What this part covers
machinesummary, machine-writtenMufti Abu Layth notes that his account of Safiyya was mostly well received, but some critics still found fault, which he illustrates with the story of a wife who cannot be pleased.
In more detail
Mufti Abu Layth says he has received a fresh refutation, prompted by his narrative that Safiyya, the wife of the Prophet, was not held as a slave and was not raped. He says many Muslims received it well, while some who dislike him had to accept it but still took a dig, one saying that he might be right on this but is still a government spy. He tells the story of a wife who is never happy with her husband and praises another man who can fly; the next day the husband flies over the house, and when he tells her it was him she says one of his legs was bent. He uses it to say that some people cannot be pleased.

unfortunately I've had a fresh refutation people against me I don't know why these things happen but they do so based on my Sofia story not Sofia story but my narrative and explaining that Sofia the wife of the prophet sallallaahu alayhi wasalam wasn't held a slave and she wasn't raped and these kind of things and and I put that out and to be fair hamdulillah many Muslims kind of that I've come across who I've come across my material
received it well and they were kind of they they they were very receptive to it and it's interesting because some people kind of hate me so much so they were kind of like who you know like they you know they have to receive it but they still have to take a big so you know it's like we can't take it just nicely from him so one person said oh well you know okay he might be right on this but he's still a government spy god the hate
runs deep I tell you you know so there's like that story of the of the of this this husband whose wife is never happy with him which is always complaining you know you're you're so kind of you know you're useless you are you bla bla bla bla useless name she say to him this one day what kind of a man are you they the this is like an audible saying she says what kind of a man are you says he knows that guy he's a real man like look at him he can fly so I'm
flying so then the husband says really he says okay then so the husband the next day flies in this story he flies over the house right so he's flying over and she sees this person flying and then she says so he comes and he says hey did you see somebody flying over the house today and she says yeah I did and he goes well uh-huh who do you think that was that was me so she goes is you huh she goes no one day one of your legs
was bent so this is the you know some people you can't please them so anyway and some Muslims surprisingly are still problematizing my this is the shocking thing check this out forms so they say oh you know you said this you said that Sophia the wife of the Prophet the Prophet couldn't have taken her as a slave or married her there and then because she had to sit a night there which is a verse in the Quran you know I live in a to her phone I mean come here the RunAs virgin that and but this
