Let's do a brief uh appearance [laughter] uh lightning flash appearance. It won't be you know we'll keep it reasonably brief. I just thought look the whole world is speaking. So thoughts that are going on in our minds you know um Pakistan something on the minds of many people right now I thought yeah why don't we have a little chat about that
[laughter] [gasps] yes of course of course moy important And I thought I'll just give my take I guess on what's going on. And um and there were just one two of the questions that I'd had as repeat questions and I thought well they are very relevant since it's Ramadan and I'll just take that and that's it really and then we'll wrap this up.
All right. Let's see first of all who do we have here just we've got Nora all the way from Florida Rizaban Lucy A from Wales I believe Azim Maliku Abdul Abdul Bet al- Metun well I thought Jedi Master Le went to I have gone into seclusion.
I thought jello you know it's just that so many people are all speaking about it and it's relevant and then I thought why not huh jello why not poro poreno right so [sighs and gasps] bismillah people let's jump straight into the thick of it So, as you're all aware, [laughter] there's a hell of a storm that's been brewing in Pakistan
and I'll give a a brief synopsis and then why I think you know why even share thoughts on it and then maybe just slightly unpack and unwrap a bit of it. So Imran Khan, the the prime minister, the ex-p prime minister has been ousted and removed by a vote of no confidence.
This has triggered a storm and a sensation. It's become a sensation and um and everybody's, you know, I think everybody has caught wind of it. People are glued to it. they have gravitated towards it. Other people have questioned why why does this even make a difference? Why is it even important?
Um some people have asked you know why why are Pakistanis who or let's say British Pakistanis or European Pakistanis or American Pakistanis or Canadian Pakistanis why why why are they so interested in it and um they're hardly as interested in their local politics as they are in this. So why porquet?
All right. So that's what we're going to take a look at. But let's take a brief summary of the events. So people as you know Imran Khan uh the famous cricketer who you know worldrenowned incredibly stylish uh personality who achieved the world cup in cricket for Pakistan in ' 92 and has ever since had not just uh he's been up there for most people as an inspiration and just a very charming charismatic personality.
uh he was known for philanthropic projects or previously prior to his political career in Pakistan he has the Shokat Khan hospital for cancer treatment which is the most effective I believe and leading cancer therapy hospital in Pakistan and it's just relies on donors and it relies on uh and things like this and I I believe if people are poor they there's a criteria that they're eligible for treatment and Pakistan doesn't really provide that as a state.
So you you had this already taking place. Now he entered his um uh his his career of politics a couple of decades ago with not much success but resting it on the fact that Pakistan's politics is deeply nested in dynastic nepotism.
So you just have these few families that have been ruling Pakistan between themselves and it's become this feudism you know this kind of feudal tribal rule and they were the boss and um so you've had from Zulfikar who Zulfikar Ali Bhau but then his daughter Benazir Bhau who and then you've had her husband Zardari and then now Bilawal Bau and this and this is not just a family.
This is a I mean these are like oligarchs that that that have kind of deeply anchored themselves into incredible resources of the country and wealth a deep plethora of wealth. I mean these people are ridiculously rich. I mean that's how and the and the question obviously is where does that money come from? It doesn't just come you know it comes from the country that they've been looting and parallel to them you've had so they they have been the people's party and parallel to them you've had uh Muslim League or Pakistan Muslim League because Muslim League was originally set
up in India when it was the question of partition and they set up Congress and then Muslim League was the the parallel party and when Pakistan was made you had Pakistan Muslim League and then they had a splinter and Noah Sharif's party is known as Pakist Pakistan Musl Muslim League or for No Sharif and this Sharifan Sharif what an oxymoron because it means somebody that's you know of uh that that that is of of of honorable and uh character and somebody that has
you know great not just nobility but uh so like they they they they're very ethical person. [laughter] Nothing no res not announced to be found in the Sharif family themselves. These people, another family that have just, you know, they've just reigned supreme for uh the past few decades. Wealth has just been kind of circulating between them.
Uh they own ridiculous mills, sugar mills, steel mills, you name it. I mean just land, feudal land and um industry. These are huge industrialists of Pakistan. And the question is they weren't they didn't inherit that wealth from the forefathers. They just took it as they occupied power within Pakistan.
So, and just to give you an an example, um Noah Sharif, he he had uh these the whole he was embroiled in the whole Panama leaks and huge I mean, you know, we're talking ridiculous funds that have been siphoned off into these offshore accounts. He was then sentenced [laughter] to, I believe, 10 years imprisonment in Pakistan in 2018.
um and then further sentenced again for um I think was it $25 million fine or something. This is all a result of his corruption. U they've had so many things levied against him. He owns uh certain industrial mills in Saudi Arabia. He's always had great ties with Saudi Arabia.
Um and it's this kind of sickness that the the growing middle classes of Pakistan and the common person the workingclass majority of Pakistan have recognized that we don't really you know these people don't really care about us and it's to remove this you had Imran Khan set foot into politics because he didn't have a political background.
So he sets foot into this, you know, this whole storm, this of a mess in front of him and initially just ridiculed and uh without much success. But over the last two decades and especially the last decade his popularity began to increase especially amongst the the middle class and the youth that somebody his whole party was called the uh you know insaf it was the movement for justice and since then fast forwarding he's had I mean pro previously I I can't remember I
think in the early uh was it something like 2013 or something. I think he won something like 30 seats in parliament and Pakistan's parliament. Um it has 300 and I think what is it 44 seats or something but it has something like that as seats and and and you can see it just had a small amount like a tenth um of that but in 2018 but due to multiplicity of reasons um one people were just so fed up with what was going on and Noah Sharif was
was really being uh he It was in the papers. The two parties were obviously at at loggerheads with each other. They were just lambasting one another with just claims and insults. And whilst this is happening, Noah Sharif also has a fallout with the army which really Pakistan everybody knows that Pakistan is pretty much you know nothing happens without the establishment being the army.
And so he has a huge fallout and he claims that he will declare you know reveal uh national secrets to the public and stuff like this. And you can imagine that's not a nice thing to say to the army who are pretty much in control. So in the 2018 elections, Imran Khan becomes he has a sweeping success.
