20 Oct 2018Responding to Refutations Does the Quran say Ibrahim was thrown into the fire, or that the table was sent down to Jesus's disciples? No verse of the Quran says that Ibrahim was thrown into the fire or that the table came down to the disciples, and 'incline them towards you' is the literal wording of 2:260. These are readings of the text as it stands, and calling those who hold them deviants is unacceptable.
