the analyst kr heim of the long time no speak any advice for the broken heart is it worth pursuing someone who doesn't know if they want your heart or not people the analyst kr the analyst people this he's asking the question ham jante is

0:40

[Laughter] this uh that is a uh a line of me where he says that it says what is it that if we knew we would not have attached this heart to anyone we would have taken this emotion laden heart

1:19

leg with this desire we would have taken it to the grave with us you know say there's a it's a fabricated hadith but it's a but it's a nice saying they say one can find god with those with the with the people or with with the broken hearts in the monk allah so the analyst people

1:57

hmm should we should there be a little love story there's a uh low story coming to mind you know you know what analyst for yuya i'm going to tell a story let me just check the comments here as well i love story people

2:32

is now as the analyst is saying that his heart has been broken people let me tell you a little love story man i love love story love story so remember previously we've spoken about the tribes there is a famous woman historically in islamic uh in the islamic torah which is the the kind of

3:10

literature and legacy of love known as laila but not late there's been many layers by the way and you know the famous that everybody knows is and that layla is layla of case and there's been other layers as well by the way and we covered one before laila al-hafifah and barack obama rohan and that famous love story there is this one leila allah

3:45

and she what a story she has here check this out people yeah um moment this is where seldom you know in these love stories you have these couples usually the guy is always more popular as in they're both popular so you have leyland but really leila is obviously the counterpart of the story but the story often revolves around majnun and she's like you know so it's like

4:22

often it's like a 60 40 divide or a 70 30 or a 65 30. so this is how the stories are often very male uh centric as in the the lover it's usually about him and she's a huge part of the story but from these legacies the one who she dominates the story it's like 80 20.

4:56

if that it's like 85 15 this is what we're looking at so leila who is from the tribe of bani hamir we've spoken about them before ahmed nasa were a ruthless warrior tribe from hawazin from pace island and i've mentioned them they they come to the prophet in the final year of delegation as well and they were always known as these kind of uh you know people don't really want to mess with them and stuff they were these kind of you know you get some of these tribes like tamim who were these kind of rowdy uh fighting kind of people and were like that as well and this is why from them later on

5:36

you get bani hilal and you know and those of you want to google the settlements and how the later kings use the tribe of to kind of do all these attacks and right so leila and her love story is with a guy called toba toba when the name itself is tawba tubu inallah

6:08

in one way just means kind of going around coming back you see taba to come back and that's this guy's kind of story revolving in love allah what happens is he's related to leila and some people say he's a kind of cousin uh even a first cousin in some ways but allahu alam but he grows up and he knows her but as people wander they come back and as he's re acquainted with her

6:45

he realizes that leila they call her elia because one of her grandparents was a lachier she's she's grown into this you know it's mesmerizing hypnotic with hypnotic beauty this absolutely you know just wow beautiful kind of young woman so he comes back he's he's been on his wonders as people often did and he sees her and he's kind of like wow

7:26

[Laughter] he's like yeah and he's somebody that had um you see there was a custom that the arabs used to have is when people would go off on sometimes these kind of voluntary military campaigns they would go off and join these kind of expeditions and come back and when this kind of platoon or the people of the tribe these kind of ex-soldiers so to speak were returning the whole village would kind of gather up outside to kind of welcome them and this is what's happening on this one occasion and leila is out there which is and all the people like hey you know they have this kind of homecoming

8:04

kind of um do for people and he sees her and he's like wow and he's so he's besotted he can't get it out of the heart man and so he he can't seem to get over her so he reaches out to her and as on some occasion the flame be reciprocates allah and shines back with a brighter love so he connects with leila and

8:44

they both become kind of besotted with each other in love and as one falls in love in that day and age what they would often do is say poetry [Laughter] and the arabs had one of the worst customs back then that in human history that if you'd said any hazel about a girl that family would refuse to marry her to you so toba comes to propose for leila and some of his results have kind of been

9:21

circulated so the dad refuses says so he refuses stubborn and toba obviously you know he's thinking what the hell he tries a couple of times he gets really and they say that you know what we're gonna make a point of this we're gonna marry her off and they marry her off to someone else

9:58

[Laughter] these cruel heartless people huh so they marry her off to someone else in the you know in in the tribe toppa is heartbroken and he becomes a look and i've explained so look previously he's one of these people who disavows themselves from any tribal allegiance and they just kind of wander on their own and he's a very brave person as i mentioned before you know he's one of these people he's a poet as well he says some poems and he's a look and look often these kind of they become these robin hood people they at times kind of rob the rich and

