questions one is is it permissible to wear lipstick anyway and all we talking about in the question and going out so if you're talking about within the home then everybody would more or less be in agreement in wearing lipstick is fine uh um that's in a general situation what about during the fast most people will be with the understanding that that is fine okay do not generally question uh do not say that by applying something to the lips whether it's lipstick or whether it's balb or lip balm or whether whatever

that it would invalidate the fast it wouldn't okay um so that's the second aspect of the question is going out here many people may feel that wearing lipstick is not permissible in society and so on and and other have challenged that and there's been um I mean she Muhammad Hass has given a lengthy response as of some of the other amongst them some of the AL have also Dr Ahmed I believe of alar and a few others have given a response

saying that lipstick is absolutely fine um you can wear it outside because the face is not part of the A and they've and then they've been a bit more specific I believe it was uh Dr Ahmed that I mentioned of alar who was very specific about this during Ramadan saying it has no impact whatsoever uh women can wear their lipstick they can wear their makeup they can go out traditionally a lot of the spoke about other kinds of makeup like things like wearing in the eyes and so on and many of the like let's say from the Han whether it was uh people like Imam

saraki and others they said that even if the person even if the the woman uh was to feel the taste of the that she's placed in her eyes in her throat meaning it's somehow kind of penetrated through the taste had and and uh ended up in the throat it would still not in any way impact the uh the fast okay so that's that so mu still no lipstick for you but anyway I hope that helps so in summary yes uh she if it is a woman that is she

can wear lipstick and that will have no impact zero impact on the fast and I am of the understanding myself with those like Muhammad Hassan Didu and those that have given the fatwa that women can we make up outside it is not part of the A and neither will it have any impact on the fast let's go to the next question
