right let me see where on earth have I thrown my mobile phones all right so people let's see if anybody can just give me a shout that my the volume is coming through okay uh provided it is trimming trimming down man trimming down people trimming down right Martin pray for Gaza you know
Allah volume is loud and clear Jason that was the queue that I was waiting for right sohd thanks for
everything stay blessed people stay blessed right so let's take a look at some of these questions right now I have I will be trying to get the questions sent to me to save you dear folks uh the time wasting uh what is it not time wasting situation of of repetition so you don't have to repeat yourself there's been some questions that have been posted on my thing I'll take them actually to start off with whoa look at that Bloody y you can see yourself uh that's weird
having to look at myself right so okay let's uh let's see let's see where are we today right so let me go to this post there was some questions that were posted on this uh all right so uh let's get to some of these questions where are they where are they right so wow some of them were just too deep I don't know whether I should just jump into them they're like uh about loans and music I mean is there nothing uh a bit subtle to begin with some guy had asked when his friend was getting
[Laughter] married well God knows when your friend's getting married right so um here's a question Imam sha is the one who invented the use of methodology to extract F check that out people uh um before him F was based on subjective interpretations like that of Imam Malik is it not true that comparing Malik with shaf is like comparing Yani stroke
AA like termic powder okay with modern medicine all right is it not like that uh hell no it's not like that right there's a difference the different the schools of law are more to do with a philosophy okay of how you look at law so to certain people um I mean let let me give you some summaries to certain people for example
it is imperative it is constitutional of the dean um that it is always based on Mas it is always based on welfare okay uh oh look at that whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa right all right so look at that in time to block someone right I like that I like the the power that you have to block someone so so swiftly right so the thing is it's constitutional that the dean will always go with Mas okay so wherever
there's Mas uh right uh right they will always uh right okay Al Islam you're drinking with your left hand with your left hand I'm sorry I don't know what a he hand is oh I'm sorry did you mean hand oh right it's okay well I mean you know the way you you know the way the the the hemispheres in the brain are reversed as well they have this uh uh obviously in some people they're not
and sometimes they've got to split the Corpus thing in the middle right through some kind of almost uh something similar to labotomy almost but I like that the reverse cameras are also reversed okay uh you probably didn't get that but don't worry about it it's like most things in life you're probably just all over there don't worry my friend enjoy life right so anyway another important thing is for some people the dean must always tie up that they can never be
um H they can never generally there should not be anomaly within the dean okay so the dean should ought to have a um a kind of comprehensive nature to it okay so the dean should it shouldn't have the exception does not prove a new rule it is an exception and quite often problematized by traditional pre anyway so a lot of generally and the other important thing is
pre the the dean was really a it was seen as a kind of a regional a regional interpretation IM Malik's maab is the m ofina IM Abu hanif's is that of kufa uh and likewise so these kind of things it was all regional F until Imam shaf comes along and there's this whole thing you know what you can do is watch my on YouTube there's a conversation of me speaking with mu mtas from New York over these in a in a kind of private dialogue
which we recorded and did release all right so um and I go into but be careful when you watch these kind of things it's you see sometimes we're having conversations which are back I mean these are like backstage conversations between uh people that want to speak about things from a an advanced perspective so people that don't really are not acquainted with Islam can freak out sometimes just thinking what the hell and you know why are you saying these things or why are you saying those so just if you're interested you can watch
it okay right let's take an interesting question how how should we do if we actually or falsely forget if we prayed all of a Salah so if a person is praying Salah and they forget um to they forget all the of the Salah I'm not sure you could forget all the I mean I'm not sure really how that would work so if you're praying four you forget all four I think people like that there I'm sure prayer is Forgiven for
them I think what you meant to say this person meant to say if you forget within Salah then the Sal the S of U to repair for um to kind of salvage or repair the Salah okay and I have gone over that in detail that is uh it's different according to different schools within the Maliki school if you increase something in Salah you do two s after a Salam if you decrease one of the sun then you do a S before Salam that is for the sun in Salah uh or for increasing an
action within the Salah not a statement okay so if you sorry I I said statement not a verbal uh increase so if you read something when you're not meant to read something that doesn't really matter okay so that's not um right okay so that's not really an issue the if you forget an obligatory part of Salah um and you realize that you've forgotten it so if I realize oh in the last ra I forgot to do one S I only did
one instead of two now I'm in the second ra I'm in the third ra and I remember about the one previously then what you do is you mentally cancel out that and this is called and IM Malik speaks about this so the thing is you cancel out at a mental level that ra and you then uh you build upon so if you prayed two it's as though mentally you've only prayed one and now you're building upon this one and that first one is seen as an extra thing within uh Salah so you then do in the end as though you've
increased an action I have I have done a video on which should be look at those angry faces all right getting on somebody's nerves that's what I'm talking about hell yeah right so inshallah that video should be out soon people on YouTube Okay so let's take a look right what was I I'll leave some of these really uh let's get into it and then I'll tackle some of this
juicy difficult stuff what are you folks what say you um right somebody's asked it might be difficult to find an ideal job in the west the West the wild west people are everything Halal what is your advice people Allah tells you go forth and seek from his Mercy okay the thing is look I actually advise people entrepreneurship I advise people to to
do business to look into business it can be anything you you shouldn't restrict yourself anything and everything just began around you began as an idea okay I suppose even people [Laughter] anyway right well to those of you that are understood that there you go the thing is everything around you began as an idea so it was somebody's idea so the point is that
look be enterprising have be entrepreneurs try to be entrepreneurs do little business whatever you can any the world is your oyster people this thing of Halal Haram I'm not sure why why the person feels things around him are not Halal I would think things are Halal I don't know why the person feels that obviously for some reason he's obviously he's surrounded uh I'm not sure where it is that you're living is it a particular area within Amsterdam is because I'm not quite sure where it
is that you are the thing is there's there's plenty of Halal most everything by default is halal okay understand this people everything by default is halal unless proven otherwise remember that principle in life it will make things a hell of a lot easier okay everything by default is always pure everything by default is always permissible everything by default is always Halal to eat unless proven otherwise these are the principles of the school of Medina okay um generally as transmitted uh
especially by by people like Aly and I don't mean Myself by the way Abul far Ali and and other within the M right so let's take a look at some of these questions come on what else have we got coming all right let me bring these up to save you folks you good folks the repetition right so right who should lead the Salah a young or an elder nonha who is generally more knowledgeable Hamza Ahmed what a question look at that Hamza is on point
he's concerned about the Salah allahar people like you Hamza still exist it's it's a pleasure to know that okay so technically a person who leads the Salah ought to be somebody who knows about the rulings of Salah okay uh so if you mean by a h somebody who actually knows the rulings how to fix Salah if it goes wrong if you mean no he doesn't know that then the I suppose the Elder nonha also if it's a j Salah an audible