Uh and he finds himself with I think was it 155 seats or something or he but to have a majority you need 172 seats. So even though he is the largest party there was in the whole parliament but he was not the majority. So then he he got a few So he got a few um minor groups and minor parties and made some alliances as you often do a coalition with some smaller groups and
won them across and then got some over 172 seats which was what was needed. So that's since 2018. It was a huge uh success. Things are going one could say you know wonderful people were celebrating it but then Pakistan goes through some difficult times. Those of you that remember there was the war with India that almost kicked off and um and then shortly after COVID which really struck the whole world and so just problems after problems and the opposition which were these parties it wasn't enough.
Imran Khan had made it his mission to rule out corruption. Now he did come in with some major claims like I will bring justice. I will do this. I will do that. The problem with these big claims is they're always difficult to to to show quick success in these kind of um major claims because it's just often like how do how do you demonstrate change in um
right um right um sorry just one moment Right. So, [cough and clears throat] sorry that's for a guest to try and bring on a guest as well. Right. So, um um coming back to I lost my train of thought there.
So what he did is he made it very clear that these corrupt politicians were going to bring back the money from them that they've robbed from the nation. And he made it his mission, rightly so, to bring these people to justice. So they've been constantly chased, pursued, harassed, arrested, imprisoned on charges of corruption, multiple charges, and they need to return millions and they need to justify taxes and and and he has allowed them certain deals.
if you pay so much I'll you know give this to you but they've not done that and so they've been in either in prison on bail Noah Sharif had claimed his health was poor so he needed to go to the UK you know he he was claiming the the platlets within the the plasma or something were going up and down and so [laughter] in Pakistan a lot of people were saying no he's saying [laughter] he was platelet and they were saying so [laughter] which sounds hilarious.
It means the plates haven't got enough food. So uh right so uh [snorts] right now so that's what's been going on recently with uh lockdown things were an issue but Pakistan was actually uh um it was a role model for for for the global community in how to tackle lockdown because Imran Khan had introduced something called smart lockdown or targeted lockdown which actually later on countries like the UK and the world
over people adopted but most of it actually began in Pakistan or was and this he was praised by United Nations for this for tackling COVID and and then after the year after once again bringing the GTP GDP GDP back to I 2 point something% and then rising again and so all this has been happening and the opposition who hate each other. What they've managed to do is make a new coalition as in the Quran when it speaks about the aab [laughter] the coalition man the axes axis of evil.
So these people who've hated each other with a dire passion, they've made a group called PDM, which is the um which is their group, right? So that so it's uh it's the public democratic movement or something but it's it's basically a coalition of all these parties who can't stand each other considering they may have even been responsible for murdering one another at certain point because Benazid BH was assassinated and um you know the uh the other party were they responsible was it an inroup I don't
know people have speculated all sorts so these people who've insulted each other who've done years, decades of deepseated, visceral hate campaigns have suddenly all combined, including Molana Fuzman, [laughter] you know, the one you always see with the orange uh pugi that is molana or fuzman who honestly I don't know how on earth this person um you know, but anyway, he he is there.
So he's got a religious party. They've joined with people like um you know Noah Sharif joined with the Bhs Bilaw BH who they're always because of his uh [laughter] not his his mannerisms and his speech is always uh shall we say well known renowned and and you've got other people you've got like the Bloi movement parties you've got the Aul Hadith movement part you've people who've got nothing to do with it any like so from the extreme right to the extreme left to certain pure you could say almost
communist parties to to you everybody religious parties secular parties you name it they've all come together just to stand against Imran Khan so that in itself I have to say is quite telling so okay now Iran Khan naturally look the question isn't that is Iran Khan some kind of [laughter] saint which he clearly isn't.
And you know is he someone that is um you know is this something what is it that's special about him? Well, what's special is that he's simply raised a voice against corruption in a part of the world which has for decades only been submerged in dynastic oligarchy.
That's all. And every person that's come coincidentally their family have become billionaires [laughter] whilst Pakistan has just sunken deeper and deeper into debt and it's just you know this inflation and and and so all sorts. So it's not about is this person a saint. It's about people are fed up and they want to change.
So now you fast forward what's happened last year. Um the opposition they'd made all these kind of uh demonstrations and then Iran Khan last year called for a no confidence vote. He called it and he won with 172 uh seats whatever which was the majority. Now what's happened this year is you know the additional few that I mentioned that Imran Khan needed to become a majority many of them have been have kind of defected and then there's been leaked recordings of them being bought out so they actually being offered cash like we'll pay you this much if you jump ship
and these recordings are all they they're available they've been leaked and it began with maybe a handful and Then it went to 20 and maybe 30 people jumped seats arguably and this became a huge hoo-ha and then the opposition started calling for a no confidence vote because now they know he doesn't have the majority.
So amidst all of this, what's happened is Imran Khan, he's he's claimed publicly that he has uh documents or a document that shows international meddling. most likely an American um you know communication that states to the opposition that they should now call for a no confidence v vote oust Imran Khan and if they do so this will that there's certain certain agreements with I what is claimed to be American that they will forego certain mistakes that have been made and they
will have a better alliance and something and so Iran Khan has waved this in public and and then the at the beginning of this month, the 3rd of April, there was meant to be a no confidence vote. The speaker in the house or the deputy speaker said, "Look, this foreign affairs are meddling in our country's political system. This is unconstitutional and we cannot have a no confidence vote." And Imran Khan called on the president who is pretty much just nominal in Pakistan doesn't really have much of a role but he's he's there as a as a nominal figure called on the president to dissolve the cabinet the
the you know dissolve the parliament and call for new elections which he did and so this happened and then Iran Khan was temporarily in place for the next 90 days there was to be a um a public election Because if Iran Khan allowed the parliament to vote, he was definitely out. Whereas the public are now um were were more in favor of Imran Khan, especially since he mentioned foreign involvement.
Now whilst all of this is happening a few days later uh the Supreme Court for some reason and surprisingly opens at midnight and it passes a ruling that Imran Khan dissolving the and the president dissolving parliament was unconstitutional and it must therefore be revoked and declared null and void and the parliament is instated immediately.
And as you can imagine, there was the no confidence vote that followed and Imran Khan was ousted. Right? So that's brought you up to speed. Right? So what what is going on and why has this caused a stir? Now you know there there's a lot of rhetoric.
