live right bah all right a very blessed and abundant graceful blissful New Year to each and all may Allah fill this year for
everyone with abundance with joy with Barakat am mean that said I mean just the the things that have been going on yesam yesam right what I'll be doing I'll be sharing the um the link and allowing many of you to just come on and share your thoughts with us really your greetings your presence and your
thoughts am mean but just to briefly just wow to just touch up on some points it's been quite a while huh before anything we make Dua for for everyone that is suffering in Gaza may Allah Grant the people of Goda Victory am mean and a reward for all of their sacrifices and in all other locations
and that what we've seen in Lebanon in Syria with the the events as they unfold there and all around the world I mean in [Music] Sudan grant them ease right in other events wow what is happening to the world you know we've got Elon Musk trying
to I don't know just unleash a race war for the UK which is crazy against pakistanis yes you know and yeah you know it's crazy I I feel that what the Gaza war did for the world is it was a litmus test and during this test many
Idols were smashed you know that Dua of ibraim but they have misled many of people and it's so true that so many idols have been smashed by this by what happened in Gaza so people who had a facade of or had a veneer of acceptance with the Muslims you know people who we may have
thought so well of and that includes you know the likes of Jordan Peterson it includes the likes of Elon Musk it includes the one year just over I mean since October 23 I mean 2023 it's amazing and shocking how these people have fallen from disb have fallen from grace in the eyes of humanity and may Allah continue to disgrace them a
mean right so but it just goes too you know it's just wow we enter into a new year and we reflect on this and we reflect on status I mean you could here you've got a multibillionaire of the world with such ad adventurous projects that many people you know myself included I you know you go back a couple of years held him in very or in very high regard thought wow you
know a an intellectual Pioneer of this world similarly with Jordan Peterson and other people and you've seen how they have been exposed and just humiliated before the world and I guess people who've sold their souls so to speak and yeah and even billions of dollars doesn't Avail that hey that's
that I'm just trying to think of certain other fascinating topics what I'm going to do is I'm going to share out the link and you more let's get some of you on here and we can share your presence and thoughts so
yeah with the New Year in mind whilst I've shared the link there for those of you you can click the link it will ask you to have your camera active I look at this what a beautiful quote there Norman felstein they used to say Palestinians fight like Heroes now they say Heroes fight like Palestinians all
right can I there you go fad can I get a shout out there you go fad Allah bless you H shukran much love as always from Down Under H people I want to say that you know it's amazing how we reflect on our lives and I think this is a time of the year that everybody it's you know worldwide is it's used as a collective
um Landmark a milestone to say well what will I be doing this coming year what are my targets what are my goals um what have I been doing the last year gone so a moment of reflection and you one of the messages that we find time and time again in our tradition in the Quran in the Sunnah in the example of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasall is this this
rapid this turning to and it's interesting even the term the name of Allah from the term Toba it means to kind of revolve to come back and and I know in on one hand people associate this with a sense of let's say you're doing Toba there's a sense of guilt you've done something wrong and that has an understanding within the Arabic language but also it's this thing of revolving
that Allah Allah turns to whoever turns to him and I think that's a fascinating concept whether that's to you know we turn to determination to goals to Ambitions to dreams to hopes aspirations something maybe we wanted to do to achieve to become maybe to just appreciate gratitude to spend time with
to reminisce to develop you know we we come back too Allah and and I think it's a beautiful time of the year to to do that to set these goals to not despair or despair is a strong word but to to not let whether whatever is happening diminish that Light Within
allahar you know we don't know how close these things were to us and I know there's many people struggling with a kind of feeling down despondent depressed um maybe feeling a sense of failure if I can use that word
you know Allah says that your promised time is the dawn is it not close Allah says so yeah may Allah grant us all that energy that vibe that Spirit breathe into us from his you
know breathed into Adam his the spirit that embodies us all may in our passions in our Ambitions in our achievements set us a flame Allah right I've got some people uh that have joined in let me just share the link again so right Abu
safura alayum I'm I'm a you finally brought me back how have you been m i I've been well of course always that you live in our hearts well it's good to hear that I tried on a few times before but I think maybe a lot of people were in the queue yeah a couple of times we get some people here queued up so how are you and
how have things been and are you what part of the world are you still in are you still I think you were in Dhaka previously are you still there or have you moved out I was in Haka before but now I'm in London I'm quite close to you actually hi hi hi is this why we can feel your presence oh yes absolutely and I can feel a connection well it has been good muy the last year was incredible for me a lot of new changes have come in and I'm looking forward to some new changes as well before anything MTI Happy New Year to you and your loved
ones you uh sorry you just slightly I don't know whether for the viewers but for me slightly broke up uh what did you I said mu Happy New Year to you and your shukran Allah bless this year for you as well and for everyone am mean a mean sharan right okay so what thoughts have been preoccupying your
mindur I had been wondering about the this media campaign that is going on in regards to the grooming gangs trial and what happen now it is true that we as Muslims we absolutely categorically not only condemn this but I believe wholeheartedly that we are the ones calling for harsher punishments for such individuals who commit such heess crimes and yet you have and yet you have these people who I'm not sure whether they do it intentionally or not but they lie and keep on saying as if we condone this and
we make excuses because they're Muslims for some reason I do not know why they say such things what are your thoughts on those musl no world said that look in Islam any person that has abused a child sexually I mean the the Muslim attitude has been you know I'm not speaking about specific be like to let them hang hang them these people I mean these people in Islam the punishment for any such person has been so harsh and if anything you know you you would see that