Salah then somebody with a good voice okay okay so not just somebody's going to go people are going to think what the hell oo some angry faces right I need to know ah I notice your troll base is increasing who's trolling who's trolling all right so some people coming on here block these people wow there's loads of sh huh
G all right let me just okay so cool well I've blocked a few people anyway right so if that answers uh let's get back to to this right what is intended by the word and what is intended by some say it's not intended literally Muhammad Muhammad see here's me trying to um trying to avoid the mega controversial questions to start off with and then I'm getting blasted with
them oo somebody look at all these angry faces godamn I need it arouses my curiosity you see I need to see what is going on uh mhm all right so I can't really see any right anyway make me sleep right so let's get back to this question people here's the controversial one let's just take the controversial one up front okay guys with all these angry faces chill out
man if you don't like me don't watch me go to sleep go enjoy something watch some TV I'm sure there's plenty of things to watch other than me so it always here's a poem for you guys that as the poet [Music] said that Allah like praise be to Allah how he set the laws of hating this kind of you know this jealousy and hating and
things like this that the person who it begins with it kills them it destroys the person who Harbors the hatred it doesn't actually affect the person they're hating on right so anyway let's get back to this right so Surah right now thisa verse 34 is one of the most um I don't know contentious verses of our current times where Allah subhana ta'ala is speaking uh
about if there is a dispute between the couple so Allah mentions in the Quran so admonish and and then about and I'm going through a common translation okay I'm not saying necessarily it has to mean this but this is a common translation right so that to separate maybe from the you know in terms of I suppose to have some space in terms of
intimacy and then there's a mention of okay which appears to mean to hit hitting them right now so many people have understood from this that it's the Quran allows um or Islam sorry allows for men to hit women that is not true okay that is not true it is important to understand a few things here I would I'm going to try to explain this in obviously I can't expand in elaborate
detail here I will cover certain aspects and maybe in the future I am hoping to inshallah do an elaborate video dedicated to this the hitting uh verse uh 34 inaha the thing is first of all this understanding that you are not allowed to hit women okay this first of all comes to us very clearly we begin with the Quran I will demonstrate this we begin with the Quran Sunnah and the salaf okay the Quran the
best of the Quran isrr okay it's looking it's it's explaining the Quran through the Quran now you look in other verses Allah says about living with amongst for couples the advice he says okay live with them with kindness okay with what is known as kind gracious
behavior in another verse Allah teaches us same thing and this is even more clearer because this verse here is speaking about it's speaking about when there's an issue you see when people are about to get when people get married when things are good there's never a problem you know people say oh well you know everything when everything's sweet there is no problem issues only occur I mean you really only test the character of each other once there are problems obviously if I'm having an awesome time and somebody's having an
awesome time we're not really going to test each other's character we're only going to see the good side but when when there's a dispute that's when we see true character so Allah says let's look at this is speaking about dispute let's go to another aspect speaking about dispute Allah says you either hold on to this relationship with
kindness or you part ways gracefully withan tell me does cover and cover beating up would you if somebody slapped you across the face right or gave you a flying kick or like an uppercut right to the ribs is that is that uhan is that kindness and gracefulness or do you feel like yeah man this person awesome really knows how to live kindly and gracefully and of course
not so here we have a clear verse of the Quran telling you you cannot do these kind of things okay the other thing we have to understand is I'm going to throw in a lot of com components here and this is why I said it's going to be all in pieces and in the future inshallah when I do a video I'll try and tie together with given a lot more time we have to understand that the Dean on many aspects set for us a trajectory with ethics this is called trajectory hermeneutics okay or it's trajectory
ethics so sometimes the dean begins with a certain ruling or there's certain things going on but it sets the trajectory further up so as people and civilization and the Islamic civilization or Humanity will continue to evolve they will reach that status that will be actualized a good example is like slavery Islam set the trajectory that when mankind will reach and actualize their potential to be able to forbid this this will become
Haram and that with that trajectory ethics trajectory hermeneutics it it it didn't it didn't um it kind of condone a certain practice but encouraged people to to develop towards this trajectory okay so that is the understanding of trajectory hermeneutics so in a similar way so that's like slavery as an example
uh right so the thing is take okay right so the thing is now same thing here we've got to understand another component I'm going to throw in there that the Companions and the prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam were the first recipients of the Quran the Quran came to address the companions through the prophet because the prophet he was already a prophet right it's the people who have to bring Iman they have to bring Faith they they were a make or break
deal for Islam Islam would either be made or it would be forever forgotten based on the first effective Community they are not like other people who come after them okay now so the thing is you have to now okay we have to pause this and try to get into them into their world the Arabs in the time of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam lived a warrior lifestyle okay they lived a warrior lifestyle they resembled in many ways those of you that have watched things
like certain series on the on the Vikings for example they lived a very similar lifestyle to our image of the Vikings they were just Raiders they they weren't like generally I mean some people amongst them had you know Agriculture and stuff like this but mainly it was a desert they they were hunter gatherers as well I mean there was some agriculture going on as well it wasn't that they were hadn't discovered agriculture but they were hunter gatherers they were Raiders they were they were just
Warriors they had very little art they had very little literature they didn't have poetry but they had very little they weren't into scripture they were not a people of texts they did not write much some of them could write but they didn't write much and it was mainly all about Clan all about and why Clan because Clan is what protects you it's all about boasting it's all about boasting it's all about power you know what does
the you know the from the what does he say that when our infant who's still nursing when he reaches the age where he you know is he kind of weans off nursing so he's what probably two two and a half three
maybe that the tyrants will prostrate to him out of fear you understand this this is what the Arab lifestyle was all about you know the whole thing you know you've probably read about all these um and all these different uh you know what what do he
say you know this is this is part of his point you know when when this a difficult War everybody knows where I am I'm in that war and this is what they just lived and died about just Warfare this is why watch like watching things like the Vikings or stuff like this it shows you in some way huge similarities even the way they believed in God is very similar like like you'll see that obviously the Vikings believed in in different gods Odin and all these people but it was all about death and I
can't wait to die and it will I will feast in the in at the gates of Valhalla and this whole narrative you see this in the early Community it's all about you know oh let me put this down I'm going to feast in Jenna and I can't you see their lifestyle was incredibly different and it was a very kind of warrior lifestyle now once you understand that you start to you you have to let that kind of digest because these were a people let me give you an example they would go on a raid they' probably lose a limb so my
arm's cut off haven't got an arm but hey I brought back a golden cup and a golden tray and I'm over the moon because why because I had a successful raid I mean today people would be like what the hell is wrong I mean how can you value that above your limb but to them it didn't matter their lifestyle was all about raids all about Vigor strength warrioress fighting fighting to the death wanting to be killed in battle
