest time in movie flirtin and and the dumb thing is they don't think the rest of the planets are flat they think the rest of the planets
are are spherical because you can see them so they don't think they don't think the moon is flat for example they just think all these things are spherical but the earth is just like a a queen it's just a coin just going around like a queen I mean that is the dumbest most I don't even know what to say but yeah and when you look at Irish total when you look at people like that how they justified the earth being round it's really amazing that back then I mean before Jesus these people were
speaking about when you observe a lunar eclipse you see and when the earth comes in the way blocking obviously this the sunlight from reflecting from the moon you see if you watch it gradually some of the lunar eclipses you will see the shape of the earth and they saw that but if it was flat it would be like by this it wouldn't be you know like round and this was one of the evidences in addition to other evidences that they you know three four hundred years over three hundred years before Jesus were
talking about this and writing about it and then you've got people in 2019 and then you've got Muslims that get on to it the only reason the flat-earthers exists is just to justify the Bible you know the Old Testament and some versions I mean some kind of readings of it to say well because they feel the earth is flat just to justify that that's all but yes so right now right facing the kaabah how do you face the Kaaba if it's a
globe yes that's true but you have to remember that we speak from a human relativist perspective okay now from a human relativist perspective we are surrounded like we don't see and observe the world in that way we don't observe it from outer space that oh look the world is like this it's a ball and oh it's you know it's whatever a ting that kind of shapes a very cliche and it's got this we don't observe it like that we observe directions we observe things around so obviously a lot is not going to address us in an
astronomical sense as though we're sitting on Saturn observing Earth from a far distance we're going to be addressed in our own way because otherwise if you think about it look if we think about it what is up what is down I mean there is no if the earth is just spinning as it is let's say in the solar system now I know when we think of the earth let's say this is the earth and we're gonna think well that's up and that's down but how do you know that like let's say that's a that's a bad that's gonna give the Flat Earth as a field day right so far I haven't got anything here to right
now that's too flat I don't want to use anything - all right let's go with this people I'm gonna have to make a ball out of these right so so if that's Oh and that's down but what's to say that it's the Earth's not going that way and everything spinning that way and it's not what's to say because what is up like if you're out if you're in space there is no up and down there is no you know in a bigger sense of things it's only relative to us that we see up as that and down that way so everything is
relative to our vantage point our perspective so when we when Muslims are given a point a Qibla a direction to to kind of prey in they're just given a direction of the of the Kaaba of Makkah it doesn't mean a by the way you know there's gonna be a northern hemisphere southern I mean it just means that you just have a direction and you just pray just a point of unification that's all right okay if God is above us no God is not above us like that it doesn't that's a very Salafist way of thinking of things it's very you know it's a very
silly absurd way of thinking that God has a direction that's just absurd I mean that's for like you know what I call the see the seller fees in apt either when it comes to beliefs the seller fees are like the you know like how you having a schooling system you have like this great and there's like great this classes but they have like gradation they have levels and you might have like set one which I like sometimes the gifted and talented and you have like amongst them and you have set two and set three and set for and set five some depending you might have more
depending on the schools and then you have like the what I would call the sunshine group so the seller fees when it comes to a fee that they like the sunshine group they like the special needs of like this just do Karine I paid that today we got the name a log in a
color it's ridiculous I mean they either just could not float in this day and age come on I mean to believe in things like God has two right hands he has one leg one foot what kind of a disfigured handicap kind of image are they trying to put into our minds I mean then and then they try and tell us that God
that's absurd of course that's not God right that would be right so do me a favor watch how do Jin's live in this world mmm watch the Jimmy Swaggart debate anak Medina I did watch that I don't know if you're talking to me or to somebody else but yeah to be honest if it is true that the prophets grandsons did wear earrings like to see how they looked with the beard and Thorburn yeah I mean people like imam hussein rudely Allah on imam hasan the Crimson's of the prophet wore earrings hence