um we have a tradition where we've C in fact to the extent that think about it people they and this isn't a discussion on H but this is the thing known that people would say people that in Islam stoned them to death you know this is the popular thing in the context that look how harsh people would say that uh the Muslim attitude is towards uh abuse sexual abuse especially where we're speaking of rape and things like this now yet this has been become
associated uh with with Muslims especially within a the Asian demographic especially once again with pakistanis now I think what's triggered a lot of the um you see it's a it's a it's a it's a weird one because what's happened is what's triggered the the kind of reaction from Muslims and then to some people it might appear so I don't know maybe there are some people who are actually justifying these kind of things I've not come across that personally but maybe there are but what might appear as a backlash as a kind of
knee-jerk reaction from Muslims uh in response to this may then be called by people hey why are you getting defensive and that is about so first of all as mus Muslims we in the most harshest terms condemn any kind of uh sexual exploitation especially child sexual exploitation categorically and under Islamic rulings you know the punishments for such thing would be so harsh we're speaking capital
punishment death we're speaking so now you come back to this point here this point the the problem with this point is the confounding variables of people trying to make this the media jumping onto this making it all about a particular race IGN ignoring the other statistics ignoring and then every you know media Outlet pushing articles like that pushing making it very islamophobic very racist there's a discussion right
now between peers and um Mahi Hassan an amazing uh clip it's viral on social media so it's very recent and he's they're speaking about this so the it's the home office report of the UK government this is the home office report found that there was not only no correlation between race and these sexual crimes they found the majority of the perpetrators in their study to be white like over 88% I believe but the media
refuses to highlight that so it refuses to and what Pier says in that interview to Maddi Hassan he says well uh he says well I'm not talking about them cases and then Mahan says well that is the problem you're not talking about those cases they like you've got a majority of CAS you're not talking about them are they not sexual are they not children being exploited are they not victims you're just wanting to highlight cases to do with pakistanis so as to project this as a Muslim Pakistani
British problem and and that in its in its capturing is racist because what you're trying to do is just marginalize a particular race you know it's like saying if I went through every uh let's say let's say now there's this a scare of a new um virus going on so let's say now I go through all the uh people reporting to the NHS for certain flu like symptoms or certain pneumonia symptoms but I only report on those that are Chinese and I say right so today the
78th Chinese person in the UK has has you know reported to his GP pneumonia like symptoms tomorrow I say the 85th Chinese person in the UK whereas really let's say the statistics show that I don't know let's say a thousand people 10,000 people 5,000 people have reported these uh let's say symptoms 20,000 and a minority of them are Chinese but I'm not reporting them I just keep saying the numbers for Chinese people then what's going to happen is you see I'm forcing a kind of racist
bigoted stereotype to create fear so what's happening is people sitting at home and you've got these huge you know the whole rup Murdoch Enterprise all of these media Outlets bloody Elon Musk like look trying to make this about let's say saying oh English uh white girls now firstly any child any girl any any person regardless of race right it is an atrocious what has happen to them anywhere in the world but that includes places like Gaza that includes the babies being bombed there on a daily
basis how many children are dying on a daily basis you don't see it Elon Musk hasn't tweeted once once well are those babies not babies are those those children not matter what's happening okay exploitation what's happening in Sudan the rape the ethnic rape doesn't bat an eyelid once the there is clearly an agenda like now check this out the reports even the the independent reports have now all come out in this last week and said there's no uh that
they've debunked entirely the mass rape propaganda of October the 7th that there's not a single zero EV now after all this fact finding they've come out and acknowledged do they highlight it no do they like so there's just such a bigoted um you know Prejudice now be and Muslims are feeling that so I think what happens is when Muslims see things like this that's what they're reacting to they're not I mean I'm not aware I'm not saying there's none there might be people but I'm not aware of people actually defending the
actions the heinous kind of crimes but more so they feel why is this being you know the Yoke of this is being placed in the neck of a particular racial ethnicity when really you just single them out like every it's like you know like there's 100 people people here and they've all stolen something and then let's say out of them 10 of them were black so I say okay so 10 black thieves now now look at that look how racist that is like but wait a minute what about the 90 that weren't so if I keep framing it like this then if people
react to that so let's say now rightly so like let's say black people now say why are you singling out the black people I say oh see you guys are trying to cover it up no that's not the case but they they have a legitimate point that why are you just singling out why don't you just say all it's clear the highest number of like in the I mean pedophilia it's clearly stereotypically and I'm not trying to you know put it on that but this is what all the the kind of reports show it's like a middle AG white uh male problem that's what it is you do not even have to go that far I
mean youand you can go to Thailand and other popular tourist destinations for white people and if but my point isn't and this isn't to try and put it on to white people I'm not saying that I I know but but but to contextualize yeah of course of course if you if you look at how their sexual behavior is when they go to these uh the sexual Paradise if you will what they call It's usually the middle-aged white man men it's not not really a brown people thing to go to these countries and look for the youngest women but but
even somebody just put a comment that all Elon Musk did was shift blame yeah it's so true you know Elon Musk right so you've had the far right uh and you know it's not surprising I mean let's be honest I mean this is I guess I'm I'm taking it I don't know what exact is this just Elon musk's upbringing in apartheid South Africa is it a recent deal that he's got into uh with the far right is it something you know are there some Israeli kind of lobbyists involved I don't know but he has just gone from obv he's openly brazenly embraced the far right is it him him having a
nervous breakdown with his family you know the whole thing turning against him I don't know but you have a person who on one hand he was trying to get more Indians to come in to work for him uh you know Silicon Valley uh cheap you know demeaning costs that has caused an upro amongst the farit so is this his retaliatory steps but you know