this kind of attitude and this wasn't just amongst their men their women were a part of that Society their women fought even in the time of the Prophet you see women fighting you understand so nusa and other women these they were worrier women so when you understand this you start to see that okay these people had a certain mindset so these people had a certain mindset like a woman or a man if they did something wrong they felt you have to punish me like I'm not like saying to
them oh listen I think you did this wrong um I think I'm going to fine you I'm going to give you a fine these things don't work for that society that world that kind of warrior uh you know that kind of almost like par Viking world you don't go up to people hey I'm going to give you a fine they were all about if I've done wrong I should be disciplined I should be this kind of understanding they had and they had this understanding and amongst them the women had this understanding as well the men had it as well the women so the men you see certain things them saying Oh if I done
something wrong hit me and the women were part of that understanding now so you see at that time they had this view them amongst them that oh if I've done something wrong then I deserve so for example I deserve to be hit and my husband ought to hit me if I did something wrong now this was simply descriptive of this of their kind of culture this Warrior kind of culture that they had so when the Quran comes addressing them in this it's only describing what
they're doing but what does the prophet say because you see to them it they all want to be a part of this even the the women even the men they all want so when the men are wronged they want to be hit when the so what does the prophet say he recognizes this is what's going on obviously he's a he's come from the same he understands the culture but then he says and never shall any of you if you were upon true goodness
hit now look at that wisdom so he he recognized that look yes this is your culture and you guys are acting according to your culture like you all are in on this like you you want but if you are upon true goodness you would never hit setting a trajectory that as soon as people move away from this culture this will not be allowed now as soon as Humanity will actualize and develop its ethics it it
will reach that trajectory and this is in their own students times you see one of the major the fak of Makkah the fak of Makkah the one of the greatest students of Abbas one of the people who when Hisham the king uh the Khalifa of the time is is sitting in the Haram he walks through and people uh you know they kind of obviously he's got some Gods with him and stuff and they and he does the TA and stuff and then he sits down and then
he sees people kind of people being torn apart almost like a wave they they give way and and he looks that what on Earth is going on here and he sees one individual walking through and he says who on Earth is that and they say that isah the scholar the dawn of Makkah the one of the key inheritors of ab who is the as the prophet
said the one who can translate the Quran clearly declared it is Haram for anybody to hit his wife clearly declared it it was a well-known position of okay so this is what I'm uh trying to explain here that it it is not permissible that that verse first of all came descriptive and is trans and is understood in light of the other verse
that that you hold on with kindness or you part ways gracefully to live with somebody and to slap them up and to beat them up right that is not kindness okay that is a clear violation of the verse of the Quran okay so and the words of the prophet and the fatawa okay and this same understanding you will see people like who was the Islam uh and the grand Muti of Tunis in his time a graduate and a teacher at Zuna the original Zuna in Tunis and he was the Islam of the
malikia as well and this is his ruling as well in his t under this verse he gives a very similar kind of obviously I'm giving a lot of context about the kind of lifestyle and stuff like this but he he says more or less the same thing that you he he says it clearly you you do not hit but he explains that there there were some cultures he says even in his time he found certain bedin cultures that they saw this as a that they wanted uh to live like that and he said that obviously in the cities this would be inconceivable and it would be unlam but anyway so I hope that's of
some help people these are difficult topics um uh you know I'm not going to lie to you these are difficult topics I do you know this is why it's important for to come together to share ideas to share thoughts to to kind of bounce ideas off each other I uh this last week was an amazing week I got to uh spend a bit of time with um the dawn of T Nan Ali Khan um Legend in tap and so with him as well two two of the days we spent with uh she
akam MWI who's amongst the senior within the UK amazing two days just covering Surah bak and going over all of the any kind of issues that arise within Surah Bak it was a private Gathering but it was really important to kind of bounce ideas to hear what other people have to say to to kind of share ideas and and do things like that and and I wish more would do stuff like that uh unfortunately sometimes SE iism gets in the way sometimes you see I don't I don't know what it is the other thing is that you
see I I think there are certain for example within the UK there are I would name amongst the senior the elderly uh two people who I think that really we could benefit a lot from uh people like akwi uh but and also uh bik Sudani I think these people have great insight but it it doesn't mean that we will have to agree with everything everybody says you see that this is another problem people think you know when you love somebody you have to become a clone right you have to I know I like
this guy I have to be a clone now of this person so anything he says I must always agree I must no I mean I'm talking about insights I'm talking about wisdom because these people are two these are two El elderly senior kind of uh figureheads we have in the UK who are very incredibly wise I I see a lot of wisdom a lot of pragmatism a lot of reason from both of these individuals and once again I see this this Grassroots effort where they're trying to make a change an effective change um whether it's just helping people Muslims
and non-muslims alike okay so uh and and then not sectarian in any way I mean so that's my experience of these people and you know may Allah bless them and all of the mash but the problem sometimes is people are like uh oh my god I've got my sh and if I now go praise another sh it's like I can't pit him you know I've got a Sheik I've got my allegiance I can't have which is a uh a shame really because you lose out so much you lose out on so much okay so let's deal with the next questions people
right that how is consensus applied to fi rulings today and how did it work in history uh David uh answer really there was no consensus in my understanding beyond the consensus of the companions of the Prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam um beyond that consensus is uh unimaginable inconceivable really the true consensus which is where every scholar voices his opinion in uh in unison that is impossible impossible because first of all as Imam jaf said who on Earth who on Earth are the scholars we don't even know who the scholars are
because he said there's no scholar except somebody really rates him and another person considers him to be a Jah so as I as I you know like some people may say well look I've qualified as a as an as a mu as a you know people some people on here just uh mashallah came on gave me some blessed insults and said you know just swore at me and kind of this the same thing obviously because I'm not wearing a heart a TH or stuff like this but but it's the same thing with all people it's it's sectarianism it's it's just too much hate it's too
many insecurities there's too much um just too many things so but consensus beyond the consensus of the of the the companions is not uh doesn't really exist in my understanding consensus originated the Genesis of consensus ofma came about came about and where it truly applied it truly appli not how people say
today you see because uh people will say that oh consensus in the books of they say well consensus needs to rely upon a text so you think well what the hell is the point of a consensus if it's relying on a text so so at times when I was studying I really struggled with that concept and I I read a lot of people's explanations and I was never really content and then a few you know some years back I I had a
a kind of uh oh you know it's I mean I've been working on it for years actually I've been kind of thinking over this for years reading what people had said never truly like I said uh it rested with me neither could I fathom the consensus uh sorry the Genesis of how this took birth how did how did this appear the origin of imma and then it kind of um made sense to me um that what this was and then I shared this with some of the major Scholars worldwide um and and they they concurred that this uh