people look out of love in my malik Warren earring Allah used to wear it to class when he would study hadith sophiana the great Mahad this the great scholar and when he would sit in what is it I'm written a when he was sitting a great great happy this is a great Harvey this isn't just a you know it's the leading scholars of Makkah in the udders of hadith you'd sit there and you would have an earring on but and I've got a
very detailed video on that so if you have a feeling curious and bored do you watch it there's a lot of research that is gone into it research you know this one watch out for mobile is a deal Bundy informant ah in pharma it's all good man people can watch it you know I have so many of my haters watching me but I I like it good people it surprises me because if I didn't like somebody I I couldn't stand to watch them but people
very vigilantly religiously watch me they observe my words they analyze what I have to say Gibby Kemal today Kemal what is here wasn't it the son of Imam Ali Imam Malik son Warren earring is Robert Imam Malik is world war an earring in his especially when he was a student he would wear earrings I mean maybe as a you know much late and
they might say look they might say that maybe as an older man he took it out he may have I don't know he may have taken it out as an older older man but the point isn't about did he take it out or weary or the point was he obviously didn't consider it Haram so that was the point and about Imam Hussain or the Elan they they mentioned that even as a senior man I mean in Karbala the youth the stories will mention how when they did you know catch Imam Hussain and they you know they attacked him and try to
beat him up and and the whole thing and before the actual tragedy the final you know the kind of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain rodeo on that at that time the descriptions will mention that as he fell because the Imam Hussain had two earrings and they the descriptions actually mentioned as he kind of fell his earrings were kind of like dangling that they were shaking and several of the descriptions mentioned that about Imam Hussain I know people might say that look over some of these a lot of these descriptions they don't come from so many sources and stuff like this or the narrators might be problematic but
that's not something that they would just make up like that like that's like because it's so irrelevant to make up it shows it's it's kind of truthfulness because it's not something that they goes either way like it's not something that they would say because even if you're gonna say oh the the Sunnis made it up as a propaganda they didn't make it up as a propaganda and a lot of the people transmitting it were from the Shia to Ali the Shia and why would they make this up it doesn't make any sense so so yeah so that kind of shows how
it's more most likely truthful you see okay so what else is bothering the people what somebody had asked about the politics in the UK people the politics in the UK is going mad honestly I do not know what is gonna happen honestly I I just think that look Brix is a nightmare I think Cameron was an absolute idiot for offering it I think he had no idea that he would actually be taken up this is like an absolute fool isn't it he will say something and think ah nobody's
gonna bother and then there you go it's like I'll just you know I'll just put this grenade here nobody's gonna really fidget with it ah so then they got stuck with it now then they like ah this isn't a problem they didn't even campaign well nobody even explained what you know the pros like simple binary simple posters billboards leave remain bullet points five top points there you go mention them for either side that's all transparency just just having that just
allowing people their own choice none of this happened you had obviously false propaganda we're gonna get 350 million X extra every week we're gonna put down the NHS we're gonna Olay Tron although that was a lie we're not gonna do it like this oh and even that Cambridge analytical most likely were involved according to the you know a lot of the testam and testimonies if you haven't watched the great hack by the way make sure you do watch it epic it's on Netflix and so you know you've got all of that they're probably twisting people's minds and things like that and then you've got this referendum
and people like alright let's leave and then they're like well oh you can't actually leave like that you can leave but in this way and and you think that's not what was being offered so oh now it's like a No Deal so really the solution is quite simple whatever the best possible deal you can get you just put it to a vote that either take this deal or remain simple come on people like me don't have to give these solutions
no but seriously it is quite simple anyway what else is going on people why has the bleakie Jamaat split up in the UK Jewsbury versus Blackburn all right also we've on that note it just reminded me that maulana yusuf Matala sahib may Allah have mercy on him may Allah grant his family ease has passed away he's one of the leading scholars within the Deobandi kind of fraternity senior when I say leading scholars in terms of
seniority he was in charge of the berry' kind of Madras I'm especially in the from the pioneering of it and overseeing its success if you want to call it success or it's running its management and the fact just maintaining it for decades on end and he was a very senior person not really known for any controversies and things like this and in fact my understanding is he kind of just kept himself to himself and the running of the motherís to sum it up he