it's the way I see most the years uh I mean if you look at how Elon Musk had acted the last one year so he sort of played himself as this anti-establishment guy right who was championing the the voices of the heard people what happens is even if you remember with October the 7th uh Elon Musk did not really speak out in in favor he did not speak out in favor or against the uh the October 7th uh incident what happened was yeah Elon was does make a comment right after the Israeli bombardment of Gaza and he
speaks in favor of the Palestinians for a brief moment yes there was a brief yeah there was a little thing where he but then he compensates by visiting Israel but that happens immediately so he gets approached by the Israelis and he had this T to Israel and where you know he went to the Wailing Wall as you do and Bang Your Head On The Wall lose any remaining brain cells that you've got and just that's my that he after banging his wall on the head he sort of changed he turned against the people against the uh I I mean if you
look at the far ride the far right is quite interesting a lot of them a lot of the members of far they're actually very anti-israeli but the reasons differ most of them are actually either Pro Zionist or sorry or a lot of them have this true anti-Semitism in them which sort of projects projects onto their anti Israel feeling but nowadays what I'm seeing is the far right A lot of them of channeling this hatred towards the Muslims and now allying themselves with a with a Zionist this was not really I mean even if you remember with the whole Trump
campaign a lot of Muslims actually endorsed Trump in this particular election and and a lot of Muslims did have hop that maybe he would be anti-war yeah because yeah and also I think you see the way politics is kind of framed uh in the west uh and especially like in America but even in like one could say in the UK to a great extent but in many of these countries uh in many parts of the world you're just trapped between like you have an option of usually just two and it's going to be this or that and usually neither are good and and
it's like well either you do nothing or these are the options you have you have this party or you have this party and and that's it and then so you know you have on one hand clintons and and all of that which you know the the amount of uh you know just just diabolical Terror that's been Unleashed under their reign and then people think well you know I suppose you've got him or you've got Trump and maybe there's going to be some more change during Trump's because it's weird you know it's so weird how the world uh has arrived at this maam so to
speak where Trump is this figure that is um kind of taking on the establishment so to speak yeah you know it's it's so crazy because he is this multi-billionaire uh and so he he definitely isn't somebody the regular person can identify with but yet he's this Underdog taking on the system because he's from outside of the system so it's it's a strange perplexing uh you know age really you know what I you know what I find fascinating with them and it's funny hilarious so these far right
nationalists these people genuinely believe that the Muslims are sort of in agreement with the uh zionists and they plan the zionists I mean they plan on uh setting the Muslims up on Europe they genuinely believe that we Muslims have come here as Invaders to take over white lands to take off Christendom and to set up ourselves yet these are the very same people who Watchers day and night being bombarded in Palestine and what I mean I do not understand how how do they and I
think you know what's a great what's a great uh um example a response is to see look let's say you take Syria now with the removal of the Assad Assad uh regime many syrians in the hundreds of thousands if not in the millions flocked back to Syria like they weren't you know there isn't this like people there's this thing that oh you know and I'm not saying that doesn't exist look people do seek economic Prosperity wherever they are but there's
many people that have moved out of their homes because of the war torn um crisis that that country has found itself in which as a consequence of Western meddling and politics so and when those people find ease many of them do go back because at the end of the day that's where they you know that's home for them and I'm not saying look that you know there isn't uh economic migration but that's been everywhere in the world I mean you can't expect people not to but then look on one hand you've got people like Elon Musk
admitting that look you need certain skilled workers because people aren't prepared to do the job or they can't get the job done so we need to get a bunch of brown people over from India that are going to go and do the job because we need people that are clued this is just a way of the world I mean we have to admit that look we are in an age of globalism you know that we can't have these uh Puritan racial ideas of this is a particular but I think you know the d a new chapter begins a new dawn for 2025 let's see what the world uh brings
with it but Abu safura it's been an absolute pleasure speaking to you it was wonderful speaking to you have a likewise like shukran Allah bless you take caream alaykum people that was Abu safura uh who we've had uh on the show on many occasions in the past right I'll share the link again you will need to to come live generally you do need your camera active uh I know with Abu safura from many years ago we've had an exception hi and but generally it is uh required
to bring you on screen okay so Joshua amum sorry I'm just I'm in public right now but how are you I'm good I'm good how are you keeping Joshua where are you joining us from joining you from Alta so there's that and yeah oh wow okay mashah right so Joshua all right share some thoughts with us how have you been and what's been preoccupying your mind alhamdulillah you've been good um let's
see so a lot lately but s the noise but yeah life has been interesting to be honest um haven't prayed as much and hoping he get better all things have been on my mind like learning more about my faith me I have I have learned a lot from you alah from your videos also I learned from your older videos like your Monday night videos which are helpful than you I think you lot for those videos oh shuk sh Allah
bless you but yeah one thing I am curious about though is why are some things so harsh with Islam you know like why are some Muslims against def defici of the prophets you know and defici of angels you know what I mean that's what I'm curious about sure it's a good question yeah yeah no absolutely yeah I mean how do you feel about that yeah no firstly Shan for sharing that and sharing your thoughts and even this this question so what is the you know why this is such a sensitive issue in Islam depicting the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and and then or by extension drawing Angels or doing things and why such heighten sensitivity I mean it's to the extent this is seen as blasphemy you know it's seen as uh so firstly we've got to understand that there's a number of things at play in this equation there's a number of elements we have to so one underlying factor is generally Islam it came as a kind of U an anti- idolatry movement but this is not by the way this is not the main thing but I'm just setting an undercurrent that there