10:37

distribute to the poor and and the nature of people that did that were often very brave kind of courageous people anyway so he does this and time to time he comes back to meet leila and everybody leila is so bizarre even though she's married to this new husband i his name is abu atla because their love is so well known this new husband he kind of just ignores the fact that layla meets him so layla goes and meets him and she'll meet him often so he would come to the village or the settlement where they were and layla

11:16

would just go off in the evenings and she would go and meet him and now it's not exactly clear what they got up to and some people say there was no it was always just platonic but the point is that they would often just go and they would meet and and often it's the you know in love as we could see uh ashik who who sent the snapchat uh sorry the the the yep no i was just trying to find it again um who sent the the the question sometimes it's just the presence

11:56

and the bond with people it doesn't have to i mean the sexual part is an important part obviously but it's not always about that see a person can have just lustful sex if that's what it's about but it's not meaningful it's not you know it's just about lust and that instinct love and its emotion is more

12:26

it's more about a kind of harmony of the soul it's therapeutic it's um graceful it's meaningful it's blissful it's very different it's a different sentiment altogether than just about the sex and it doesn't mean they can't overlap they can of course but they are not necessarily the same thing so people in the tribe get very offended that what's you know leila you know she's going hanging out you know he comes and sees and and the husband isn't even doing

13:05

anything so people of the tribe they reporter they report this matter to the local kind of you have a kind of like a governor and he says you know what kill him i am the law you know there was this uh there was this it wasn't a meme there was a clip or what it's a few years ago from um it was in pakistan that this person he this police officer is stopping this vehicle

13:44

and he says to him that he says obviously he wants uh one to go for a bit of without share the love and he says to the driver he says he says you've come this way this is a no entry so the driver in the clip he looks and he says he says he says he says he says you know he says there's no i couldn't see any sign for no entry he says it says

14:17

[Laughter] so this governor he says we are the law so he says yeah just kill him kill toba next time he comes so they lay out a trap to kill toba natopa doesn't know and he's on his way

14:46

meeting over here meeting and he's on his way and dashing you know cologne shalom [Laughter] ready you know tip top and so leila thinks damn and what they've done is they've got certain people with bows and arrows hidden that when he comes to this point just you know and they're obviously hiding so he doesn't know he's not expecting it so leila comes out to the place where these people were hiding or she let's say there's a place where she's meant to meet him close to but she comes

15:25

close by that she's not at that spot but she's at a distance and she just stands and she removes all her hijab and she stands there she's a very brave woman by the way this layla is one of the you know if you're looking for a a a female archetype of islamic history you really need to this is somebody i encourage you to read up on she's very courageous obviously her whole tribe were a bit like that there were these kind of you know strong minded people and she was like that and and there's many stories about her by the way she was born in the time

16:04

of uh was very just a toddler then but she she has stories where she will go to people like moabia the when he's the caliph and she's one of these very proud like you know strong women you don't mess with them and so she comes and she tears off her hijab and stands and you know toba is coming and he sees that and he realizes this ain't right like something's not right and he realizes that this this this

16:41

and he turns and he and he's out of the and he says in his poem as well he says he says he says he says whenever i used to come to see leila she would wear it's like because she would come out in the night to meet him she would wear this kind of burka to cover and obviously sneak out and meet him says

17:17

he says but today when i saw her uncovered in in the open it freaked me out that something ain't right he unsettled me and this actually saves his life he goes off and um and then she has issues with obviously a husband eventually he divorces her somebody else marries her see this is it you know in that day and age obviously maybe she could have just gone off with him but because he had adopted this nomadic lifestyle and it wasn't easy just boycotting your whole tribe back then even if you were strong where do you go

17:56

where do you live how do you live as a family unit it was difficult and so she gets married to a second husband and she lives a very long life and you know during her um she comes to learn that toba as he's kind of just really heartbroken as our character was heartbroken he roams different cities and he joins battles you know because you get sometimes these people who have this fury in them and they want to channel that rage and they don't know and you know like sometimes

18:34

you go to the gym or some people they go into sports they're going to fighting because they have this rage in them that they want to channel it through a channel they don't want to just explode on people and and in the past they used to do that as well in their own way what they would do is they would go and sign up to an expedition and just go and fight and they had this so he this is what topper did and in one of the expeditions he's killed and he dies um whilst

19:13

layla is relatively young and as in she hasn't you know she she may have been i don't know maybe in the late 20s or something and he dies and so it really breaks her heart to learn this and she she says these eulogies for him that are epic and deemed some of the most amazing poetry she says will one of the days will bring them up but there's one where she begins that she says

19:50

i like this you know like when water is gushing forth like that unleash and she says all this kind of amazing poetry dedicated to him and she she forever you know even though she does get she obviously marries and people say she has children as well but she's forever devoted her heart