was a valid understanding of perhaps how imma originated you see that when you look at the first sect that appeared in Islam the kar okay remnants of what we still find Unfortunately today this kism this kind of uh uh extremist mentality and it's found in all groups and denominations it's but anyway you see there are verses of the Quran which are face value go against Orthodox Islam right so for example there are
verses of the Quran that say whosoever commits a major sin then he will go to hell even though we don't necessarily believe that we believe Allah can forgive and so on and so forth and but there are verses of the Quran that see make it that appear as though no he's doomed to go to hell there's verses of the Quran for
example that anybody who kills a Believer he will forever be in the Hellfire most Muslims do not accept that verse at face value but the the extremists in the beginning that you see they did their beliefs were anybody who commits a sin is is a cfir is no longer a muslim okay how do you tackle that because they are going with the actual verse of the Quran and you don't have a like they're actually using the actual mother text
they are using the Quran so in the face of that the companions explained to them because none of the kar were Companions of the Prophet The Companions explain to them that we are the companions of the Prophet we have an inherited understanding from the prophet we have an inherited understanding of This Dean that teaches us that whoever by committing a major sin you are not a cfir you can ask any
companion and he will concur with this understanding this inherited tradition of ours upon it we have a consensus amongst us this is where consensus was born it was to do with beliefs that were manipulating the apparent rulings of the Quran and to tell them that we have an inherited understanding of the Quran of the dean which contradicts those apparent verses
so those verses here sin means sh it doesn't just mean sin this is where really uh the purpose ofma was that and then people tried to apply it to and do all these other things with it and then they used it as a power tool to kind of as a control mechanism and to Blackmail people and to threaten to Chuck them out of Islam and all this kind of nonsense but that's uh and that's why you get people like Imam sha in his Rah problematizing imma under the section and you get people like Imam
Ahmed saying whoever claims then he is a liar but obviously the later Scholars kind of drowned out those opinions and and they used it I suppose it was you see that's the problem with institutional ization institutionalization of anything is the death of it and like all things even Islam Islam is institutionalized as well so as Islam got institutionalized after the first Generations it also kind of it impacted it a lot really so but anyway Let's uh let's move on Muti do you start with
flat bench press or incline bench breast oh I think it varies really I think it varies on different times right uh I think my darling Lea wants to give Salam Lea
gum right right so next question can Ahmed Isa Patel can women cut their hair short and can you explain about the prophet's wives having short hair as their ear lobs that's correct a women can cut their hair I know the Hani mhab has issues with that well tough luck so there's a Hadith in sah Muslim that the wives of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam would have their haircut hair cut to uh it says [Music]
uh until it was about there so they would have a bit like a bob cut and uh and the dawn of Muslim Spain U from the malikia and Imam nowi and all these people write that that clearly demonstrates the permissibility of cutting here for women uh I know the hanfi M disagrees with that but in all honesty their evidences are incredibly weak they they say that by cutting hair you resemble men hello I think you can tell a minor part
you know I don't think it's just the hir so there are other significant organs as well anyway all right so if you have a fizzy drink and pray Salah straight after it and you taste it during Salah is your prayer valid mhm mhm you Ziggy having drinks with the aftertaste during Salah you naughty [Laughter] naughty of course your prayer is valid inshallah of course it's valid um let's
see right could you explain this Hadith and give us a Judicial position around it Dam and then the Hadith ain't there so I'm not sure what the Hadith is Adam Hardin is it true that if you seek and nominate yourself for position of leadership then you should automatically be disqualified um the Hadith we do not give position to those who seek it Hamed that's not necessarily true uh an example is uh s yfam in the Quran when the king Allah quotes when the King was looking to appoint somebody YF says
why don't you make me the key Treasurer indeed I am somebody that is very safeguarding and Incredibly knowledgeable he didn't just say he said I'm incredibly knowledgeable so there's no harm in saying you're knowledgeable if you are knowledgeable right so um right anyway let's see Mustafa I once read on a Maliki site that Imam Malik can because of those ayat considered is not allowed
to have a Christian friend what ayat what ayat that's not true the thing is look you have to understand as well people stop trying to draw your your daily morality your daily kind of interaction guidance from people 12200 years ago just know that Allah and his messenger told you to be good to people around you just know that I mean what more do you need you don't need the prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam was good with what did he say to Jews and Christians when he drew up that what is sometimes
called the first constitution historical Constitution the he said about the Jews and the Christians We Are One that if they sustain a loss we will pay out of our pockets for it okay and he said we will vouch for them when the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam passed away he had he had uh right he had kind of he had taken a um uh he had taken some credit from from one of the Jewish traders in
Medina and had left with him as a um as a kind of G guarantee if you like his shield okay and he had taken certain bags of wheat now tell me the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was head of state he was the most powerful man in Arabia towards the end of his life he had many countless wealthy Muslims him subordinate to [Music]
himd these people were incredibly wealthy you telling me the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam couldn't say right people give me some wheat you telling me the prophet couldn't say hey why is it us Muslims are starving whilst my man the Jew next door is so wealthy uh how about we nationalize his products how about we take State ownership you think the prophet couldn't have confiscated his uh he couldn't have confiscated his wheat he could have he
didn't even need to do it he just needed to give the indication the prophet never did that he porned with him he left his own Shield that you can take that the thing is look the prophet's interactions with with Jews and and Christians and other people was a Humane interaction he taught us that that I have come to perfect character when we look at different imams they lived in different times okay the world over a thousand years ago can we even the human mind
isn't even designed to conceive a thousand years we cannot conceive 1,000 years I do not believe we can con perceptually right anyway I won't comment right we cannot conceive a thousand years think about it if I let me give you an example if I told you I want you to picture how cold it is at minus 5 you could probably picture that imagine I told you to picture
whoo imagine how cold would it be at minus 20 you'd imagine wo it'd be very cold but if I told you okay now I want you to picture it at minus 40 you can't really picture the difference you don't really understand the difference you just understand it's very cold you don't understand qualitatively the difference because our mind doesn't work that way you you just recognize oh it's cold it's really cold but at certain things we would
recognize so if I said the same 20° from 0 to 20 you can recognize that but if I said fromus 20 to -40 you can't recognize that like if I told you to picture it you can't you just picture it being very cold in a similar way our minds have have kind of developed have been created to picture realistic spans of time like decades a 100 years maybe 200 maybe three we can't even really picture
beyond that like we can't truly appreciate I don't mean we can't understand the number 1,000 we can understand the number just as you can understand the number minus 40 and minus 20 but you don't truly conceptualize the difference you can't gather what the difference is so in the same way when we think back a thousand years from today we we think of it like oh like maybe 200 like I don't know in decades or like we're not truly understanding what it would be for a thousand years to to go
by okay so think of it like this when you picture things like 1066 and the Battle of Hastings look at that look how long ago that was you think of people so backwards and people so different and you know William the Conqueror and Normandy and this whole thing and you read about it and the world then this is before that so so you're not truly picturing it now you have to remember Muslims lived in a time where a lot of Muslim civilization were being create I mean as
they were developing they were in contrast to certain Christian civilizations that were antagonistic and there was war at times so people obviously otherized the other they didn't see them as friendly because they saw hostility there's no point asking them hey what do you think of Christians and then trying to in 2017 apply it to your next door neighbor I mean your next door neighbor doesn't come from the B you know the bantine kind of Empire he's not so if you see my point it's world's
apart okay so we have to keep things in context all right uh right can you explain the Quran which speaks about the verse of taking as you see the quranic verse was not speaking about friends okay Allah says that that Allah Allah does not prevent you from being kind and good and to those people
who did not fight you and did not this is the verse of the Quran when Allah is saying about he was talking about there about Allegiance legiance in what setting you have to go back to that Warrior lifestyle that they were living that Warrior lifestyle meant you take their allegiance to kill and fight the Muslim Community obviously it wasn't talking about will as in a friendship willay hey don't be friends but oh by the way you can marry them you can eat their food what do you eat the food of your enemies I mean whose food do you eat you your
enemies are not inviting you over to eat their food so obviously it's friendly neighbors if you if you married somebody you I mean for God's sake you're going to you're going to be intimate with the how could you not be friendly what are you supposed to be like like okay now woman we will woman is this I mean how does it how does it work so it this so obviously you're going to be friendly so this this verse will is talking about overall
Allegiance in terms of um in terms of in terms of war and things like that okay let's see can you explain right I just answer some people are very mean and strict in religion oh ask wait a minute if both of my phones are here anyway right so om is described as aggressive hot-tempered and strict in Hadith literature I think this is a a picture that people draw from I don't think he necessarily was I
think at times he may have had a certain personality that comes across as very um I don't see him as like a hot tempered because there's no way he could have ruled if he was a hot-tempered person I see him personally as somebody who was very upfront like the kind of person that would just call a spade a spade and just say in your face uh that's not the same as being hot tempered okay so I don't I don't agree with that um image of and if you look at even things like uh the strategies that were developed in
Omar's time the expansion of the Muslim uh State the the provisions that were given to people the welfare state that was set up um you know providing welfare for people how B Mal was organized howar uh dealt with aggression from the other side how he how he kind of arbitrated between people and companions it it doesn't to me reflect a person who's ah losing his temper and stuff like this right Salam heard from another Maliki from the US that Imam Malik was
in favor of giving virgin girls to marry without their consent uh what the hell right so uh please could you clarify for me right now that's I mean I'm not sure what that question exactly means if if it means you are allowed to marry somebody without consent I completely disagree I do not believe Imam Malik uh accepted that i' I've I've answered this in great detail in my video explaining the age of AA so if you watch
that video take out an hour and a half of your life but it's well worth it and towards the end I tackled the question well if Imam Malik had all these views what do you do with this position of where allegedly Imam Malik has said oh that the father has the right to intervene uh that he could marry off his child what did the that he could superimpose his will what did this mean and I go into great uh explanation detail there uh explaining that this was not speaking about um actual marriage and it was speaking and I give the whole
details about what circumstances and what was going on and so if you watch that it will give it especially if you watch the whole thing it fits right in as part of the detail if you watch it on you can watch it on on its own as well the question otherwise um yeah right so all food uh sorry I could could you explain this yeah of course I mean it it speaks about you know whosoever believes should not sit where alcohol is going around and people are getting drunk and so on I
don't know what um what the ruling what you mean by that okay I I suppose I think what you mean by that is uh oh because I think you've asked a question before that if you've gone out to work and non and you got non-muslim friends there and they're drinking alcohol uh like let's say you've gone out for a meal they're having a beer you're having a Coke can you sit at that table of course you can sit at that table and this Hadith is not referring to that and it's referring to Muslims okay it's not referring to non-muslims um so obviously because for non-muslims it's Halal for them to to
drink alcohol right so and that there is no the have accepted that unanimous I mean there's no on that that they drink and eat their own food there's nothing they can drink alcohol they can eat pork they can do all of these things right so even to the extent that IM Malik said If a person married a Christian woman she would most likely there's no restriction on her keeping alcohol at home or having pork at home or or keeping the cross crucifix and this is why Imam Malik in one you know in some of the reat he discouraged marrying Christian women because he said well if you're going to have all that at home the chances are your children will
be consuming it as well anyway right uh all food was lawful to the children of is Israel except what Israel for right did Imam Abu hanifah initially believe Salah could be done in one's own language but later changed his position um there is a fwa from IM abif that for people who do not know Arabic that that Salah is permitted in Farsi for people who do not know Arabic um I mean that's really from the immense wisdom of people like Imam Abu hanifah Imam Abu hanifah wah he was a
dawn he was a dawn um he was somebody who really uh with IM Malik as well but he captured the spirit of theid of the Shar uh it's it's own the the only kind of um I don't I don't I don't know the almost kind of ironic betrayal that's a strong word that's a strong word but the ironic kind of letdown to his legacy is unfortunately his later mhab his later maab is the antithesis of him
the the latter school of the hania goes against everything almost Imam Abu hanifah stood for in principle not in obviously they still hold his rulings but they the spirit of what Imam Abu hanifa was all about they are so against that this is where you know people like Dr Sherman Jackson refer to the whole crypto shaiz of the latterday hania because they they in essence just became shaf in principle and thereby rejected the whole thing of Imam Abu hanifah was all about welfare they just became all about but
theith isah theith is and even today you get them saying Oh my God he's going against a Hadith and you think well uh you guys are Hani your whole m is built upon but anyway so uh harun advice for people who work full-time jobs but I see seek studying de currently working 60 to 70 hours memorize the classical text studying with sherks it gets hard to balance these that's true Haron it does get hard may Allah make things easy for you and each and all who walk this sacred path and may Allah bless things
for you I would say look try to take try to become interested like I know you are interested but try to you see the the more you enjoy something the less it becomes like work try to enjoy like try to take an an actual interest in so if you're let's say you're reading about something find out who the person is what when did he live what did he used to think what were his personal opinions what find out a bit about his life let these characters come to life for you you know when I think of certain figures
like [Music] ABD when I think of certain characters these people to me come to life it's it's like I I it's like I kind of know them so when somebody says you know this about or this about I think nah you know I don't it's it's like you start to almost you start to fill in the details about this person from a personal perspective and then it becomes really interesting when you start doing that
with different people it becomes a um like it's it's like they they're a part it's like you I don't know you're in this this whole thing together like you're trying to I I don't know how to explain it but it's it becomes animated it becomes animated okay that's my advice um right you you are a breath of fresh shukran shukran I appreciate it I appreciate it uh [Laughter]