is because it came with this backdrop of Simplicity and it came with an anti- idol an anti- idolatry uh underpinning so as to not have icons statues and so people for example in the time of the Prophet that was one of the ways that people fell into worship they worship statues but this is not actually the main reason why we're not allowed to depict the prophet now that reason is often cited and I'm not negating that that does not that does help cont that contributes to the
underpinnings of this attitude this kind of spirit but the ruling on why we don't actually depict the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam it's because it stems from this understanding that we cannot attribute anything falsely to the prophet so who ever has Associated a lie with me that the prophet said let him you know prepare his Abode in the Hellfire now what came of this was the fukah the scholars said that if you you see to
attri to associate a lie with the prophet one could be in words but it could also be in depictions because that's not him so if you drew the prophet and said look here he is but that's a lie because you know that that's not him like even if you've got good intention so this that whoever lied knowingly you know in in you know knowingly this includes people that did it for Good Intentions so you know there was the you know in the early Hadith uh movement as
people were in the second wave of thei uh you had a lot of the books of setting out who is a valid narrator who isn't now there were several people who you know were known fabricators of Hadith of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam and they would say that we don't lie you know we don't lie upon him like as in we lie for him so they would say that we lie in order to help the of it because people have turned away from such and such
things so this was I'll just you know I'll just momentarily just right so just momentarily just uh muted that so as to now they they would say that we don't lie against the prophet we lie for the prophet so they would you know so there was this huge um phenomenon where people were fabricating Hadith for the virtues of the Quran they said they felt that people have turned away from the Quran so let's make up Hadith now that was deemed equally Haram because even if the intention was good you're still associating a lie now so
this is the ruling another thing is the fact that you see in Islam we don't associate uh any kind of uh and this is from Muslims we don't associate any kind of blemishes intentionally people don't try to associate any any shortcomings with the prophet out of a courtesy of faith and out of our you know kind of passionate Iman towards the prophet now any drawing depiction knowing that it was not him is from one perspective seen as you're kind of associating you know that that this could be seen to to take
that box as well that there's some form of tanus some form of uh blemish or some shortcoming something you're doing in the drawing that is associated but these are the main reasons so one you have the Bedrock that in Islam idols and statues and uh these things were heavily frowned upon but then when it came to drawing the prophet the reason and the same thing with angels the reason was that yes okay with angels people did worship Angels but we don't believe in Islam if you let's say somebody drew the prophet that people are going to start worshiping the prophet because
obviously that's generally not going to happen but it is still associating a lie and a fabrication to the prophit intentionally so that's um to yeah shed light on that ah yes yes see sorry for the music I was just at a restaurant Eventing but um yeah I think answer my question thank you yeah you're most welcome one more question I want to ask is I heard this idea about being a fallen angel what's your take on that right El being a fallen angel yeah this is actually quite popular I mean it does come to us from the kind of
judeo-christian tradition um from the whole you know this whole concept of like Lucifer and this whole I do you know a while back I don't think I I'm not I don't think he got cut out into a separate I'll just mute this for a moment and I don't think it got cut out into a separate clip I'll have to check but there was a whole uh when I used to do the meaning with MMS uh there was an a whole episode on which I spoke of the morning star and Lucifer and the whole this kind of uh you know discourse and I went into elaborate
length and detail and showed a lot of you know there's a whole PowerPoint presentation as well so that that does exist but so people can try and find it uh on YouTube but briefly to kind of summarize that there is this you see who exactly or what exactly is El now there's many kind of um ways or perspectives on that generally looking we're looking at you know Satan the devil this is this is the concept now is this uh an actual entity now most people
would say it's an actual entity then who is this entity where was he from was he from the Jin was he from the Angels was he from so all of these views are going to exist you're going to find within the books of tap people will say from there will be for example he was an a fallen angel he was an angel you'll find this from the biblical tradition people have kind of inherited it doesn't say that in the Quran by the way or the Sunnah but people have inherited that from the is what we call the the kind of Christian judeo tradition that judeo Christian that he was a fallen angel so he's this
Angel who kind of rebels against God the other understanding you have is that noin that as the Quran there a verse of the Quran he was from the Jin he was from The Unseen so what what is this he was from the Jin and this is what what the sh continue to be to some muin saying that he uh he kind of embodies negativity and um I suppose um harm and diabolical actions throughout the world as in he's a
force for harm and evil so evil as a kind of force now some people had seen it a bit like that as well so you've got in for in man and um you'll have have Rashid Ras exemplifying some of the people going into this discussion and highlighting the different approaches that people have looked at it the point is that in Islam we are taught that there is evil and then we are given this name El we're not told too much about
how and you know what is the the whole ontological reality of elbl we're just told of the this act of uh aberration from the righteous path and now you can take from that and make from that what you will so some people did take the Fallen Angel Lucifer kind of some people took now the Quran does say can Jin now it's interesting that Imam noi and other people who say no he was still a fallen angel they say can Jin here doesn't mean from the Gin Jin that we think of when we say Jin they say that Jin here is just a word being used to refer to a
group of angels who they were calling the Jin so a lot of people take interpretation on you know whichever perspective but inshallah it's been uh Joshua and absolute pleasure shukran for joining us and sharing your thoughts yeah I hope to join more lives again but yeah nice to see you sure Shan Allah bless you take caream alaykum people Joshua uh some fascinating thoughts questions right I'll share out the link again if you will need to have your live
