Durvasa I live or kaha mice where is the wine house the place that people go to drink the pub where is the pub and where is the movie like the worlds apart halep says kaha me naked avasara lib or kaha vice piratin Argentina Calvo D etat ha k ominously he says but all I know is that yesterday as I was leaving he was entering that's all
I know the legend Valley to start off with a poem of his and I think it's actually actually this is a very that particular poem of his has alright I'm just gonna try to that's better I don't know why this thing is playing up a bit let me try to amend this see if I or will I just end up knocking everything over if I try I'm just thinking or shall I leave it is if it's
I can't tell how if it's having I can try to amend and I said all right if it's going all right cool let me see if I can amend something here Oh momento momento me gente let me see right just one moment one moment so I don't know if I
think I've it may have no not still still the same bloody oh well let me try and trying to work with this thing right here I'm not a I'm okay that's all
right so I think I've I don't know it's not working it's giving let me see let me try to turn this like that see if that does anything to it okay I think I've amended certain things
hopefully that's a bit better right so uh as I was saying about Holly we see if I leave her has a very interesting line in that folks where he says hidaka vast a cobby say para da Naruto zalem that for the love of God do not remove the cloth of the Kaaba do not take that off can he s are now who young be very car fierce anomaly that God forbid that we
remove the veil of the Kaaba and beneath it are the same idols of old [Laughter] Jew dark a vast a cabeza perdana putra zalem can he asana who young bee waha kaffir sanam nicly and this there's a very deeper meaning to all of these it's not just the you know it's it's obviously there's the discipline that's the whole kind of I suppose humor aspect but the deeper sight all of this is that
human beings in essence do we have we really moved away from the idols and the gods of old or simply have we just islamís eyes everything Islamized the old idols and you know we've given it an Islamic veneer and everything just carries on as is there was a question somebody asked me about about the black stone
loose talk with the opposite gender what kind of loop yakoo she she was that two three Chief Richard Childress up he's asking about loose talk what kind of loose talk are we talking about if you can give a demo in share a comment of your loose talk yeah cool Chaudhry Saab and we can all pass judgment on it we can see if it's too loose or mm just about okay not loose
enough does Allah love the disbelievers Allah hates does he hate the disbelievers the coup for the infidels Allah loves all of his creation regardless of faith okay regardless of faith right so I'm still somebody said what's loose talk I don't know I wanted to see an example if the rebel and I'm Esalen give us an example of this loose
talk right so what else are we yeah cool that's the old way Salaam somebody is saying Salam Fawzia uh-huh yeah yeh catch a turtle dry-humping is somebody using my live video to to try to are they trying to score using my life you car horn ah hey Baba what's going on right so right well as I was saying coming back to this question
about the black stone is there something holy about the black stone there the truth is right okay so you have we have general myths within Islam so we have what are kind of like urban meets what many Muslims believe even though it's not actually true it's not authentic from an Islamic perspective an example of this will be things like so many Muslims believe believe it or not
they'll believe things like I don't know like if a person changes his clothes his wooden brakes as crazy as that may sound that's true false he has said assalamu alaikum as-salaam right so Aden right people tuning in click like click share people spread spread the goodness out there right so coming but focusing on this question so there's many myths that you have in
Islam that people commonly believe like for example let's talk for example many people believe that Palach divorce cannot be granted during pregnancy many people believe this yet there is actually a verse of the Quran which states about women who are pregnant and going through italic so despite sometimes they're being very clear-cut evidences in the Quran or teachings there are urban myths and urban beliefs that sometimes may have their roots in weak hadith or things or just cultural
folklore and amongst these are things like so a common one another common one is like istikhara that this kind of when people want to do something usually it's when they want to get married that's the only time people really use this to horrible they like jello before I before I mess this one up let me ask let me ask God let me pin this one on him yes no yes no yes no should I
this notion right so on everything else in life God God God charge but on this yes so is this is this kind of work is it not gonna work so people and then there's a cultural the cultural myths about istikhara is that they're gonna have some dream and this there's no such thing in Islam that you're gonna have a dream and but this is a widely held belief that many Muslims have that I'm
gonna go to sleep and I'm gonna have some some very interesting dream and that's gonna be God talking to me telling me marry or don't marry or so this is what happens and right so there's no such thing as these are just myths by the way so like this there is a myth that Muslims have that they believe that the black stone is something right that is something out of this world it is from for example from heaven or it
is the common aspect that people believe is that this black stone used to be a white pearly a pearly white okay that was as pure as the driven snow and then this became darkened and blackened over time due to the sins of mankind so as man has plagued this earth with sins and savagery and brutality and oppression the black stone began or sorry the white stone the heavenly stone
began to darken in color until it became a gruesome black which was plagued with sins as nice as that sounds or as interesting as that sounds it's all made up there's no such thing as [Music] as this becoming black and due to sins okay there is no such thing there is there are several hadith let me explain by the way so all memento own momento momento so
alright if so I'll bring up some of the a hadith by the way so this is a hadith in Tirmidhi the hadith and a flute a bear call ahead definitely an authority necessary incited me to bait and even a burst Pollock all our soul of law he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Nestle had general S word mineral Jenna I should to be autumn in eleven for some water - Kataya bani adam' so that that this hadith is being transmitted that the Prophet allegedly said that this
stone came down to us from paradise it was more white than the color of milk and then the sins and mistakes of the children of Adam have blackened this this stone in unnecessary it is the same from homogeneous elma from a partner sir even say didn't you bei der nibbler first the Prophet said al hydral s Whitman agenda that is from paradise Muslims of Ahmed Al hydral s word mean of genomic an I said to be album in a third and it was more white than the driven snow
and then the sins of Adam of the sari of the children of Adam have right have blackened this dome so just one moment I'm just bringing this up right so so this hadith you will see this kind with a few variations to it quite popular and it is widespread it is often people talk about this hadith it is not actually true in any sense like that these hadith
all of these hadith proof much have huge problems with them and the popular chain that I've quoted all of these tend to pretty much go from I mean it's allegedly from even if not a person from him sizable job aid but they rest on this figure called up I'd nursery and then from him other people take this a pipe nurse Abe although people do take hadith from him he's somebody who had a later age in his life and there Oh Lamar claimed that he the scholars of hadith tell us inform us that he suffered from dementia if they
lot at the towards the end of his life and he just and he transmitted things that don't make sense that his memory messed up to the era he flew hence you find people like Imam Bihari and these other people did not rely on him yeah him mine I did not consider him really reliable due to due to that that he mentions that he has asked alot and his his his changes and people place him in the same category as other weak or words like Laettner like Latham no be so lame and people but the point is what I'm trying to say is that this a fide nursery is a problematic narrator and
the change pretty much go through him now there are one two other chains and they have problems like wives however there is a different hadith I'd like to draw your attention to and that is in salvo Hari we American haha Brody Lujan came to the Hajj alas wealth for all and then he said in nila alum he said any Adam that I know like what's addressing this in front of people he said I know Annika Hodja related or wallet and found
that you are simply a stone you bring no harm to people and you can never benefit anybody you're just a stone that's all you are well Ola enira a tuna be a sallallahu alayhi wa sallam you pubblic markable talk and this is a very important honey that say Nomar said that if it were not that I saw the messenger of allah kiss you then i would never have kissed you as a stone now you're simply a stone meaningless
that this is simply a ritual so sometimes we have rituals and in line with the rituals we do certain things the messenger of allah kissed this the black stone and out of that ritual muslims follow in the footsteps of the prophet in kissing the black stone but along the way a lot of these kind of myths have become generated and people have started to believe that the black stone is somehow some something major and a lot of non-muslims have picked up on this as well and a lot of X Muslims and atheists and they have said that
this is Muslims just worshipping a pagan god of these that they you know prostrate to and bow to and kiss this black stone and this used to be some kind of ancient God right now class ancient I mean speaking from the ancient times it was not a god or anything like that but the black stone was something that the Arabs kind of treated in a sanctimonious way that they believed it had some sanctity to it like some holiness but not that it was they never as far as I'm aware they never treated
it as a God I mean I don't know if some of them but not that I'm aware of it's not in popular transmission that they worship the black stone they worshipped idols but not the black stone my thoughts are maybe the black stone is part of a meteorite or something like this that did fall from the heavens as in when I say heavens I don't mean paradise heaven but the cosmos and and therefore the the ancient Arabs treated it with that sanctity that this came out of the sky he came out of the heavens above for them I do actually believe that most likely