20:27

allah love is for the first love allah she's always dedicated to him and she praises many people and she has this huge reputation she's not like she's widely known leila she was incredibly beautiful as well and not just see when you have beauty but you have confidence and you know they'll you'll have people that carry themselves and courage on top of that and wisdom and poetry eloquence i mean that's like a miracle and that personified was this layla

21:07

and i mentioned she would approach caliphs she approached maurya and she said these poems about him and and he was really impressed with her and he gave her these he gave her a gift she went to hajj you know hajjaj used to be so almost besotted with her he used to be so and we spoke about her uh mentioned him earlier they say she said some poems praising him she said something like uh

21:42

and she says all these long poems that you know whenever hajjaj goes to a place he brings it back to life and this and that obviously she was a poetess they say hajjaj would never you know use this grumpy miserable kind of he's like a hitler kind of guy i mentioned he was like that attila the hun but they say the only person he would light up for was layla if she came to visit him he they say he would get up and he would be so like around her like a puppy and she would she would just go there occasionally and she would just kind of just check in and she would sometimes say a poem and they they used to

22:20

obviously give her all these gifts and sometimes she would say some concerns about the tribe and stuff and she was very outspoken and now you've got prestigious people speaking about her and this is what um you know hajjaj he was put in place as i mentioned earlier by abdul malik so hajjaj was besotted almost with her that this news reached abdul malik and you have to remember now years have passed by you see because by this time abdul malik rules for a substantial time as well so years later she's old

22:58

she once comes to the royal court where abdul malik is and he says oh you're that layla ain't you and she says yes and he's obviously heard loads about her come on all everybody knows about her and uh hajjaj all these people are besotted with her but she's an old woman now and he looks at her and he says he says

23:29

he says what is it that toba saw about you that he fell in love with you [Laughter] so she says the same thing muslims saw in you and made you their caliph she says and he's kind of shocked by the what the hell he's kind of a bit offended but at the same time her courage and then some people say she you know she kind of covered it by saying when he said like what do you mean by that she said

24:07

courage obviously you can't see courage but courage and but this is this person leila and a love story and it doesn't end here people this is what we're gonna seal it with check this out you know toba had said a poem about her during his lifetime he was a poet as well not as good as her by the way he said about her in a poem he said

24:39

she says if layla came and gave me salam even if i was under the soil and rocks even if he says

25:10

he says he says he says that i would have returned such a salaam saddam mean that i would have given her such a salam that he's saying that if she came to me and basically even if i was dead and she gave me salam i would have returned such

25:50

a salam of bashasha of like such a positive like passionate salaam and she would have seen the salaam coming out of the grave this is his thing to her he says that now keeping that in mind

26:26

she's an old lady as it happens yes it comes you know there's an occasion where her family that extended family all traveling and she happens to be traveling and they're going far out and they go through some of persia that land and while she's going she's told this is where toba died and he's buried so she insists i'm going to go visit his grave and the family tell her what the hell is wrong with you have you still not got over him and she insists and you know she's a strong woman they can't stop and they're

27:04

like if i just go so the family kind of are holding back and she goes she's on this horse and she's going up to the the kind of camel uh sorry up to the kind of tombstone and they've got horses camels and she's going up to this tombstone and she stands there and i mean she's on horseback and there's this tomb october

27:32

and she says and she she greets him and then in almost in in a moment of confusion she says didn't you say

27:58

yes you say that you would return and and then she says it again she says assalamu alaikum expecting almost a reply and then she says ya toba won't you return my salam now when this is happening by the grave the tombstone there's these

28:38

bushes and things that are obviously it's out there in the wild it's not well kept spectators said that there was an owl that had kind of nested the and it's behind the kind of tombstone there's these bushes so as she's standing on the horse saying this the owl is kind of alarmed and it flies out and spreads its wings flutters so as she's standing there she just hears a fluttering and something rising from the grave

29:16

she's shocked and obviously scared me unbelief and she jumps back like on the horse and the horse leaps and she falls off the horse breaking her neck and leading to her demise she dies right there and the family that had held back that they see this they come to her and she's already dead and they bury her next to toba the irony that who they stopped

29:56

from being with throughout their lifetime they were only reunited in death ray that is a such a powerful story of love honestly however you want to take it this woman who was strong she was powerful she kept that love in her heart throughout her life and in the end you know unbeknownst to her

30:35

as she approached his tombstone as allah says no soul knows where its death has been written that she was to be laid to rest right next to him decades and decades later allah may allah may allah make easy the struggle for people in this path of love so that was dedicated

31:05

to our super chat that came asking about his love story and should he should is it worth pursuing when is love not worth pursuing that's what you should ask