Muhammad okay right well thanks that escalated quickly didn't it so anyway uh what did the sahaba understand when the hand of Allah is mentioned in the Quran right so the Allah when Allah mentions these kind of things it does intrigue me how people become agitated people become agitated by just looking at someone I mean you must have a very
shallow existence a very miserable life honestly if I was to log on to Facebook and become actually AG agitated just by seeing somebody who I don't even know and the person doesn't even know that I exist I must have such a miserable life seriously damn man I'm just trying to envisage how how sad that person's life is and I'm I'm pitying them already man you need to watch some standup comedy get some humor in your life man uh
this coming to this question the sahaba did not understand things like um these verses to mean body parts okay they don't they did not understand that Allah has body parts or he's a body and or theyve or they never ever ever stated that ever so so we do not assume assume that either okay we just kind have let these verses go as they've come definitely peace be with you are so sweet Allah look at that you are so sweet both
both Muhammad Salman Ali right definitely agree shukan shukran right what is meant in the Quran being pre-eternal right okay this is this is really just a theological a very theological debate ties into the fact that well if the Quran is then is the speech of Allah then obviously Allah is what pre-eternal means is it has no beginning okay so it means in that sense that the Quran was always the speech of Allah which was
always with Allah so that's in essence in a very small nutshell to kind of explain that good to see you online what's the ruling in the Mal in regards to bleeding does it break wo if a man touches a woman does his woo break what are you up to touching women bleeding I mean right the thing is these things do not in essence break the woodoo according to the school of uh [Music]
Medina um you say first of all bleeding let's take that uh no the IM the Maliki School the Medina School the IM shaf school they do not recognize that blood breaks the W breaks the woodoo okay neither um the hell school only accepts it if they say if it was something that was so there was so much blood like you were pouring in blood oh drenched horror movie style the Hani maab says if it kind of comes out and if it moves right so if it if it stays still
then okay but if it kind of moves along trickles along then your woodo is broken this is based on a weak Hadith which is in and other books that from every flowing blood there is W that Hadith is weak um and it contradicts clashes with the verse of the Quran which tells you when to do woodo like if you've come from having relieved yourself or so on or so on now so that's that ruling okay so the Hani M say says that but the general Other M do not the school of Madina clearly doesn't neither does the shaf school the H School says only if it was excessive
blood like as in they say all over right so and other evidences for this is like you see a lot of the companions they prayed whilst uh whilst bleeding and things like that when they were in battle fields or other things I know the hania could answer that by saying that's necessity but um but in general as well it doesn't there are no clear evidences to show that wo has broken as to touching women makes it sound so touching women right okay as to kind of intimate
contact or sexual sensual let's let's add a word there sensual sensual contact right the thing is that the verse of the Quran says now what does l mean here now most understood like it depends here if you understood Lisa here to mean actual sexual intercourse then that is talking about that only uh but then there are certain that speak about oh you know oh if you uh and from the companions that if you've been intimate with your wife
then you should repeat your woodoo and so on so what the school of Medina does is it finds a kind of balance so you have on one hand uh schools like the shaf school which says that any touch if you simply touch a woman your woodoo is broken it doesn't have to be intimate like if if a woman was here and she you know you just touched her arm your wo has broken that's the Sha School so if you are doing ta I don't know how you keep W during uh then you have on the other hand the hanfi school which says and
this is the same thing with touching your own private parts as well it takes the same ruling uh the hanafi school says your woodoo does not break at all under any circumstances I mean actual sexual intercourse of course but anything below that you could be as intimate as you want you could be you could be touching your private part you could do anything wo does not break at all categorically with the Han Hani M have got a very strong
wo right they've got they've got a super resilient W they have right so the school of Medina is kind of balanced in the middle it says that touching whether it's whether it's contact with uh let's say the husband or the wife intimate contact even if it's or touching your own private parts as well they say that if it's simply a touch if it's non sensual if it's not uh a touch of kind of pleasure if it just happens to like let's just say you're standing here and somebody touches you
touch your arm or something like this it's not nothing sensual it's not you know kind of like that sensual that does not break W what breaks wo is the sensual touch and anything to do with kind of seeking pleasure so even if you were touching yourself this is going all this is why I have this Beyond The Watershed you see so it would break woodoo if it was to do with pleasure if it wasn't pleasure then it wouldn't break woodoo and that is as uh generally the Iraqi malikia had kind of set that Trend and and then that kind
of just went through quite popular within the school okay so next question advice for a non-muslim drawing conclusions about Shar by reading quranic verses BK and Muslim AB forget non-muslim even Muslims it's very look people become very judgmental by reading certain things I'm not sure if that's the best way to understand Islam by just picking up Sahari and going through it what are the FI rulings on drawing what are the prohibitions drawing um h i dra drawing is not is permissible there's nothing to prove it's impermissible in fact even the Hadith
that speak about the statues which I do not believe are forbidden in Islam uh to kind of make you know to have pictures or to have figurines or to have things like this I do not believe that to be prohibited contrary to what many people may believe but even those Hadith that spoke about the Sur the kind of statue it said except a drawing on cloth which is in s Muslim and other books ofi so that's fine do we basically have to change Islam to fit today's culture now Islam I love the way Dr Omar uh
Abdullah explains he said this he explains it very well that he say look Islam is like a flowing stream whatever rivered or kind of surface it flows over it takes the color and just flows seamlessly through its surroundings okay that's how Islam is it's not about do you have to change Islam Islam will just Naturally Fit in it ought to fit in that's the whole purpose of Islam with your environment
Islam as I often say the dean ought to complement your lifestyle and not imped it if the dean for you is just impeding your lifestyle then I don't know I mean to me that's not my understanding of of the dean but I mean people are welcome to have it but to me that's not Dean the dean is something that complements My Lifestyle it enriches it not complicates it makes it weird makes my life just I mean Life's a struggle anyway but just makes it 10 times worse that's hardly a blame blessing uh in my understanding a blessing is it
ought to compliment and give you that connection to Allah right uh right Abu uh somebody says end of slavery was a pragmatic Choice more than anything else not much ethics involved I'm from Tunisia abolished slavery in the 1860s oh did you now did you abolish slavery in the 1860s did you well we do appreciate your your efforts read the letter sent by Maliki judges to the American Council explaining the background of the decision it was neither ethical nor
religious it was due to technology modern way of life well that's actually not true that's not true the Geneva Convention the uh even the the whole if you want to take America as an example before American the whole American slavery thing was going on even that the Divide between the North and the South it was based on the fact that these are humans that they deserve to be free because you have to understand that slavery like if when we say slavery today we think what comes to mind obviously the American slavery but even
that you see at the time it was not enough for people to just say uh you know oh we've got the slaves and we've got them for economic reasons they were the people the Americans at the time wanted to appear moral as well and Pious so they Justified they Justified ethically for their time slavery now first of all one of the reasons that they capitalized on I suppose what what I've come across on um on black African slaves one of the reasons uh I suppose you know what if they've had certain