Imran Khan has has kind of inflamed the spirit of revolution in people. He has made incredibly popular this rhetoric that these people are ch are det are dus these people are thieves they are people that have stolen that they are daylight you know there's robbery conducted by these people that's what they should be called corrupt and thieves this is now like a well-known like people clearly this is how they call these people And
you you've got uh footage of Noah Sharif in in London. Wherever he's going, people are saying ch. The other thing is Imran Khan has made it very clear in his rhetoric that look these people consider America to be the superpower because Nawash Sharif's elder brother Shabb Sharif who currently is the prime minister he in an interview when asked that look would you uh you know how would you reply to America and so on and he said well beggars can't be choosers Iran Khan had used this point and said see he considers us beggars so this has really caught on in the public sentiment that oh these people consider
us beggars. They don't really care about us. We are not beggars and we and Allah is the only superpower. Why should we bow down to America? People I can tell you I feel okay here's my take. I feel that it was a sheer luck. Honestly, this is what I feel. Oh, before I go into that, many people have also speculated that Imran Khan has fallen out with the army chief, General Baja, who wanted to who's already on an extended term.
So, his term was meant to have finished in I think two years ago, but he's on an extended term and is due to finish this year. And Imran Khan apparently didn't allow him to have an another extension, which doesn't really make sense because he's already gone beyond what he's allowed. And this had annoyed him and therefore the army were already a bit upset with Imran Khan for not basically towing their line and and you know doing his own thing.
He wasn't you see Imran Khan's not anti-armmy but he's just independent. He doesn't want them to dictate things. So some people have said well the only reason this no confidence happened was because the army were against Imran Khan now. And maybe there's some truth to that. Right? So all of this has happened. So I feel that this is really just honestly it's sheer luck. Had the opposition who were this PDM the the the azab the axis of evil had they allowed Imran Khan to just stretch to live out his normal political career which elections were due next
year. It's likely he may not have won. You see, because a lot of people were seeing expenses go up and they couldn't see what Imran Khan had done. Even though Imran Khan had done a lot, but you can't see the results imminently. You need, it takes time. So, it'll probably take 10 years before they can see something. And so, they were just saying, look, why has the price of this gone up? Why is the price of sugar gone up?
Why has this gone up? Oh, we're fed up with Imran Khan. And then every, you see, when you're in the spotlight, every mistake you make is highly visible. So these people were fed up and they were saying look uh you know we've what's going on here and so we want change and so Iran Khan was losing popularity then if you remember uh a while back with the whole when the ama had come out and not but Khadim Hussein Rizby had uh done his kind of blockade of Pakistan and especially the upper middle classes were very fed up with Imran Khan for not taking a you know like a a strict stance
against this and allowing the country to fall to pieces and so there was this air of somewhat dispondency towards Imran Khan but these people the opposition was in such haste [laughter] and no man you know you see they hadn't read the lesson and the hadith [laughter] you see when you when you try and be be hasteful this one it go wrong man it go wrong so in this haste they've made these
ridiculous blunders and as it happened Imran Khan mentioning foreign especially American involvement and it is true that the Americans were rather annoyed and ticked off with Imran Khan especially his Russian visit him striking a deal with the Russians when the world's trying you know when America's trying to boycott them and look at the end of the day he needs to think about his own country you know he doesn't need to just think about what you know what well are Europe happy with me or America happy so he struck some deals with I think gas and with uh wheat and things like this whilst he was there so this has annoyed
America and it's annoyed some of the European powers and so it is true they do want the opposition in so when He said that look look what's happening. It just struck a cord for some reason and it took off like wildfire right now. The revolution in Pakistan, the spirit for revolution is unprecedented.
I'm telling you this revolution, this spirit, the last time this spirit was probably felt was when Pakistan was seeking independence. Think of it like this. In over 70 years of Pakistan's existence, not one prime minister has completed a full term. Not one. Never has there been a reaction like this.
Never. something has happened in the collective consciousness. So people are asking well you know well well this is Pakistani politics but it's bigger than Pakistani politics and let me tell you why because look human beings want to be a part of something. They want to be a part of a movement.
They want to be a part that affects change and makes history. you know in the west right now in America especially and and and you have in Europe as well you'll have people you know this woke wokeism sometime on steroids and you'll have people fighting over oh we want pronouns we there should be 100 pronouns [laughter] who's going to memorize 100 pronouns we need the memory of Imam Bkari to [laughter] to be able to remember all these 100 pronouns for people.
But if you ask yourself why are people fighting over the these things like pronouns, the truth is they're not interested in pronouns even though that is the pretext. The truth is they want to fight for something but they don't have anything to fight for. So they fight for this because people want there is this need in us to be part of a movement that affects change that makes history that brings about civil rights that brings about justice deep within us.
Every one of our souls recognizes this, wants to be a part of it. And this is what's happening right now. So whether Imran Khan is going to you know he's not going to turn Pakistan into any kind of utopia and he's not going to but because he is standing up for justice you see no matter how dwindling and how incapacitated that justice looks in the face of injustice it is a a shining light and people have become inflamed.
they want to be a part of these and people worldwide want to be a part of change. So history is in the making. So this is why when people say oh you know but why is it Pakistanis in in the UK or in Europe are interested when they're not they're not interested in Bojo Boris Johnson and so this is not politics. This is greater than politics.
This is history in the making. [laughter] Wow. People, you know, in the words of Bazad Laki, [laughter] that is an epic poem rightly timed.
He says uh uh what's what's his final line? He says [laughter] people that is that is the spirit.
I'm telling you there is something in the air. There is a collective consciousness and the zeitgeist of the age and it can feel this. So this is why it's interesting what and I do agree that right now is the time for Imran Khan the true test because what is you know if because it's clear if there is an election which there must be at some point since his party has resigned and how can the parliament function without I think 120 or 130 people have resigned.
So he will with a sweeping victory win but and he's come out he's come out with demonstrations. His first gathering was unprecedented in Pashawar. So it's interesting you know what's going on and his true time has started now I feel for Iran Khan that how he stands up to stuff and he has to learn from previous mistakes and so it is testing people.
Those were my thoughts on Pakistan. Definitely an interesting topic. I will try to uh let me see if I can bring up as well. Um I have had uh let's see um because I am there is supposed to be a guest as well.
I don't know if I let me just refresh. Ah I've not seen H KSSO people. SSO, what is going on? What I'm going to do as well is I've got an a question that I did want to tackle. I'll take a look at some of your comments and um what I'll do is see this is you know when your devices are not all in sync then you've got to do this.
