this camera is giving away more than I can of course yeah that is holid share Holly double for those book just fix that make sure I write people [ __ ] sorry zindagi man though he goes Raritan expiry on Isabella ik 3 John Ichabod so that's partially explains my delay right so what's going on people what is going on alright somebody's just trying to catch
these messages some of these messages Salam from the Philippines are why people are right the Philippines doing it doing it doing it alright what else is going on people what is going on I mean I was reading some poetry you know when you read some poetry and listen to some poetry Allah it takes you into a different world don't you think so
anybody who does not have an appreciation for poetry is my room and deprived in this dunya if you ask me and some people in the words of John Ilya Sahib I was hearing one of his poems today that bus file Anka Borge Oh tire car engine up miss Rajan car he is a motto Tai Yi that learn the patterns of poetry that's what you ought
to do don't try to rip off this stuff of Johnny yeah that's a legend a legend people a legend there's a line of his that you see the thing I really like about this poet let me let me share some while some people are tuning in let me talk a bit about this this legend to you why I kind of take a liking to him you see John Elia has a kind of he's a a poet from the Indian subcontinent he spelled his name not John but J aun John
like that but I think it may be equivalent to the English John because I'm assuming he came from a Christian kind of background although later on in life I'm pretty sure he was either agnostic or atheist later on in his life but he comes from a place in braja in India and then he migrates to Karachi Pakistan and then he migrates to the buy UAE and then he kind of floats in between and and he passes his life in this state of like a wonder I guess but he touches up on certain elements within
his poetry that are just kind of brutal truths that normal poets don't dare touch up on they don't dare see for poets quite often they paint an amazing picture so they may be describing something or somebody very beautiful maybe kind of describing a woman or a I don't know some scenic kind of thing and they may give illustris words and and that's quite common for poets they may be speaking of I don't know epics or things like this but with John there's a
whole there's a very kind of there's a reality that's all too real and a bit too dark sometimes an almost a very self-destructive nature about him that resonates with a lot of his fans and a lot of people who are really they infatuated by him this kind of loneliness I guess that he has that echoes from his words so the way he says things like he'll have you know lines like besakih fancy car hey homina Jess
Emilia will say ah [ __ ] each ear that I've only really mastered one skill and that is whosoever you meet leave them upset or disheartened things like this is whole kind of it's very it has a a tragedy but which is so real in the real world like he has in his line the way he expresses somebody who for example loves him and he says and they want a state of companionship so he has a line a poem
where he says there a faculty Killick in much go I selected that companionship is fine like I have no problem but he says but it appears to me as such don't O'Meara Sartre hokey Metin Hara jungle that he says that admittedly you will get to be with me but I will still remain alone there is just a brutal reality sometimes - to his words that
are so Wow the epic and he has this line in which he really brings home a sense of tragedy I'll share this with you he says that bad Theory Johnny JA dil mera ha ha gypsum ah you're the reheated eeeh harm Peter 30-yard became you know I love fatty but it's so tried he's saying in this poem that after you'd left like you'd gone for good he says that
there was a strange atmosphere within my heart that this like in my heart this is where your memory is resided but this is where they live in my heart and then eventually they too left and you see that is so interesting that seldom when you see a poet touch up on things like this that the true tragedy wasn't even the loss but it was the state of indifference it was the state that even the sad memories will dissipate and
disappear and that was the true sense of loss amazing very profound this that reline actually reminds me of there's a line a similar poem by a bullet Aria with the Arab poet who says who's you often just known for his very ascetic very hermit kind of lifestyle it gets a bit boring sometimes but but he has a line like that well he says say you are although on Vickery what wounds are more
dirty well yeah this new body little Holly Holly know that he says eventually even my let alone my love like he says that will people will move away from me but even my memories will be forgotten and those to whom I was beloved somebody else will be beloved to them but in these words he captures a tragedy that is so real anyway with these words let's commence the let's commence right Omar Khayyam if
you're looking for crotchety Allah I'll check out all my am but I have I find some words in certain people like Joni Lea and people like this very just so gripping I I must say I do find them very incredibly gripping but nevertheless let's do you feel that to become a great scholar you should know do or do know I mean it's not necessary to become a great scholar but it has some amazing poetry and as a bonus you can always appreciate Bollywood somebody
just said they had a daughter mabrook mabrook Baraka la fille how avi come and yeah may Allah bless you all likewise anybody else you celebrating certain things Nick Hobbes has asked do you enjoy any English poetry you know it's interesting because mmm not much but I've I mean maybe occasionally I don't haven't read much poetry in English I've not found it to really strike a chord with me I don't know is I feel that in the english-speaking world
world that poetry isn't such a core part of the culture and and and I don't like free style poetry that's just me to me that is second and third class for me poetry must be upon meters and scales everything else is simply I mean other things are I mean they they prose it's nice it's you can appreciate it in English I tell you what I do like or sometimes dialogues and sometimes you
know like you get one-liners or quotes certain quotes are epic in English I feel but poetry I don't feel it does it it's like in order to I don't feel quotes are as powerful as they are in English just regular quotes that you get but I feel the poetry in order to his very epic but that's me I guess I guess you've never heard of Tupac Shakur I have heard of two back I mean I'm sure he's appreciated by many people and you know but just not my not not on this scale he's not he doesn't score up to these people
somebody said Shakira of course of course muy bien muy bien what can we say about Shakira gee there's not much to say we obviously can't criticize so please respond to my what does freestyle poetry mean freestyle I think they don't have wasn't or they don't have a patent like for example in classic English poetry there is there was a pentameter and stuff like that they followed a certain
meter like what is it like for example in Shakespeare that heavy lies the head that wears the crown for example like that so that's like honest on a five beat kind of thing so in Arabic you have similar you know like they'll have patterns like like let's say like fiery Latin fire electron or MOFA I'll add one more I let them they'll have these kind of scales so for example mean I'll mush who they will be ill a posse yeah they'll be and they and these are like
kind of rhythms so so that's how the poets used to sing things and they would also they say that in essence there's 15 in Arabic this 15 16 scales that the that these poems kind of fit on and they say that it did in essence reflected the camel beats as the camels would move in a certain way that that's what they would beat with so you know mineral mush or a billhook be Ella kasi yet it'll be salam ala hidden are she Allah happy and so like this they had a beat
that would help them remember the poem in order to you you have scales as well so but in recent times we have some people like in English they don't follow the scales anymore like Shakespeare did or people like they just say it's a spoken word like it's just freestyle like they'll just say something and they'll call it a poem you know oh so so beautiful is this and that and and they'll just say something and it doesn't have to follow a pattern and and people do that in Arabic as well now and I find that just non impressive that's
me I guess so let's how is the Quran style different from poetry the Quran is not poetry like it doesn't it has a rhythm to it I guess but it doesn't fit on any of the scales of poetry so I guess today because in English we're so used to poetry not having rhythms so to us it may be difficult to differentiate why isn't the Quran poetry then but in the past people and even today for poetry they have set meters and scales and in which words must fit a certain
rhythm to be called a poem just like a song has a rhythm to it and now today you will think well the Quran has a rhythm you know like I don't know a Rahman you know like Oh ba ba ya al arabi come at Kathy bond and they'll all end with arms from you know Lehman half a murmur of bahijon a turn and you'll think well this has a rhythm so but that's true but it doesn't fit a poetic rhythm but today to us that sounds alien because we don't understand these rhythms and so we think
any rhythm must be poetry but that's not how it is right so let's what else has been going on people what's going on right first a lot I'd like to congratulate I went to a wedding yesterday Mazama had not been landing but a friend local friend student Osama say no Abby Dean and got married to Bush Rasul Allah bless their union I mean I
don't normally go to weddings but for Osama I made an exception you see normally I can't be you know what I don't I just don't do weddings and I mean I don't even turn up to my own word I'm just in the penthouse waiting I'm like when everybody's done I'll just be waiting here so I don't normally do things like weddings and I don't really do I guess I'm just really bad at things like that things like weddings funerals
it's really bad but I don't know I don't know I just don't do really too many of these things but I went to Osama's wedding and so it was there is various online people Osama he's tuned in despite it being his his honeymoon people that sacrifice that is sacrifice see see rather than enjoying this is true enjoyment he's like forget all of that he's like woman behave yourself distance yourself can't
you see it's Monday nights with Mufti Osama Wow dedication I'm on it I'm touched it's it's beautiful he's brought a tear to my [Laughter] either that all we need to spice up your your love life so that is true commitment people see I like it I like it you know in the past what the scholars used to do that not the skull
is so what the Islamic ruling so the Islamic ruling was when a when a couple got married for several whole week seven days seven nights they would just be kind of locked in whatever is the house or the place wherever is they would just stay there no coming out no going to the Masjid even the Maliki said some of them I like here say even Jamar don't worry about it man you've got a more important sermon to give you're sitting there doing your
