[Laughter] so no no no so we're practicing the palm people the palm [Laughter] palmistry palmistry i need to read these carefully these questions so
right yeah i would think these things are haram um astrology these kind of things are haram tarot cards and all of that stuff haram in the sense you see there are some harams people are going to think what on earth is mostly on about now so it's not i'm not speaking about haram in the sense of um i suppose people could say as well in
the sense punishable in the afterlife but i'm more speaking about the fact that it's forbidden because of the facade it causes here on earth you see the amount of people who be one can [ __ ] through superstition and send their lives down this abysmal spiral it is it is shocking these things like tarot cards these things like astrology now astrology when it's
presented in the papers and stuff like this it's usually just positive usually so oh you're going to meet someone wonderful oh it's going to be a changeup in your life oh this oh there's a new opportunity coming your way oh there's a [Laughter] oh your bottom statements right so um
those things in and of themselves i suppose just dumb people down but they're not that dangerous but the problem is you see once you get people hooked on things and they easily become hooked to superstition then they feel especially with the other see like these kind of just where you have something pleasant but ominous or mysterious being said like chinese fortune cookies you know these things are just nonsense but they don't usually cause harm but other superstitious practices
like sometimes palmistry tarot cards you know where you say things like death you tell people oh your lifeline oh you will suffer much in life unfortunately you will or you know there's misfortune coming your way what you do is is on many occasions the butterfly effect you it's the fluttering of these wings thousands of miles away that has some strange impact on a hurricane somewhere else you see you
set into motion a series of tragic events for that individual who himself or herself fulfills them as a self-fulfilling prophecy it is crazy as hell but it is being proven through scientific uh experiments how people see once you give them this pessimism pessimism they enacted but it the flip side to this is you can actually do the same with optimism and this is why the hadith said that the
prophet sallallahu alaihi you see he loved the prophet loved this good kind of i don't know how to translate it um saying a good omen doesn't sometimes you know people think what the hell does that mean but it's the opposite of superstition it's of this kind of um the optimism this wishful optimism the prophet would love that and he would encourage it and he discouraged anything to do with superstition
so i would say the same thing that beware of these things don't go to them do not read them do not listen to them they're just chatting nonsense but the problem is it can hook you sometimes so people so easily get hooked