spent his life serving an institute for the sacred sciences and even though I do feel that murderesses need to seriously be revamped and a lot of them are create are causing unfortunately a lot of harm inadvertently they're not intending to do that but they are causing that but that discussion aside the fact that he did dedicate his life to that is a huge you know a huge deal and I feel that definitely warrants demands a great level of respect for that commitment that kind of devotion and so
mere law you know bless his efforts may Allah make his his afterlife a great experience I mean and may he you know ground his families I mean so I just wanted to say some of those words I think we should always you know credit where credit is due doesn't mean you have to agree with people's ideas it doesn't mean you have to we should be ever blinded by hatred I feel that you know I don't get me I disagree a lot of the times with the upon these and I'm also really other
people I'll disagree with them I'll have sometimes and I'll get on with some but I'll have some issues with certain people I feel that the like I said the motherís our system has caused huge problems as well in creating a certain kind of automaton model visa has then doesn't know what to do and just causes more problems but that said if a person has done great work in their own right or they've had a certain level of devotion commitment even if you know you're not part of that group you should never stop you from saying a kind word
saying a kind door for that person so I mean right let's move on people what else is going on Oh what Simona will seem a little more silent well why do we need to do to our to God our to God I'm not sure what that question means as in why do we need to ask God I mean there's many if if I look at that from the aspect of woke it means that God already knows our thoughts or why do we need to
ask if our taking it from that angle then I feel it is true that God does know our thoughts so why would we need to ask and I would feel that it's a now it's part of a kind of healing process to say things aloud to kind of to voice something you kind of give it like from your internal you see in your mind ideas and thoughts are not physical entities I mean this I know this you know this you've got the axons the neurotransmitters and you've got a lot
of neural activity electrical currents going on there isn't actually you know there isn't an idea like you couldn't unpack an actual idea in the brain but we have these things internal however they may you know I feel tied with the consciousness may be out there but the point is when we express them by turning them into sound waves we actually give it a physical existence it comes into reality and you say it which then aids
in your believing it and enforcing that conviction that kind of that faith structure and and as we spoke earlier on it reinforces your your psyche it it boosts your determination so I think it's really it's not for Allah that you ask because that is absolutely true that if it is for God then God already knows our thoughts I wouldn't challenge that thought at all I would concur and agree but I feel this is part of the therapeutic process for us okay right
all right so what else are we looking at mo bucks taught us Allah forgive you mocking what is that spreading hatred I don't know I can't see the rest of that r is so true very powerful sugar and sugar and what else are we looking at hmm what is your thoughts on super thicker um I'm not sure what super thicker is is it like they're kind of Allahu Allah I think these things are to kind of create a trance-like State so you kind of induce a certain trance
and you have like a psychedelic experience like a hallucinatory kind of and I think the same thing is done with it's like taking psychedelics whether it's gonna be mushrooms or DMT you LSD I think it's a similar kind of thing except that's probably more profound than certain aspects I think tMT's definitely seems to be much more profound they the word for this by the way people that they use them they call them entheogens like that they as opposed to hallucinogens that these are
things that from they are they create or give you a god-like experience God as in to connect a spiritual they're more spiritual than recreational so yeah I think that's what people are doing with breathing as well certain kind of hyperventilating and things like this can create induce that kind of state of mind so and there's been a lot of studies into stuff like this by the way okay so right what else is going on
people what else right we'll wrap this up as well what I'm coming up to actually you know what actually it's Sunday two hours which normally goes over what I'm trying to see some of these questions but they're moving so quickly is hydrogen as well from John I've got a detailed video on this if you type in my name on YouTube and the black stone I don't believe the black stone is sacred at all so the black stone was probably pre Islam probably had a pagan
origin most likely but by the time Islam came and probably lost that kind of essence to it then it just kept the sentiment of just being sacred most likely the Blackstone is either a meteorite hence they feel it fell from heaven or it may be some kind of volcanic like from a volcano a kind of residue because there were a lot of black stones that were being worshipped in pre-islamic Arabia so I've got a detailed video you can watch that but it's nothing sacred or holy or I mean now you may feel it's sacred because