sermon yeah you an ass Oh people so and and this week of unbound and unrestricted passion and intimacy was to create a bond between the couple that would that would kind of a chemical bond of course we're speaking in poetry people were speaking and that would that would then be a stepping stone into the relationship you see this is this was the people of the past this is like believe it or not that's the medieval
times nowadays it's it would be like God knows I mean some my advice to people who do get married is that they must always really they should definitely move out live separately because nowadays it'll just be like okay couple have just gone into their room and everybody's just sitting yeah a couple are probably thinking like God is our people not gonna go to sleep today he'll we need right okay we can't have any it
must be this must be on mute let's mute the volume and everybody must just be so awkward everything so and then that ruins the early you see this is the stepping stone into the relationship so it ruins that because now they're too busy it's like obviously they they've got like mom dad everybody sitting outside you can't hot it's hardly you don't want it really hears screams or anything coming out of that room screams I mean screams of joy I mean of happiness I
mean of of poetry recycles that's what I mean so you know it's and everything so awkward so if that's the beginning of a relationship how is it to blossom any further because it's this is and this is why and you know in some Arab cultures obviously this is not not to bring this up in the same discussion with Osama who is an Arab obviously this isn't I'm not saying it's in his culture but in many Arab cultures hopefully this is a dying
trend now but they have a custom that people are all waiting outside and they will then take out the bedsheet and whilst so they'll go in and then precisely 37 seconds later they will send out the Brit bed sheet and the bed sheet will have the kind of hymen blood on it and that's disgusting but this is what they and then they kind of take it
round and they kind of like no they take this around and everybody's looking at that sheet like yeah this is epic must be so embarrassing what the hell what the hell is that about so that's a that's in a few Arab cultures believe it or not and hopefully I think it's a dying trend now so I think with the younger generation because that's gotta be so awkward that's gotta be like you know everybody that's not even just the parents and siblings that's like everybody's in the
house and the dad's like that's my boy in there mm-hmm all right thing for you and these ports immense pressure on the girls that are not virgins or that have lost their hymen for example due to other things hymen can break due to other reasons as well people it's not it's not necessary that it has to only you know it could break with exercise for example certain exercises that a girl could do could
break her hymen and or I mean even if she wasn't a virgin but the point is and it places immense pleasure pressure pleasure pressure I was saying pressure people pressure behave naughty naughty so this is sorry places immense pressure on the couple and then sometimes there's crazy stuff like they'll divorce the girl if she's not a if she's not a virgin or sometimes they'll and and you'll hear stories of people sometimes
will place other blood like they'll cut themselves and put blood just to show to the people that she was a and then sometimes you'll get women that will undergo kind of hymen surgery to replate to replace an artificial hymen for things like this it's crazy the world the world people what is going on what is what is going on with this omma right so we need to seriously get a grip right so well that's what's going on with some of the customs what else is going on in
the world people what else well what's going down with this khashoggi keshavjee thing or keshavjee a few ways to pronounce his name right somebody just said ketchup ketchup and the end up spilling like what is it brown sauce instead like HP [Laughter] mayonnaise alright that's enough that's enough but everybody would be like
what-what the hell is going on in there you know what in a way I guess they should do that to kind of embarrass everybody that what the hell are you doing they should just go in there and blast some really loud sounds and just embarrass the hell out of everyone outside say well it serves you right what on earth are you guys doing here for God's sake anyway let's let's focus people let's focus everybody's so distracted right so well right what's going on with what's going
on with this keshavjee incident right so those of you that know there's there's a journalist this is what we know so there's this journalist keshavjee some people pronounce it Shaggy and keshavjee as well I'm not sure exactly I've seen the Arabic and it seems to be Kashyap gee like that so keshavjee this journalist who was at one time pretty tight with the royal family seems to have become on bat he seems to have
ended up on bad terms we don't exactly know what I mean we know he's made some tweets in the past and really that those tweets don't warrant what happened so it couldn't be that just some tweets and you know saying that maybe the the King is being too harsh or things like this nevertheless he lives in the West somewhere but he was in Istanbul and he turns up to the he's a Saudi national Islam expert and he turns up to the Saudi consulate and apparently he is
then assassinated but in brutal in horrific kind of ways and measures so apparently a team of assassin and I'm talking something out of hostel you know the movie hostel I'm talking like jigsaw laughs aw this is this is some some horrific stuff this ain't your usual kind of like here's an assassin he's gonna take a long distance shot and sniper shot and kill this person this they said apparently this guy called muttering some Colonel or somebody and
there was a team of a dozen plus assassins that have turned up on private this guy came on a private jet they turn up to this to the consulate where keshavjee is they and they sedate dokdo sedate him but they give him certain he drugged him with something that will keep him alive but pacify him and then whilst he's alive this guy this motor a character severs and cuts his limbs off like he's chopping him into pieces
whilst keeping him alive and then this last this ordeal this horrific kind of something out of a horror movie lasts for seven minutes before keshavjee is killed before he dies eventually and they I mean what they've exactly done we don't know exactly the details apparently there's an audio recording somehow once again how does how did this recording take place we're not too sure some people claim to have a recording was keshavjee himself making an audio recording that had a link somewhere that people were listening in to was the
consular did it have a recording was somebody recording they seem to be witnesses that claimed that they could hear him screaming and they've reported this to the police his body is missing so they then cut him up this motor character he seems to have been part of he seems to be quite elite in the Saudi on the Saudi scene to the extent that he is respond double-o part of what set up a seven minute autopsy for people visiting hajj that died during the Hajj so as you can
imagine the whole judge that turn up to the Hajj if somebody dies and there's such a large quantity of them you can't have them hanging around in hospitals waiting on coroner reports so they had when they had created a a system where they had a mobile autopsy team clinic that clinic had a seven minute turnaround program that apparently was designed or one of the key pioneers in it was this motoring person so they could do a complete autopsy within seven minutes take out cut out the necessary organs do whatever they got to do and
done and this person can now be buried or taken away that was designed for a judge for people coming on the Hajj once again directed or led by ma trim now ma tribe is the person that flies in he's seen as landing on a private jet in Istanbul he's the person who turns up to the consulate he's the person who's allegedly on this recording drugging and then killing keshavjee in a seven minute ordeal as well so there's great parallels and doing so in a horrific way and he's
saying sick things like he's saying things like to the team around him that guys he apparently he puts earphones in walls he's cutting him and he says that this is what you should I should do his so he's talking to his team and he's telling them guys I always like to listen to music when I do this and he's kind of just like in a movie people like him this is like some jigsaw stuff going on this is so on that scale in in real time that's what it is this is hostile people that's what we're looking at now that kind of horror genre in reality now
so then apparently motive is seen leaving the country on a diplomatic passport dragging away some heavy bags did they contain the dismembered body parts of keshavjee is that what he did he flew out the country with him because there is no trace initially this became a huge issue because it got leaked to the public the public there was a public outcry that what on earth is going on how are Saudi elite kind of people
representatives turning up in our country in Turkey this is the Turks saying and calm and conducting such acts of extrajudicial killings and assassinations and torture in Istanbul initially the Saudi councillor and Representatives denied any such action and said keshavjee came to the consulate and as far as we're away he left safe and sound what happened to him outside in Istanbul is none of our business Donald Trump is also weighs in on this and initially says yep that sounds that sounds plausible that's Donald Trump
saying well the Saudi consulate is saying he came and left so that sounds plausible then people the pressure gets cranked up that wait a minute if he left the consulate then show us the CCTV footage of him leaving the consulate show us because he's coming in we can see that show us where he's leaving so because as the international pressure starts to rise and Britain as well withdrew from some of the deals with Saudi Arabia international pressure was being applied then the Saudi authorities say oh now following our investigation the recent thing they've said is right right they
said our bad my bad we got this wrong you're right he he seems to have died whilst getting into a fight with someone in the consulate that's all we know so far so it's like well okay because initially the Saudis had said if there is no body there is no crime and they had said where's the body we need a body we need keshavjee s body and there was nobody so initially they were saying there is no crime because there is no body so this is now they've
said well apparently he was killed we think but he got into some fight we don't know we're investigating further and the question is what wait a minute if he was killed in the consulate where the hell did his body go and then the question is that how could have this happened without Saudi authorization the next question is were the Turks in on it because how does this happen and then some claims that are being thrown around is Americas in on it too because this so this leads to a greater question mark that why what was
the reason to do all of these because it couldn't have been those stupid tweets that are old I mean they're not gonna do all of this over them some tweet so some new findings have exposed that there was a hacking software that was purchased in the recent past I think the company was a I think was a Greek company or they would say I was a Cypriot but there was some it was a European company I believe but there was a hacking company that dealt in hacking a Deltan creating hacking software for governments that
could then tap into persons of interest by sending them emails or doing things by which they could access their phone switch them on as as they will switch on the microphone they could copy all the contents they could see what's on the screen as recently Saudi Arabia purchased this hacking software the person in control of this transaction or that one of the people that kind of oversaw this transaction and was one of the representatives was this Motoring character he is seen as one of the
people involved in pyon managing that transaction the question then was using this software this is now speculation did the Saudis on earth uncover something that keshavjee or Khashoggi was doing on his phone was he about to reveal something he was a journalist was he working on something that they uncovered that would have been massively problematic therefore they dispatched an assassin team to assassinate him and torture him I mean because the torture as well I
mean one is to assassinate him but one is the way they did it in such a brutal it obviously was to teach a lesson at the same time to other people that maybe that will come to learn of these to say well you guys this is an example that we're setting so what was all of this about so there's a lot of questions that have to be answered and and this is all going on but I mean I'm finding it just at the same time shocking as whoa just like what on earth is going on here so I suppose we'll keep we'll keep tuned and
learn but it is it is definitely very fascinating that I mean it's fascinating to see how such things are being done in the open it's crazy people it's crazy whoa that's the keshavjee Saudi did it gave us gave them help beforehand don't know why Turkey would exactly I have no idea who wants a vacation in Saudi Arabia what kind of a vacation is that dasari Arabia no I would that's something i've never
want to do right sorry that madney are i driving oh right oh right animus Alan Alan Alan mb/s just wanted some entertainment I don't know you know I don't know I'm just so hmm I don't know I'm just so intrigued by all of this and I suppose time will tell what else is going on people what else is going on well in other news people since I'm sharing news India seems to be going through it's me to moment there's
a whole hype going on right now with hashtag me too going on in Bollywood and the whole Indian that kind of the entertainment industry so what are our thoughts on some of these hashtag me too you know I don't know because I'm not such I'm I'm very kind of skeptical of this whole me too and I'm not very keen on this this kind of thing I'm very let me make it clear
categorically against abuse but what I see in this me too I want you to hear me out in case the feminazis kind of decide to go they they decide to say okay Colonel motive dispatch dispatch we're sending you to Birmingham and then next thing you know I'm here in my library I'm like yeah I really need that arm if you don't can you change that music as well I don't really like that music it can you show me the bag you're gonna
carry me I just want to know whether right so if you well these are my thoughts on these I feel that look this me to think I feel it's a class thing right I don't feel it's about justice and I don't feel it's about protecting women's rights I feel it's just a class thing that nobody really cares about the abuse going on they only care when it happens to certain people of a certain class so
like India for example is the rape capital of Asia this probably I've said this in the part probably as statistically some reports state that there's a hundred and six rapes on a daily basis in in India nobody seems to really care nobody does anything you know they don't care like because it's the lower classes it's not it's like when it's a poor people's problem nobody cares it's like an America when the black communities were being you know torn to a million pieces with drugs and things like this
it's not a problem but the moment it hits the suburbs and the the kind of middle-class communities in America it becomes a problem and and I feel that now in India like or in America when these actresses said oh you know we got touched or things like this it became a problem because they they were not your common people they were not the communist they were not the lower classes so they were talking so it's only interest it's only a middle upper middle class and an upper class problem
like that's all people really care about if you've got money they care about you if you don't have money nobody gives a damn and I think this me too thing is because of that I I find it quite so that's why I don't I'm very kind of weary of this kind of thing and actress is you know oh like in all honesty the directors you know these things like casting couch this is so well-known everybody knows about things like these I'm not saying it necessarily makes it okay I'm not saying that it that it makes it okay but what I'm saying is everybody knows about this that we mean for example they will
to get into certain casting to get a cast or to get into a movie or to get into something they'll sleep with the directors or they'll do this or they'll do that and and sure they will probably want to but they'll think well it's worth it because I'll get in I'll get this role this kind of directors casting couch thing is a nomnom that is nothing new everybody knows about this it's like a known thing and people do it like they this transaction of all exchange sex for other benefits and gains is the oldest transaction since humanity and I'm not trying to say it's okay but I'm trying
to say everybody knows that and then sometimes some actresses will say oh during this you know oh I felt during that dance or whatever is he touched me in a way or he did this he did that I think this so eclipses the real problem of abuse you know it's like somebody said in the UK that women saying that oh so-and-so touch my knee is an affront and an insult to women who have actually been raped like what the hell is this like you know stop trying to steal the limelight and these women saying oh you know to get a job in here I slept with
this director or I did this I feel it's the same kind of thing it's just them trying to steal the limelight of of victims that are being abused and raped and and and they don't get a voice because they just poor and nobody really cares about poor people so this is why I feel very weary on this whole kind of me to thing I think it's just a celebrity thing I think it's just for people with money that's all it is and it's nothing really to do with women's rights and stuff like that it's just to do with people who are popular and it's about
taking them down so that's my and and and possibly about attention-seeking and stuff like this it may be I mean and it doesn't always mean and I would like to say that I feel as well it is unfair although I can see the dilemma but it isn't fair that just by casting an allegation somebody's life be is thrown upside down and then yeah I mean what's how do they recover from that if it's if it's false like I don't know how and there have mean false allegations there have been false allegations of of sexual
harassment of sexual appeal use of sexual and I'm not saying that's not to detract from the true victims but howdy how do you strike a balance between that between people who are so an example like I remember reading I was the earlier this year in the papers in the UK about a person who I think was a taxi but I think I may have shared this incident before he was a taxi driver and some woman he gave her a lift and but he recorded the whole thing she didn't know that and the next day she made an allegation of rape and his life was thrown upside down and everything and
you know he's like arrested and he's in remand and he's like this and that and he kept telling them look I've got a recording and she even slashed her own face Wow she even slashed her own face and then eventually when when his recording came came forward and you could see that he had nothing to do with this he had actually dropped her off and gone home that she and then later on she confessed but when the recording came and she did have charges brought forward but her sentence was nothing compared to what he would have suffered so I feel sometimes it's difficult in this world having that kind of balance in how do you safeguard
victims but at the same time I feel it's unfair that every time a woman say something the man has to be wronged it's it's true isn't it like if a a woman slaps a man in public everybody will just think it's the man's fault but it's so true so guys always you gotta broke but this guy told me once he said sure he showed me his pic this picture of him with a
bandage on his head so I said whoa I said what's that and he said well my wife beat me up this time this one time and I said no way he said yeh said I was sitting doing something and she brought she went to the kitchen brought a pan she smacked it over my head like about six times so I said hmm I said okay so you know the first time she smacked you the first hit that was obviously like a surprise like you obviously didn't know but why
didn't you block the others will he just like well what the hell nah now you've hit me once you might as well just carry on now I was like you know you you could have blocked but yeah so yeah so yes my point anyway coming here is it is true that if a woman slaps a man in public it's unanimously the man's fault this is why people you've gotta be weary who you
choose who you choose to be with okay so so I just think an in light of that there is a recently I've seen something going online about you know Iman Zia and from America and I just and from what I know of Imam Zia of my kind of knowing of him that he's a great person you know very humble I'm aware that he's done very good work in America sure I mean that doesn't mean to be fair I accept that that doesn't mean that people are not capable everybody's capable of doing
something but in all honesty that I read a post the other day and and the reason I'm saying this is because it's already so public that some girl said I mean look you know these allegations I mean these are all public and they're everybody's discussing them so it's no harm in commenting on them that she's saying well you know he used to support me and counsel me and but once I turned 18 he proposed my region oh I don't know so I accepted I don't know what to do and you know these kind of claims oh he could you know like so-and-so called me to a hotel oh I thought I was going to a
hotel for for just a conversation what kind of conversations go down in hotel rooms yeah why don't I get invited to these conversations can we have a group chat here can somebody send the location what kind of conversations are these oh I thought I was going for a conversation oh oh and when I was there the person said oh why don't we be intimate and I didn't want
to upset the person so I okay I got intimate you know oh but you know oh I was so weakened I had no idea what was going on and later on I realized and I cha-cha-cha-cha-cha this is it is this something you're reading oh wow yeah yeah you can't this scenario yeah you know these kind of super innocent naive
people blessed are the innocent are they still people like this come on get real get a grip of yourself do you seriously expect anybody listening to this to believe this story you know no idea oh oh I mean you know when you got intimate you didn't even know what this was oh okay you don't mean so this is what I mean the kind of ridiculous stuff that is being thrown around throwing a whole
person look what people do what I'm trying to say is that one is clear abuse a person abuses abuse categorically unacceptable Haram condemned and people if they do things like that it should be reported and they should be investigated and and served the consequences and I support any victims but let's that is abuse you know this kind of stuff like Oh a relationship that later on you don't feel so happy about that is not abuse you know like oh I get it you know like
oh yeah I'll have a relationship with somebody but you know now thinking about it you know now I don't get that kind of attention so I'm just gonna say well I don't know what I was doing and I'm so naive and I'm so getting a grip of yourself you know you can't have it both ways you can't have it like I'm you know like this is what I think the dilemma of some modern-day kind of some it's not all some women that they would say look on one hand we are super independent and we are very capable don't treat us like we're inferior we are just as capable there's gender equality and I agree with
that there is they are just as capable they deserve if there should be no disparity in genders women should have equal opportunities in everything I fully support them on the other hand they'll say oh you know when a man will speak to me I'll become so incapacitated I don't have no upper left and oh I didn't even know what was happening you know I'm so innocent and naive what so anyway some my point is this isn't to look like I say once again I
categorically support any victims and I condemn utterly abuse but abuse is abuse this other kind of stuff of relationships just gone bad or somebody feeling rejected afterwards or somebody saying oh you know he doesn't give me attention now or you read of these things or somebody for example being in a relationship and then later on just regretting it and therefore calling that retrospectively abuse these kind of actions in and of themselves are abuse I feel and they also eclipse the true cases of abuse where people have truly
suffered and people who really and those people truly need help support everything and I said look I said some women I did not say all women okay because there's many I mean I'm just talking about some of these cases that's there some men just as some men or equally just full of drama they'll do crazy stupid stuff and dumb stuff of Neanderthal stuff I mean in fact that's probably most men most men probably still are just in the under-told mode but yeah so that's some
of what's going on but I just felt seriously I read some of these things online and I just I saw it disheartened me a bit that I saw look if it's a police case let the police investigate it that's what I say what's all this like you know there's all these people online jumping and and this kind of oh this is you know oh he must have done this he must have done this and and and let's say later on you don't find anything that guy's life has just been ruined and so if it's a police case which I think this is the police are looking into it let them do it let
them do their job and people should just refrain from casting judgment let the authorities first see to it if they say there's no charge or if they say there is fine hmm yeah I mean it does look somebody said Mufti looks like you're taking sides yes I'm taking sides because of the from what I'm seeing I'm not taking sides in saying so far people have shared the story including apparently this girl whoever she is I don't know if she is but she shared the story and this is the story that oh you know like she's saying things like he
would call me to a hotel room and I would just go you know I would think we're just gonna have an honest chitchat in a hotel room oh yeah you know like oh he'd like to tell me let's be intimate and I'd be like oh okay I don't want this heart a new let's be intimate I mean what but no way she said oh he forced me she's not saying he forced me like he grabbed me and forced me and she's not saying that anyway she's just saying oh I didn't want to diss hot in him but then later on now thinking about it I don't know what I was doing and so I'm so naive in fact I didn't even understand the whole thing I just
feel like so all I'm saying is that I think it's just unfair that the way people are then treating autumn without yet the police investigation is going on but they're treating this guy like some kind of a rapist it's like whoa whoa let the investigations happen let them come out with it outcome that's what I'm saying that's what I'm saying okay okay okay people okay Hotel we're gonna have a nurse we're gonna have a lesson people in a hotel room you turn up in your robe
there's a dress code okay everybody must just wear a robe anyway let's take some questions man let's take some questions so that's not too by the way I say this stuff not to kind of I hope people don't get offended although almost everything I say offends some people but my point is look let's just be real like I don't like sometimes what this whole thing that you because I just feel sometimes it's a bit unfair I do feel it's unfair
against men now the man you know it's true because like like because I was reading this article once before actual news incident within the UK that a guy I mean okay I mean in that case I don't you know there's some details and I suppose they could confess to that later but it brought up an issue because in this particular incident this guy was having sex with his wife as she was passed out and in this particular incident I think he recorded it or something on a phone and and I think
like a year later she saw it or something but they had been several incidents like this so she told him and he went in hand reported this himself to the police and they say they said martial law saw Gotham so I'll get them straight I think he got like a 10-year sentence or something but my point was it brought up a discussion that what does what is consent like let's say because it brought up a discussion that let's say if a person is he's married now let's say if a person
sleeps in the same bed if he snuggles up to his wife and holds her or touches her and she's asleep technically he doesn't have consent but and she could do the same thing I mean she doesn't have consent to touch I mean what point do people draw the line like I mean it becomes and I just feel that it's unfair in many ways towards men I just feel that that's that's I suppose my sentiment people don't need to agree there was a case this year this one's a bit graphic people so parental advisory
I mean my whole thing is live and unrestricted but there was a case within the UK that during sexual intercourse during actual sex that a couple were having or two people were having a man and woman not a case but during this he this case right guys this is a bit graphic so those of you ain't for the faint hearted I mean it's not that shocking but still it's so but during sex he had inserted his his thumb in her rectum during sex so she then later on
press charges for that act and said that was the sex was consensual but that was an act of forced sodomy she said well I never consented to that particular act so that went to trial and her case was eventually dismissed but this is a case I believe from this year in the press in the UK and it's it's crazy this is what I mean it's crazy that way two people draw the line like so I I just that's why I was just sharing my sentiments everybody is entitled to their opinion I don't know somebody said it must have details
I've got no details but you can read about it it's on Google right let's take some questions people let's take some questions because this is gonna get way too graphic barley is saying do you mind I'm trying to eat no I don't mind at all I hope it's helped I'm just glad to have been some help right so right people let's take some questions right what are some questions
guys I'm just discussed this is look I advertise this as live and unrestricted okay so it's all adult material here it's right so what else is Kyle alright people hooked up with MIT the the crew yesterday the Baraka boys you got Harley these brother Omar Kyle Briggs the whole people did that video by the way recent video they've done masha'Allah it's very impressive if you haven't heard it do go check it out you know I'm not somebody personally I'm
not so much into Nasheed's or this kind of stuff not that there's anything wrong with them but I'm just not so much into into that but I am really impressed with what harlots Siddiq and other people like him like Jamal udine from America or sorry I think you from Canada I had done and people like this that young people who've taken it to themselves you know they've taken it upon themselves sorry to express themselves to to really just seize their own place in the Muslim
environment and that takes courage you know just because there's unfortunately a lot of hate in the Muslim community there's a lot of pouring and pulling each other down and and and I love the way that these young people young artists have just you know they've mustered the courage to just stand up to that to express themselves and produce some very good music like this track I heard recently mash of lights called I thought it was really good I mean I'm not like I said I'm not I don't often listen to any sheets but I I do really I found it very good and I do encourage people to definitely check
it out but but what I really like is the fact that these people as young people who are amidst all this confusion going on which there is a hell of a lot of confusion amongst about faith about things and and yet they've managed to really seize and they've had to really snatch this place for themselves within within the Muslim kind of platform to do that against a lot of hate so there's a lot of hate coming their way a lot of
heat but they've managed to really stand up to that and resist that and that you know that deserves the respect that it has so shallow so much you know respect to people like that another young people that are struggling to forge their identity their platform within the greater Muslim discourse I respect and encourage people to do so and don't kind of wait on others to give you that opportunity because it doesn't happen right so our Fri people what else is going on
what else does does dr. Abdul sabor Shaheen say that Adam developed in the Neandertal womb no Jakub Neanderthals are not the forefathers of Homo sapiens so Neanderthals are like cousins to homo sapiens they share common ancestors but they're not from each other so Neanderthal genes are very close to homo sapiens but they are not identical so we have the the Neanderthal genome project was complete I think by 2010 they completed it and I think in the early 2000s the human genome project was