possibly maybe part of a meteor meteorite or something like this that kind of fell and and hence I don't know so that so that may give it some kind of unique historicity to it they're all I was listening to a lecture by dr. Adnan Ibrahim where he was speaking on the black stone and it was quite interesting and and he was referring to a another scholar who's passed away in recent times as a rule Najjar and and and starting a jar species he's kind of like a he's a
muslim scholar who was well into the kind of scientific thing but I'm not actually I'm a bit reluctant to say the full-on scientific thing because I think he was simply open to some kind of scientific inquiry but not in the way that generally scientists see it so he had like a strange interpretation on things at all times and I don't know I I find some of them quite strange some of them I'm I'm open to suggestion but the tauren ajar had made of request an open request that Muslims ought to take a tiny fragment of the black stone and
send it into a laboratory to have it examined and we ought to see is this I mean his argument was hopefully we can tell it's from Pericles I mean there's nothing from paradise or anything like that in this world okay we have to come to terms with things like these but nevertheless I do agree with this sentiment it would be great if we could take a very tiny minuscule amount of the black stone and have it examined just a tiny speck I mean nothing that would it cause any kind of loss to the black stone but be able to have it examined
and see is this because I would feel that maybe it is some kind of meteorite or material like that but it's interesting you see ties in with that like I was saying about that poem of Kali da da da que vas de cabeza para donäôt assalam that don't lift the cloth of the veil of the Kaaba Gainey SR now who ya be vahik a fierce anomaly clear that you know perhaps all we're going to find is just the idols of old once we remove the veil of the Kaaba and following these things
with great wisdom in them really and there was a line of a legend poetess world south of sanity legend where he where he has this speaking about realities and what questioning realities and and he has a line in in line with that where he says kidney heart iike thing no sorry kidney he bought that their ass nam Kasahara that how our worship so much of it it really is carried on the back of just false idols
like we we we really even though everything that we do has some kind of our worship or not not everything but most people that our worship lasts because in essence we hinge it on some idols and the idols may not be idols as in actual statues but they are in some way that we struggle with though Heath and I kind of agree with that I think we as human beings do struggle with the heathen and I think Muslims are no
different and over the time we have just returned in many ways to the ways of our kind of pagan heathen ancestors but not full-on but we've kind of Islamist sized certain things and you know like will now go to graves and ask the graves and we'll do these and we'll do that and and it's really in essence the same kind of thing except now it's Islamic you know it's like it's a mark but it's an Islamic mug
so I think I find those things interesting and and souther Siddiqui he was a legend one of my favorite kind of poets many and he finishes that pull him off with this line where he says that he says kitten eat the jelly or say got a jelly Hanna saw her kitten II haqeeqat in here Oh harm kiss a hurry that he says that how many realities get me haqiqat gettin eat the jelly on sale you know with revelations of truth absolute
pure truth getting eat the jelly on say her jelly enhance on that with the sheer with 100% unadulterated truth how many houses are aflame that life just can't go on Kenya if we stick to honesty we're all doomed there's no hope if we stick to honesty I mean pure brutal honesty and he says that you know this rebel like reverent
like truth in that sense get Anita jelly on say girl generation get me haqiqat ma Oh harm Kesari that how many realities they continue and persist only because they hinged on an illusion it's amazing that kidney haqiqa then he ohon gets a heart that and I find that such a problem profound the profundity of that poem honestly it's it's amazing it's
overwhelming because it's so true that our lives just could not go on really in any meaningful way without hinging them on to some kind of illusion and I feel that and if you look around that that's almost everything in our life from things like money as an example is nothing but a psycho social construct it has no entity money does not exist many of our beliefs don't have that they're part of the imaginative realm they don't actually have a physical reality to them even fundamental beliefs like freedoms if you
think about it they don't really exist just in the mind human beings have come up with these things rights human rights everything you know rulership politics law nation-states relationships institutions of marriage possession just being able to possess things transactions all human transactions in essence are just it's just any it has no real entity to it if you think about it it's amazing it it blows your mind
so yeah so I think any way that some of us other Siddiqui to to to get into the mood ah what else is going on people what else is going on money exists Mufti Sahib well naman gee money does not actually exist I understand the paper exists or gold exists but it's not really money that's simply in our imaginative realms that we've just
agreed that it's money we've just agreed that it has some value it doesn't have any intrinsic value it doesn't actually exist it's a psychosocial construct that human beings have made right mostly you need to do some quick rapid-fire rounds okay Marcus Aurelius is in the house people Marco can you please explain argument the Quran creativeness between Sunnis and martyrs Alize time doesn't exist do you have any thoughts on people watching
the show that focused on the supernatural demons etc Elizabeth there are these things like demons and all this stuff is just folklore it doesn't have many Muslims unfortunately do believe these things but that's like because many human beings just believe these things they're just part of the supernatural realm that we have had for so many millennia in our history and our collective consciousness that is difficult to debunk these things of like demons and supernatural ghosts and all these kind of things nothing like that
really is happening Muslims what they do is they then Islamic sighs it they give it an Islamic veneer I know this could be genes this could be this this could be that it's nothing like that and I've got detailed videos on that I mean most er you still in touch with chef Suleiman when al I I mean as in I'm in touch with him as in I yeah I think occasionally we'll you know why I may send a message or things like this I haven't spoken to him in of off in a while I hope he is well inshallah is an amazing person what
was the reason the Prophet kissed the stone right so the reason the Prophet kiss the stone I think it was a ritual I think the Prophet respected that ritual that the fact that look for whatever reason that there was a kind of respect as part of the ritual shown to the house because the Kaaba in essence what is the Kaaba the Kaaba is just bricks it's nothing holy per se it's only holy because we've said it's holy in Islam and because we're going to say well you know the
Prophet Abraham built it but I'm just saying just because somebody a prophet built something it doesn't make it that's I'm sure like for example if the Prophet Abraham built himself a house people are not gonna start worshipping around the house it's not like that so it's just that he was commanded and he instructed so he built this structure it's in essence just bricks it doesn't have any intrinsic value hence the Prophet said that that the honor of a Muslim is much more valuable than this Kaaba the Kaaba could be destroyed a
hundred times over but the honour of a Muslim should not be desecrated the Kaaba was simply bricks and it was it's given a sanctity like Muslims treated in such a holy way which rightly so because it's a ritual it's it's given a point of focus a building that has this kind of sanctity that has this kind of spirituality associated with it but in essence I'm just saying the bricks in themselves are not it's not like that is God it's not something we don't worship the Kaaba it's just a point of direction
but and the black stone was part of the Kaaba when they built it originally the Arabs and and they had this kind of respect and all towards it and so the Prophet continued in that light otherwise if you think about it a lot of the actions that Islam continued upon were in essence just actions that the Arabs were doing they that were non Islam like they weren't from Islam they were just practices that were there but then the Prophet ordained them as in he he he kept them as Islamic rituals and so we practice those today out of honor
and love and respect and a commitment to Allah and His Messenger what do you make of the mass conversions happening in Keithley right ok right ok so I've seen these clips going around somebody sent me some clips I couldn't tell what I mean I don't know whether they're just a prank or if it's real or I've probably seen about two now but some presumably some Pakistani kind of lads British Pakistani thus are they from I think Bradford or Keithley or whatever
is and they're now X Muslims and the Christians and they're converting other Muslims or young Asian young Pakistani lads saying look why don't you you know become a Christian and embrace the Savior and then the guys like yes okay excellent and I seen one way they immersing him into baptizing him in into a bath of water and they kind of got the shower on him these kinky games all in the name of
religion huh they go oh so you want to convert well I have the perfect game for you in mind step this way into my shower please it's like God ease up I I said I want to convert to Islam digi this is the art of submission first of all the Guinness we're gonna welcome you with some tender loving care and so they had
this guy in the shower obviously where most conversions take place so so he's in he's in this bathtub he's lying down and got the shower over him and and he's saying in the name of the father and the spirit and asari in Jesus and and the Holy Ghost and and so he's converted in he embraces the Savior Jesus Christ peace be upon him as is as is Messiah and that's as his Savior sorry and
that's but I look I wouldn't really somebody people have asked me one to people what do you think about these I mean I don't see what the I think there's two things I'd like to highlight one is some people have high that these people are vulnerable that the guy that this was taken into the show the guy that was lead led into the bathroom and into the bath in the shower that he may not be mentally stable I mean if that be the case and that is a
legitimate concern I think in that case any person who's not mentally stable people should not be trying to exploit these individuals for any religion including Islam these people that's a safeguarding issue and I think if that be true I don't know once again I don't know these people I don't I just saw a few seconds of a clip and there was some comments and people were saying things like this if that be the case then that is a concern a legitimate concern putting that aside the safeguarding issue if somebody wanted to convert to