So let me give me one second. And what I want to take a look at is one two questions on on worship people and then we'll come to um okay let me see you naughty naughty you're trying to watch man All
right. So, okay. Let me just check your comments. Right. There were you know what actually I did have some this will be worth mentioning whilst I'm here. Um these were certain things because I asked you know I had to brush up my politics and stuff for Pakistan. So these were some of the things that Iran Khan had done in his three and a half years.
Um so Allah [laughter] hopefully there's no gupp in this that the highest ever exports in Pakistan history highest ever tax collection highest ever growth in largecale manufacturing increase in history. Do you know why this is? Somebody had mentioned to me, they'd explained to me that the reason the GDP was quite high uh previously was because what those governments were doing was they had uh decreased the tax for import.
And what they were doing was they were taking they were managing to do that by subsidizing certain things using the national reserve. and they were just taking debt. So this would keep the you know inflation and it would um allow people to buy in more but because they were importing more yes foreign countries were obviously interested if people are buying from them but it was almost useless to manufacture within Pakistan because it was too expensive.
So what Imran Khan did instead of what they were doing, he scrapped all of that and he subsidized export costs from the government. So people began manufacturing. So this is why it makes sense. Um highest ever foreign remittances what what that is. I'm not just going to highest ever increase in IT exports in history.
Acha. Pakistan startups raised 486 million of global capital since January 2021. Highest ever in history. Acha. So first time universal health care for all. The poorest of the poor now have access to health care in Pakistan. Okay. I'm once again I'm not sure but these largest ever loan and grant program to the unemployed youth in Pakistan's history.
largest ever poverty alleviation program. The ESAS program has been viewed as a success by national and international experts and is seen as a global model for poverty reduction. In 2021, World Bank doubled its assistance for the program seeing the progress. Okay. Largest ever house building and purchase loans to the poor in history.
10 dams under construction. Two of them Mohammad and Bhasha dams are mega projects to rival Mangala and Tarbella. COVID management unprecedented achievement to save jobs. And I mentioned the COVID thing is well known for Pakistan prevailing upon Turkish government to wave 200 kores car.
You guys are gonna have to figure that out yourself. um damages awarded by an international court against Pakistan. Common education syllabus to remove education apartheid. Highest ever foreign direct investment by a single company renegotiating RICO DIQ which is 11 billion penalty awarded. Okay. I don't know. Is this black or [laughter] I don't know man.
I'm being honest but I thought I'd read it. Uh imagine the net windfall of 21 billion. Okay, Pakistan's economy would have been devastated if we had to pay back the 11 billion fine. So, okay, he's managed to handle that. Eliminated largecale mega corruption at the highest level, which is true. Never before have such politicians and oligarchs been arrested and championed the cause of Islam and the prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and getting the UN to pass a resolution against Islamophobia declaring March the 15th as an international day against Islamophobia which is true.
He is the first person to get recognition for for that uh campaign against Islamophobia. Uh championing the cause of Kashmir. Okay. Um what else is there? So, so, okay. So, some of these are I don't want to be bgging, man. [laughter] But, you guys can investigate, but I I thought I'd read some out. You know, it's
So, look, I'll write some some people sending their love. Uh, super chats. Um, why are Christians treated badly in Pakistan? Let me try and find this. I'm trying to bring it up on the screen. Okay, I'll start with this one. I see you're building a good case for the beloved Imran Khan version on packed politics.
It's very simple, stupid and one side, mainly built by the PTI propaganda machine. Challenge you to a discussion on based on facts. [laughter] Challenge. Look, I want to say something. Look, people feel that just because he's a socialist, he cares for the common people, that this is somehow anti- capitalism. That's the biggest I'm telling you that is the best deception that the elite have managed to con the masses with is somehow trick them into thinking socialist
uh ideologies that those who care for the masses are somehow anti-progress. I'm telling you that is it's it's the biggest con that people have pulled over the eyes of of of the common people who the elite don't care about. So look, the truth is this. It doesn't matter. You could bring anyone and you put them in front of Nawash Sharif and these people who've just been look they don't care about people.
It's just it's just a family business. Where did they get their billions from? You know, I don't just wake up one day with a billion in my assets and accounts, man. So, look, I get it. People are saying, why are Iran Khan supporters appearing like uh, you know, dogmatic? And that's true, but for once, they've got some hope.
Enjoy. You see, because equally you'll realize the opposition are have been dogmatic for decades just feeding into an oligarch uh an oligarchy and a feudal and a tribal system. So yeah, I mean look, I'm not um you know a political analyst. I'm not somebody. But even the common person can see that you could bring anyone who stands for justice and they deserve they deserve definitely credit in the face of darkness.
You know, one candle is enough here. Let me just see the other super shukran. Much love for the super chat. I'm just trying to catch. There was some super chats and below it. Gio Gio much love. Much love. So um oh right there was an Arabian princess had sent a super chat and it seems to have disappeared.
Damn. Um oh no here it is. Uh Arabian Princess Shakaran Shakaran right much appreciated. Why are Christians treated so badly in Pakistan? And I saw a video where Christian nurse prayed to Jesus for a sick got beaten by their doctors and people from outside. Um yeah um I agree with you that in Pakistan there is unfortunately there is this um mob kind of mentality and there is a a a great sense of intolerance
unfortunately. That said, I don't think people they don't go about targeting Christians. And as far as I'm aware, and I know that Imran Khan, by the way, has spoken against this. He's done he's had certain campaigns. I don't know what the details of them, but I'm familiar that he has had certain things in place, a certain quot to represent them and things like this. But it is true.
I don't think people go out to target Christians, but it's very easy setting them a flame. Like they become triggered so easy. Oh my god, they insulted the prophet. Oh, let's go attack these people. Let's burn them. Let's do this. Let's do that. This is despicable. It has no place in Islam.
Um, it is it is the worst thing that people can do and especially Muslims who ought to be professing a love for the messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam who in the Quran is described as not Muslim. So how are they mirroring that rahma with this kind of intolerance and this is so it is it is true it is unfortunate and I do pray I hope you know there's there's more tolerance
uh worldwide worldwide and and I I so that's all I could could really say um you know I I hope things get better and people they really there are an increasing ing middle class um portion of society that are becoming fed up of this mentality, but only time will tell, right? So, where are we at, guys?
