How seriously do you do you think that we would we would know how the prophet Of course in all honesty people we don't have a true idea. We just have a kind of guess that this is the the kind of they had simple clothing that they wore a kind of sarong the companions and people of Arabia they that's what they wore which you in Arabic you call a izaar or so that's what they wore and and they had like a a shirt they had a suit their version of a suit was that the izaar
with a kind of a slightly lower hanging shirt. They also wore a thobe which you have today kind of present still although today's thobes are not like those of the time of the prophet. Um but dress seriously I think um is something people should not I do not encourage people to dress uh in Arabic clothing um just be if I mean you're free to do whatever the hell you want in life.
But on the basis of Islam I don't encourage it. I discourage it actually. So it's nothing to do with Islam it's nothing to do with religion. Uh if you just have a habit of going around dressing like different cultures you can do what you like. There's no you know you can dress like Chinese people tomorrow the other day you can dress in some African dresses if you want the day after you can wear some Arabian dresses day after you can wear salwar kameez day after you can do whatever the hell you want.
But if you're doing it based on religion I would actually tell you to not do it. That's my advice. I feel that you've misunderstood religion and you know if if If companions could actually see what you people are not you, but what these people are doing, they would actually laugh at them. That is that what you think we we transmitted?
A dress code. That would be hilarious. Like check this out. Like imagine you had Like imagine now Einstein, check this out. Like let's say Einstein when he had his theory of relativity, he had this breakthrough. So he's wrote books on it and he's wanted to transmit it and he's wanted to And now he turns up a thousand years later to see what has the world benefited from what he brought them about his general theory of relativity and What it is is you have a number of people walking around just dressed like
Einstein in the early 1900s. Can you imagine the the the shock of horror would be like uh right What have I What have I created? That's not what they transmitted.
That's a proper That's a proper handicapped way to receive a tradition. You know, somebody comes with a message and you're like And they're like, are you listening? I've I've read all of this. Are you listening? You're like I Then when you turn away, you go Right, so we got to dress like them. Tell Tell all of the Tell all of the guys we got to dress like that from now on.
That's it. Anything else? Mm, not really. So All right, so that's That's That's uh let's move let's keep going with these Ramadan questions. When is a true