Christianity you personally it doesn't make sense to me but I mean if they want to fine I mean I don't see it's there's nothing to be kind of up in arms about like oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god we're losing a number we trust me we're losing many numbers the way people at Muslims are going but I don't see this as a as a cause for some kind of panic or some kind of people spreading this like it's Oh Mike we need to amass the armies you know this relax yourselves people
if they if somebody wants to leave Islam it's their choice okay obviously I believe personally that Islam does have it does have the the answers that to any kind of criticisms it does have the strength and the fortitude to withstand any critical attacks upon it I do believe that but obviously my answers may differ to how other people answer things so the way other people will answer
things I'm sure by that standard I won't be Muslim either but I mean that way in my understanding of things Islam is a religion of compassion of mercy it is a beautiful I do believe it's a wonderful and beautiful theme I do accept that some people have distorted it and mutated it but for people who have genuine kind of concerns if they want to reach out and ask questions they're more than welcome to do so if they're genuine I don't say to people who are who say I'm gonna leave Islam that no don't
leave Islam don't do this don't I don't say that personally I just say to them look because at the end of the day these things are up to nobody you know this isn't a kind of conversion game or this I just say if people say to me look I've got questions about Islam I'm a bit confused I don't want silent you know might have Mbeki or more than welcome to come to kind of have a chat I will speak to you I mean maybe I can answer some of your questions maybe I can give you some peace of mind on certain troubling things that are troubling you but and then it's your choice this is this faith this Deen it's it's a journey a journey
of man and of humans to God it's not something which you know we can force other people to be upon if some people don't want to take that journey they don't need I mean that that's not you know it's not for anybody else to say that to them that you have to and because that wouldn't be acceptable anyway la kuraha 15 as the Quran clearly states so I would say look my response is no need to freak out if you know if that's hit that person's choice that's his choice it's it's not really something and I don't really
Christianity I don't understand Christianity doesn't really have any of those appeal factors to it from this is from my perspective but I can't see how atheism in general is a great threat most people who leave Islam usually do so because of more all factors then being usually one that they have been mistreated by Muslims this usually is is a crucial factor that there's an emotional element involved that they have been mistreated usually it's not that they've been mistreated
just by Muslims as people who happen to be Muslim so for example here is a Pakistani man he is Muslim also or here is a I don't know an Egyptian man or a Somali man they happen to be Muslim I don't mean like that I mean that they are usually mistreated by Muslims who justified that treatment with religious terms even if they were not religious so for example a parent may have abused his children and then said that look God tells you that you must listen to me
even though he may not be a religious person he may not pray but him using that line has then right sorry sister I realized the comments had frozen and I have to move it whoa there's so many Wow all right now we're at the bomb so so now if all this could be for example it could be other people it could be it could be a man it could be a woman I mean women could misuse religion equally
like they could be mothers it could be fathers could be teachers they could be just people that they knew it could be the local coffee shop in the mosque when he says a child put its baptism times so the way the priests have been abusing and and curry subs have unfortunately haven't you know that they've not stayed behind either the curry subs have been like a charm the priests think they can win on this game so the the curry shops have been kind of really they've been killing the whole
abuse game as well so it could be people like that so that's one key thing about abuse so there is some kind of abuse by Muslims with some religious overtone that's one issue the other issue is that usually X Muslims or people who leave Islam they see hypocrisy so they see cutting release upset khari sobs do it from behind what's that Harding release up that Carrie sobs lead from behind what did
Obama say in the intervention he goes we're gonna lead from behind a cha-cha-cha that's what we call it so right so the thing is that so they see hypocrisy these X Muslims they see all people who doubt Islam they see hypocrisy especially from the clergy so from the movies they see that the movies are all full of kind of of nonsense they're all full of BS they rule you know just hypocrites and they all they see this I say I'm using the term all it's not true but thought from their perspective so
the ones they encounter they see this and then there's the rational side as well that they some people that they want to ask questions about religion and they told to shut up each time shut up they told that this you're not allowed to ask questions and so you must just obey and and these so these three this kind of Trinity it it is a it is it is like a trinity of of Terror really for for Muslims without and and they end up abandoning the faith
aidan hash says musty are these talks more of letting your hair down and you're having a laugh well welcome to Monday nights with Mufti what is the main aim of life according to Islam Quran mother knish Kaneesha surname knish the bob the beta and the raw so the sorry I'm just trying
to read these questions at the same time and when I read one the other one just kind of I forget them it's like I'm supposed to be answering someone Muftis opinion on how Muslims should react when the Holy Prophet is disrespected you see I think that we should just be secure and confident I don't think we need to be up in arms if if non-muslims are going to disrespect the Prophet obviously what you know we're not as Muslims we're not gonna like that or be happy about it but we don't need to react in a violent way we don't need to
kind of just let them be you know if if somebody you know the as the Quran says that when they go past the jaha Lina follow Salama but they just said peace you know this I suppose Jerry Hill people will do J he'll talk you know they if people want to abuse or insult the Prophet I mean that's they're doing it to provoke a reaction so we should be above that we should be more intelligent than that taxi driver loses
I don't know about that right there was a Medina father reborn Annika I've spoken about that narration it comes through I Kurama I have critiqued and how many people rejected Ekrem I've got a detailed video clip on that on YouTube on apostasy and there is nothing in the Quran or authentic so now that shows there are any apostasy laws that these are laws that have been introduced by scholars I understand why they did it because in a day and age the whole world did this so they just followed suit but
there's nothing from the Quran oh so now somebody is asking read my question alright well what is your question and I will be by the way going through an overview of a dialogue that I watched I'll do that a little later on of of Daniel haqeeqat Jew and imam tohe D and all mean Navabi or never be now I'll go over that later later on can you explain
the miracles of Jesus I'm not sure what you mean by that can I explain the miracles of Jesus but I have explained I've got a detailed video speaking about how we should read the miracles in the Quran and and in Islam when you said Allah loves the cheese and onion or salt and vinegar salt and vinegar definitely Maajid Nawaz and Sam hurry Sam Smith Sam Smith I think you mean Sam Harris
partnership your thoughts you see I am NOT right Majid Nawaz now this there's a few things that come to my mind when I think about my I didn't was I think he's unnecessary kind of provocations he's very provocative he comes across to as though he's pleasing Islamophobes which I don't understand why he would do that but he does so there's there's those elements which
kind of bother me about what he does his language on certain things these issues that he raises for example he'll say things like we need to condemn verses of the Quran he'll say that to Muslims and obviously you can imagine the the kind of reaction that's going to bring in the hearts and minds of Muslims and I don't know why he he's saying that apart from to maybe elicit that reaction because he's a very intelligent person he's not stupid by
any means and so there's these aspects that said not everything that he says has to be nonsense I mean imagine was he's like I said he's definitely gifted and talented and he says many he highlights many serious concerns that that are legitimate concerns but then he's because he's drowned in these overtones of sometimes just what appears to be attacking Muslims now people may say well you know Mufti you kind of do the same thing in some ways you are very
critical of certain Muslim practices and cultures and things like this and that is true and hence just being critical or that critical aspect of Maajid Nawaz I don't think that's anything bad I don't think anybody let alone whether it's Majid Nawaz somebody had mentioned some hurry so whether it's Muslims or non-muslims I think we should have a critical mindset and I think some things that he does pick up on are very they need to be picked up on and so this where this should be credit they should be credit I think however I don't see the need to
really be that kind of draconian almost towards Muslims in in highlight almost making out that all Muslims even like common Muslims are some kind of extremists or or that common Muslims or to all condemned verses in the Quran like you said about certain verses in the Quran and I look I agree that those verses in the Quran are not applicable that they are abrogated like the hitting verse I have got a whole video dedicated to this I agree with his conclusion that to hit
for somebody to hit their wife would be Haram I agree with that and that's not me coming up with that that's from the time of the seller are probably a 5 nevere abbas said it was haram now the point is that i agree with these conclusions but the way and the route that is taken to to kind of arrive at that in saying well now that we disagree with this let's all come you know as a community condemn this verse of the quran but that's what is so we talking because that's an abrogated verse it does not exist in terms of it's only
there as historicity and I've got a detailed video explaining that but just use words like let's condemn this verse of the Quran or these kind of verses really shouldn't be in the Quran like this is gonna evoke hatred from the Muslims and so I obviously condemn this approach of marginal was he as far as my criticism is concerned generally were I critique things you'll notice that I am whenever I'm critiquing things I am presenting the counter understanding from traditional Islam like even now