I I I we'll have a I've got a guest, Shaq. Big Shaq, arrive from Birmingham. I'm going to bring him on uh just shortly. I want to just answer a question before get that out the way. Uh I've been asked about salah and I've been asked about fasting as well. So these two questions. So first of all s because we are in Ramadan is very relevant. [snorts] You see, look, I I want to just this is just a suggestion I guess because some people had messaged me as well saying that look I got some messages on Instagram and um
a few people asking with look the difficulty they're facing in Ramadan and and I get that and sometimes some people don't want to fast and some people say look they're not fasting and some people they lose size they say we lose size when we go to the gym you know I wanted to get doc uh uh Dr. Imran Khan on for this because he did a podcast and um it's available. I'll I'll try and share the link for it and and he spoke about how and he's a that's his field and he's obviously a bodybuilder as you can see and and he runs a gym but he's also as as a medical expert on uh bodybuilding and sports.
He's explained how it's almost impossible to lose size what people are worrying about in 30 days. Sure, you lose sugars and different things, but look what I wanted to say for people who are worried about, oh, I'm going to lose size when I go to the gym. I mean, I don't go to the gym. I don't or I'm going or I'm going to lose something else.
I want you to flip the perspective. You see, it's all about how you look at something. You know there's a quote that everybody's in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars. You see it's all about where you how you see you cast your mind onto something.
Think look in life we will all at some point face circumstances that we are that are out of our control and they force us to compromise with something. It may be health, it may be situational, it may be workrelated, it may be sleep deprivation, it may be hunger, it may be an injury.
We will all experience this invariably at some points in our lives. In those circumstances, one has no choice but to give in. You have to give in. You tough. Don't like it? Tough. You know, you've hurt your back. You've had an injury. You've tough. It is what it is. What are you going to do about it? You know, somebody's lost their job.
What are they going to do about it? You see, think of Ramadan as a potential to practice the discipline of letting go, surrendering willfully when you're not strong armed, when you're not forced.
See, whatever's gone will come. [laughter] If you're worried that people, oh, I'm going to lose size, I don't go to the gym, or I'm worried I'm going to, it will come back and much more. Practice the art of just surrendering Islam as
surrender. Let go. And it's okay. [laughter] And you'll soon realize that actually those those kind of um the rat race that you were caught up in, it's a relief to let go.
So see this, it's just a shift in perspective. just flip the perspective that wow I actually get to just let go in this month and you will see and and by doing that you see this is a discipline that hopefully you can project onto the rest of the year and then your life because you will in at some points in your life face circumstances that are out of your control and you will exercise this letting go.
Right? So I hope that helps the the the other right there was another question I wanted to answer this and then we'll go to our guest. A few people have asked me about salah and I think this is very important. People have said that look um you know they're struggling with salah and some people I've had actually three people in the last just seven days um also express this um you know this this attitude of you know we're doing this because God's
going to punish us and he's going to oh you know and and and they and they're not comfortable with that and why do we have to do something only because God's going to punish us if we don't do it And I would say that that is not a healthy mindset at all. Look, let's get one thing clear. Your salah does not benefit God in the slightest. Nothing we do benefits God.
Nothing. Okay? It is just your devotion that reaches God. just that you know you standing doing ru doing this doing that what does God benefit from that it is your devotion okay not once in the Quran does god mention where does god say in the Quran if you don't do worship I'm going to punish you where does he say that look look in the Quran where does he say that show me these verses the one the only one they try to find they don't read the complete verse What brought you to damnation?
They say, "Oh, we never used to pray." And people stop. No, but read on. And we didn't used to feed the poor. We used to spread mischief on the earth. We would deny every form of truth that came before us. Read the verse. Where does Allah for any worship in the Quran for fasting for salah for had where does he mention punishing you?
He doesn't never this is not the spirit of the Quran. So let's process that. Okay. Now put that aside. It is what we can understand is our devotion reaches God. And secondly whatever we do has some benefit for us in this world then. And I want you to just flip that perspective.
So salah, think of it like this. Look, the Quran, every time it mentions salah, it always says salah. And this word, this verb from this, this is about establishing like an edifice, a structure, a building. This is how the word is used in Arabic and it's still used in Arabic like that. So it's interesting that choice of words. Allah could have just said Okay, that's interesting.
Now look, you take your life and your life like I take mine and I would feel it's it's always more towards a state of entropy. It's always more towards disorder than it is order. And if left to our own devices, we're always just lazy. We, you know, I'd rather I'll just sit here. I might as well just watch this. I'll watch another episode of this. Oh, I don't want to get up. I'd rather sleep more.
This is natural you see now you take salah now it's a ritual and it's a ritual which is a set of structures like there is and these structures have substructures each has this and it has it has it has it has this he has that and you establish this ritual You you become a and by establishing it, you become a manifestation of it because the salah you embody it because it is you
praying it. You become a manifestation of structures and you do it on your own as well which is on a side note as uh Pascal had said that all of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone and that's something actually which on a whole different tour or discussion we need to speak about because it generates inward directed thought something today people don't they they don't do.
You know, there was an experiment where they had um pe a group of people aged between 18 to 25. They had an opportunity to either wait between 6 minutes to 11 minutes or they could receive an electric shock, a certain not life-threatening, but electric shock. People would rather take the electric shock than just sit still. [laughter] But you see, sitting quietly generates inward directive thoughts.
Okay? So, you're on your own. You're doing a ritual and the human psyche clings to [clears throat] rituals. You know, if we didn't have rituals, we would have to invent them. That's how important they are for we can get into another discussion on another day psychologically why, but they are for humans. So, you become this manifestation of structures. Now subconsciously you are projecting some structure onto your day.
You see you know many people I tell you Jordan Peterson speaks about this many people speak about this. They say you know when you wake up make your bed and they say well what's so special about making a bed say oh well it makes the room look clean. No it's bigger than that. You see you wake up all you can see is your room. You can't see outside the room. You can just see your room and you see this disorderliness. You see this some chaos and what you do is you render some order to some chaos.
It's effective. It's immediate. Thereby setting a frame of mind that is more productive and effective in rendering more order in the greater chaos. Similarly, when you establish a set you establish the salah as a set of structures, subconsciously you are projecting even a tad bit of structural
order onto your day. You see, you may not notice it, but your productivity may a tad bit, a small, incrementally, minimally maybe, but increase. You see, in your salah is a blessing for your daily lives.
[laughter] See, you've been thinking all along that yes, you know, this is it is a devotion. The devotion is there, the ritual is there, the inward directed thought is there, being alone with yourself is there and a manifestation of structure thereby incrementally increasing productivity. It's amazing, isn't it? That think about it that there's these hadith that a person who establishes his salah, his risk increases.