access to certain slavery markets and stuff like this and also uh going over there being able to kind of capture but also the fact that I've heard that they found that certain African people there were certain in their plantations there were certain diseases uh things like certain I think there were certain types of malaria and stuff like this and which certain African people that were present uh were immune to that and that was of having lived in certain tropical kind of climates and stuff like this now so their genetic
superiority shockingly led to this social inferiority imposed on them because they were kind of genetically immune to those diseases which technically you would that kind of places the matter superior but they then obviously socially place them at an inferior kind of stage they Justified it the the theologians and the people who the Ministers of Faith Justified it through uh rulings like saying well ham the son of Noah these are the descendants of ham and he
was cursed and his offspring were to be enslaved as a curse so they tried to rationalize uh etheze if you like these rulings the people at the time the the um I know that that the doctors and stuff they they tried to say that you see oh these the black people that they are biologically they try to explain that they carry diseases and they carry this and they carry so they explained them being inferior from that perspective and there was a lot of this kind of ethical thing in slavery so this thing that
ethics was wasn't involved of course it was involved when people uh England for example did not even though it hadn't abolished slavery at you know by that stage it did abolish it much before uh the Americans and it was kind of falling out of flavor here anyway within the UK or within certain parts I mean some parts of Europe were disastrous but others were different and it was to do with the ethics changing and people challenging but even even then I mean America obviously continued with its struggle in in fact I'm going through a book that touches up on this as a kind
of byproduct I mean it's not focusing the book's actually called a sapiens it's an amazing book I'm going through it currently but it it happens to touch up on how imaginative realities and then speaks about slavery and stuff like this in the past in the modern world and then the struggle of uh the African-American uh slaves and posts slavery how this continued and how it's shocking how um you see because people were born obviously even once they were no longer slaves they were kind of Trapped In This vicious circle of poverty
because when a black person was it was very unlikely to be employed or to be highly educated or do things like this and obviously his offspring would be in the same circle now this a few Generations later would serve this imaginative reality and saying well look uh that oh well black people are inferior they would say look oh because if you know they've been free for so many generations but if they if they had some decency to them why are they not working so what they were doing was using the initial
discrimination to perpetuate this kind of philosophical reality and saying well see they they are in intellectually inferior and they are this otherwise they would have all these jobs why are they not why are they not the the bank teller or the accountant or the engineer but then in society even if a black person was as qualified as a white person they would not give the black person that job so it's it's just a vicious circle so I mean it's shocking really going through some of these um these kind of things but that book is really wow it's but I mean I disagree agree strongly with this thing that it wasn't ethics it there was
huge amount of Ethics involved I'm not saying there weren't other factors but ethics was involved as well people there are always some people that will challenge certain things okay they can be non-muslims they can be Muslims they just human beings at the end of the day some human beings did challenge this some human beings challenged other things they challenged things like like in in in the UK in Europe they challenge things like capital punishment you know death penalty they CT they challeng these were human these were normal you know they weren't Muslims so I do believe uh I do believe that ethics does has have something to do with it could
you explain the I've already explain that um right a dogs Halal to keep at home okay shukran for reminding me of this question right IM it's an honor it's an honor people those of you not following IM Mark follow him man that's a legend right there an American a she who squats and right are awesome right so this
question on dogs is an interesting one um right there are certain rulings within uh what I'll try to do I'll wrap it up with this okay inshallah I'll try and I know it's been going on for a while now right there are certain in in our Dean which seem to really um be really strict against dogs right so things like uh if the dog licks the bowl of anybody they have to wash it seven times in some narrations one time with soil the eighth time with soil there are narrations that
if you keep a dog at home you will lose two Kat a Kat is a scale two scales of Good Deeds per night okay then there are rulings that if there is a dog at home you will the angels will not enter the house then there is a ruling that kill the dogs it's not metaphorical we're not doing it drain the swamp this is but there's a ruling and and the
companions actually killed many of the dogs right so what was all this about many of the malikia I know other mabs have explained this differently so some of the Hani I think Abu yusf and IM shaf they believe that the dog is inherently impure as is the pig now with the Maliki School remember when I said the law of defaults the law of defaults is like everything by default is permissible Everybody by default is innocent until proven otherwise everything is halal until proven otherwise and everything is pure
until proven otherwise now according to the school of Medina life necessitates Purity okay life necessitates Purity every living thing is pure Muslim non-muslim animal creature insect dog Pig cat anything everything bacteria right every living thing is
pure okay that's the principle the Axiom within the Maliki School within the school of Medina so when Imam Malik was presented with this Hadith of washing the bowl he said he rejected it he said he said this Hadith has come but we've got no idea what it's talking about why he said he said he said that you can send a dog to hunt for you as Allah says in the Quran they can send a dog to hunt for you how can its
slver be impure because if it slver is impure he's digging into the meat with his you know with his canines and things like so how is this happening he said it does not make any sense so all animals including pigs are pure uh according to the school of Medina okay now obviously you can't eat pig you don't eat pork but if it's alive it's not impure okay and neither is a
dog so what some like IM ma who is a major IM within the Maliki maab he's actually referred to his his his tag you like his you have like titles and you have certain people who become popular with certain titles so it's like their tag right so his tag was Al IM the Im so if you say the IM in the m it's referring to qu obviously I mean if if you're speaking about in the context of IM Malik it's talking about IM Malik but beyond IM Malik it's usually referring to IM ma okay and he has a
commentary on Muslim the Muslim and you have an expansion on his commentary by K okay the dawn okay now who is like a student of um um or he he benefits from obviously the word works of Imam maeri anyway now Imam maeri was in North Africa he wasn't in alandus now the thing is Imam mazeri in his commentary on the of abdah aladi he highlights that that what seems to be apparent is that the dogs in Medina at
the time were carrying a disease which most likely I believe would have been rabies okay so the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was concerned about this obviously not all the dogs were carrying it but certain dogs were now those of you that are familiar with rabies even today with our technology rabies if you are infected with rabies okay um I think you have a very small window to receive the the kind of um the
antidote to it if you like I think generally it's a few days otherwise it is almost certainly fatal it is even today fatal right it results in in creatures with 100% fat fatality like it kills them and even human beings if you are uh infected by rabies unless you have immediate immediate attention right you and and you pass it results most certain in I mean this I mean you can you can check this up anyway the fact it is pretty