cam and mic ready and at hand so if you can have that switched on it'll bring you in and as I can see you then I can bring you on I was thinking of keeping this a a uh relatively uh should we say relatively brief allahar you know I I'll share with you some thoughts and research that I've been getting into as well I was
curious you on a separate note I I just saw that on the screen here um what on Earth is is up with all these Airlines being sabotaged all of a sudden and jeopardized you know all of a sudden just every other it's like so there just so much happening it's just wow Ya Allah Ya Allah some interesting research that I was exploring is that what if some of psychosis is in fact A Spiritual
Awakening so and I'm not saying all because clearly there would be mental health but what if some of it was in fact that people had access to that you know this kind of the bar space that they could see uh um a kind of like glances or glimmers of
that was accessing them in this wakeful state now what if that was then interpreted or that is seen as psychosis because it wouldn't make sense yeah that really got me intrigued and I was really looking into that at one point and I remember watching a few different lectures and there was a lecture there was a TED Talk actually called psychosis or Spiritual Awakening and I remember watching that as well so there's a bunch of stuff there is on
YouTube and then I started exploring this topic but it was interesting in that talk the the person the speaker the researcher he mentions that several cases and one of them was was for the I think the chief Shaman or like the right-and man to the Dalai Lama and and he mentions that this person who was this kind of Chief Shaman that they had an old man and he's the right-and man to the Dalai Lama that this researcher asks him that how did you get to this position
and get here and he says that actually he says that this began in childhood that I started experiencing um what we would call today some elements of psychosis and he says and I freaked out and I thought I was going mental and you know I was really in a state of heightened anxiety and he says and this elder man came and and he kind of stumbles upon him and and you know take him under his wing so to speak and tells him that that's
not actually you know what you have is actually a gift and he in he he trains him to harness that power so as to become the lead Shaman for the Dalai Lama and and so you know decades later in his old age he is this man of heighten Prestige and it's amazing how the trajectory you know because one could almost see in a parallel run of the simulation so to speak in a parallel life that this person as an old man is
just an old man who's like a crazy old man in the village he's seen as a mental you know that a mad man who lives in the village but in this parallel in this world in this simulation it panned out that he is this man of Great Value and PR pres and you know he is the rightand man to the Dalai Lama and a shaman that has these transcendental experiences that he um guides and therapized people through so it's it's really got me thinking and I thought wow I did I thought you know it's
interesting from our Islamic perspective because our tradition would would incorporate that kind of positive approach but it's seldom found except in some you know with some kind of um almost touched um out of it sufis in certain remote parts of the Muslim world this approach is is seldom embraced so most it's it's fascinating because the Islamic tradition Embraces this this narr like
this kind of reasoning and uh this realization can easily fit in and is part of our belief system but because our Outlook is so negative because we would you see most Muslims would let's say if they were to go away from uh if they were to say this is something Supernatural um you know if it was something super rational let's say so it's not mental health they would then go to say this is the
gin and the shtin now the problem with saying that this is the Jin and the shtin is the very onset is negative nothing good can come from that experience if if you were to believe that a person was possessed by a devil or a demon or a Jin now there's nothing good that going to come out of this experience because the whole ontology the whole you know offshoot is in a very shanic angle whereas if you were to look at this that the person isn't possessed or
they're not in but what if they are in this way because we are all connected to the bar at all times it is the Deep unconscious that's where we go when we sleep that's where we dream that's where things are happening in the bar the you know the the the the Divine decree is manifesting the coding is changing risk is increasing angels are interacting what if because this world is it's it's like a holographic principle it's a manifestation of the
bar now what if some people in a wakeful state it's almost like es that they have of what is the Barak realm that they glitch and they can kind of see it or they can hear things or they can but not all the time but what if suddenly almost like a channel tuning in you know in the olden days the interference so what if they if trained how to harness that power that they
had some you know a a glimpse into the dream state but whilst being wakeful so yeah this was really and so it got me thinking Allah Allah so this is where my thoughts go sometimes you know when I'm sitting there ah and the mind [Music] wonders as John Elia
says says hi hi hi hi Allah Allah Allah he says that water we he says John you know what you know he says what kind of did us over or we were done on to in life was because
we we had a path we were kind of solo Travelers on this path people who are in their own company John that this this being in my own company this preference or this attitude he says this is what what created the situation that it did he
says says and what is it that we've actually ever achieved in this world he says in summary it was this says you know we just let time go by I guess we we kind of I I don't know how with Kar that we passed maybe we could one even say enjoyed our days or yeah I don't know it's it's a fascinating one um right so let's see this brings some of you we've got centrin healing guys if you did want to join in I'll the link
again you will need to activate your camera and right lonetta Allah Allah oh Al lonetta drop me a message on Insta I was there was a few people I was going to message and I realized slipped my you know on the messages so when you get a chance drop me a message there and I'll reach out to you right right
so all right so let's just alikum cing heing ASMR masallah where are you joining us from I'm in Indiana Oh Indiana mallah well shukran for joining us and yeah is it centrin that's what I've got here centrin healing ASMR and is that like an actual you heal through ASMR well it was just the name I wanted
to start a YouTube channel but that didn't I didn't really start on it so yeah oh well so so cin share with us some thoughts or ideas that are preoccupying your mind or what is it if there's something else you'd like to share yeah I had a question um I wanted to know I wanted to get some advice um I my family's background is heavily and the TN cult and I don't agree with