it's in a sacred space I guess so you feel I get that but I mean ontologically in and of itself as a being it's just a stone that's all it is and that's what satan omar said he said he said yes to the I know in the Quran that you just a stone that you know let thorugh wallets and fire you can't do anything no harm no good and but I saw that the Prophet kissed you symbolically and I will do that that's all have you come across the works of Java dramedy of course I have I feel javi the lamina
D is definitely an amazing one of the few enlightened scholars in the world today obviously you see Jack a llama Java the llama D sob I think now he's residing in Dallas America I think but he was obviously from Pakistan and then I think in Malaysia and then maybe Australia and then Dallas I don't know but I've watched a lot of his clips time to time I'll see them they'll come up on YouTube and I really do look forward to hearing his stuff and hearing his replies to certain things incredibly
talented incredibly and he is just a sign that this is what the Islamic Sciences in places like Pakistan and India can produce seeing that he is a very senior gentleman a very senior you know share in age and things like this can you imagine if they were producing things like that with a younger kind of a protege a whole kind of a younger cohort today like a young like imagine him but a young him around today that kind of people as opposed to just producing
churning out tons and tons of mallanna's the regular type of mallanna's that you have the box standard the standard edition so he is amazingly enlightened that said I do understand that look he still we all have our kind of like our cultural biases our influences prejudices so naturally I'm from the UK born and raised here somebody that's born and raised in Pakistan will always especially if we're talking several decades back will always see certain
things differently because that's just because that's the context you see that to them that is always normal so I accept that I recognized those kind of what to me maybe limitations to them maybe what I'm saying is just you know on the same end oh he's just influenced because he lives in the UK and and that's influenced his way of thinking so I get that there are some issues that sometimes I do think I think I love myself I think that that one I think just you know you that one slipped away but I would love to meet him I ensure life possible I would love to actually
do something with him I think a joint eve I don't mean in that sense he you see girls hasn't a joint event or something to cover a topic right so that would be awesome right so what else is going on Mahmoud Abdul is in the house Moroccan lovak one of my mother sir Cody's I'm like criminal partners in crime right so from the madrasah days what do you think of mallanna's Saleem Dora I don't really know too much about
him apart from he runs an institute in Leicester in the UK he's one of the senior only figures I know he has a huge cloud amongst the upon these within the UK but I don't you know I've never really met him never really spoken to or heard his views on several I don't think you seen the thing with the deal Bundy's is generally speaking they don't have separate views they just have box standard V the standard edition view like that that everybody must just have that same you know it's the standard edition there's that's all it is there's
no and each person that comes must reinforce that standard edition have you heard about the you know the have you heard about the story of Roderick the King before the Muslims invaded Al Andalus or they sorry liberated right so before Bartok bins he had arrived but lewd reek is in Arab in Arabic but
Rodrik he was this ruler who kind of was quite a bit of a despot and quite there was basically a reign of tyranny and stuff like that in this time so people were upset with him they don't like him but he had this this these kind of astrologers and all these people in his court that would you know kind of tell him all the future and everything and they had this thing that they said that you know we fear that your kingdom will collapse and so on so it asked them that
is there any way to ward off this evil and they said there is actually now what you have to do is towards the south of the Kingdom the southern part you have to there will be this Hut they created this hut to ward off this spell what you must do is you must add a padlock on this on the gate of this kind of like hot water and oh sorry now this was created before Roderick's time I said Rodrick because he kind of culminates in his time but it was the Kings prior to him and each ruler that comes must add a padlock to
kind of secure this kingdom so it's the standard edition but you must always reinforce everybody that comes adds a padlock and the tail has it now when it was Rodricks time and he was to add a padlock he got curious and he said I wonder what's inside and they said to him that you know old oh no no curiosity this one not nice they said no no please just add a padlock just go get a padlock added on
to this thing and just leave it like another lock and all these locks already and he said well I wonder what the hell is inside it's like yeah okay I what's inside so he said I'm gonna open it up so he's kind of caught the people who shared his caught with him the Royal Corps they were really stressed out they said hmm right so they came up with what I think is quite a master plan at first