certain to result in fatality it will kill you because it reaches the membranes and anyway it kills the person off now what's interesting as well is with rabies it's interesting that one of the things that rabies cannot survive in is soil now that's interesting because when I read that it was was fascinating because I thought of the Hadith where the Prophet said wash the bowl seven times then the eighth time with soil that's interesting I cleaned the bowl with water seven times and then the eighth time with soil now so the prophet
was trying to safeguard the people of Medina so he was first of all trying to create a distance between them that hey if they if the dog licks the bowl don't don't drink from it throw the water then he started to discourage them from having these dogs at home oh you're going to lose reward he realized some people still are not abstaining now then the prophet said that the angels will not enter your home this is hyperbole this is just religious rhetoric it was used very often in that time and especially by the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam and you see this common for that era for that kind of people would talk in a religious rhetoric within a religious kind of parameter they would speak so to say about angels doesn't necessarily mean Angels would come in why does it not mean Angels would come in okay why well let's take a look in Sahari you have a Hadith this is in sahariar says oh when I used to be single I used to sleep in the Masid which Masid the Masid of the prophets Ali wasallam according to the Maliki school school of Madina the most sacred
place on Earth above mekah even now he says in sahkari I used to sleep in the Masid and the dogs would come in and out all the time this is in sahkari the dogs used to it wasn't like today they lock doors and stuff he says the dogs used to always be walking in and out this is in sahkari find it so if dogs were impure P then they would have always been impure then the prophet would have said from the beginning that hey people uh let's keep the dogs away from the Masid but he
didn't so then he realizes that some people are still not refraining and so then he commands that people kill off some of these dogs they need to put them down this is also why the prophet said things about dogs breaking Salah or dogs are a a certain type of dog that is a devil that flee from it or you need to put it down or you need to why use this language that it's a shaan because it was carrying a disease or not
necessarily every dog but this was you were taking a safety precautionary step because many of them or certain dogs were carrying a disease and if you weren't sure you'd rather on the side of caution so this is why these things were prohibited okay now this is why and and this is why you see the prophet Sall alaihi wasallam say oh oh except a shepherd dog a sheep dog what well wait a minute why a sheep dog it's still a dog a dog is a dog why is the sheep dog not cursed or
not uh a devil or Angels still coming because the sheep dogs seemed to be safe and they served a purpose right they so the prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam was ruling based on the purpose this is why in IBN AB Z who's known as young Malik who who who passes away in the late 300s in his time he used to keep God dogs he used to keep dogs now some of the people condemned him and they said how do how dare you keep a dog and uh don't you you know the Hadith and don't you know that IM Malik or The
sahaba Condemned this he said Subhan Allah he said if the companions of the Prophet were alive today they would keep Lions as for their safety meaning that people that there's all this burglary going on and everything so the thing is but yes it is true that today uh the culture has changed slightly again that in their time suppose dogs and the houses were designed differently and and dogs don't generally I suppose they they had a certain kind of out like um a treatment towards dogs today dogs are like members
of the family with certain families uh but I don't believe that they I mean they they're not impure anyway according to the school of Madina but I don't believe you're cursed or you can't have them in the house and stuff like this I believe you can if you if you want to the only thing the only caveat that I'll kind of put here is that look just be weary that this the majority of all the the the schools of Islamic understanding don't go with this so they kind of see the dog is impure and as a result certain people have phobias from dogs so I know it's a popular thing pakistanis
we have like a huge dog phobia right so I I I cannot be anywhere near a dog honestly I see this is it like I've been brought up with this now so I can't I even though I don't believe the impure I don't believe but I I cannot be around dogs so thing is now keeping that in mind many Muslims are like that okay so if you're going to have a lot of Muslims coming around or you're living in an area where there's a lot of Muslims and Muslim keep this in mind that they will just just be kind of courteous to the greater understanding that people you know they make consider
certain things but but I know this question comes to me quite often sometimes from converts who already have dogs and they've been told oh my God you got to get rid of your dog I I don't think you don't have to get rid of your dog okay you can keep your dog inshallah there's nothing uh wrong with that okay that's my understanding anyway so people if they I think we've uh cut it have we not cut it quite uh late how do check this out how to how to refrain from the FNA of [Music]
[Laughter] womenman you know like what is it with this thing of FNA people are just so OT ain't they don't you think so they're just so over the top man with this whole thing of uh FNA FNA FNA I mean look you need to be just be natural okay I I'll tell you what I'll drop in a question I was asked a question actually it's a good point to answer it somebody asked me that okay this this this lady is looking to get
married and there's this whole thing of um the husband is follows a particular sh and I think his family want to uh ask the P Sab first for the blessing uh she feels that you know is this so they've had this kind of Fallout she feels that maybe that isn't the correct understanding of Islam and I think they've had these kind of debates and and stuff like this and and she's asking about and can you are you allowed to ask the
P I mean I don't seriously I think it's maybe it's just me maybe I'm just weird which I definitely think I am I'm definitely weird but I think I mean how do people even get into these kind of conversations with with each other like okay I can understand some guys you know you're with your friends and stuff like this like here you are about to potentially get married to somebody right so you're chatting to you're meeting or you've met a girl or the girls met a guy you're obviously trying
to get to know each other let's say oh yes what do you do and what are you up to and what's this what's that and you're debating on uh his theology or her theology is like this and can we I mean are you guys looking to open up a School of Theology or something how the hell does the conversation even get to that is this what people I mean maybe I'm just so old school correct me if I'm wrong but are you
not see I've got to be careful with my words cuz people apparently obviously some of my people are looking for so many mistakes but I mean if you're s meeting somebody of the opposite gender with the aim to get married are you not just trying to obviously there's going to be flirting there's going to be you know you're trying to get to know them there's going to be you're going to be Charming uh you're going to be cracking jokes uh you're going to be probably thinking like you're if this is let's say you're going with the fact that you like the person you're going to be thinking hell
[Music] yeah why on Earth are you going to be thinking right so let's get the important things out the way theology [Laughter] who the hell even knows about the right so H I want my I mean I I I just don't get I don't get honestly I seriously W do not maybe it's just a generation of I don't know I I don't understand how this world these people work if you like somebody and you want to be with them that's the important thing forget about all this other
nonsense alhamdulillah the Muslim full stop who actually talks about religious like detailed discussions at home as a couple I mean who on Earth does things like that dude H so woman do you remember the opinion of IM in [Laughter] this right so I mean I don't get look keep things natural okay keep things natural let's remember you are
humans human All Too Human keep it that way okay inshallah don't overdo things this FNA this this talk of they just keep things natural obviously what do people mean by fitner being attracted to well duh what do you want not to be attracted to the other people I don't I don't get get people I mean I don't know W anyway anyway people with that I'm going to leave you to it inshallah I hope inshallah this has been of some benefit
insh that it's helped maybe shed some light on some of the issues as always it's been an absolute pleasure for for attending for sharing your thoughts with me for sharing your questions with me as always inshallah leave you to it with my blessings with my duas inshah take good care of yourselves till next week insh stay blessed