that then I got attracted to the copies and that was another extreme that really overwhelmed me now this is the kind of hegan Hegel you know where you go from extreme to extreme Society has a a situation and it produces its antithesis and then it synthesizes it into a new one and produces that anti just oscillating yeah yeah so it's kind of overwhelming because it's like okay I'm 26 and I feel like I should know more than I do know right now and I just feel like I don't know where I fit because I know I don't agree with
both extremes I feel like I take the good from both sides but I just don't know where I fit no no that's I think that's beautiful that look you know Allah says those that those who believe that when they hear something that they follow that which is the best of it and I think in your case it's there's almost like these two extremes as well so you're not just even speaking about people who are Sufi or people who are you know on one hand you've got the Tani which is uh you know I suppose known and and then on the
other hand you've got the copy kind of understanding of very black and white binary code and you see so here's here's my thoughts first of all with the whole um Sufi thing and you see I'm not part of any particular at all um I have in later years in my life really come to appreciate the not just appreciate is an underwhelming word just really I don't know been brought back to
life I could say with the the mysticism that has been that has that has been that has been well preserved within our tradition now that generally speaking the tradition of that let's say of the mystics of these people it is within the greater Sufi kind of backdrop but I felt at the same time and I've said this to people that it's there's almost a cognitive dissonance you know in fact I I said
this to somebody and um and and I'll use this as example to almost take it away from the Tani example because I don't want to just circle in on a particular group but I was recently I was having a conversation with somebody and they asked me look what um you know the Indian subcontinent the Asian South Asian uh they said do you you know they asked me do you listen to many uh U uh speeches and things and I said I don't actually I don't but I said I do listen to one speaker I mean maybe occasionally I might stumble upon something and I might watch it but I
don't generally go out repetitively seeking those things but I said there is one person and and I gave and I say his name molana suan misbahi and I said and you know for me this person he just speaks of like doing good and and there's so much love in his um and I just I feel Allah a sense you know a deep sense of sincerity that touches my heart and I said and I listen to this every now and then whenever I can like if I'm maybe I'm on a drive maybe sometimes I'm going to the graveyard to visit my mom
or something and I just listen to it and I said and I find it so wow like it touches my soul it makes me want to be a better person but then I said but I'm so surprised like you take the Sufi like generally the sufis in India are called uh br now I said you take the Su the braies of places like Pakistan let's say as an example this was my conversation with this person I said look at like I listen to this speech of this particular who I I I
really you know adore this sh what his words uh they're so meaningful for me Solan misbahi but I said now you would think that a culture that has this as commonplace would have so much love right but yet this very group and the person I'm speaking to is also Bry that you know we this isn't an antagonistic conversation it's a very friendly conversation I said yet they're at each other's throats you know they there's so much hate and so much they're attacking that within themselves I'm not even talking about other
sects and I said and I find it like a cognitive dissonance that on paper or not in paper on in theory this you know this whole Sufi thing is all about love but in practice there's so much control so much institutionalization so much almost sectarian even cult likee attitudes and so what I didn't this is just bringing it back to what I was going to say with
my where I how I see the Sufi practice the broader Sufism that we have you see ice and and these gems which I do appreciate of these great um Mystics and and their Traditions within Islam which I feel is the understanding ofan I to me this is like in Surah where Musa am and they bury the treasure under the wall for the orphans so the orphans all along have the
treasure so it's there but they don't know it's there it's buried within so you know to them it's just a wall this is what the hell what use is this wall but you know what it's preserving is that a time may come or maybe for some people like in in in Surah Ka that as this wall ironically
dilapidator bling would reveal a treasure from within so you know metaphorically speaking I feel that that that's what we have in this broader tradition that there's this treasure hidden underneath but we've got just this a lot of this wall which people yeah so but and and you know and then I suppose on the other hand you've got the the binary let's say uh copy approach and I guess you oscillating between them is opposites as well and so it would create a bit of a
yeah it would add to your roller coaster experience right so where do you find yourself now and what what do you just like you just just on your own in at your own pace just learning and and just taking what's what what you can digest because it's just like I don't know where I fit because I know I'm not I can't call myself PN I can't call myself phy and I'm just trying to find out where I would fit because I see the good in both and then I see the bad in both yeah no absolutely no shukran
absolutely and Allah bless your journey and you know this to to be honest sentan this is what it often just is you know it's look it's our experience of the world of this journey of you know as the Hadith says that that Allah says he become he was the Eyes by which you see it's this journey this this story this first person story it is incredibly invaluable and Allah is seeing it in real time through our eyes as the Hadith
says that we and we are experiencing things along the way and you know sometimes disheartened sometimes excited enthusiastic sometimes you know dismayed sometimes hopeful and and and it is a journey and we don't you ever find yourself on either ends of the spectrum or like I I that's that's a good question I did um I think with me I'm I suppose I'm grateful that it was early on as I was studying so I you know I started
studying I I was just a teenager so I'm you know just 17 I started studying now at that time I went into harsh extremes and I went into this pure this kind of Puritan um you know and every you don't wear clothes like this you don't wear a shirt or a t you only wear a th you only you know you do this you can TV is always Haram everything's like this every you know I went in but I was probably only 17 at the time and maybe and then going into 18 and then 18 and
then I'd gone off to Damascus to study you know this whole thing like I I I went super aesthetic and you know you don't things should be simple you shouldn't even you shouldn't even sleep on a bed I felt because the sahaba didn't sleep on beds we should sleep on the floor so I just had a little sleeping bag I would just sleep in my sleeping and this is in the UK so it's it's you know it's like a uh sounds silly and funny to say it now but I went through that and I remember being you know very upset with some of my family members when I say family at that
