i've come across i'll share very briefly i had just seen a poem today by a poet called josh just a single couplet that really captures the the kind of angst of the 21st century common muslim in light of the complexities sometimes of the faith as presented by the clergy the poet says mubarak who is

that he says congratulations to the preacher for having achieved a palace or a mansion in paradise all we simply want is a home on earth and this this kind of an outlook or an attitude is so easily uh held in contempt and within a blink of an eye is dismissed what i'm aiming to do is to explore that state of mind

why is there this mental unrest this existential angst this this kind of thirst unquenched within the common muslim that they are not finding their answers with the clergy why are people being forced or strong-armed to make a choice between forcibly embracing certain concepts that do not rest well with them or abandoning the faith it is not an either all often there are

certain standardized narratives and as a narrative as they may be there are alternate narratives that people sometimes hide away or they kind of bury them in the sun which are equally representative of islam so join me in this journey let's explore our faith take very good care of yourselves people assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi
