assalamu alaikum folks very few things when engaged appear afresh with new inspiration but such is the quran check this out you could be going through any issues or challenges personal health related grappling with relationships making a business decision dealing with family matters you could be preoccupied mentally now you come to a verse of the quran it has its primary meaning but all of a sudden

0:39

it appears as though it's intimating a reflective insight for whatever you're going through and that is something which it is so i welcome you to try and test it to see this is the miraculous nature of the quran and i want to speak today a bit about surah zil zal okay but before coming to that i'll give you an example that many years ago i was when i was doing my psychology degree so we were covering the topic of the unconscious mind according to freud or

1:19

the psyche according to young now this is such a huge topic because so much of what happens in our lives is perhaps influenced by the unconscious mind whether it's things from childhood or events or traumas later on that get buried the unconscious is like what's beneath the tip of the iceberg so much of it acts out and manifests but we don't we ain't aware sometimes why these actions that we are now involved

1:56

with have a link to what's going on in the unconscious in some ways like how ralib says that he says that this restlessness that you have it isn't without a cause or reason there is something which this is serving as a veil for so that's such a huge topic and something that concerns everybody in their real lives now coming to surah zelda

2:34

this is a surah surah 99 it has eight verses go to it read it it's an amazing surah one of the early surahs and it's speaking about the earth and about a great earthquake now that's its meaning everybody knows that but at the time you see it occurred to me that in many ways the earth also parallels the psyche that it too if you think about it has so much buried within it has

3:12

treasures it has skeletons it brings forth fruit but also poison it has a connection with the divine and it has its manifestation in the cosmos so you see now is speaking about the earth but there you can see about the psyche when it shakes when it has its tremors

3:49

and it brings forth what's buried within that insane asks what's going on why am i doing these things i i don't even understand yet it speaks it dictates so much of our actions are being dictated to us

4:22

yet it has a deep connection with the divine yes that the actions manifest and have real life consequences whosoever acts an atom's weight of good it doesn't go unnoticed but whosoever does an atom's weight of harm it leaves an imprint

5:02

you see whatever you are engaged with you come to the quran it gives you a reflective insight and this isn't about trying to make new rulings this is about the incredible meaning that the quran can give you if you connect with it that's what you have to do that you have to take out a bit of time or you know in the words of faith

5:36

here says what else is there now to see in this world i've attached my heart to you and seen it all see if we take that that that focus and connect with the quran it opens up a myriad of meanings for our daily lives may allah bless you all this