time siblings that why do you watch TV this is Haram you know like and being like all and I'm so glad it happened if it had to happen it happened at that age right cuz you know when you grow out because at that age nobody takes you seriously anyway but if I if I was doing it now in my 40s I mean for God's sake the lives I would impact and Destroy probably beginning with my kids and so I think you know and so it's one of those things that yeah you know it's a bit like uh I
suppose it's a bit it's a bit like maybe falling romantically in love that people say that that the earlier it happens or the later it happens in life the worse it is a bit like measles getting measles as an older person would be like a nightmare but having it as a kid ah it's okay you know they get get through it and they get through chickenpox and it's all good so I think it's a bit like like that so I'm I'm in hindsight really grateful that if you know I mean I am very grateful I went through it as well because I then can identify with what people are going through and I can
identify the sincerity because I was sincere when I was doing it I wasn't like being insincere I wasn't being like I genuinely felt that oh my God this person's going to go to hell for doing this what's wrong with them why aren't they listening to me why are they not you know like I felt that and obviously I was just a kid but and I'm but I have that that memory I have that oh like I know what I was experiencing so when I see people I can I think like I do know what they're going through but you know sometimes it's difficult I guess because how do you if a person has been like that for
decades that's the problem because how do you then shift that uh thinking uh you see one way is they have to that they have to start to like my advice would be to anybody experiencing this kind of thing is to start off by just just I want you to slightly just reframe just take a you know a slight step back reframe our understanding of Allah that Allah is not this kind of
accountant who is you know you you know this person oh what did he do he did Allah is infinitely he is unimaginably merciful and loving like the amount of times in the Quran Allah says in in in Allah loves Allah loves Allah he never once says Allah hates now you
say no it says okay the anger the wrath of Allah falls on these particular perpetrators that did that couple of time never is used like that in in that sense the way we find Allah loves before [Music] every that we are like it is this is why I do love that Hadith that Allah says that he sees through like through us he sees our experience our world that he was the Eyes by which you saw he was the Hand by
which you grasped he was the ear by which you listen but you just weren't aware you know we were we just weren't aware now if you see and think of it like this like imagine imagine you your children if you have anybody who has children if and let's say they've got or if they or if they haven't got children but let's say they've got a a a reasonably good relationship or a loving relationship with their own parents or one of their parents imagine that parent whether it's you or your own
parent had an option like here the child is hurt like what what would the reaction of the parent be like how would a parent ever like imagine they they were given a choice like there's an accident or there's a suffering but if you want this could all go away would you like it to go away well like what would your mother say what would you say about your children you know it's like I think sometimes like it's crazy like I'll share this that you know like
as my kids now grow so uh my eldest uh Leila is 13 and my second is 10 um um Zozo zor and then I've got a menace which is probably the devil incarnate at the age of two a right if you ever want to understand what the Gin are you just have to see that honestly re's Havoc wherever she goes right completely ruined I've to redo I spent this whole last month redoing our entire bathroom she just flooded you know we've got the shat the
toilet shower flooded our bathroom on so many occasions she destroyed the whole so I guess but in any case you know I I like a couple I remember now it doesn't happen as much it doesn't but Zara couple of times before when she was let's say two three years ago so she'd probably been about 8 or seven uh sometimes she would be ill not even seriously ill just like a cold and I remember going and just checking and you know she'd be and I remember thinking damn you know like you know she's she
had this runny nose and i' would think you know what let me go get some soft tissues just put them by her bed because if she was to wake up and then she can't find some tissues or something so if if you think this is the ra the Rah that Allah has placed in the hearts of humans and he infinitely loves us more than a mother could love their child infinitely more so if a mother like if you can't as a parent even like even a little inconvenience troubles you let alone
pain why Allah would never like you know the if your mother was given a choice to to stop any suffering you could have then Allah loves us infinitely more than our mothers do now this is the Bedrock of Iman see once you understand that you these other things start to you know it's like the filter changes so you feel that H like I understand these rules I understand these principles I understand these guidelines but really it's nested in this love it's not nested in this hey I'm going to take
you to account you know almost this Stern you know this image of the stern father that was my problem with the sophies is like every little thing oh Hellfire and you at the B of Islam and everything is very everything is so there's this image and it's fascinating that look um you know is so keen on this on the imagery in Islam and he says it's actually should be used to our strength we many people project the image of the stern father but if anything you would
associate the that the the you would associate the Divine engagement with the merciful loving mother than the stern father notice Islam never encouraged the word father for God but the Hadith said that the womb is taken from rman that that Rim means the womb so it's interesting that Rahman which is all the time repeated is related to the word womb for for
mother so if anything if if you had to lean rather than the way the Christians or some of the the people in West lean towards the stern father as the image of God I don't mean as an image I'm I'm speaking very Loosely don't not for anybody viewers to misunderstand this but the attitude they had towards the that God you know like this old the dad comes home children are you know to be seen and not heard and this kind of you know if they're in trouble he spanks them out of love he's that firm father he loves them but he beats them
this if this if anything if you had to make a binary you know inclination it would be towards the loving mother rather than the stern father because Islam never gave that image that the that our Lord is like our father although this is prevalent because we kind of inherited it from the judeo-christian thing but really Islam constantly said about if anything the the kind of almost the divine feminine uh and I don't so if anything you get it going towards leaning towards the divine feminine of saying [Music]