complete so they managed to decipher the whole DNA for human the human DNA and then with whatever they could with Neanderthals and show within a decade that we are not actually from Neanderthals however we like cousins to Neanderthals okay can't you tell with the blue you know if you go past alum rock which in Birmingham quarry tell that we're cousins with Neanderthals he did this any sons me
well we seen it Oh bro any cosy so yes I like cousins with Neanderthals okay so yeah so up the support Shahin is saying that Homo sapiens already existed as this is what you can kind of take from his research and from other people who've gone down this road they say that and today science supports that homo sapiens have existed maybe for three hundred thousand years so recently they found that the the fossil from in
Morocco actually was it that's just in recent times they just found that which push back the homo sapien because they thought homo sapiens were probably 100 250 thousand years old but it pushes it back to about 300 thousand years that said the cognitive revolution in Homo sapiens occurs around 70,000 years ago approximately so homo sapiens for some reason about 70,000 years ago start behaving very differently all of a sudden they get art they stop you know they stopped painting in walls and and doing certain things and communicating in certain ways and setting out the Out
of Africa kind of journey to to dissipate across the globe and Homo sapiens has behaved very differently so what this what they call the cognitive revolution I believe that was Adam Adam was that the father of that the cognitive revolution it wasn't just being clever but it was having the level of consciousness that we have so consciousness is there by other like animals have consciousness to some extent but it's like degrees the way we can plan the way we can construct new
knowledge the way we can pass on knowledge to other people so human in fact there's a very good book actually people I a very interesting book called the illusion of knowledge and it's a very and in this book the person highlights how there is an illusion of how much knowledge we think we have we don't actually have that much knowledge compared to what we think we have as individuals that knowledge is a communal asset that human beings share the asset of knowledge and hence they can push it
forth one human being cannot his knowledge is too limited so as an example in the book the author highlights that there isn't a single human being alive today that has complete knowledge of like a Boeing jet an aeroplane not a single human being has absolute technical knowledge of the entirety of a Boeing aeroplane whereas there so there will be somebody who has complete knowledge of the aerodynamics another person who has complete knowledge of the electrics another person who has complete knowledge of
maybe the the kind of engineering another person who but not one person would have the complete knowledge of the entire the entire knowledge of a Boeing aeroplane in a similar way like if there's many things that we think we take for granted and there was a this a reach there's some research that the author in this book the illusion of knowledge draws on one example is we a researcher this this lady the professor she gave her students after asking them how well do they think the knowledge is of bicycles of bikes
and they said well yeah yeah of course of course do you know yeah yeah so what she did is she gave them all a piece of paper that had certain structures of a bicycle that was incomplete so he just had like the handles and he just had some actually asked them can you draw the rest can you complete the bike in its picture can you do even if it's a it doesn't have to be very artistic but just draw it surprisingly or whether you may anticipate this or not the majority of the people in that classroom could
not draw the bike in its entirety for it to work so they would either put the chains the chain on the bike wrong they would not connect the wheels they would not connect like the bike that they drew just would not work in the real world as a bike despite them rating their knowledge when they were asked that how would you rate your knowledge of bikes as in to ride a bike the design of a bike would you say it's pretty good you understand how bikes work so they most people rated themselves much higher than they actually were this illusion of knowledge that we rate ourselves as
knowing much more than we actually do exists so in that sense there there is this so we as human beings are social creatures I'll even hold on said I mean as Aristotle said before but you know in San Martin amitaba that we are social creatures by nature we rely on each other to kind of survive so that's the so I believe that this ability to create knowledge from scratch and then to be able to pass this this was the unique ability that Homo Sapien modern Homo sapiens the Adam Ali Salaam
had that his offspring have that gave them the upper hand against Neanderthals and other creatures on earth right so would you say a warrior of Allah has the entire knowledge of a Boeing plane what do you think Willie's of Allah unless the wellies of Allah are like aerodynamic specialists and is that way they all hang out where are the olya oh they're just in the business lounge at the airport that's where they are they're just discussing the latest aerodynamics right okay so we have this
new Airbus and we just we're just wondering about oh sorry oh sorry were you looking for the olya yeah we just as you can see we're in construction of a new Boeing sad she says please respond to my comments okay why do people mix culture with Islamic practices exactly worries why do they do that God knows what they do right okay what would you say about people having dreams of the Prophet embracing the wellies of Allah
that they follow they claim that the Woolies can do Karamat beyond the causes of nature does bleeding or falling asleep invalidate will do okay first of all the wooly question you know this is folklore religion I mean a lot of people believe it I just leave people to it you know it's people want to believe like people have an urge to believe the supernatural in all essence it doesn't work like that Allah has set laws in nature which he does not violate okay because Allah says were Lent I did at
least emitting light of Tila a life he was to violate these laws he wouldn't call you to observe them because what's the point of observing nature if nature doesn't have laws so the this is but I understand that look in folklore religion a lot of people are gonna believe in superstitions they're gonna believe in paranormal and they want to believe in stuff like that because it makes to them if a religion doesn't have like kind of fairy tales in it it doesn't sound like religion like they need it to be a mythology I get
that so I just leave them to it I'm not so I'm not gonna be condemning people and saying oh my god why do you believe paranormal or weird star for fairy tales or people want to believe it they can believe they can believe whatever they want doesn't bother me at all but in all reality objectively speaking Islam doesn't really have this kind of stuff is Lomb is not paranormal it is not superstitious it doesn't really have any of these fairy tales these things were all later on created and stories were brought about with culture and and they just kind of permeated because people needed that as a solace that's all it
was was the Arabic language always existent or did it evolved from other languages of course it evolves the Arabic language I mean all languages if language is such a fascinating topic like I think wow the fact that you know because language is like so Arabic is a Semitic language just as let's say or do or English or indo-european so there was these they believed that they were proto languages before them that were like the mother languages of them like so indo-european was like a prototype language that these people kind of
diversified and the Semites like they were people that had some language that diversified into you at suriak and Hebrew and Arabic and Aramaic and things like this now another language is like sino-tibetan languages of chinese and japanese and things like this so but it's so fascinating that how did these languages honestly I'm so fascinated by how languages would have evolved like how did they because to me that is it like you just name stuff you're gonna just say
hey okay tree tree stone stone that isn't it just doesn't cut it you see like that is amazing you know and the verse of the Quran you know I mean a Yeti that Allah from his signs you see that that extra level I wanna come Estela for al cinetic um well al wanna come that you know that that you your difference is the way you people are so different ethnically and the way the languages are so different
the in that is are yet little I mean that there are signs for those who have who know who can understand that I find that amazing a lie I think unfortunately unlike anthropology language doesn't leave fossils so how do we learn about how ancient people language is developed and I feel that our breakthrough in that will come through genes so there are certain genes that reflect languages so maybe through that we can get insight
into ancient man did he have language to what capacity of language did he have and things like that the shaitaan cannot take the form of the prophet is that correct the Shaitaan can't really take any form the Shaitaan is not going to come as a person and things like that in that sense explain surah Saad verse surah Saad verse 32 verse 40 please what are you talking about let's see people let's see
[Music] okay all right let's see if we can what is this question okay verse what 30 to 40
oh the hole alright this is gonna hmm to do with Solomon I leave Salaam yeah I did say that I was going to go through this in much more detail what I wanted to do was also include some of the tougher seal of the of the classic and contemporary scholars on it right so I didn't get round to going through the FRC but the verse is in general just so people know what we're what we're speaking about there's some
controversial turf a seed around this verse that Solomon Ali Salaam I mean the worst proceeding is what will happen a leader who does Philemon may I'm a lab in no of work that this is speaking about Solomon the son of David it or either I Leahy bill are she is often Otto as yet now the issue here is that when he was presented with these things what were these things now many people have said these were the horses that he was shown certain horses but other people have disagreed what was this thing that was presented to him it just
says these fine outstanding kind of but it mentions in the feminine form but it doesn't exactly say what they were people have understood from me that it's talking about horses but it doesn't it doesn't say that and then it says for collar India to hobble Haley and the Credo be hotter to water to villager now this is once again a verse that is ambiguous because he is saying oh I loved possession they loved these things whatever these things were these goodness the love of these things over the remembrance of my lord