when I said look that this is Haram to hit that was the fatty of Makkah from the seller from the greatest of the terrain one of the the inheritors of hypnotist or the law on our part no beaba who decreed it Haram for any person to hit his wife now you have to understand that that is our tradition I'm not saying less boycott the tradition I'm saying that we need to filter through certain understandings and arrive at a more pristine understanding that was really in with the true compassionate message of this theme so I disagree with majnu's strongly on those things but at the same
time I think we as Muslims have created this monster or image of people like Majid namazi really I think that that Muslims scholars because as far back as I remember people like Majid namazi I think a decade ago were keen on networking with Muslim scholars but the Muslim scholars would refuse to hold dialogues with him they would shun him they would keep these people like oh boycott you know this kind of blackmailing boycott culture that nobody can talk to him if anybody talks to him
then you know we boycott them as well you know coffee caffeine John Armani boobie coffee you know he's a kaffir and whoever doesn't say so is a kaffir as well this kind of culture results in that kind of a horrific result then you see because all you do is you push these people further and further away and then you kind of you draw up this kind of caricature of them being the devil incarnate so I would say that that that's also a wrong I I don't think that these people are the devil incarnate I
don't think you know I do condemn these kind of approaches that are saying that we should reject versus throw verses out of the Quran we should condemn verses you know saying these kind of things I think from an Islamic perspective and to Muslims is is wrong and I criticize and condemn that approach in turn but but I don't believe these people are the devil okay we need to stop this that's that's my thought I don't think we should have as Muslims a blackmailing boycott culture we're adults if somebody you know we should always engage in dialogue like if
I disagree with you you should have enough we should have such an understanding that you could just pick up the phone and just talk to me and just say oh I could do this with somebody else could do this with somebody why are we so it's so childish I feel that so that that's my thought Sam Harris my thoughts on him are that I feel he he's once again an incredibly gifted individual I you know some arguments and some his kind of way of thinking on certain
matters I I'm absolutely you know I love the way he thinks on certain matters I you know he has a he has a way with words honestly a genius of a man unfortunately in the last two three years I've become disappointed that he has become very kind of almost burnt out against Muslims and Islam and I don't I don't think he was like that in the days of Hitchens and those people he was he was anti Islam and Muslims but he wasn't kind of I didn't feel he was burnt out as in or so bitter but recently he feels
like that but that's that's mine I don't know that's my feeling answer please I just joined what was the answer moto moto moto moto oh whoa well yeah well you know my answer on what AHA it's I don't believe it's Haram now so can't remember what's the one of the questions most eSAB can you speak on the recent controversy surrounding motherís abuse right so there's been some articles going around I've got used to
read them with you know kind of with due diligence and kind of take deliberate over the the facts and read over them but there's been some that have been that have gone viral online about motherís abuse and how people were abused I don't in those particular articles I don't think I mean I could be wrong once again I don't read them with the kind of detail I should have read them with and I will when I get a moment but my understanding is that they were about abuse as in beating up abuse and not sexual abuse but just in case I'm sure
there are many cases of sexual abuse as well that said I I acknowledge that they must be must be given the the maulvi subculture dari sahabat the curry subculture right so that's something but the abuse that goes on this particular article about Darla loom burry now Darla memory is one of the oldest mattresses we have in the UK a good few decades old now and I believe it's under the still is under the supervision of this senior mallanna
use of Mottola so now it's a dip in the Institute it is reasonably organized as far as Institute's go not that that means it's as organized as kind of the secular Institute's but it's as far as mattresses are concerned now it doesn't surprise me in all honesty that there's abuse going on there that people are being beaten up or things like this or especially more so in the past it doesn't surprise me at all okay these mothers they cover up so much abuse and they do beat the hell out of
students they dumb the students down they kind of really rubbed the students of the Spirit really so they just left us these kind of empty shells that they can just turn into clones of themselves I feel you know these things are a tragedy that's that's my feeling on the whole motherís of thing I think in all honesty these mattresses are unfortunately they've become a waste of time they don't produce anything of
caliber every year in the UK we must have at least if I'm at least easily 500 scholars being churned out every year at least if not maybe 800 just considering that one class is what I don't know like if we're gonna say 3040 people maybe in some classes and some mother says even 2030 people probably and there are so many mattresses you understand and they're all churning out a class every year the truth is that out of all of these
hundreds of scholars you will struggle to find even one scholar who can actually be a true scholar with some caliber just because that they are robbed of all creativity they are intimidated frightened they are terrorized these people are beaten up they are you know battered if they question anything they are forced to just become clones of the teachers and then what happens is it reaches a point
where you know what what good that all they they will just regurgitate the same old stuff that their teachers said and what good is that what solutions can that provide to to the society what can it provide it can't provide anything there teaches in all honesty look I respect some of these teachers out of seniority as I would respect any person of senior age except I would I also respect the fact that they've committed a huge aspect of their lives to this theme and I've respected that even though I strongly disagree with their
interpretation of the Dean but I respect the fact that they've had love and commitment for this faith and they've you know spent decades of their life studying and teaching it but in the but the flip side to that coin is that they've mutated this Dean into a monstrous rendition that they have then force-fed into these young people and they've kind of they've infected them with their own virus for these people to go out into society and infect other
people so I am really you know in that sense I'm disappointed and I do feel that these mud races are not producing anything I mean it's there are some addresses that are good and you know I'm sure I'm sure there are some sure all mother says I've got their faults just as secular Institute's have gotten their faults I'm not trying to say there's any Institute that is perfect but it's not even about perfect these mothers are soaked below this Sol Sol below they're not perfect it we're not aiming for perfect we're just about trying to aim
for okay not even okay and if you're gonna spend eight years of your life to become what just some kind of dimwit that is supposed to robotic ly an automaton that's supposed to regurgitate rulings that were uttered in the 1920s in a day in age which is approaching 2020 almost so I mean you're so out of sync with the real world so yeah so I think you know in all honesty if one
could be real harsh I would say that yeah these mother says I either need to be really revamped in totality or they really need to consider that are they even worth keeping them open because maybe they just need to shut them down then because all they need to come up with a new strategy because what they're doing is is just not right in the name of religion somebody said Mufti it's my first time joining and I didn't get a single answer
hi hi hi what is it cumbia funny he you he but nom whole game us in Hazara Johnny Violetta kiss-kiss say Oh that I'm not I'm not unroyal of my sin I just got this bad reputation it's that I had thousands and thousands of lovers who could I stay loyal to you it's not a question of my
loyalty it's a question of my capacity right so white let's take a look at some of these why did some Muslim scholars like I work Arab nor are we claim that the peaceful verses of the Koran were abrogated what peaceful verses of the Quran are we talking about spare the rod spoil the child amen Cara bark aah bark from a Bulava perspective the verse when the matter
will be concluded they are in a state of heedlessness they do not believe surah Maryam verse 39 talked tend to denote it's gonna happen in the future yes I mean some verses in the Quran they use a past tense even though they speaking about the future like so for example if taro Bautista one shall come on but you know that the hour has drawn near and the moon has been kind of cleft asunder
and the these kind of verses why does you know what why does Allah use that style in the Quran well that that's the nature of language that sometimes when you're saying something as though it has happened once again from two perspectives from one perspective or from God's perspective there is no time so to god it's as though we as half so that's one perspective the other thing is that when you address something
as though it has happened so what it does is it has a much more profound effect like imagine somebody was to speak to you about your life and they were to say that look you really need to achieve something in life before it's too late before you die now one way of saying that is like saying look you know you really need to do something before you die because you know when that day comes you're gonna think back you're gonna be like this that's one way now imagine I presented it like this like I
said look and here you are lying there you're on your deathbed and that final hour that final moment has already arrived you have looked back on your life and you see much regret you see like these words were are much more powerful in evoking the kind of response the kind of in awaking awakening those kind of emotions that you want so this is really all this is a literary kind of
device I mean people human beings use this all the time so it's not in any way some kind of contradiction people understand like when when I said that it's not that useful but I but I'm not dead you understood exactly what I was saying so yeah so that's Ibrahim Amir is in the house people our young to be Mufti inshallah from Leicester you doing it you doing it all right what else people let's take some rapid round Q&A we've got it all right these were some books this was the book I was speaking about this really awesome