an office or even off our master offer they said to him look I tell you what the best that could be inside is well that's the best option isn't it but there could be anything but they could be let's say the most the peak is that this treasure inside so they said a hut that size it's not that massive it's a hut what do you think is the most amount of treasure that could be that could fill that area that volume and they said what we will do you give us that that
area size we've calculated it to be this if you're happy with this we we'll double that double that volume of treasure and give it to you but you must just you must kind of live up to the bottom part you're hugging me those of you that watched Amitabh Bachan this is that very speaking should be right so this is that so they told him this is the pair Impala this is the tradition you must add this thing whatever we will EE what say you
ah but as many of you know people curiosity has a way with the mind and with the heart so Roderick was like new yeah he was like we said what's that day look it's sort of had the both pale idea by heavy pale on from the movie we says that you know we've already laid out
these enough borders like meaning we've expanded so much it's about time we also lay out our arms he said that after that quote is to do the woman but the point is that he said yeah I think we need to mmm I need to explore so as curiosity did with the cat Roderick went and he said open up this goddamn door they broke the padlocks and broke the thing in the bust open this this kind of door and they went inside
and inside there was nothing it was a vacant room vacant heart but there was a table so he's thinking what but the table was very it was like an elegant table some say was made out of ivory table and the table had something like a kind of parchment so so he approaches it and on the parchment is a drawing and there's something being
that's being written on these so you get closer what is this yeah Dee his suspense guy yeah so he approaches and he's like and on it were pictures of men slightly brownish kind of as it was drawn out as its tail tells him that they were foreigners dressed in white on horseback they were so they were on horses and they were kind of dressed as what North Africans would have been
dressed like and it said that when he said that the year in which you see this these people will capture your kingdom and in that year Tariq bin zayed landed whether it be true or this be a tale either way history kind of played out antartic means the earth did land with these exotic men from North Africa whole regime very outnumbered but they went on
to to completely completely take under the wing this whole Iberian Peninsula and reshape it for the next 800 years to come and by extension trigger what was yet to come what was yet to become the European enlightenment in the centuries that followed and I think that's amazing it really I think history is just something which I suppose that the vertebral Atia of the story could be questioned and things like this and it may just be a
tale but you know it is definitely an interesting as the poet said well he'll attack a hadith and listen for God's arabe hadith Ian have the stories of the tales of al-andalus reached you for their stories have gone far and wide so people I think that's right if there's any quick questions I'll tell you what I'll do a few rapid round and then we wrap this up
any rapid questions coming through rapid questions people wrap it round let's get this over and done with people divine intervention is not a rapid round question I've got a whole detailed response on YouTube dealing with that in fact I do take if you look at my lecture at the York University I addressed that question I sure are fast is it authentic I've just covered that in much depth so you can rewind and listen to that did you ever want to learn the pyrrha out of the Quran I'm not really interested in the I
don't have much of a keen interest in the different kind of Keira art as in whether people want to say ten or seven or even fourteen or however you want to read them I just generally go by the normal recitation which is popularly known as Huff's which is the main stream you know the general recitation and the way the Quran is read that's it really I don't have too much of a fascination in that other people may do and that's that's absolutely fine right what else is going on any quick rapid round questions wrap it round people what's
going on quick no yes no do you think that a belief is dead what no no not necessarily beliefs isn't dead the question one could ask but you see because by beliefs we're talking about the the kind of negative insinuations the the harmful thoughts and all of these things Chris Johnson said I like you here sugar and chicken both what they know are right what else is Pokemon or dig them I don't know don't really watch any of them or
play any of them why do you why don't you debate bring in your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior ah praise the Lord right so all right what else quickly any rapid round can we marry with the jinn yeah if you're spelling it GI in and you mean as a consequence you get drunk and then you get married sure that could that can happen I'm sure it's happened many a time Jeremy Corbyn gonna win I sure hope so feel so you've been asking the same