until it hade away from him now once again we there's a lot of it and he and the thing and we it doesn't say what they were so some people here say oh he got so distracted by the horses and some people say no the other things and some people say he missed arsalan and some people say it hid away meant the Sun hid away and went into sunset and some people say no the horses and some people say this so there's a lot of ambiguous language in this verse in these verses and it says he says that
do her Aleya that brings them back to me for topical must ham be so clear well enough and then he began to wipe over like as in and this is why people feel it was horses and he was wiping over the kind of main and he was kind of like stroking them and he was so fascinated by not everybody agrees that he's talking about horses here and it mentions walaqad Phaeton naturally manawa alakina and I could see he just said in some manner now this verse of once again ambiguous and it's caused a lot of problems amongst more faceting because it says we tried and he was tested and one of the tests was that
he found a body on his throne now the question is it doesn't go on to explain but when the Quran is being revealed the understanding was these verses were for the Jews who already had a narrative of what was going on about Solomon and because Solomon is the great Solomon for them I mean the the Kingdom of Israel was never in the splendor and mic that it was except during the reign of Solomon and his father David now so it then says he then seeks repentance and say scholar a bit fiddley were Hubley milk and lion but really I had a member
the indica and tell her and so he kind of seeks forgiveness and asks Allah for a unique Dominion and then Allah says we allowed for him the wind we kind of we we tamed the wind for him that it would go with he's kind of come on and here people think that he would fly around with the wind and that's nothing what it's talking about it's actually talking about the ships that the wind would go in favour with so hence Solomon had one of the greatest kind of ports in his time and which really boosted his
trade and added to the glamour of and glory of his kingdom so and he says that the wind was was made tame for what shayateen cool a banana in Reverse and and it mentions here back you know the shell team diving and they would make things but was this referring to Jane or people once again some difference of opinion and how he had certain people tied up in Chains as in he'd had dominion over them and ruled them and had a partner and this is our granting a law says unknown I'm sick be ready he
said so this whole point this this verse speaking about Salomon aleihsalaam I'd like to I did say I'm gonna go through much more detail about that because I want to check what some of the contemporary more for serene had said and some of the classics and I haven't managed to do that so rather than just giving my take on it I'd rather read what all of them have said and then bring that to you but to do with this the stories that have floated amongst a lot of morph Assyrian have been things like oh that he got so distracted by his
horses and he forgot to worship God and then he sacrificed his horses to thank you know as a atonement and then he had a handicapped baby and they say this kind and that's nonsense and this this verse does not say that it does not say these things like I said it's very ambiguous language it's not clear at all what it's saying but you could twist it this way you could turn a narrative out of it hence there's some very awesome uh Vaseline I wanna see their take on this
verse in case they can add to my insight cool so I'll get back to you guys on that what are some other questions people all right what are the I'll know cut the heart saying well what do you mean by that do you mean the truth do you mean like Alif LAAM Meem and stuff like that well nobody really knows what those things mean except that they are the
NASA is asking how to raise your children how to teach your children Islam in the anti-religious times we live in how you raise your children as Muslims mostly about NASA is asking you know that's a really interesting question because I I think this is truly a challenge I guess we won't altom utley know whether we are right or wrong until they've grown up and then you're like damn why did I decide to have children
you're like right well I guess I should have been more Pro Mariah's gonna say but anyway lets you see myself I can tell you how I do things I can't say I believe that Islam teaching Islam to children this is my understanding okay and I'm not saying it's the understand me you could have your own way of doing things I'm not each to their own my understanding is not so much about teaching them certain like making them
memorize all of these and making them you know do you know these have you memorized although I'm sure that's also a good thing so sometimes they certain sewers and certain doors and and people can learn this and sometimes they breathe the meek and so you know like Kualoa law I had for example is something that children can learn sometimes quite easily like Carolla had a loss Ahmad I mean lead well I'm you learn and so it has a rhythm to it and that's all good I'm not in any way saying but that isn't the focus as the focus isn't can they memorize or like so I see sometimes some people they bring
their children up in a way that they it's like the inner way they're trying to reinforce the self like oh my child knows that they are before he does this and my child who's seven or six knows this door and before they eat or they do this and and this is all I make them read story books about this and and that's fine I mean I'm not opposed to that that's their way of doing things my understanding is more about seriously and this is my understanding it's not so much about these things but it's about
trying to make them people who have some care one for family and for people and humanity like trying to make them decent human beings as in it's not so much about like just rituals and learning rituals or learning praise but rather I would want them to be people who have like I would want them to be children who have empathy who have an understanding who who don't want to do bad things who don't like generally bad things as in harm and stuff like this
and to me that is much to me much greater than them memorizing stuff like it doesn't the memorizing stuff doesn't mean much to me as a person like it's good I'm not saying they shouldn't people shouldn't memorize things I mean it's good but that to me doesn't define a kind of success like I wouldn't I'm not the one I don't sort of so get like I wouldn't be so wow that my child knows the tenders like to me if they know some
two hours alhamdulillah if they didn't know something to us hamdulillah as long as they knew gratitude as long as they knew that that kind of humanity or compassion or they start to see and you start to see sometimes ethics and and I sometimes think it's actually really interesting like I think with my especially my daughter who's now now turn seven god oh my god I don't want I don't want them to grow any older that's I want to just freeze them at
that age see no more right but I see for example in her sometimes the kind of real like it's amazing because I definitely didn't have it as a kid but I see in her like a sense of ethics and a sense of like she won't like her right and wrong and I'm against things that are wrong even little things like cheating against he's like seeing this as wrong unethical as seeing things like we don't
do things like like lying is wrong once I said something like like once I just said look oh you could just like I just said oh just say you you know like I was just saying this I'll just say that she was like this and and she's like I have to say I've hardly ever felt so embarrassed I've never felt that embarrassed in front of adults that I felt like oh my god like so embarrassed
like I was like um but it's so true that I felt like wow I've got a you know you feel embarrassed from your kid like thinking oh my god like like I shouldn't you're right you're right I can't justify and and that to me is much more important than them knowing rituals and I think that we because I was thinking about this we did this come from because I don't remember being like that as a kid I don't remember our family growing up like that I think this is actually I
could be wrong but I think they seized by a kind of bond that the child has with its parents and I think sometimes with the father am i just giving myself some undue credit I'm not saying it's my doing but what I'm saying is there's a bond like and the bond doesn't have to be like this kind of teaching but it's just a bond that they feel I don't know I honestly can't explain it it's it's almost ineffable almost like I'm at a loss for words but
it's I feel that that this parental bond with the child somehow I don't know how but somehow nurtures ethics it's really weird but it seems to be this is what I'm thinking but then I'm looking at my other one who's like fall and is like a demon and I'm seeing more of me in her and I'm thinking oh my god oh my god this one's gonna be trouble oh my god but but this is this is the interesting
thing and so I my point is it comes back to what would I emphasize I would seriously emphasize having some of that kind of bond and doing things like these I I wouldn't stress this what I call brand Islam like Islam being just a brand like yeah don't be on your head you know girls wear a hijab or do these or you know like learn memorize $15 and like I mean I'm not saying that those things are that people can't do those things they can but if to me those things don't take precedent they don't
really mean that much to me as a person what means something to me is that they turn out inshallah and I hope everybody's kids and they turn out to be decent human beings and that's much more important so that's a that's my kind of thing I don't know what's right what's wrong guess time will unfold time will tell is there even a right and wrong in these things because there's so many confounding variables we you know we we can't control everything it's it's really scary sometimes I think as a parent you know you think bloody ell you
think how volatile life is and it's quite scary like you think that bloody hell like your kids could will at some point be going through certain things in life and it's so scary as a thought it's like what the hell like you you want to kind of shelter them from everything you want to say all right well how can we and I don't mean in I I don't mean in an overprotective I suppose it is all of a predictive but I don't mean in the stuff like I just mean in the unnecessary stuff in life
that's what I mean but yeah well hosea has as has jumped in with a question that's obviously ever so important he's smoking cigarettes haram any cuz is it all light you see granny cigarettes I don't believe I don't believe our Islamically Haram but I am opposed to cigarettes i I do condemn them because I did because they're just so bad for your
health I condemn these kind of things because I think they just they're just a waste of money it's an unnecessary addiction it causes a lot of psychological just anxiety and harm and stuff like these and it's a waste of money and it's a waste of health so I am against cigarettes but I don't feel that it has you see to declare something Haram in my understanding the evidence has to be from the Quran and Sunnah and he has to be compelling like has to be that this is something so ugly that God