rman all of these things loves you more than your Mother Loves You this this whole thing is constantly that it it kind of leans in on that side but yeah shukran for sharing uh this with us centering and allowing us to have this conversation and really discuss this it's I hope I do feel actually this will be of much benefit to to people taking my question shukran you're very welcome and Allah bless you in your journey aanam Alik people centering from uh
oh forgotten but from the from the US right all right people let's you know on that amazing note let's wrap this up it's been an absolute pleasure um I will inshallah start doing doing a lot more lives um I know I say this but you know this is the spirit that we it doesn't matter how many times we say it we say it again and we do it again you know and it doesn't matter if we've said it so many times and so got distracted we come back again you know this whole thing of coming back
again coming back again and yeah I'd been so preoccupied with stuff and I was sharing this of the the Havoc that I had to deal with at home but yeah but it is amazing that I guess children I suppose when they're young they keep you is it is it that they keep you young because you have to run after them right Allah bless you all um I am going to uh wrap this up I will say those of you that do um want to reach out to me I will be doing by the way I will be doing more mind traps I want to
share as well I got hold of some fascinating books actually uh fascinating commentary on the M uh by a classic Indian subcontinental scholar uh one of the uh from the progeny of uh um M Abdul hak Dei and that looks really exciting I want to share that and also got hold of by the great Maliki Don uh Al Abdul uh not you have you have ABD and you have Abdul the Sicilian and I got hold of
that it's really I'm excited about that so I will share I will be doing the Mind traps I will be doing um you know I I want to do at least once a month a Meetup but also I do have regular meetups on my Discord we usually have at least two a month if not and those have been going on you're more than welcome to head over to patreon.com and be a part of that Caravan as well um it does have different subscriptions and one of the options is to have onetoone consultations for those who want that
once a month and a kind of uh you know just to help navigate them through whatever is this journey of life that they're going through so that's I don't think it's going to let me uh show it here but yeah it won't so that is uh at patreon.com Mel other than that it's been an absolute pleasure people as you can see look even Al lonet has said not going to lie been missing the lives yes it is true you know we haven't been uh but sometimes you know the journey still
goes on even if we've not um a lot of things have been happening they've been happening in the world they've been happening um all around us there a lot of suffering going on and we make dwar for people there was a question somebody had made a uh oh look muy they're growing up they are they are honestly it's freaky as well but it's like whoa life I guess there was
a um Muslims are celebrating the burning of La then they're engaging in the evil contest of collective punishment that Israel are engaging in with Gaza and the Palestinians I thought I wanted to share this I saw this whilst I was talking it's a very powerful uh point that Mark lonetta has made here because it is true and and although in some cases I think many of us and I I do you know uh we do feel a sense of um there's uh there's a celebrity what is it James or something who was saying let the
Palestinians burn and die and you know no ceasefire no um and then his home had burnt down so he was crying like a baby on um and don't get me wrong anybody anything happening to their lives or Jeopardy would make a person cry and and that's not why I'm criticizing him I'm criticizing him for how he had no Humanity when it came to to I believe even shared pictures of babies and women dying and being bombed in Gaza with a sense of ah like kill them all he said
hashtag and then I do feel like in cases like that it does bring a kind of ha you know like a sense of divine Justice or you know coming around that in like the in that the justice of Allah may be you know it may have a delay but it does not it is not oblivious or forgotten so so in cases like that I can understand that people do feel that that how do these people so brazenly um mock the dead babies and the
dead families and the uh and how do they so openly share these things I mean there's no you know interpretation there they're very openly saying Kill Them All kill them kill them I want you to kill them you know it's not a a person saying something and saying oh I didn't mean it that way came off that way saying it very no I mean this kill them and and then something like this happens to them and and it's almost like Gone full circle but that said this point that uh
lonetta made was that and I think that's uh that the overall see generally these wildfires in La when they're consuming and so if people think ha and I'm not talking about that person specifically or people specifically that were targeting Palestinians targeting the children of Gaza and then it's happened to them because I think it's only human to feel that there's a kind of divine retribution but generally seeing that let's say la is in Fire and Flames and people going
hahaa I totally agree that even if people are falling into this that they must that the verse of the Quran says and Allah says that do not let the animosity of a people lead you to Allah Allah that it lead you to being unjust that be just Allah says that even if you have like let's say I don't like a people in general I'm not talking about specific
people who targeted Palestinians I'm talking about generally a people like let's say feel oh I don't like these people now because I don't like them this has happened to them and now I'm going around doing this uh believing in Collective punishment all of a sudden then Justice is states that that's true that we we have to stand corrected and even if we feel that sentiment we you know that we come back we revolve to the we turn back to the truth that that is uh a shortcoming in us it is you know I guess we're all you
know we're human All Too Human and and this is a Frailty it is a weakness it is you know when we if we if we Revel in a kind of collective punishment and maybe we're all a part of this and I include myself in this so seeing that comment I stand corrected myself as well from within if I felt any sense of and I think this is the thing about Iman the faith it is like magnetic north it brings us back right people with that I'm going to wrap up today it's been an absolute pleasure seeing you guys I pray uh that
you all are well and somebody said about the uh the Discord what is your advice to the malikia of Pakistan Allah abbar right so yeah um what I would say is that I've just shared here the the link for the Discord thing that the people asked in the comments um yeah I think the school of Medina it's you know one of the it is just a joy and a Gem of Islam allahar soan do study stay in touch with sidal
uh reach out to me is that bad Jamal reach out to me on Instagram and I'll connect and and if you're not already connected with uh sh sidal he does teach people I think yes the school of Medina has so much to to offer right people Allah bless you all remember me in your kind as well