tips to memorize the Quran I have got a video on YouTube on tips on how to memorize the Quran where I do it more justice right boyfriend/girlfriend questions please boyfriend/girlfriend questions please watch this question boyfriend/girlfriend question what all the question is that boyfriend girlfriend's ask each other it's not what the question is that I don't know the you the udimm would know these questions anything anything I'm so moved by your concern I don't know shukran
shukran if that's to me I didn't realize right so let's wrap up this - I actually I've no I think we've I think we've pretty much they were quite you know what I know a lot of people had messaged on the other thing I'm gonna have to catch up with them is it fine for my wife to pray beside me instead of behind me wait who's asking the question behind is that oh the husband's asking the cook husband's praying behind the wife cha-cha-cha you call that pray oh you
meant by that level of devotion that you have that an onlooker would think wow this is a bada I feel the same way people would think wow this is some next-level dedication and devotion and puja and oh right the masala segment oh yeah we actually missed can we marry and divorce as many women as Travis kiss and I marry and
divorce I think you're gonna wake up dead strangled in your own bed no all right so people is mota are permissible according to me yes I going to me motor is not Haram Mota is a kind of like a low commitment relationship stroke marriage which I think all Muslims agree was permissible in Islam they disagree whether it was abrogated or not many of the Companions believed it was you know it's still permissible and some scholars and then later on unfortunately because
of politics but I don't believe it's Haram now hmm somebody said what are my favourite all men have same concerns it's true you see because I was going through this thing on you know the male brain and the female brain it's really interesting you know because this sheds light on when people say oh I'm a woman in a man's brain I'm a man in a woman's brain you see it's actually interesting because the male brain and the female brain are actually different they're actually I mean I know they both look like brains
and I don't just mean in size sense because obviously that's relative to the body size but there are like the estrogen receptors in the female brain are triggered and activated in ways and I know in the male brain they are as well activated by Easter doll when testosterone its then converted into Easter at all of the history and equivalent but there are hundreds in receptors in the male brain and the androgen receptors you see they they have certain areas formulating and forming within the male brain that are very different like areas to do with sex
for example or usually that are dedicated are much more and they say up to three times more than in the female brain hence they say the average mind every what was I read something like 58 seconds thinks about sex and all the men here are like all the men are like yeah that doesn't sound so excessive that sounds about you know it's like men in it just a men conversation they like that sounds quite moderate that yeah
that's like a a balanced kind of guy no I know it's not always every 58 seconds mahmud bar said not hmm I don't think about it huh well mobile mmm not awful you're missing out I'm joking I'm joking no the thing is that look it doesn't mean everybody has to think about every 58 seconds I think when they took these studies they took them from a certain
age group of men but if you get men and women and of a similar age group they will find that the results that they do think about it will be probably three to four times more on average on every doesn't mean every one but on average obviously not you Mohammed bar he he Mohammed bars made his stance very clear he doesn't think about it at all cuss me just smile never thought about it
which other somebody get some pills to Mohammed bar you want to share a P o box address and we can anybody to write an ongoing prescription please alright tryna I'm trying to help you yeah this is this is servitude to the community give back to the community give giving more than one way give back to the community is eating humans allowed is that tell me that's some kind of a
euphemism Nick actually eating you Karofsky bro Mahmoud bar said bro I think about it okay I think about I also think about I also think about sex you know I'm sure you do mate you don't need to tell us that that's not the kind of thing you say come on you're making it awkward now it's like an awkward bro I
think about it like okay do you think about it in a straight way you in mind some kind of danger here is this like that God cuts out quickly you know that the old Pakistani tradition of don't do your back don't show you back to and all of a sudden make sense right Hardy musain raised he said I think about
Mohammed BA know is it not irresponsible to allow men to divorce on the spot I totally agree I totally agree with that it is irresponsible I think it would be awesome if it could be banned sounds like he's a number oh no no let's not pick on people so I'm not nice this one right all right guys let's wrap this up I think we've got a yep cool secret I've got no idea what the comments on YouTube are going on about they're just having a