has declared it Haram and I don't believe God has declared haram but I feel that he has given human beings freedom but he's given them common sense and most have clearly chosen that God says don't worry I've given the maken and then they go no it's crazy human beings huh it kind of makes sense why the Angels asked that question
of saying that human beings that they these human beings that you know they don't look so different from the Neanderthals these ones [Laughter] Zamani alia said smoking is good broth good yeah I mean III get the fact that it is true that I suppose smoking for some reason the image of it has a kind of coolness to it it has an appeal and if I'm gonna be honest it hasn't
appealed the image of it I don't know why but it does it has a kind of I mean I don't smoke in my teens I actually tried to smoke but I actually forced myself to force myself to smoke just because my friends were smoking and for some reason I just couldn't I hate the taste and it would just make me coffin coffin I couldn't do it I forced myself I tried to I tried hard to smoke that I just couldn't smoke and so ah so I suppose Allah saved me huh humbie
Kia what is it Zin degui apne Jeff is chocol say goes really the hum BK ad can get a hoe directed now when life has seen all these things that has seen what can we say except that God favored us yet one once already right okay let's take some questions let's do a bit of a rapid round people some rapid round what is going on what is going on huh did I let saute well let's take some people have submitted some questions
then they're gonna say you know we submit these questions and Mufti doesn't even look at them who speaks for slaw man do you speak for Islam as a Musti huh calm down bro looks like somebody's got blood pressure and when you have placed doubts on the basis of Islam don't you evidently place doubts on yourself as well and your credentials hahaha was there a question
in that I who speaks for Islam and do you speak for Islam as a Mufti I guess so right is yep I'm a Mufti so and when you have placed doubts on the basis of Islam I haven't placed doubts on the basis of Islam I've just said that we should be realistic about faith that's all that faith is faith right that faith is faith
somebody just phoning me right okay what is uh so anyway hahaha I don't know what hahaha about that was Abdullah Oh wah wah wah always picture these people in rage I picture these people always like very robotic lifestyle is everything sale hamdulillah [Laughter] yeah where is the spirit of the Deen
Ghana right okay let me what is the difference between the humble ease and the Wahabis oh I mean that's a difference as in the humbly is a school affect and also a school of art EDA and the Wahabis emerged from the humble ease but they went on to deny all methods and schools of law and in a key that did the same thing so we now see that the humble ease although hobbies but in fact they're
different things is there anything wrong with being a Maliki hell no hell no people school of Madinah all the way and following the early Hanafy principles of hadith contrary to the famous chef ie principles not at all and in fact the Maliki principles are very similar Robin has asked a wry Robin come estas I write guitar I look at that Mufti oblate some Muslims believe we as Muslims should only live in Muslim lands I believe the opposite also I was taught early on Sharia makes this claim of
living in the land of our birth and that Sharia encourages this can you please touch on this today I will be in class okay right so there is no such thing that you know this thing of Muslims ought to migrate what do you mean we ought to migrate Islam is for the whole world Islam is for the whole world people we don't have to migrate anyway okay so this thing that Muslims need to get up and you know they need to immigrate to Muslim countries why and what for what Muslim country you are you
buzzing what Saudi Arabia hell no man I wouldn't wanna I love living in the UK I'm gonna be honest I mean the UK and Birmingham the UK to me is home I mean I wouldn't wanna definitely wouldn't want to live in a Muslim country I mean I'd like to visit not live he joking I mean even the people in those countries would want to live here I'm just being I'm being honest that even the people in Pakistan or in Saudi Arabia would rather just be living
here they wouldn't want to live in those countries are totalitarian I mean Saudi Arabia is a totalitarian tyrannical kind of state Pakistan okay that the government isn't that imposing that people have more freedoms but but this it's it's so corrupt I mean there's a hell of a lot of this a huge struggle a social struggle to live in countries like that there is no categorical there is nothing like this that all Muslims need to live in a particular land that's ridiculous and the Prophet never used to say things do you think they weren't Muslims living in Makkah when the Prophet was living in
Medina they were Muslims living in Makkah why didn't he say oh you must all migrate you know what why don't these people say things that other Islam says all you must all migrate to no there's no such thing no such thing you know the Prophet said to people that yes those of you who want to migrate and they migrated with the Prophet people and some people didn't prophet never ever imposed on people now you need to and they and they can hold this is the problem with cherry picking certain hadith that they miss lead other people
cause doubt okay wasup has asked so I hope that answers the question right wasup has asked who is considered at the youth cuckolded in Islam according to this hadith he's a man who is okay with his wife not covering her he considered at the youth is this hadith authentic in narrated by Nasser ie from Abdullah nama who said The Messenger of Allah said there are three whom Allah who may he be glorified will not look on the day of
judgment the one who is defiant towards his parents the woman who imitates men and the cuckold right okay you know look first of all this is another thing that we you have today and I think the seller fees probably make the greatest noise about this and this is then sometimes followed by some of you Bundy's I haven't seen the other groups usually make noise about this but they the misuse of this term the youth okay which comes from making facade in the earth
that's all fill up like you see the thing like this having that this kind of creating corruption and stuff like this and the guy that has become corrupt so this guy whoever you like hypothetical some person who become so corrupt as in to have no modesty what was this talking about in some hadith literature this was talking about things like people for example who were prepared to have no modesty in either protecting or in allowing so for example there was things
like prostitution going on in the time of the Prophet they these things were happening you these things have happened throughout all societies you know it's not that this is a modern phenomenon this kind of stuff did occur before the prophet's time through the prophet's lifetime and after the Prophet people societies have had things like this like prostitution stuff like this so people who didn't care that their own family members were doing things like these they would be considered people like oh look to that extent you don't even have that kind of modesty not what happened
is this term this term like the youth has been recreated so it's been hijacked and then recreated by modern-day Puritan ists to mean anything that they feel is against controlling women so for example Oh a woman must wear a hijab now we call it a hijab a female head covering if she doesn't wear that she her husband is of the youth like the person is saying
what ridiculous kind of water stupid and by the way the youth is an Arabic term I'm not saying the word the youth in English I'm not saying that with an accent like yo their youth the youth them you know I'm not saying that the youth is one word dal yeah while okay the youth now this it means somebody who is morally corrupt morally corrupt does not mean all your wife doesn't wear a head covering you're morally corrupt don't be stupid
that's a ridiculous oh you you know somebody a woman is speaking with men oh my god why is she speaking with men oh my god oh my god you know this is her husband or her brothers or her father must be a D youth I mean what is it that they think happens when women speak with men these people live in some fantasy world isn't it that they think like that you know the moment a woman says hello
that is immediately followed by just full sex like there's no that that it just escalates from note 200 in in like a in 0.1 second flat it's just high and then they're just having sex that's how the world works in the minds of these people I mean if it did work like that I mean if only the world work like that
would be like that would be a man's dream come true that's all yet hello it's done the deal is sealed okay that's it it's just I just gotta say hi that's it right so it doesn't work like that so I don't know why people think oh if the woman goes out oh my god her husband or her father all her brothers must be morally corrupt why we think women didn't go out in the profits time profit never ever cause people never ever called people the youth ever he never used this this has been re-engineered
that's what I'm saying look like I'll give you an example this a hadith in which a person comes to the prophet and he says that oh a woman came like like a like I suppose like a door-to-door salesman like that like people would sell like that like peddling they would go from door to door so she came knocked on his door selling something and he said to her look why don't you come in you know that one that oh that's really fascinating why don't
you just come in so she came in and he couldn't help himself he was like all over her so he was kissing her and fondling her and stuff like this and then she she went so he then goes to the Prophet and tells the Prophet he kind of confesses that look okay you know I I did this I shouldn't have done this but I did this he says that you know this woman came and I invited her in and we we kissed and fondled and stuff like this and the Prophet said to him in that hadith in this particular hadith I believe this one's in Abu Dawood the
Prophet said to him well did you pray us off Salaam and he says yeah I prayed outside and the Prophet says well that's an atonement it has washed away what you've done my point of saying this was the Prophet never said you and I bet her her father is at the youth or you know like my point is that this was never the style of the Prophet to do these kind of things to say these kind of things to accuse people of being morally corrupt and women were always out what do you think like women were out in the marketplaces all the time in the
prophets time as well it's nothing you know this kind of stuff isn't like the hadith of of what's-his-name of Busan Abuk the hadith of I mean it's in Buhari I'll bring it up the hadith in which he comes to her house to visit her nobody else is there and she was in an Aida and her idea was over and she claims the famous hadith because she had given birth so she felt her Aida had finished and he says to her no but you still have so