Now Allah gives risk. Allah is but tell me if your productivity even increases incrementally [laughter] the risk increases because you're more productive. You see it's all about how you view this your perspective.
It is your salah only. Sure. Look, some days you're not going to do it. Some days you get distracted. Some days you oversleep, some days you're too busy. But whenever you do get a chance, put some structure into your life with devotion, you know, with ritual. I think honestly it's amazing. It is all but just a perspective. I hope that's of some help.
So Shukran, right, we've got let's bring on our guest Big Shack. All right. How are you? All right. I'm good. How are you doing? I'm good. We've got you slightly further away from the camera. Oh, okay. Because uh I'm just on my phone here.
All right. No, but it's Let's see some of that. N [laughter] quite bad lighting here. You see? No, no, it's it's all right. It's it's it's good. We can see you loud and we can hear you loud and clear. So, Shak, those of you that don't know, uh, an elitist boxer, highly trained from Birmingham, Sharif, who's making a return to boxing as well at this stage of life, Allahbar.
All right. So, Shaq, somebody also uh with a passion for uh Pakistani politics. I did speak earlier on a bit about this, man. What are your thoughts, man? What's going on? I know it is uh uh it is Ramadan as well and but I I wanted to get your thoughts on it as well. The reason I'm saying Ramadan is and stuff but let's get your thoughts. What what do you think what's going on man? The thing is what's going on with the current climate?
I've never seen the Pakistani public get so behind. It is like as you said earlier it's like a revolution. When did you see if Noah Sharif got deposed or someone else got um was sacked or anything? one of the politicians. When did the people come out like this? I've never seen it. Never. It's never happened, has it? And yeah.
So, I think it's um it's a it's a changing time and I think the masses of people in Pakistan, they really need to get with this because otherwise you're just going to have more of the same. And people don't want that. I remember the morning when um Shabbah Sharif came into power and I woke up to Zahur and my father was sitting there and uh he just looked at the TV and looked at Shabbah Sharif and said it's like a bad dream in in a bad dream you wouldn't imagine Shabbaz Sharif of all people taking is there like a trend of scenile
presidents and prime ministers because he appears almost scenile in some of his interviews. as does Joe Biden. I mean, I've watched some Joe Biden stuff. I've got no idea if it's Is this for real? What he's saying? He reminds me He reminds me of Mr. Magcoo. Do you remember Mr. Magoo? Mr. Magcoo like back in the day that little cartoon with the guy with the glasses. Oh yeah. He's got that Mr. Magu type of character about him and I'm like this guy's the prime minister of Pakistan and it's just I mean what you see that right people you get people like I there was a comment here I don't know if I can bring
it back up but somebody said look oh Muy you know this is just uh [snorts] um you know you're just uh all this is just one-sided propaganda for PTI and you know Yeah I saw What has what has Imran Khan ever ever done this kind of stuff like real facts and figures. I mean what are your thoughts on something like this? Because I'm you know I'm just like the common person who's just drawn into all of this right now.
But what do you think when when people say that to be fair I've spoken to I've at least almost now that's the third interaction directly uh one with someone uh personally speaking who's very intelligent and he's um you know although born in Pakistan but he's come here very professional and was speaking and and he was although in a calm manner but still very behind Noah Sharif saying look no Sharif is a businessman Iran Khan doesn't know politics He wasn't on and you're hearing this.
Say that again. Sorry. I said he wasn't on the take, was he? [laughter] Which you get with these? Well, you never know. If Noah Sharif quickly logs into this stream and and drops a super chat worth like half a mill, you wouldn't need to work again. I will quickly uh switch. [laughter] That's all the loyalty is. We'll be like, "Yeah, you know, yeah, Iran Khan doesn't really know politics, does he though?" [laughter] Yeah.
In terms of Imran Khan, I think he's offered the people change because in Pakistan, you have like dynastic politics where did you see the CNN interview today with the Bilawal when they said, "Oh, you're from you're from a dynasty of politics." And Bilaw was just like his answer was no actually Iran Khan is also from a dynasty of politics and I was thinking where is he getting this from where is he getting that from this guy's a Oxford graduate and his best answer was Imran Khan is also from a dynasty of politics which he isn't but what did he mean by them I think he meant that in terms of
certain provinces Iran Khan's got family members or relatives oh or he mean like comparing Yeah. [laughter] Yeah. His udu is honestly it's become so comical and humorous. I don't get how he hasn't learned udu by living in Pakistan for what at least two years. Have you noticed um it's got better over time.
Okay. I mean yeah I mean I'm sure like but this kind of improvement could have been done within like weeks if not months that what he's achieved. I think he's had elecution lessons. I definitely think he's he needs to sack those people. If I was having eleions like lessons like that, I'd fire those people because I mean if I'm speaking at the end of 15 years by saying hungry to agent [laughter] and it's his pron Have you heard him say his pronouns?
He gets male and female tense mixed up. Yeah. because they always say about him any bilani [laughter] bilani it is and you know what it is though I feel that look Pakistan just it's look it's it's just an example here it's a case study it's relevant because it's happening but people have a deep-seated yearning to be a part of change like they do want like people deep down the common person does want good.
They want justice. They want goodness. And they're just fed up of in the world. Look, the ruling classes never give a damn about, let's be honest, it's like the UK. Come on, Boris Johnson. These people couldn't care less. It's just that people didn't find Corbyn to be a charming personality. And and then there is this myth that the because he's left and anything socialist is anti- somehow progress.
Um it's such a I think it's it's very effective on their part for propaganda, but it's such a shame that the common person who it does affect the the the workingass majority of a country can't see through these things. Yeah. Yeah. That's that's a bit worrying because um that that's why Corbyn didn't take off as well because people just didn't take him seriously as a candidate and the majority of the country they voted in what was it Boris.