book people the bonobo and the atheist [Laughter] it seems a bit upset that were no borders right so this is my Fran's de Waal an amazing amazing I'm going through the audiobook of it right now really fascinating to really open my eyes to this whole world of bonobos I'm so fascinated honestly now by bonobos because I just I think like you see it's amazing to see that certain
primates in nature have this kind of they have a base nature of kindness of compassion of of by by default they're not actually violent like chimpanzees or gorillas or other things they are actually quite relatively peaceful by by default and caring and it's amazing that Wow that that seriously and this was another book that I arrived inside animal hearts and minds right so Belinda
Recio and it was it was really interesting I was going through some of these he speaks about like how certain recent anthropological and also just psychological studies that have been kind of that are brought in research on animals as well how they how they interact how they shock empathy how they show these kind of things so there's sections on you know Hart and reciprocity and altruism and all these kind of things French shaped for whatever however we want to see but there was an interesting thing in here
that Rocio she she quotes somebody Henry Beston who expresses when speaking about animals so she says he has Henry Beston so beautifully expressed in his immortal characterization of animals as other nations and I think that's so amazing because in the quran as well allah when addressing other animals says that they are Oman and sulukim but they are just other nations in many ways like you
that's a verse of the Quran Oman and theru comb that these animals you see that Allah say is the way you see the birds in the sky you you see these or the creatures they are just Oman anther Lucan they are just other nations in many ways similar to you and I find that very profound I was reading through I thought wow that's a an interesting amazing kind of point right so somebody said but we can't have a damn dog of course you can I've said that you can according to Maliki filk no animals are
impure including pigs they're not impure they Haram to eat but they not in pure life necessitates purity so going to the school of Medina the city of Medina and as taught by Imam Malik who was from the selleth from the students of the students of the Prophet now you see the principal is al here to talkto be at the Hara that life necessitates purity so dogs can be kept you can't keep dogs you can that this you know this liver is not impure the swear to whatever is not impure although most Muslims by culture
generally don't keep dogs but that's and in someone in the other methods they consider them impure but it's not so in the Maliki method and you can keep dogs if you want okay most Assad sounds like a Sufi oh do I I don't know I mean hmm yeah must or as Halep said yeah Maasai let the saw off yet terrible on Holly to jae-hyung Felice a much stage on a bada
her mother har is an alcoholic he says that these issues of the some of Holly and the way you express the I would have certainly understood you to be a woolly of God if it were not for the point that you're an alcoholic yeah Messiah let the Soviet era by an Holly 2j humbly so much the Jonah Badajoz do the Satanic Verses have any basis the Satanic Verses right should we get on to this let's let's let's share
our thoughts on this whole dialogue right so I was sent a link by some people by about a talk called something like Islam unboxed and it was a talk by I'm sorry a dialogue by like a table dialogue by Daniel haqeeqat Jew I don't know if you guys are familiar with him he's a I don't think he's a professor he's a Harvard graduate and he's from America I'm not sure where he resides in America but he writes on Facebook and things like this
he's kind of he's an academic I mean I don't know about professional academia is like an academic so he writes academically on topics and things like this he's very Salafi that kind of Wahhabi Salafi oriented although he's face value he doesn't like I mean if you look at him he doesn't necessarily look in that sense he looks he doesn't like where the Saudi attire or anything like this I don't know what his ethnicity is happy cat Jew I don't know what that means so I think some way I read he was Iranian or some I don't I don't know I I thought he was a convert to Islam I'm pretty
sure he is a convert to Islam but I could be wrong so him having a dialogue with Imam tahini who's a radical not radical as in an extremist radical but uh kind of like a wacko Shia Imam from Australia who's become very popular in the recent years he's given interviews everywhere and he's usually very critical of Muslim practices and Islam highly critical and critical of Shia Islam as well and definitely suddenly
Islam and is highly critical very controversial once again somebody who he can be quite provocative not just can be is is let's be real he is provocative when it comes to the Companions of the Prophet the wives of the Prophet can be quite derogatory when speaking about Omar or the allahu on or I shadowed along on how he can kind of he can kind of he disrespects them maybe I don't know how now he probably holds it back a bit more but in I think in his
older videos he's very open saying things so so you've got these two which almost kind of a extreme ends and then the dialogue was hosted by an ex-muslim I believe in Iranian X Muslim but once again I don't know too much about him I have seen him randomly on some X Muslim kind of clips in the past his name is Ameen Navabi right so right so these were the three people having this dialogue and it was about modernity right so somebody sent this to me and I
thought well what the hell let's check it out huh honestly water dialog are a useless waste I should just carried on watching Netflix binge watching these TV series God these TV series are too good too good man people but anyway I get dissed I digress people I digress so here I am in this watching this thing and it's about modernity and they go off on one and Daniel haqiqa through I gotta say I
thought Daniel how Pikachu was more clued up about Islam than he appears to be so I think I was giving him much more credit then after watching this dialogue of his and this was just part one so I watched that that's all they was so I couldn't find any other parts to it now it begins with modernity him saying that he basically how he's very anti modernity he doesn't like modernity at all and by I don't like modernity that means equates to Islam does not like
modernity so that was his whole what he posited right his premise amount oh he was on this flex of saying well he would say well modernity is ok but I have issues with some of it ok Daniel haqiqat jus said look modernity and then he went on to highlight problems with modernity he said I don't have a problem with technology so ok so it's good he cleared that and then he went on to say look this capitalism and
it's all about greed and it's all about these and there was some he spoke about some kind of scandal that took place in New York that was highlighted in the press about Trump the Trump administration getting some country to try to sell a particular formula milk to mothers I don't know which country it was and they were doing this just because they had a vested interest in that formula milk but they were getting them to try to they were trying to get the product pushed by the health professionals of that region wherever they were selling it just so they could make money and this had been kind of
somebody had whistle blown the whole thing and there was a huge scandal and he was like aha which I totally didn't get their hobby because right because I want to just pause this discussion right there and just ask what has this I don't understand how this Islam is being locked into this discussion here because look Islam is for all times and places what does anybody mean by saying that you know Islam is against modernity like what does that mean because we have to understand what you mean by modernity
if you mean corruption like because this was the examples he gave for examples of corruption and greed and he gave one to other examples like that but these have existed before as well so corruption you telling me corruption didn't exist in the past of course it did right so you telling me greed did not exist of course it did was Islam against greed yes was it Salameh against corruption yes but how does that make it modernity that's what I'm asking like what what's new that you're bringing I understand that that that makes it exclusively something which Islam is
against now if you say swamis against capitalism right ok now first of all I don't believe necessarily Salam is against capitalism I don't believe it it's necessarily for or against it just leaves human beings to these things when the Prophet was asked and the hadith isn't bihari when the Prophet was asked about will he regulate the marketplace for prices the Prophet said laughs he said that Oh whom let the traders be years of Allah about the home Babel then let Allah feed some through others like it's not this is not the place of
religion to get involved in monitoring trade like we're not some kind of like trade imposition is this is not what faith is about faith is about your connection with God it's not about the marketplace like this it's not about becoming some kind of regulatory board and controlling thing this so this is a sigh ADIZ I mean I'm not making this up so the point is that I don't believe Islam is anti-capitalist but I don't believe it's necessarily capitalist I it's just indifferent like if human beings want to do that fine if they want to do this fine it doesn't make a it's
not really too far yes in the asked society's May weren't really so capitalist but that's because capitalism has really boomed with abundance and which has boomed due to the the whole Industrial Revolution and the post-industrial revolution with the more availability of money because money has been demineralized it's been turned into paper then digitalized it's the the whether we whether we like the modern world or not but human beings today che more prosperity by and large I don't
mean some individuals I mean by and large they have more prosperity than human beings have ever had throughout human history we share today human beings men women adults children the elderly the sick the disabled whatever sexually oriented the people of any faith the environment the animals plants trees everything around us today that we can really point to in that sense
collectively speaking has more rights today than ever throughout human history ever and that's a fact so you would never yes you may have had one person or a few people that gave rights to certain things in the past or respecting the rights of but as societies this has never existed on this scale in the past now that's not to say that modernity is some kind of perfect thing know that we are living in a utopia we're not war does exist corruption does exist but we are enjoying believing or not globally
