Bismillah, people. Guys, I wanted to speak about life, okay? And why I say this is you'll understand obviously this sounds like common sense. Life, because we all have it. But let's reflect on some Quranic guidance. We'll go through some of the verses, then we're going to come back to the discussion.

0:25

You've got there from Surat An-Nahl, verse 77. That is such a powerful such a powerful verse.

0:48

You see, to Allah belongs the unseen. Because what does that mean? The unseen. It also Yes, it means that that which you don't know, it means the afterlife, it means preexistence, it means all of this. Yes, of course. Ah, but it also means all the goodness that is yet to come.

1:15

It also means all the achievements, the accomplishments in life that may happen or may not. It also includes all the suffering which may or may not happen. It includes everything. Allah Allah has He has that that all belongs to him.

1:40

It is not a matter for you. It is not for you to feel that you know this, you have this with certainty. You don't have any certainty on the matter. That woman am to say that And you see, it's amazing because Sa'ah is the moment. A Sa'ah. A Sa'ah people use it because it means the hour in Arabic.

2:06

Which it does, like a Sa'ah, kam is Sa'ah in Arabic, what what's the what's the time? But a Sa'ah can mean a watch or a clock or an hour, but it can also mean the moment. Ghari, the the actual the hour of this. The hour of death. The hour of the reckoning. The hour of the afterlife.

2:31

The hour of annihilation. You see? Wa ma Amr al-Sa'ah illa kalamh al-basar. It is but just a blinking of an eye. You see, because when you when you think about it, time is relative. People just have to fluctuate their planes of consciousness and they become aware of time being so relative.

3:06

Even though we share in this intersubjective relativity, but it doesn't really exist. And at that moment, everything is just like kalamh al-basar. Like the blinking of an eye.

3:29

And then Allah says, aw huwa aqrab. Or is it quicker still? Or is it faster than even the blinking of an eye? Perhaps. You see, in life, every every memory every experience it's the past.

4:04

You see? If it's it's gone. You're not in it. It's just being fed back to you in a loop. You are not a part of that past now. I mean, it is your past, but it's gone. I say this and this moment has now passed. We are in the next moment. And every future to come, it's something which it is always just an anticipation.

4:37

All we ever have is the everlasting now. Hence the philosophers, you see the philosophical question that if everything Imagine the whole world has just began right now, but we've been implanted with the memories of our past. We could never know. Because we would just think it all happened like, "No, there was a past." Because it's in our memory.

5:06

But what if the whole world was just put together at this very moment right now? And we just had these memories. We would think, "Oh, it it existed and all this happened and all these things." And you could say, "Well, but they've got artifacts and they've got bones and they've got all the But all that's put together right now with the memory that it was ancient." There would be no way to discern the difference.

5:35

We We couldn't tell. We would assume it was just as it as it is now. You see? And like that the hour comes. It is like the blinking, the flashing of an eye. Allah says in Allah Kuli Shein Kadir.

5:58

Allah has power over all. Just and this in many ways can also be seen to about going back to the beginning of the verse, the unseen. Because life, I want to speak about life. People discussing today that looked, you know, sad things are happening in their lives.

6:23

But how do you know great things aren't destined for you? How do you know? But you've got to you've got to go there. You've got to take the step. You've got to smile. I mean hustle to say. Smile, laugh a little. You see in Allah Allah Kuli Shein Kadir.

6:46

Allah is all powerful. Over Allah has power over all of these things. Do you have the power to take the first step? Do you? You see? So such a powerful verse from Surah Nahl. Verse 77. And in that light Allah says in the second verse of men who many Rabbana fidunya hasana wafil akhirati hasana.

7:15

Waqina adhaban nar. It's one of the most powerful beautiful duas of the Quran. Sums life up. Live life to the fullest. Rabbana atina fidunya hasana. Give us the best right here. And give us the best afterwards. Just give us the best.

7:40

Save us from damnation. And that by extension can be any and every harm. Save us from harm, from negativity. We don't need negativity. You want positivity. Love, compassion. You are asking Allah. Allah is teaching you this dua in the Quran Surah Al-Baqarah verse 201 that

8:09

Just make it all good. Why wake up and choose suffering? Wake up and choose life. It's already been given to you. And Allah is saying, teaching you, ask for this. Why ask for it? You think why is why is Allah saying ask for it?

8:33

Why be He can just give it. By asking, by verbalizing. You see the ulama say that the Quran it you can just say it in your mind. Dua can just be in your mind. But they say articulate it. Verbalize it. And they say, you know, with each nutq of the speech there is a reward.

8:59

They're enticing you to say it. Why? Because by saying it, you see you're hearing it. You're hearing it within. It is altering your mindset. You've already taken a step towards it. You've already said it. Like give us goodness. Now, why should This deen isn't about being, you know, depressed or being sad or being a hermit or being ascetic or being or going through suffering and sacrifice.

9:33

Sure, these things may happen, but the deen isn't about that. You choose to live it to its fullest. So, this is one of the most powerful duas. And in light of those verses, you've got another verse as well. I can Oh, it's brought it up.

9:56

Which is in Surah An-Nahl. You've got it in Surah An-Nahl, otherwise I could just bring it up here. Um And that in Surah An-Nahl, verse 30. Wa qeela lillatheena taqaw matha anzala rabbukum. And it is said to those It is said to those people You see that that are mindful of God.

10:25

They have God consciousness. Taqaw. Matha anzala rabbukum. See, what has your Lord Now, this doesn't just Obviously, anzala can mean present down, but what has your God even done for you? What has it You know, by extension, what has God even done for you? What has he brought you? What has he sent down for you?

10:49

Qaloo khairan. Allah. They said goodness. Look at the answer. If they they're not saying, "Oh, he sent down a list of rules or he sent down a he's struck it. He sent goodness. Sums it all up. You know, you're asking me what has God He's done greatness for us.

11:16

That lillatheena ahsanu fee hathehi dunya hasana. Those who are people of ihsan. And this is this kind of compassion, this positivity. Those who are people of this there is goodness for them in this world. That we have the dunya hasana.

11:40

That that's what these people will have. They will have goodness in this world. What a darul akhirah khair. And yet this life isn't everything. This life isn't everything. It's a comma, not a full stop. What's to come is even better. Haha, Allah.

12:03

What a darul akhirah khair. What a ni'ma darul muttaqin. And what an abode for those who are mindful. Who are God conscious. Some amazing incredibly powerful verses to remind us all.