Yeah. Yeah. I mean and when you look at him I mean for God's sake Boris Johnson uh a bloody I don't know like a mop could have more charisma and charm than him. It's like what the hell's going on? But somehow you know you know that thing I think at that time it just appealed to the Yeah. Yeah. because it was it was better than what they had, you know, as the poet said, you know, like some uh crap is better than the rest of the crap because they're like, well, you know, I'd rather go with this then because they're just looking at it's not charming enough the opposition and yeah,
you know, it's um you do but this thing of sen honestly I I watched because I've watched a few things now clips on um on Instagram of Joe Biden and and he's just saying he's like it's delirious like he's saying things which like the sentence is incoherent. it doesn't it's like what is he even talking about [laughter] and he'll just say incoherent things and you're thinking man this guy how is he running you know like such a big superpower of a country and then you've got people like uh obviously I mean and then you've got people like Shabbaz Sharif I watched one one two of
his recent clips since he came in and he's just it's on Tik Tok and stuff and he's just saying things which it's it's like is he What is he even talking about? It doesn't make any sense. Yeah, there must be like a WhatsApp group of scenile [laughter] leaders. And yeah, as I said that Mr. Magoo type character, he just reminds me of Mr.
Magcoo. I'm like, what's going on here? It's like a bad dream. [laughter] Right. So, look, uh, last I checked, Bill Orani did not complete his course at Oxford. Did he not? Okay. Not that I I'm that interested in him, but okay. Uh more from an Oxford graduate though. You'd expect his mom.
Yeah. I I'd also heard that uh his mom naughty naughty was a rather I'd heard was rather involved. She was in Oxford when Iran Khan was in Oxford and apparently they had the so some of this kind of halal halchel was happening and and apparently she was rather rather infatuated with Imran Khan but then again who wouldn't be you know dashing dashing guy who wasn't at that time who wasn't I mean even for now he's like what almost 70 yeah god damn I mean who wouldn't want to be in that shape and look like that
if you're 70 I mean god God's sake. He's doing well. He's doing well for his age. He's doing well for his age. Yeah. Yeah. Then you touched on that um his difference with the army and I Oh, right. Yeah. What are your thoughts? Because you you're uh some of your family, if you don't mind me saying, you know, they're quite well anchored with the with the military. So go Uh my father himself he was uh he was in Musa company which was the original SSG commandos that went yeah for Pakistan that went on to become the SSG commandos.
So my father was in that and for people that don't know that's like Pakistan's Navy Seals isn't it? It's like the elite kind of ruthless the the ones that the the there's YouTube videos of them like eating biting snakes and doing all this kind of stuff and [laughter] they just catch a snake and they bite it. It's like bloody hell. Okay. Okay mate, I don't want to mess with you.
It's like friend friend. [laughter] And then my um grandfather on my mom's side nana dada both were in army. They brothers they were all in army. We had uh family who received even like um accolades as the Victoria Cross. Wow. Things like that. So uh a long history of army and and I just feel that I think the army is still in favor with Imran Khan.
I I don't think the army's fallen out of favor. The the army is just taking apolitical as they said today. They said there was a there was a today they made a an announcement speech, isn't it? Today Yeah. DJ He said that we're apolitical. We don't want to get involved in the politics. That's for the politicians. Sasa is for the politicians. It's not our job to get involved in that. Yeah.
Um he did give uh credit to the letter though. He said the letter is outside interference. There has been some outside interference. There is because initially when this all started I was slightly skeptical myself that is there any um uh is it trustworthy but even now the armed security services all the top brass are saying that yeah there was a letter and it was outside interference because they had other things as well so before the the there was the letter there was um I've forgotten which uh foreign minister whatever visited the
the opposition before they did something and there were certain circumst I mean that's circumstantial evidence it's not on its own but they had certain like they had a dinner a private dinner before this happened and this happened and they're putting it all together and and certain comments made by foreign countries saying look they're not very happy with Imran Khan's approach and stuff. Um yeah, I mean this army thing has been very interesting because um because people because the general understanding was that look it it was quite known from a few years back that look Iran Khan was doing his own thing.
He wasn't anti-armmy but he was just doing his own thing and and there was some speculation that you know this may have annoyed uh certain military kind of officials in thinking look well you know he's not listening and I'm sure even within the army it is it is not like a monolith there must be like you know multiple voices and people must um certain people must be more sympathetic and maybe some people are slightly different but now when this happened.
Uh people there was a lot on Tik Tok and stuff saying that look the only way this was pulled off uh was by support of the army chief general Baja and and and the army was silent for a few days. It didn't really release a statement or anything and and then today it did. So yeah, I mean this had caused a bit of speculation and and I think people were saying because General Baja wanted to extend his his kind of uh his leadership role and Iran Khan had disagreed and you couldn't have a further extension and this had led to the extent I watched an interview on YouTube um it was an it was an Indian
news it came up I think is it Won or something they call it but um and they were saying they were quoting citing BBC news saying that a private chopper landed at that night at Immran Khan's residence and they argued that that General Baja went into the residence with some soldiers and slapped up actually slapped they say slapped up Imran Khan does plausible when I I watched that same um part on Yon news it was why on news and I was like does this even sound plausible that general [laughter]
land on the bunny gala slap Imran Khan up who's also 6 foot plus and you know [laughter] I don't he's going to let anyone slap him up and get but that would just be such a you know because look you know people who are you know true power people who are powerful even if you agree with them or disagree with them but people who are truly powerful they're usually very in control with composure.
Yeah. You know, they they people of true power, they're not that have that have understood power. They're not usually your very oh kind of, you know, jungly type of people. That's the low-level people thinking that's power. True power people are usually cool, calm, and collected. And for somebody to take a step which is not immediate reactionary, but to say let me get a chopper and let me fly there and let me go there and let me go in.
I mean, this takes a lot of time. And then get there, and then let me slap him. Let me slap you. [laughter] I just thought that that come on that sounds really sensationalized for the BBC as well to promote that was on yeah that was quite [clears throat] wow it was yeah it was like BBC actually but I think the the UK are quite upset with Imran Khan as well because Smith thing he want Baja want to do a Will Smith yeah this is what the Indian newspaper was saying that I mean the the news they were saying they will he will smith him [laughter] Yeah, but you see the BBC it could be because I mean it's you know government
supported governmentbacked because uh what I've forgotten the name of Imran Khan's brother-in-law the the Lord uh Goldsmith but he had his former brother-in-law Jamaima's brother he had tweeted when he was ousted that oh uh you know that you know this is sad and I hope Iran Khan does you know he progresses back and and he said some kind of sympathetic tweet and he was apparently told off by Downing Street.
That's what I read in the paper. I mean online here that they were saying, well, you know, and he was and Downing Street made a point that, you know, no, you know, that's not reflective of us. But they not just said that's not reflective, but it mentioned as the as the kind of headline that he was uh he was kind of reprimanded and told off that what what on earth are you doing showing support for Imran Khan. So the West has itself from Imran Khan.