speaking such standards of global relative peace that is unprecedented throughout human history so you know so I want to understand what is it that you you hate so much like yes I get the fact you hate corruption I get the fact you hate I get the fact that and he was saying look and Daniel had Pikachu picked up on this thing of the modernity is the Defragmenter the yeah the defragment ization from getting that correct but
it's it's fragmenting the family it's D structural izing the family as in it's breaking up families now right okay modernity or the modern world in which we live does not say by teachings that you should not have families it is not by default anti family it's not like that but what it does is it promotes freedoms now using those freedoms many people may not wish to be part of a family or they may wish to
live let's say whatever lifestyle they may want to be so for example they may be homosexual they may not or they may not choose to have children or they may not choose to live with their parents and things like this now these are choices that people are making now we can critique sure we can critique sir to certain aspects but in all honesty tell me what super family model was there in the past what model is it that you're speaking of the medieval ages people read our fifth books by and large many people were always I mean there were people who are just farmers so they
stayed put but they stayed put because that's the opportunities that life gave them there many people would travel they would travel either due to warfare or they will travel due to trade now most of these people like you just read our fake books when they went some way they just married people because and they used to marry them with the intention of divorcing Islamically they used to have children and just leave them and go is that something new do you think that uh our history doesn't have that of course we have that human history has that Muslim history is no exception just read
Muslim history they will speak in the fake books most people they all had polygamous marriages I mean they they had polygamous marriages no I don't have a motto it was common and these polygamous marriages were not necessarily even if they wanted to they could not support them so somebody would travel now I'm on this journey let's say I stopped off in this city and then I see this family and then I say look why don't I just get married and obviously in the especially in the Arab culture marriage was not so much of a difficult thing in the past ironically it's become a very difficult thing today
it's really weird because today it's it's ironic that in this day and age what the society has become much more sexualized hyper-sexualized but sex has become more it's it's shockingly I mean I say this because he may come as a shock to people that sex generally speaking in the past was much more accessible to people like it was much more of a casual thing especially if you went like a thousand years ago it was never deemed the way today sex is an
entirely separate thing then it was just very casually it's just like you know it's just something creatures do creatures do humans do it's not like they didn't see and it was it didn't have this kind of this whole sanctimony and this whole kind of taboo culture around it so people they would just stop off and they would just get like let's take a look at for example even number puta the great maliki legend our muslim who puts casts on over to shame he was a true Maliki right so he sets off from Morocco his hometown I believe was close
to Tonga right Tangiers and he's he's I mean he's like a historian but he's somebody who just travels and he writes a journal and he writes about his whole travels and he travels a huge part of the world and he goes right through and initially I think he set off for Hajj and then he decides to continue on his journey and what he does is everywhere he stops he has a trend he gets my read so he says well since I'm staying in this city since I'm gonna taste the food why not hey why stop there you know why not just
spoil myself a little and I know mmm and so he would take a wife wherever he wherever he went and and obviously and he speaks about the the cultures he speaks about the women very interesting he actually compares some some feminists might get really offended at this obvious this is in the past but he compares that what what are some of the great qualities of women that he's seen worldwide because he went from Morocco right through North Africa right through Egypt you've got Saudi you know modern-day Saudi Arabia you've got the Middle East and he went to India then he went to China he went and this he's
traveling that's what he's doing and yeah so he speaks about certain women that really had this what he felt his top list and he said we some women he said he said they are they they on top of the list but only for the bedroom that's what he actually said believe it or not so he said and that's what he said about berber women right so you know what are in northwest africa today so like places like Morocco maybe parts
of Algeria Algeria stuff like this he said those women he said sexually speaking they were the best in the world that's that's what he said but then it's interesting he said like Roman women were really good at he said like he was so odd by the servitude and stuff like but it's interesting his whole thing and but my point of saying this is that you see wherever he went he got married and he wasn't supporting these women afterwards I'm sure many of them must have had children from him they must have like because I mean even if it's hit and miss I mean the chances
and he speaks about by the way was it that I think the Maldives so when he goes to visit the Maldives he goes to the Maldives and was it more Isha's ha ha God uh but he goes to one of these exact made these kind of exotic islands and he says that the custom there is all women to just walk around topless he said this is the custom everybody does this so he says that so he marries I think he has about three wives on that island so he says my wives were the only women that I would tell them no wear
something so his his diary is I think it's translated I've got his book here somewhere relative nobuta he's travels his journey well and he was a judge he was a judge in India he goes to India in the time of the I think is it the is it the top looks he is from before the Mughals so I think it's the top look time and he takes up a position as a judge because obviously he's a
Maliki Don it's like so he takes over and then he travels to China and when he's in China he speaks about wow that look that they've got this paper currency which nobody in the world had at that point and he says that this is and he speaks about this really strange these Chinese people they he goes I tried to give them gold and they wouldn't accept it they said no you gotta trade it for this paper and he's like have these guys lost it so anyway that's a proper thought abut my point of saying this is do we really think in the past people didn't have fragmented
families they did I mean one may say you know it was due to circumstances but it was the case as well I mean there's never been a perfect utopian state I do agree that it is a shame that in the modern world people are not taught certain aspects of respect I do agree on that fact that things like people don't respect the elderly as much and I agree think that these kind of values and I think that's something as Muslims we can contribute and we can emphasize to you know in in because remember the modern
world modernity is not controlled by any particular person we can all contribute we're all part of this day and age but I do feel that the way all people are shunned is is a tragedy of the day in a each and they kind of really not given any care or consideration and it's a bit cold-hearted but but my point anyway coming back to this dialogue so there was this thing that went back and forth then the dialogue really got religious and oh my god I was I was I was dumbfounded just listening to the thing
because though he went off on one about oh how Isis is really just Khalid bin Walid out of the Allahu iron and Omar ignore her table it's a continuation of them which I thought for God's sake I mean you know like what an stupid nonsensical statement that look Isis are them once again you know just I suppose you can expect that from to--he these very provocative very kind of so he went off on that and then Daniel was trying
to kind of counter some of that and then he came on to this discussion about the Quran and I totally did not understand what the hell does happened there because though he he said to Daniel do you believe that the first of all he said about the Prophet he said do you believe the Prophet is infallible and Daniel said yes and he said no well Sunni scholars don't believe that and Daniel said no no you're wrong and he said no no I'm right that they don't believe that and though he be was kind of writing some of the things he was saying although I think he never had the
the correct information at hand but he was actually closer to some truths than maybe he could express so so there are like Sunni scholars have the discussion that can prophets commit minor sins although though he didn't touch up on this because Daniel asked him how he could Jew asks him that worry what are you choking me an example give me an example but he failed to give him an example but there is this discussion that our prophets exempt from - sins so surprisingly many Sunni scholars say no although our the ER the great Maliki
legend from Muslim Spain he writes in the Shiva that we do believe in the infallible 'ti of prophets in all matters including all kinds of sins that they don't have any kinds of sins now that is something that generally I will I go along with and so so there was that point although though he D himself I don't think I don't know whether he was familiar with that but he failed to give that answer when he uh when he was asked prompted by haqiqa through that look give me an example and he couldn't really do that this he said oh so the Prophet was bewitched and had a magic
spell on him and Daniel could you said yeah yeah but that was like only in one incident and he's and though he D said to him you believe that that the Prophet accepted and there was another thing by the way that though he D kept referring to the prophet muhammad salallahu alaihe salam as just muhammad he said like you think muhammad just did this you know Mohammed just did that and in all honesty I did kind of feel that it was a bit disrespectful the way he was just constantly saying like Mohammed what did Muhammad even achieve in his life and what did he I just felt that you know as
Muslims we ought to show respect to the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam I mean there's no I believe that saying his name is good we shouldn't have a culture we we're not allowed to say the prophets name but we should say things like you know the Prophet Muhammad or you know the noble prophet or the Messenger of Allah you know says some and sallalahu I leave Salaam if we can I understand sometimes you don't even if you don't say so Lolo I lose a limb sometimes that's you're not fine you might be speaking and you don't say these things we shouldn't hold people ransom to that but and we shouldn't hijack the whole thing but at