much left on your head then she said no but I gave birth so there finishes and so they get into this kind of debate and she says well let me go ask the Prophet so she asks the Prophet and the Prophet says well yeah that's right that the it does finished so let me see is it this one but the the point is in the hadith he is the one that marries her then because when he comes to see her in a house he says oh what Miley Araki how
come I see you all done up because she had all that henna and stuff you know like mehndi like that or done on her hands and stuff like this and and she was wearing certain presumably certain kind of jewelry and and he says to her how come I see you all turn up as though you're looking to get married and she says and and he says but I thought you're in your it there and she says no my the finish and then they have this debate so the point is when she goes to the prophet and the Prophet says no you're right lead day is over with childbirth he's the one she marries so the Prophet doesn't say hey what were you doing in a house when nobody else
was there you'd the youth this was not you see you don't this is not what people would do interacting all the time so I feel that this new understanding that we have that everybody is like so robotic and they don't speak to the opposite gender and they like souls segregate this is an innovation that we have this was not there in the time of the Prophet and in the time the Prophet men and women were in their shared space whether it was in the mosque whether it was in the marketplace everywhere was shared space today and if the Prophet wanted he
could have created a baryonic didn't so people that today place a barrier in many ways they claim that they feel that they more worrisome about the Deen than the Prophet because the Prophet what you're telling me men were men and women weren't women back then was they doing all these things in fact there's another hadith that the person came and I like this one any and he said you know he said oh I I in that particularly wire that he committed zina and and in that particular one a similar kind of thing that the Prophet doesn't he doesn't get kind of punished or anything and the
Prophet kind of says well about a kuffara and that is then used by some of these scholars who felt that their the punishment for xenon stuff was something that could change with time they use that hadith as an evidence for that but that's a different discussion but my point being that that you see today we have imposed all this new morality ok right so let's take some other questions it says can you can we recite the different modes of the Quran yeah I mean there's different ways to read the Quran
as in some of the I mean it's not a good analogy but it's like saying almost like dialectical accents and things like that will we be seeing more women in your snaps hell no let there be mystery ah let there be some mystery people in life why should we follow method is it permitted to keep a dog as a pet in Maliki and Hanna FIFA in the Maliki think it definitely is you can keep a
dog that is fine okay why should we follow a method I do have to avoid hell even if you're not hundred percent convinced will you still go to hell hell I mean these are things of the arcade and nobody really knows I mean I've said before that Muslims do believe that do people if Allah as [ __ ] adenine as he said if Allah wants nobody has to go to hell I mean these kind of things Allah has said in the Quran what will actually
happen when we die only Allah knows best and he doesn't and as the Prophet said look it's not he said it's not based on your good deeds it's just based on the grace of God so yeah so I mean how comes we don't have more female hadith narrators they have been female hadith narrators but you're right there they have been far outnumbered by men but that's just because the nature of society and the nature of society in certain ways that generally as you can imagine so for example life just as it is in modern-day societies as well that
women they will always face a dilemma as certain points like do they for example having children having a child will naturally cause a new chapter in a woman's life so even like should should have - even in the modern world she'd have to go on maternity leave will she return to her career so hence you get a lot of women that they don't pursue careers to certain extent because there comes a choice with that there comes a point where they have to make a choice and some women then think ok well I I
don't want children that's their choice but I mean historically most people wanted children so you can imagine that these things have the the preoccupations it's not easy as a woman then you know going place to place and studying and stuff like this and yeah so I think that definitely contributed I'm not saying it's the sole factor but it contributed to this two females inherit the same amount as males I would feel that in the modern day in the modern day and age
last year the Grand Mufti of Tunisia and the d1 if that the major fatwa council in Tunis which is based on Maliki filk gave the fatwa that men and women are equal in inheritance I feel that in this day and age their fatwa holds white and and it can be followed and people who don't want to follow it that's up to them but people who want to follow it and I'm and I welcome this kind of each they had in this day and age and this is nothing so new you have the great Maliki
scholar even our dawn who was a great Malachy he's the grandson I believe for the great grandson of the great Maliki a broadcast man brutally who was from the 8th century who said in his day and age he gave the ruling that the punishments had changed but his grandson or his great-grandson even our lawn he had passed a ruling great Maliki legends by the way these people very respected he had given the fatwa in his day and age that women would inherit half 50% of their husband's wealth and although when
you look at the Quran if you're reading the Quranic reading when it mentions and that women will either get for example 1/4 or 1/8 or they'll get this but they will never get 1/2 of the husband's wealth now he said that the day and age had changed and women are contributing to the household this is in his time he said because women in their day and age they had forming and he said that women go and work on the fields with their husband and the husband would not be able to ascertain his his wealth he will not be
able to provide a home the way he did and aggregate that much that he did over his lifetime except with the support of his wife so she is entitled to 50% and this must Allah became known as alkyd was a ayah in Maliki Vic and it is still today present in Morocco I mean this debate over whether its part whether they bring in as law but it is part of the Moroccan legal heritage as well so and it's based on even our dunes fatwa of he called the Al Kut was the I and some people call it how do you call head because it's to do with the labor of the hand
I'll courtesy ayah means labor because the wife she worked and helped contribute now so I support that 100% I think that women would be 50 percent entitled to like the the wealth of the husband and the children as well I'm the wife 50 percent likes you if she contributed that but that I see I just feel there's a distinction between that and what we see sometimes in in some modern legal systems where a woman could marry a man and then six months later take half of his wealth I find that to
be unjust like I think that that's unfair that you could you know you couldn't and I feel that Islam was very clear on these points that that would be unjust and I think that is spot on and today those systems are say that are being unfair that just because you marry somebody and live with them for a year or even two years what you should take into consideration is the wealth during the marriage not if like if a person was wealthy already had businesses or had things and he gets married and now one year later has a divorce and the wife says well I want fifty percent of your
assets this is what honestly this is why it's like that stand-up comedian who said well you know he said why get married just just pick a girl that you hate and buy a to say hey you know I hate you why don't I just buy you a house and also prenup prenuptial agreements don't hold any validity in the United Kingdom so many people don't know this by the way yeah because they watch so many American movies they think that this is America
so in Great Britain in the UK prenups are not valid now I know there's that case of the German couple and stuff like this that was in court but generally they don't hold any legal validity they're not binding in any way so I'm just saying I feel that is unfair but Islamically generally speaking if a wife had a lifetime with a husband she is definitely I agree with it not alone and the modern-day contemporary system that she ought to be and is eligible just as
what the recent Tunisian fatwa council has given last year the fatwa that boys and girls in these in our modern day and age are equal in inheritance okay so and I feel that that's that's alright so I feel I wish I could get an american-style cheeseburger in the UK there are american-style cheeseburgers this I'm sure I think so anyway I don't know I mean there's that but they generally they classed as american-style you get quite a few and where we can
kind of burger shops so right did Imam Shafi say learning Arabic is worship and why all right people I think we let's start wrapping it up yes he did and I agree with him but I don't think of it as yg buzzing sinful but I would call it yg buzzing sometimes I would declare certain things Haram or yg but I wouldn't mean I agree that I don't think of them as in a sinful way but I think of them in a way that it's an utter must and ought to be done but so I would agree that it's a must if a person can learn our week but I don't
think it's something to do it's sin but rather that's something they should want to do when will you be doing more detailed lectures in sha Allah tsun tsun tsun tsun tsun I just get so to many TV series people to many TV series to catch up on intention needed after sexual relations for a take-back for a walk for a while did you just ask do you need intention for sexual relations or no
also sorry for it's all hot I'm sorry your honor that that act of safe didn't count because I didn't have intention I was supposed to make intention like I am making intention to now to do and I didn't get the intention right so that my defense stands imagine arguing that in front of a jury the Honorable ladies and gentlemen of
the jury please the defendant clearly did not have intention I mean just look at his face he didn't even know which way it lowers how could he be making intention right so all right people I think let's wrap it up doesn't doing something more cruel make you a bad person not at all you can do makrooh things these are things that aren't just like as in you shouldn't do them but I suppose we do them all the time yeah but no it doesn't make you a bad
person per se people I'm gonna wrap it up with that any issues any questions feel free to give me a shell the usual people facebook Messenger try on my tea so I have two two profiles of my public profile and my personal one which both must you believe we can message either on my personal one I get to send voice notes back so it's easier for me rather than typing and do like my page yeah Kakadu yeah yeah you can but you can look at iupi why are people not like that goddamn page for