Yeah. But since it is truth that oh sorry [snorts] the whole since the whole Ukraine thing and the Russia thing him going to Russia at the start of the Russia Ukraine war I think that just settled it for the west. They were like we've got to get rid of this guy. We need and look and and they have to see that look Ukraine like like let's just be you know let's just be very transparent and just very objective.
Ukraine is not Pakistan's problem. Exactly. Like let's just be honest. Just as Kashmir is not Britain's problem. Yes. And you know Palestine is not America's problem and Afghanistan is not you know France's problem. And these countries are like look that's in a different continent. What does it got to do with us? Look why do they think Pakistan would overidentify with Ukraine?
Like let's be honest it's not their problem. They're thinking what does this got to do with us? And sure on an objective scale one could say look sure they could take but they've got to look out for their own interests but what is interesting is Pakistan uh you know abstaining from condemning Russia and Sri Lanka abstaining and both countries are currently in turmoil and facing uh Sri Lanka is going into kind of bankruptcy for the first time ever at a global level and it's it's prime min or prime whoever the leader is about to be ousted or whatever and and Pakistan and it's like I don't know is this a
coincidence people I don't know [laughter] what do we know [clears throat] there's something in it there's something in it yeah one thing I do agree that look it is true people say look Iran Khan is a populist leader he's playing on the sentiments of the crowd and that is true he is doing that and even one could say even the Islamic thing he is playing on that because He knows it works and uh and he could have had a change of heart and as you get older for his life direction.
So I I think no I no I think no what what I'm saying is he his own faith obviously is I feel he's s sincere but you know his populist rhetoric like the way he's playing on the rhetoric towards the people. Yes, that true. There is [clears throat] some he's obviously playing on certain words like like for for example him saying um look like in his speech that look uh they they they're calling us beggars Noah Sharif's family we're not beggars you know which is fair which is right and then he says look they're saying America are saying if you oust me they'll forgive you who are you to forgive the only superpower is Allah now
that is is true like that sets Muslims like [laughter] And it's true and that that is a a tactic and you know so people are saying that and I accept that look this is populist politics and Erdigan has done it before and uh everybody's done it in their own countries um but it works but the spirit for change I think can't be like its authenticity can't be denied I don't think you can deny that people for once are just fed up with, you know, like somebody, [laughter]
you know, we're just lining the fed up with the old, you know, the old system, the Sharifs, the PPPs, the Zardanis, the BHOs. People are fed up with those guys because what have they done apart from build homes in London and America and around the world really, what have they really done in Pakistan? I can't see any. And the question is where does that wealth come from? like they've got billions of dollars like in in we're talking assets and funding.
How did they just wake up with billions of of dollars worth of you know how does how does that work? Where did it come from? Obviously by looting. It doesn't I do hope you know with this spirit of revolution and change I do hope in other parts of the world it inspires people to also you know that that it can have you know like like let's say in the UK now you've just got uh I'm not saying this obviously currently there isn't much leadership in Labor but you've got Labor and you've got Tories and and there isn't really okay there's Liberal Democrats but there isn't You know, this is like all over in the world,
Republicans, Democrats, you've got the People's Party and and that and you don't have ever a new person come in and revolutionize things. It's unprecedented. So, but so what Iran Khan is doing whether he pulls it off in the future or not, you know, Allah, I sure hope he does, but it is difficult because a country like Pakistan is so difficult to show, you know, bring about so much change. But he's shown that a new party emerging can happen like because people don't believe it can happen.
And I hope in places like India honestly I hope um even there because they also have their kind of like I think an equivalent of a justice uh party as well. I've forgotten the is it the but but they also have not the bar the BJP but they have also like a a party in Dilli somewhere that's popular for this kind of PTI kind of similar rhetoric but it's not taken off.
I just hope in other parts of the world where fascism has kind of um you know just sweeped the across the the the globe almost that it can people can have hope again that you know maybe there can be changed. Yeah. I think that's what Iran Khan gave us. He gave the nation hope. Yeah.
Justice. [laughter] But why not? Huh? Why not? I think he will uh if if the elections are soon I think oh yeah I mean now he would have a sweeping you know if the opposition had left him he would have probably lost power. [laughter] This is the irony.
He's now like nobody has been as popular as he has been as he is currently because I think also the shock the shock to see Imran go the way he did. I think a lot of the journalists at the when he was leaving Banigala, he said, "Is there anyone left that's not with me anymore? Is is anyone left who's actually with me?" He was uh you know he's feeling down saying is it is because you know when you see the mighty and when you see like whether you like him whether people like him or not he has the archetype of a hero
and whether people agree with him or don't agree with him he clearly does you know like as an example there's a lot of interviews where people are going around in Pakistan saying who which do you sport saying no shar we do sport this support and they said okay let's would you agree that let's make dua that your children turn out like and and they're like they're like what the hell's wrong with you no I'm not going to say amen to that but see for Imran Khan you would say that because he has this hero archetype like let's be honest like you would have like with great you know pride say oh I wish you know my child grows up to be like Iran Khan because he he has that and to see
the ar to see the hero fall. It strikes such a core deep in our psyche and our kind of consciousness, our soul, our we it shakes us because the fall of a hero, it is tragic whether you like it or don't like it. It's it's something very deep that we absolutely Yeah. It brings tears to to the eyes.
Yeah. So to be replaced with someone like Shabbaz Shar [laughter] put that in front you know look tell me I want to ask a question I asked this to someone and then we'll wrap this because I know people you know it is getting a bit late for for you as well u look look I asked this to somebody if you know the sharifs and and the bhs and these people yeah there's no shortage of money These people are like filthy rich, ridiculously rich.
Why? Why would you want like at that age? And you know, they're almost scenile and their health obviously is is also giving way. Why would you want politics? Why do you think they're they're after it? because somebody asked me this and and I asked somebody and obviously he he said to me it's it's clear because they obviously love Pakistan and I couldn't stop laughing but [laughter] but but seriously why do you think that what what is it like because you could just they could look they could just live their whole life now like a dream they could just be going from holiday to
holiday to there's no shortage of wealth but holiday holiday doesn't massage your ego and it doesn't give you that the the ego boost that you must get from being like the prime minister of Pakistan. Power in it. The pursuit of power. It's that power. It must be addictive. It must be addictive. It must No, power is highly addictive. Highly addictive.