the same time they should use the profits name in respect as Muslims as Muslims that's what I'm saying so Soto he the that kind of it was it kind of got on my nerves a bit that that attitude of his way he said some Muslims might say why am I not saying Sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam he said because you know this isn't a Muslim show so I don't need to say all right it's not me to say I understand but you can still call him the Prophet Muhammad The Messenger of God you can say these things you know you don't need to you know just say you know Muhammad what did Muhammad even
it's a bit I just felt you know like I could understand it was a non-muslim but I mean as a Muslim and as somebody who's claiming to be an imam you should really you know you should show the respect do you so there was this thing then the discussion went on to toe he D said that oh you believe that the Prophet said The Satanic Verses now somebody asked why are we talking about this this is my analysis on the dialogue that that took place so he said do you believe in the Satanic Verses now Daniel haqiqat you kind of shocked
me here in some ways by saying yes we do believe in the Satanic Verses which in some ways comes as no surprise because evil taymiyah accepts the bloody Satanic Verses even how are accepted the Satanic Verses the Satanic Verses for those of you [Music] right so for those of you that don't know my sin Allison and Adam Sam for those of you don't know what the Satanic Verses are the Satanic Verses are allegedly referring to an incident that the Prophet allegedly allegedly praised
like he read some false verses of the Quran praising the false idols to kind of suck up to the non-believers of Makkah so that's what the Satanic Verses are that they believe and that the Prophet allegedly because there was an incident let me give you the context there was an alleged incident in which all the Kafar of Courage the non-muslims of Quraysh went fell into such their walls the Prophet was reading the Quran he was reading surah Najam now even those who passionately hated Islam they did such that as well
so the question was why did they go into such that when they used to hate the Prophet and to say because they heard the Quran and stuff doesn't really make too much sense because they would hear the Quran anyway and they used to hate the Prophet and hate what he preached so they said well the reason we did sujood or such that was because he praised our gods well in the quran and now now the thing is that so they said this is the claim that when the Prophet was reading surah Najam and in surah Najam where you've
got I was going to go right right so in surah I was alright so let me see right so momentum momentum all right so so this is the the kind of allegations that the Prophet was reading surah 2 nijem which is a McKee surah and which begins
one let me either Hawaa that the you know the star as it kind of set so as it dips and it goes on and it begins you know marble Asahikawa hawa that your companion is not misguided now the verse reads on now it comes to a point where allah speaks mentions the false gods allah says i thought i a time a lot of Allah do you see latwon lat is a God from the ancient there was a famous trio right there are many gods the ancient Arabs had but there was a famous trio that was lat
was there a man at these three are like the famous gods of old by three popular gods like I seen so you get in Hinduism they've got countless allegedly millions of gods but you're gonna get some that are really popular that they always show and stuff like this and so so Allah says after item a lot of a loser that do you not see that when Arzo one man Arthur little okra and manat the third of the kind that alikom was like a like a massacre wala who'll answer that do you keep for yourself males and give unto
God females because these gods they were saying were like the daughters of God but they themselves when they had daughters they used to get annoyed like they had this culture when they hated having daughters which is a shocking jahaly culture by the way are on a side note I want to say I heard the other day somebody mentioned now that's now in 2018 somebody was having a conversation and they and these were women and somebody said well oh oh you had a child what did you have and and she said well and somebody said what did you have a daughter and she said god forbid who
wants a daughter and she said of course I had a son now I was just shocked to even hear about this conversation somebody was relaying this conversation to me and it's shocking I mean although some of those women were from abroad so they carry that kind of mentality but what's shocking is that in this day and age this kind of mentality and that too coming from women about women about girls I mean they are girls I mean what why would they not seriously shocking and I think girls are absolutely awesome
seriously like I think the other I was having a chat about my own daughters and I was just saying that it's you know like I think I don't know what it is but this this a certain kind of bond that a person especially I think a father has with daughters that is incredibly unique I think and there's just a cuteness about them that I don't think would be the same in boys I think like voice it would be different but I think that girls will just always have that cuteness about them but yeah so the ancient Arabs what they would do is they
themselves hated having daughters but they would give to God daughters soul as well as a woman at these are feminine kind of gods so Allah says that after I eat among lateral rosamma na'toth a little oh ha I like him with lacquer well I will answer that do you have males but yet you give God females Tilka Eden Christmas on visa in here Allah asthma on sometta muha Anton wha ABBA Oh commands allah llahu become insulting iniative a una in lava no matter whole emphasis wala Katja Hammurabi human Hoda
that they just follow can you know just nonsense that but now guidance has come to them so this is the verse of the Quran now they claimed in the Satanic Verses that when the prophet said a Ferrari to Molotov a loser woman at earth a little okra do you see these three gods he then read some other verses after that which said till kilvara nikola that those you know help like those elevated transcendent bodies those great entities till
kalarani kilala what inertia for our tahuna Latour taja that indeed the intercession will be sought on the day of judgment now these two are not verses of the Quran but they claim that the Prophet said that that is referred to as the Satanic Verses so why they call it the Satanic Verses is because some people said that yes the Prophet said that because so you've got a spectrum right of people that claim the Prophet said these you've got the
absolute idiot who said that yes the Prophet said that he that was the devil telling the profit but the profit thought it was God so he was reading it because he thought that God that God was telling him so he mistook the word of the devil for the word of God so that's at the utter end of stupidity you've got that those people then you've got some people that said now that the Prophet went silent he took a breath went silent and the devil impersonated his voice and read these verses in the prophets voice
and everybody thought that that the Prophet therefore they thought the Prophet said if this is the lower end of stupidity because look how the yard and many scholars in Islam the great legends and kada yard is a great scholar from Muslim Spain about nine hundred years ago he and Maliki Legend and master of hadith he writes that in his book Shiva that look all these things were made up there was no such thing as the Satanic Verses and no the Prophet did not mistake the words of the devil for the words of God that's stupid but
shockingly so many people who you think were intelligent like even at a mere even a Haj are they all accepted these Satanic Verses and then they said well they use the lower end of stupidity in saying well no maybe the Prophet went silent and oh maybe or they accepted even the upper and maybe the Prophet mister but Daniel haqiqa Jew in this dialogue accepts the upper end of stupidity in saying yes the Prophet mistook the words of Satan for the words of God but he only did it once
ah honestly I could not believe that serious I thought you know what honey swear I thought he was much more intelligent than that it's this guy for real I mean is it is he actually hearing what he's saying so what happened is the ex-muslim almond said to him well wait a minute wait a minute he said so how do you know that that the rest of the Quran isn't from the devil so he said well oh no that's because the Prophet later on told us that oh yeah when I took it from
the devil that was only that time but I've corrected it now so Armand said to him which was a rightly followed up argument that then wait a minute how do you know that the corrections weren't from the devil because surely if the devil's smart and he's trying to trick you then the correction might also be a trick right this was so stupid I couldn't believe that this what the hell are you on about that the Prophet took the devil's what mistook the devil's word for God's word are you buzzing are you high on something
what kind of like what are you on about and then it gets worse people though he says to him that do you know what I don't think Daniel have figured you had any idea so he D run rings around Daniel a German honestly this guy Daniel haqiqa Jew should not be speaking on behalf of Islam honestly I I actually thought he was much more knowledgeable than this but the guy his knowledge of Islam is astoundingly it's astoundingly basic so
basic so the next thing though he D says to him do you not believe that a goat or a sheep ate part of the Quran [Laughter] do you not believe that a goat or a sheep ate part of the Quran this is what though he D says to him and lo and behold Daniel not the prophet Daniel from the Israelites but this Daniel he comes he once again emerges with his same he says yeah but that was only one
incident I mean what are these one-off incidents I don't know we he goes here but that was only one incident the goat ate those verses of the Quran but that was a one-off but the Prophet mistook the words of the devil oh that was a one-off oh the goat ate that this was a one-er yeah yeah one of one okay I know the car
I saw in the shower incident what are these one-offs I don't understand what the hell you're getting this one-off incident though he did say so let me get this clear though he says do you accept I want you to say this do you accept that certain verses of the Quran right were eaten by a goat or a sheep and they eat then disappeared not that they were eaten and somebody wrote
them again but they then disappeared from the face of the earth as in they no longer in the Quran do you accept this and Daniel as the savior of the Israelites he said yes I accept this he said yeah but those verses were meant to be abrogated so I mean the ex Muslim says okay let's just get this right so you're saying that those verses were meant to be abrogated anyway so these verses allegedly these are not this was Nev this whole incident is BS people it is
nonsense but the alleged verses they're talking about things like stoning which does not exist in the Quran they claim this of this verse in the Quran about world war leader - you're there now Elena camelina that mothers should breastfeed their children should nurse their children for at least two years this is just a guidance verse like speaking about now they allegedly some people claimed that there was a verse saying and add on to it like this verse had an add on saying that you're there no lad I'm sorry the heart in that they must feed them five feedings
which sounds stupid that just sounds so stupid that's not going to be Quran I mean you know that that just sounds so dumb right because what's five nursing's got now five actual breastfeeding sessions like why five like why not six why fight so they're saying well anything below five doesn't have that impact anything why five but so apparently this was a verse of the Quran some people have claimed so it comes in some hadith once again needless to say the hadith are baseless and nonsensical
but so this is the incident though he D is presenting this that this was a verse in the Quran and this is a hadith which is once again some sunnis have accepted unfortunately but it's a nonsense hadith it's absolutely false that a goat came in and ate this page or this verse and therefore it disappeared so I mean asks him are you saying that this verse was abrogated and he said yes and he said and he said are you saying just to be clear that the way this became abrogated the method that God chose to make it disappear was that he
chose a goat or a sheep to come in and eat this so daniel says yes I'm thinking for God's sake is this guy for real like I don't know what has he been following on that photo of mine that about marijuana it's like is this guy high as a kite or what the hell is wrong with this guy what do you mean yes of course I got him eat the quran and of course those verses will never part of the Quran to start off with What nonsense
so he says yes he says but I just want to be clear that was a one-off incident and the Prophet mistaking the devil's words as God's words was a one-off incident I think Daniel hockey could you speaking on behalf of Islam should just be a one-off incident honestly oh my god I was so old when I was watching this I was like Shanti Shanti Shanti I need to calm myself
right so because I was like what on earth are you doing why are you saying these stupid things and why are you accepting them as Islam and and if you do not have the knowledge about Islam and this is my point that they may criticize me all they want you know whether it's about my appearance or whatever is but the truth is that at least I've studied Islam you understand at least I'm authorized at least I've actually done the learning read the texts done the tests and have the ijazat
and chains going back to the Prophet so if you are gonna speak on behalf of Islam honestly it was really disappointing to to watch that I did feel at that point I wished I was part of like I could just say right okay can we just that that's not true we do not accept that that is nonsense we as Muslims by the way you need to take ownership and we need to disown these kind of nonsensical statements no part of the Quran was eaten by a gulp people right that's a stupid stupid [Music]
right so that's obviously you know like this is portraying Muslims are some kind of dumb Neanderthals that's not how it was okay and neither did the Prophet ever mistake the words of the devil for the words of God that that is stupid okay so we don't obviously believe in stuff like that I needed to clarify that why a goat I don't know why I got by in the hadith that they support it says dhaba some kind of creature but generally most people feel that that hadith because he was speaking about kind of like domestic animals like he says an animal comes and eats eat so
they say that the usual animal that they were referring to was a goat or a sheep camels yes the camel came in an eighty and nobody even noticed the camel camel just casually walking into your house eating the Quran and then just walking off camels just casually sitting at the back with sunglasses on because well I'll just eat this whole surah whilst
nobody notices God right so this these people I thought I'd have to cover that I sure do hope that Daniel have figured you just watch at least I hope he gets this message and look Oh what I'd like to say is that these these aspects need to be corrected okay and if you are gonna speak on behalf of Islam you shouldn't really be speaking about these things that said it's not it's not
personal it's not personal personal nahi personal nice this is this is just because it had to be corrected it's about Islam and as always I'm more than happy to have a dialogue you know in if you if you want right so right okay let's do some few rapid round and then let's call it call it a night people let's call it a night ah what's going on what's going on just trying to bring up some people say I don't answer the questions they've
submitted on the right this you know this is article by the way eight-year-old boys eight-year-old pupils to be told boys can have periods too I think that's just a daily fail article I don't know what the hell they're talking about how the hell can boys have periods and I really do wish that they calm it down with this whole you know this is whole reaction to push sexuality on to children and I just feel that I mean there's two things I think on one
hand it's not that I'm so concerned like I don't think like I'm not some people are absolutely fretting oh my god oh my god my kids are gonna turn K my kids are gonna turn k and so I don't believe that that happens like that I think the natural order of things is so powerful the fitrah you know tilaka fit rasulillah t on nasa alia that is the fitra which allah is may mankind upon i think generally the attraction that the genders have for each other is so powerful it's not just because you're told people can be gay you become gay just because somebody tells you you know
you can as a man you can be with a man as the khari saw demonstrated that doesn't mean all of a sudden you're gonna be like oh really now I don't find women attractive said no and actually said most men never so this it doesn't work like that but so the UM you know it's not like a freakout mode but at the same time it is a bit it's disappointing that I don't I've read some news articles about and these kind of seen these little on whatsapp some people have sent me these pictures of some children books and they seem like very young children books and it's like some
Pakistani this is my ChaCha my touch eyes gay seriously that's what it's called my touch eyes getcha means my uncle in order and and Hindi so it's like you know my touch eyes gay and oh people like this but oh my ChaCha he has his choice and bla bla bla bla bla look I don't but I just feel that look kids should be kids you know these kind of things I think this is just an insecure reaction from people to kind of pushed it to try to normalize like I am against any kind of discrimination
against people for being homosexual I think we don't have any right to discriminate against people I don't think islam teaches any rights to discriminate against them I do feel that even Islam our history our history has been much more diverse than people would like to imagine when it comes to homosexuality I've got a whole clip and all on Islam and homosexuality a kind of diverse history and it shows that so many people is who actually believed homosexuality was permissible I did quote them in the past yeah him nag them and other people who gave used verse of the Koran to prove it and stuff like but
mainstream Muslim didn't accept that and I'm not saying that I'm not saying that you know I agree with you here Mack them all though I've highlighted that was his view and he was a great scholar of Islam but my point of saying this is that we shouldn't discriminate but at the same time we shouldn't I just feel that we shouldn't impose this stuff on children right so God few rapid round questions people let's wrap this up how do you feel about stunned halal meat you see you can have stunned allow me the stunning doesn't kill the animal it just stuns them you know I I I was trying to buy these prepped meals here protein
meals I did buy some and they're actually quite tasty it's interesting because it's like pure guru food it's like pure white people food right so I actually find it quite enjoyable because normally I'm not eating that so I find it like oh and it's it's all prepared and it's all you know you got all your vegetables and all everything and so so I ordered these kind of prep meal packs so highly enriched free protein for a quick meal whenever you need it and and I was looking through different companies and there's one company that gave an amazing offer and I was like wow the food looks so because you know something different
is always so intriguing so it's all you know cooked like this and I don't know Balin a or this or that normally as a as a package as a Pakistani as well some people might be offended with the two we don't normally eat that kind of food so it's so it's intriguing you know so I wanted order this one thing but it didn't they didn't do Heather so I was searching that do they do hello that particular company I had to buy it from a different company afterwards but so I found that company had they had announced on Facebook that look we're thinking of doing halal is that an issue this was a few years back and they obviously didn't after this
poll they took they said would it bother you and some loads of these people jumped on we're never gonna buy from you again and this this this and never gonna do this I'm never gonna do that and I'm reading through these comments like look I can understand don't look listen I can understand right that if you're a vegetarian you hate the concept of halal I can understand that of halal meat because
the concept of meat to you is like la nausea sand nauseating and stuff like this but these people are people who buy their products so they buy meat so what they're saying in essence is like I'm saying god this is so barbaric seventh-century barbarianism it's like but are you killing the animal as well this doesn't make any sense you're like yeah but I'm electrocuting the damn thing to death it's like and then they're gonna say why this move
this way it's like when you're killing the goddamn animal as well it's like yeah but I I don't don't cut his throat i electrocuted the poor soul to death you know I only put such a high voltage of electricity through its whole body that he kind of it traumatized the entire life out of the damn creature it's like and how does that make you humane I honestly could not understand these people I mean I can understand if you're a vegetarian then your argument stands as an argument but
as a person who eats meat how can you argue that no electrocuting is better than because and that's barbaric because I can see blood here but here I just send such a high voltage of electricity through the poor creatures brain and Daddy robs it of its soul and it dies is somehow humane I just feel Wow but anyway people that's some food for thought right so okay I think that's it let's wrap it up people let's wrap it up as always it's been awesome sugar and
